Ruud van Nistelrooy is a former Dutch international striker who played for PSV Eindhoven and Manchester United. He was named the Premier League Player of the Year in 2006–07, and won two league titles with United.

Van Nistelrooy began his career at club side Nooit Gedacht before moving to RKSV Margriet in 1990. He made his senior debut for Den Bosch in 1993, where he spent six seasons before joining PSV Eindhoven in 1997. 

Van Nistelrooy helped PSV win two league championships during his time at the club, and also lifted the Champions League trophy twice – first with United in 2007–08, and then again with the Netherlands later that same year.

In 2018 he announced his retirement from professional football after 17 years at PSV Eindhoven as their head coach. 

Van Nistelrooy represented Holland on 83 occasions between 1995 and 2013, scoring 41 goals along the way; including three major tournaments.

Ronaldo is a Brazilian striker who is one of the most celebrated and successful players in world football. 

Ronaldo first emerged on the international scene at age 18 with Brazil, scoring 41 goals in 74 appearances for his country over a period of six years.

After spells at Cruzeiro and PSV, Ronaldo transferred to Barcelona where he won three La Liga titles and two Champions League crowns. 

 In 2003, Ronaldo joined Real Madrid where he became one of the club's all-time greats, winning five consecutive Spanish league titles as well as multiple Champions League trophies and FIFA Club World Cups.

In 2007, Ronaldo moved to AC Milan but was unable to replicate his earlier success there before joining Corinthians in 2009; after two seasons with them he returned to Spain with Real Madrid once again in 2011). 

The 2013–14 season saw Ronaldo win another Ballon d'Or award as Europe's best footballer while playing for Madrid alongside teammates Gareth Bale and Luka Modric (who both also received individual awards that year).

On 24 May 2018, aged 36 years old  Ronaldo announced his retirement from professional football following his victory in the Copa del Rey final.

Heurelho Gomes is a Brazilian goalkeeper who has played for Cruzeiro and Watford in the English Premier League. Heurelho Gomes made his professional debut with Cruzeiro in 2002, before joining Watford in 2015.

During his time at Watford, Heurelho Gomes helped them avoid relegation from the Premier League in 2016/17 as well as reaching the FA Cup final that same season. 

In 2017, Heurelho Gomes joined Spanish side Valencia on a three-year deal after leaving Watford following their relegation from La Liga the previous year.

The 41-year-old has represented Brazil at senior level and was part of their squad that won the Copa America Centenario earlier this year.

Having kept 22 clean sheets during his 47 appearances for Valencia so far, Heurelogho currently stands eighth overall on club's all-time list for most clean sheets. 

Born 15 February 1981,[1] Hispano Brazilian goalkeeper Heurelho da Silva Gomes began his career playing for local side Democrata SL before moving to fellow Brasileirão sides Cruzeiro and then back to Democrata again between 2001–2002.

After spending two years away at Internacional,[6] primarily due to visa issues[7], he signed with English Championship outfit Charlton Athletic where he spent five seasons until 2006 making over 100 league appearances (scoring once).

While also becoming first choice keeper of both the Brazil national team[8][9][10] and Atlético Mineiro under manager Vanderlei Luxemburgo prior to taking up an offer from newly promoted Portuguese Primeira Liga champions FC Porto. 

Which reunited him with José Mourinho who had managed him during his spell at Chelsea between 2004–2006 – winning one Serie A title and one Coppa Italia whilst competing alongside several other players including Deco, Rui Costa & Nemanja Matic amongst others).

Following Mourinho’s departure to Manchester United midway through 2008–09 season,[14], having already agreed personal terms but was unable or unwilling to obtain a work permit despite living full time in Portugal since 2007.

Without incident, he moved permanently back home initially signing a 2½ year contract with CR Vasco da Gama before agreeing on another permanent move back north.

Dries Mertens is a Belgian professional footballer who plays for Turkish side Galatasaray as a forward. Dries Mertens was born on May 6, 1987 in Leuven, Belgium.

He started his career with hometown club Stade Leuven before moving to Dutch side Anderlecht in 2003. 

In 2005, he signed for Gent ahead of the 2006–07 season and went on to make over 100 appearances for the club before joining Spanish giants Barcelona in 2012 but only managed two seasons at the Camp Nou before returning to Gent where he still currently plays.

At the international level, Mertens has represented Belgium at every youth level from under-16s up until the senior team level and made his debut against Cyprus in 2009 during Euro 2008 qualifiers campaign scoring twice including one penalty kick.

Becoming joint top scorer along with Ruud van Nistelrooy among Belgian players ever when tallying 8 goals across all official competitions these performances saw him nominated for The Best Fifa Men’s Player Award alongside Cristiano Ronaldo & Lionel Messi. 

But ultimately lost out to France’s Luka Modric whilst also being named Golden Ball Winner as player adjudged best performer at Russia2018 tournament by journalists from around the world.

Arjen Robben is a Dutch footballer who plays for Bayern Munich in the German Bundesliga. He has also played for PSV, Chelsea and Real Madrid. Arjen Robben was born on 23 January 1984 in Bedum, Netherlands.

Park Ji-sung is a South Korean professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Queens Park Rangers. He began his career at Anyong Middle School before moving to Suwon Technical High School, where he won the National Youth Championship in 1998.

After two seasons with Kyoto Purple Sanga, Park joined Kyocera Bluewings of Japan's J1 League in 2003 and helped them win the league title that season. 

In 2006, he returned to South Korea and signed with Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC before joining QPR in 2007 on a free transfer; he went on to make over 150 appearances for the R's over six years until leaving in 2015.

Ibrahim Sangaré is a 25-year-old Ivorian defensive midfielder who currently plays for PSV. He started his career with hometown club Koumassi before moving to France to join Saint-Étienne in 2013.

After two seasons with the Ligue 1 side, he joined Dutch side PSV in 2016 and has since made over 100 appearances for them. 

He represented Ivory Coast at U17, U20, and senior levels and was part of the team that reached the semi-finals of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ruud Gullit was born on September 1, 1962 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He played for ASV Meerboys and DWS before joining Feyenoord in 1979. 

Gullit then starred for PSV from 1985 to 1987 before moving to AC Milan and becoming one of the most successful Dutch players of all time.

In 1993 he joined Sampdoria on a loan but returned to AC Milan later that year after they bought his contract outright. Between 1994 and 1995, he played for Newcastle United in England where he won two Premier League titles as well as the UEFA Champions League. 

After finishing his playing career with Sampdoria in 1997, Gullit took up coaching positions with Chelsea (1998–2001), Real Madrid (2002) and Holland national team (2003).

He retired from coaching at the end of 2006 season having won 4 Eredivisie titles with Ajax.[1] Ruud Gullit is currently a football commentator working alongside former teammate Phillip Cocu during broadcasts of Serie A matches on Fox Sports Asia.

Cody Gakpo is a Dutch-born winger who currently plays for Liverpool. He began his youth career with NEC Nijmegen before moving to Feyenoord in 2016. He made his senior debut for Feyenoord in 2017 and went on to make 10 appearances for the club that season.

Joey Veerman is a Dutch midfielder who currently plays for PSV Eindhoven. He made his debut for PSV in the 2017-18 season and has since become an important part of their team.

Joey is known for his hard work on the pitch and good passing skills, which have helped him to develop into one of the top midfielders in Europe. He is also a capable goalscorer, having scored over 20 times in total during his career so far.

Joey is considered to be a very promising young player and could go on to achieve great things if he continues to progress at this rate. Veerman is a versatile defender who can play at either left-back or centre-half. He started his career with RKAV Volendam, before joining Dutch giants Feyenoord in 2005.

Walter Benítez is a 29-year old goalkeeper who currently plays for PSV. He has spent his entire career playing in the Netherlands, first with Ajax and then with Feyenoord.

Xavi Simons is a talented midfielder who has played for PSV since he was just 16 years old. Xavi Simons helped PSV win the Eredivisie in both of his seasons with them, and also reached the Champions League semi-finals in 2016–17.

Guus Til is a young, attacking midfielder who currently plays for PSV. He started his career at Geinburgia, before moving on to SV Diemen in the Netherlands.

In 2017, he joined Spartak Moscow and has since made an impact, scoring nine goals in all competitions. Til is known for his fast-paced play and hard work off the ball; this has seen him become a mainstay in Russia’s national team set-up over recent years.

Mark van Bommel is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Belgian side Royal Antwerp. Van Bommel started his career at RKVV Maasbracht before joining PSV in 1999.

He spent six seasons with the Eindhoven club, helping them to two league titles and three UEFA Champions League appearances. In 2005, Van Bommel moved to Barcelona where he made 24 appearances before leaving in 2006 to join Bayern Munich.

The following year, he helped the Bavarian giants win their fifth consecutive Bundesliga title and reach the 2007–08 Champions League Final; they eventually lost on penalties against Manchester United.. After four years with Bayern Munich, Van Bommel left Europe to sign for Royal Antwerp in 2011.

Dirk Jan Klaas Huntelaar is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a striker for Spanish club Valencia and the Netherlands national team. He began his career at VV H.

en K., before moving to PSV Eindhoven in 2002. After two seasons with PSV, he moved to Ajax where he won three successive league titles between 2006 and 2009. 

In September 2011, Huntelaar joined Spanish side Valencia on a five-year deal; he made his debut for the club on 24 October of that year against Real Sociedad in La Liga, scoring the winning goal in a 3–2 victory.

He was joint top scorer at UEFA Euro 2016 with six goals, including the winner in the final against France. At the international level, Huntelaar has represented Holland since making his senior debut in 2003 and has scored 73 total goals representing his country,[6] including 11 international hat-tricks.

Mauro Júnior is a Brazilian midfielder who currently plays for PSV. He made his professional debut in the Eredivisie with Desportivo Brasil in 2013 and has since played for several other clubs, including PSV and Shakhtar Donetsk.

The 23-year-old was part of Brazil's under-20 squad that won the 2017 Toulon Tournament and reached the final of the Under-21 Copa America, where they were beaten by Chile.

Romário is a Brazilian politician and former football player who served two terms as the Mayor of Rio de Janeiro from 1995 to 2001. In 2002, Romário ran for the Brazilian Senate, but lost in the first round of voting.

Ronald Koeman is a Dutch football manager and defender who has played for Ajax, Barcelona and PSV. Koeman was born on March 21st, 1963 in Zaandam, Netherlands.

After playing for VV Helpman as a youngster he joined Groningen before moving to Ajax in 1983 where he would play 94 times over the next three years including winning the Eredivisie title in 1986-87 season.

He then moved to Spain joining Barcelona where he won two La Liga titles (1992–93 & 1993–94) and the Copa del Rey (1995). He also reached the UEFA Champions League final of 1994 against AC Milan but lost 2-1 after extra time.

Koeman led Southampton into Europe for the first time in 12 years during his second spell at helm which ended with relegation back down to England's Championship division at the end of 2011/12 campaign.

However, they bounced back up again under Koeman's management via playoffs during 2013/14 season.

Jaap Stam was born on July 17, 1972 in Kampen, Netherlands, and started his career with DOS Kampen in 1988. He made his professional debut with FC Zwolle in 1992 and went on to play for SC Cambuur, Willem II, and Manchester United.

André Ooijer is a Dutch football player who has played for PSV, Ajax, and the Netherlands national team. Ooijer began his career at SDW before joining Ajax in 1986.

He went on to play for PSV for the majority of his career. Ooijer has made over 250 appearances for the Netherlands, including at the 1998 World Cup and the 2002 and 2006 European Championships.

He retired from football in 2006, but has since been appointed youth coach at PSV. André Ooijer is married and has two children. He is known for his strong defensive play and accurate passing. André Ooijer was named Dutch Footballer of the Year in 1994.

He has since worked as a coach at his former club Kilmarnock. Valckx was named Dutch Footballer of the Year in 1990 and 2001. He was also named in the Scottish Football Hall of Fame in 2006.

Mateja Kežman is a Serbian striker who has played for Radnički Pirot, Loznica, Sartid Smederevo and Radnički Niš. Kežman was born in Belgrade in 1979 and started his career with Zemun in the Yugoslav First League in 1986.

Kežman moved to Serbian First League rivals Radnički Pirot in 1996 and made 17 appearances for the club over the next three seasons. Kežman signed for Loznica in 1998 and scored 13 goals in 13 appearances before moving on to Sartid Smederevo in 1999.

Kežman spent two seasons at Sartid before moving to Radnički Niš in 2001. He made 14 appearances for the club before retiring in 2002. Kežman has since worked as a football agent.

 Kežman made his international debut for Serbia in a 1998 World Cup qualifier against Macedonia and has since earned 14 caps.

Kežman is married and has two children.

The Philips Sport Vereniging (PSV) is one of the most successful Dutch sports clubs of all time. The club has won a total of 101 official Dutch championships, including 37 national titles and 29 regional titles.
