Wijnaldum is a Dutch footballer who currently plays for Roma on loan from Paris Saint-Germain. Wijnaldum made his debut in the Eredivisie with Sparta Rotterdam in 2007, before joining Feyenoord two years later.

He went on to make 109 appearances for PSV over the course of four seasons, scoring 40 goals along the way.

In 2015, Wijnaldum moved to France and signed for Paris Saint-Germain; he spent two seasons at the club before moving to Roma this year.

A versatile midfielder, Wijnaldum has been used primarily as a central or defensive player by both clubs he's played for throughout his career so far - an attribute which may give him an advantage playing alongside more attacking players at Roma.

Having represented Netherlands at youth level, Wijnaldum became eligible to represent his country internationally in 2014 and made his full international debut that same year against Luxembourg.

Known for his strong passing ability and workrate off the ball, Wijnaldum is considered one of Holland's most promising young talents.

With 26 caps under his belt (including 3 starts), he is well on track to becoming regular captain of Netherlands' national team in future years.

Despite being 32 years old now - making him somewhat older than many of Europe's top midfielders - Georginio still has plenty left in terms of potential; we can only hope that he continues developing at such a rapid rate.
