Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest football players in history. He started his career at Sporting CP and went on to play for some of the biggest clubs in Europe, including Manchester United and Real Madrid.

Pauleta is a well-known striker who played for several teams in his career. Pauleta was born in Ponta Delgada, Azores, Portugal and started playing football at the age of 10.

Nuno Mendes is a 20-year-old left-back who currently plays for Paris Saint-Germain. Mendes began his career with Despertar before signing with Sporting CP in 2021.

He has represented Portugal at youth level and was part of the side that won the European Under-19 Championship in 2018. 

Mendes is an aggressive defender who can also fill in as a left winger on occasion, making him an extremely versatile player both defensively and offensively.

Mário Rui is a Portuguese left-back who currently plays for Napoli. Mário Rui started his career with Vasco Gama Sines before moving to Sporting CP in 2008.

Mário Rui then played for Valencia from 2009 to 2010, and Benfica from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, Mário Rui joined Napoli and has since made over 100 appearances for the club.

Fonte is a central defender who has played for clubs in Portugal and France. At the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Fonte was Portugal's starting centre-back. Fonte started his career with Penafiel before moving to Sporting CP in 2002.

Ricardo Carvalho is a Portuguese international footballer who plays as a centre back for the Spanish club Real Madrid and the Portugal national team. Ricardo Carvalho started his career at his hometown club Amarante before moving to Porto in 1997.

Fernando Peyroteo was born in 1918 in the Angola town of Humpata. Peyroteo started his career in 1936 with Ferroviária de Luanda, and made his first-team debut a year later.

Peyroteo scored more than 100 goals in his career, including 52 in the Primeira Liga. Peyroteo played for Portugal at the 1958 World Cup, and helped the side reach the semi-finals.

Peyroteo retired from playing in the early 1960s, and went on to manage several clubs. Fernando Peyroteo died in 1978 at the age of 60. Fernando Peyroteo was born in 1932 in the city of Luanda, Angola.
