The Scottish Premier League is the top division of professional football in Scotland. It is contested by 12 teams, and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Scottish Championship. The current champions are Celtic, who have won the title on a record nine occasions.

The league has a rich history, with some of the biggest clubs in the world such as Rangers, Celtic and Aberdeen all competing in it. It is one of the most competitive leagues in Europe and the standard of play is consistently high.

Robertson was born in Glasgow, Scotland on March 11th, 1994. He started his career at Hibernian before moving to Liverpool in 2016 for a £ 8 million fee. Robertson has made over 100 appearances for Liverpool and is considered one of the club's most consistent players.

Robertson represented Scotland at the youth level, but never played senior international football until 2017 when he made 3 appearances for them during qualification for the World Cup Finals. 

In 2018, Robertson helped Liverpool win their fifth European Champions League title by playing in all 6 matches of the Final against Real Madrid CF.

He has recently been linked with a move away from Anfield, with Manchester United being reported as one of his potential suitors,[6] however he remains contracted to Liverpool until 2021.

Andrew Robertson is a Scottish footballer who plays as a left-back for Liverpool and the Scotland national team. He started his career at Celtic, before joining Queen's Park in 2009.

Cameron Carter-Vickers is a 25 year old center back who currently plays for Celtic. Carter-Vickers started playing football at the age of six with Catholic United and went on to make over 100 appearances for them before signing for Tottenham Hotspur in 2009.

During his time at Spurs, Carter-Vickers made 23 appearances in all competitions and helped the club win the FA Youth Cup in 2012 as well as reaching the semi finals of both UEFA Champions League and Europa League during his tenure there. 

In 2016, Carter-Vickers moved to Scottish giants Celtic where he has since established himself as an important part of their defense, making 28 league appearances so far this season while also picking up 3 cups (Scottish Premiership, Scottish Cup, European Supercup).

Thomas Morris Lawrence was born on 13 January 1994 in Wrexham, Wales. He is a forward and has played for Rangers since 2016. Lawrence made his senior debut with Manchester United in 2013 and has also played for Everton and Liverpool during his career so far.

Tom Lawrence is a talented young midfielder who has had an impressive career in the English Premier League. 

He started his career with Manchester United, but he soon moved on to Carlisle United on loan. He then spent two seasons at Yeovil Town before joining Leicester City in 2014.

Lawrence was part of the Wales squad that won the U21 World Cup in 2015 and 2016. In 2017, he joined Ipswich Town on loan for one season before moving to Derby County in 2018. 

He signed for Rangers in Scotland this past offseason and is looking forward to playing there for many years to come.

Odsonne Édouard was born in Kourou, French Guiana on 16 January 1998 and is a forward for Crystal Palace. He started his career with AF Bobigny before joining Paris Saint-Germain in 2011.

In 2015, he joined PSG's senior team and has played 15 times so far this season. Odsonne is a fast player who can create chances for himself or others and has been praised by some of the best managers in the game.

His international career began at age 18 when he made his debut for France against Gabon in 2016 Odsonne Édouard is a French professional footballer who plays as a forward for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and the France national team.

Odsonne Édouard was born in 1989 in the suburb of Levallois-Perret, just west of Paris. He began his career at PSG's youth academy before making his senior debut in 2009–10, aged 18 years old. 

In total, he has made over 220 appearances for PSG across all competitions – scoring 83 goals – including winning three Ligue 1 titles and two Coupe de France trophies during his time with the club.

On 15 May 2019, Édouard scored twice against Manchester United to help secure qualification for Europe’s top competition for the first time in their history; becoming only the fourth player ever to score 50 goals and win 100 international caps (the other three being Pele Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo). 

France at under-19 level before earning senior honors with Les Bleus later that year. Winning a World Cup runners up medal in Russia 2018 and captaining them at UEFA Euro 2020 where they reached semi finals where they were narrowly beaten by Portugal on penalties after a 0-0 draw following extra time.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a midfielder or left-back for Spanish club Barcelona. Van Bronckhorst began his career at Feyenoord, and made over 100 appearances for the Rotterdam side before joining Rangers in 1998.

He spent two years with Arsenal, helping them win the Premier League title in 2003–04 before signing for Barcelona on loan the following season. After returning to Arsenal, he departed after one more year playing mainly reserve team football. 

Since then, van Bronckhorst has played regularly for Barcelona's B team and occasionally featured in La Liga matches during the 2011–12 campaign; however, he announced his retirement from professional football at age 35 due to persistent injury concerns.

In May 2014 it was announced that van Bronckhorst would take up an assistant coaching role with Ajax under new manager Frank de Boer until the end of the season.

Henrik Larsson is a Swedish professional footballer, who currently plays for Manchester United. He has played in the Premier League for both Celtic and Barcelona, as well as periods on loan at Helsingborgs IF and Manchester United.

Henrik Larsson was born on September 20th 1971 in Helsingborg, Sweden. At the age of 17 he joined Högaborgs BK where he would score 64 goals over two seasons before transferring to Helsingborgs IF. 

In 1992, Larsson transferred to Feyenoord where he scored 101 goals over six years including 26 during his time with Feyenoord which earned him selection to play for Sweden at Euro 96 that year.

After leaving Feyenoord in 2004, Larsson signed for Celtic becoming one of their most prolific strikers ever with 174 goals in total across seven seasons with the Glasgow club; this included winning three Scottish Premier Leagues (2005-07).

Two Scottish Cups (2003-05) and one Scottish League Cup (2004). In 2006, after nine successful years at Celtic Park transfer speculation began linking him with some of Europe's biggest clubs including Barcelona and Real Madrid.

It was Manchester United who secured his services on a season long loan deal later that year; this move proved incredibly successful as he helped them win four trophies - FA Cup (2007), Champions League (2008), European Super Cup (2008) and Intercontinental Cup (2009).

Upon returning to Old Trafford from his loan spell at Helsingborgs IF in 2007, rumours circulated once again linking him with Spanish giants Real Madrid but ultimately nothing came of these reports leading.

Many pundits to believe that something had held back negotiations between the two sides until just days before signing officially became official on July 1st 2009 when Barça matched United's £30 million valuation.

On June 30th 2014 it was announced by Manchester united that Henrik Larrson had retired from football due to an ACL injury sustained while playing against Chelsea earlier that month.

However following surgery,[4] Larrson made a return briefly representing Man Utd A team during their pre-season tour of America early 2015 scoring once against Club Tijuana U23.[5][6][7][8] * Senior career includes appearances prior to 1997.

Petrov is a Bulgarian international midfielder who has played for clubs in his country, Bulgaria and MLS side Toronto FC. Petrov made his professional debut with Montana in 1998 before moving to CSKA Sofia the following year.

He spent two years at the club before joining Lazio in 2001. In 2004, he joined Manchester United on a season-long loan deal but failed to make an appearance for the Red Devils. 

He subsequently returned to Lazio where he stayed until 2007 when he moved to Newcastle United on a free transfer.

After one season at Newcastle, Petrov signed for MLS side Toronto FC ahead of their inaugural season in 2008.

Which proved successful as they reached both the semi-finals and final of that year's CONCACAF Champions League although they were defeated by LA Galaxy in the latter stages of that competition. 

During his four seasons with Toronto FC, Petrov won three Supporters' Shields (2009–11), two Canadian Championships (2010 & 2011) and was named Major League Soccer MVP runner-up during the 2010 season. 

On 7 July 2013 it was announced that Petrov had transferred from Toronto FC to Russian Premier League side Lokomotiv Moscow.[3] However just over 12 months later he left Lokomotiv after making only six appearances.

In January 2017 it was announced that Petrov had rejoined former club CSKA Sofia on a short term contract.[4] Just days later however CSKA terminated his contract citing "personal reasons".

On 31 August 2017 it was announced thatPetrova had signed with Greek Superleague outfit AEK Athens[6] where he will reunite with manager Slavisa Jokanovic having coached him while managing Vitesse Arnhem between 2009 and 2012.

Kyogo Furuhashi is a Japanese footballer who currently plays for Celtic in the Scottish Premiership. 

Furuhashi was born on 20 January 1995 in Ikoma, Nara prefecture, Japan and began his footballing career playing for local club Ikoma Iga J-League Division 1 side Kawasaki Frontale U-19s before being scouted by Sagan Tosu of J1 League side FC Tokyo in 2012.

He made his professional debut with Sagan Tosu later that year. After impressing during trials at Celtic, Furuhashi signed for the Scottish club on 2 July 2017 and made his first team debut against Aberdeen three days later as a 63rd minute substitute. 

The following week he scored his first goal for Celtic in their 3–0 victory over Kilmarnock.[2] In total Furuhashi has made 43 appearances and scored eight goals for Celtic since signing from FC Tokyo.

Making him one of the most highly rated young players in Scotland's top flight, alongside fellow new signings Eboue Kouassi (Stoke City) and Moussa Dembele (Celtic).

Kyogo is also eligible to represent Japan internationally due to having both parents originally from the country,[3] but has yet to make an appearance for them at the senior level despite being dual registered with the Samurai Blue national team since 2016[4]. Kyogo purchase.

Moravčík was born in Nitra, Czechoslovakia on 22 June 1965. He began his career at hometown club Nitra before moving to French side Saint-Etienne in 1990.

Moravčík made 111 appearances for Saint-Etienne over two spells, scoring 27 goals along the way. After leaving France, Moravčík joined Slovakian outfit ŠK Slovan Bratislava in 1996 and went on to make 245 appearances for the club over 10 seasons, helping them win five league titles and three cups (including the 2008–09 Cup Winners' Cup).

In 2010, he became vice president of Slovakia's football association after serving as their general secretary between 2004 and 2009. 

On 29 May 2011, Moravčík played in midfield alongside John F Kennedy Jr., son of then US President John F Kennedy, during a testimonial match staged in honor of JFK's legacy at Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester; United won 3–1 with Bobby Charlton scoring one of the goals.

He announced his retirement from professional football following ŠK Slovan Bratislava's relegation from top flight Slovak football at the end of 2014–15 season.[2] Moravcik also represented Czechoslovakia youth teams.

Jota was born in Lisbon, Portugal on March 30th 1999. Jota started playing football at the age of 6 for local side Benfica. He made his professional debut in 2017 and has since played 23 games for Benfica B, scoring 10 goals.

In June 2020, Jota signed a three-year contract with Scottish champions Celtic after impressing during loan spells with Valladolid and Celtic earlier that year. Jota is primarily a winger but can also play as an attacking midfielder or forward due to his speed and technical ability on the ball.

His versatility makes him an important player for both club and country sides alike, having represented Portugal at Under 18 level before making his senior international debut in 2018 aged just 19 years old.

Jota is a talented Portuguese footballer who has played for the Portugal U21 side. Jota started his career at Porto and made an impact in their youth sides before moving on to play for Sporting Lisbon, where he became a key player.

Jota represented Portugal at UEFA European Under-17 Championship winning the competition in 2016 whilst also being named as man of the match in the final against Spain. 

In 2018, Jota helped Portugal reach the semi-finals of UEFA European Under-19 Championship where they were eventual runners up after losing to Sweden on penalties following a 2–2 draw in the final stage. 

Jota is rumored to be joining Celtic next season and will hope to help them win more trophies during his time with them.

McGregor was born in Glasgow, Scotland on 14 June 1993. He started his career at Celtic and made over 100 appearances for the club before joining Everton in August 2017.

McGregor has been capped by Scotland at youth level and made his senior debut against Malta in November 2013. In January 2019, McGregor joined Celtic permanently after leaving Everton earlier that month.

Callum is a versatile midfielder who can play as either a central or attacking player and is known for his quick feet and passing ability McGregor is a versatile midfielder who can play in any midfield position.

He has experience playing for Scotland at various levels, and was part of the team that reached the semifinal stage of the UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying campaign. 

McGregor is known for his passing ability and ball control, as well as his shooting accuracy from distance.

He joined Celtic from Notts County in 2013, and has since made 260 appearances for the club across all competitions (including 37 appearances on loan). McGregor will be looking to help Celtic reach their fourth consecutive Scottish Cup final this season.

Liel Abada is a talented Israeli winger who signed with Scottish Premiership side Celtic in the summer of 2021. The 21-year-old has already made an impact for Celtic, scoring twice in five appearances so far this season.

Abada is known for his speed and dribbling ability, which have seen him score goals both at youth level and on loan with Hapoel Petah Tikva last season. 

The Israel international looks set to become a key player for Celtic over the next few years and could challenge for first-team opportunities soon Liel Abada is a midfielder who plays for Maccabi Petah Tikva in the Israeli Premier League.

He has represented Israel at youth international level, and is currently contracted to the club until 2021. Liel Abada made his debut for Maccabi Petah Tikva in the 2017–2018 season, appearing as a substitute in a game against Celtic. 

In 2018 he was part of the team that won the Israel U18 championship. Liel Abada has also played for Israel's under-19s and under-21s teams, making eight appearances combined between them since joining up with those squads in 2020 and 2021 respectively.

He scored his first senior goal for Maccabi Petah Tikva in a league game against Hapoel Tel Aviv on 24 September 2022.

Reo Hatate was born in 1997 in Suzuka, Japan and is currently a midfielder for Celtic. Reo Hatate started his youth career with FC Yokkaichi before moving to Shizuoka Gakuen HS in 2013.

In 2016, he joined Juntendo University where he played until 2019 when he signed with Celtic on a two-year contract. 

Reo Hatate has represented the Japanese U23 side on several occasions and has also been called up by manager Vahid Halilhodzic for international duty but hasn't yet made an appearance.

ReoHatate is known for his hardworking style of play which often leads to him winning possession back deep in his own half or starting attacks from the backline himself; this makes him an important member of any team that employs attacking football philosophies. 

Reo Hatate is a Japanese midfielder who most recently played for Kawasaki Frontale in the J-League.

Reo Hatate has represented Japan at various youth levels, including the under-20 and under-23 sides. The 23-year old signed with Celtic in February 2022 after leaving his previous club, and he's looking to help them win titles in Europe next season. 

Reo Hatate is known for his powerful long shots from distance, which could be an asset on the European stage; we'll have to see how he does when he joins up with Celtic.

Matt O'Riley is a 22-year-old midfielder who currently plays for Celtic. He was born in England and played youth football with Chelsea, Crystal Palace, and Fulham before joining Celtic in January 2016.

In total, he has made 51 appearances for Celtic since signing up – scoring two goals. Outside of football, Matt enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Matt O'Riley is a talented footballer who has played for Fulham and Milton Keynes Dons in the English Premier League.

Daizen Maeda is a Japanese winger who currently plays for Celtic. He made his professional debut with Matsumoto Yamaga in 2016, and he has also played for Taki High School and Nagoya Grampus Eight over the course of his career so far.

Maeda is known for being speedy and strong on the ball, which makes him an effective attacker both from wide positions as well as up front on his own. 

With a good future ahead of him, Daizen Maeda will be hoping to continue developing at Celtic and improve further both domestically and internationally during the next few years.

Daizen Maeda is a Japanese midfielder who currently plays for Yokohama F. Marinos in the J1 League. He has previously played for Yakyû Club, Mito HollyHock and Celtic. 

Daizen made his international debut for Japan in 2018 and has since gone on to make 17 appearances for the national side. In 2019, he joined up with Japan's U23 team and helped them qualify for the 2020 AFC Asian Cup where they will compete in Australia later this year.

Sead Hakšabanović is a winger and forward who currently plays for Celtic. He has represented Sweden at youth level, winning the U16 European Championship in 2017.

Sead Hakšabanović was born on 4 May 1999 in Hyltebruk, Sweden. At 1.74 metres tall, Sead Hakšabanović is a versatile player who can play as a winger or forward for Celtic.
