The UEFA European Under-21 Championship is a biennial football competition between the European men’s under-21 national teams of the UEFA member associations. The tournament has been held since 1992 and is a significant event in the footballing calendar.

In addition to deciding the European champions, the tournament acts as a qualifying event for the Summer Olympics. Italy and Spain have been the most successful teams, having won the tournament five times each, with Germany being the current champions.

Pierre Kalulu was born in Lyon, France on 5th June 2000. He started his career with local side US Melun before joining AC Milan in the summer of 2017. He has made 20 appearances for Milan so far and is a key player at the club.

In 2020, he represented France at the U-17 level and then played for their U-20 team at the European Championships later that year where they reached the semi-finals.

Francesco Bardi is a goalkeeper who currently plays for Serie A club Bologna. Bardi started his career at Livorno, where he made over 100 appearances during three spells with the club.

Anatoliy Demyanenko is a former Ukrainian professional footballer who played as a left-back and left winger. He began his career with Dnipro-75 Dnipropetrovsk in the Ukrainian Second League in 1971, and went on to play for Dynamo Kyiv in the Soviet Top League from 1978 to 1991.

He made his international debut for Ukraine in 1978, and earned a total of 33 caps, scoring one goal. Demyanenko retired from professional football in 1991, and later became a football coach. 

He was named Ukraine's Footballer of the Year in 1987 and 1991. Demyanenko was born on 19 February 1959 in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukrainian SSR.

He died on 18 March 2017, aged 63. Anatoliy Demyanenko was a Ukrainian football manager who was most notably in charge of Dynamo Kyiv from 1993 to 2005. He was born on October 5th, 1963 in the Ukrainian city of Dnipropetrovsk. 

After playing for various lower league teams, Demyanenko took over as manager of Dynamo Kyiv in 1993. He led the club to three Ukrainian Premier League titles, as well as two Ukrainian Cups, in his five seasons at the helm.
