Antonio Rüdiger is a German professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Real Madrid. He started his career at VfB Sperber Neukölln, before moving to SV Tasmania Berlin in 2005.

In 2008, he joined Borussia Dortmund and made over 100 appearances for the club before joining Real Madrid in 2013.

 Antonio has won several titles with Dortmund, including the Bundesliga twice and DFB-Pokal once, as well as being named runner up in the Champions League during his time there.

At international level, Rüdiger has represented Germany at youth levels before making his senior debut in 2014 against Norway and helping them qualify for the 2018 World Cup finals later that year.

In 2019 he was nominated for the prestigious Ballon d'Or but lost out to Luka Modric Antonio Rüdiger is a German professional footballer who currently plays for English club Chelsea.

Kanté is a defensive midfielder for Chelsea and has been with the club since 2013. Kanté made his professional debut in 2010, playing for Boulogne before joining Chelsea two years later.

He was part of the France squad that competed at the 2014 World Cup and Euro 2016 tournaments, winning both competitions on home soil. 

Kanté was named PFA Players' Player of the Year in 2017 after helping Chelsea win their fourth Premier League title in five seasons.

Jorginho is a Brazilian midfielder who has spent the past few seasons playing for Chelsea. Jorginho was born in Imbituba and started his career with Hellas Verona before moving to Sambonifacese on loan in 2010.

Jorginho made his senior debut for Hellas Verona in 2010 and has since played for Chelsea, Napoli, Atlético Madrid, Bologna and SSC Neapel. Jorginko is known for his excellent passing ability and tactical awareness as well as his leadership qualities on the pitch.

Mateo Kovačić is a Croatian-born Austrian central midfielder who currently plays for Chelsea. He made his debut for Dinamo Zagreb in 2010 and went on to feature for Inter Milan before joining Real Madrid in 2015.

Claude Makélélé was born in Kinshasa, Zaire on 18 February 1973. He started his career at Melun-Dammarie before moving to Nantes and then Marseille. After a few seasons with Real Madrid, Claude joined Chelsea as their technical mentor in 2012.

Claude has represented his country at various levels including the 1998 World Cup and the 2002 African Nations Cup where he won the tournament's Golden Ball award for being the best player of the competition. 

Claude is currently playing for Chelsea after leaving Real Madrid in 2003 Makélélé's managerial career has seen him work at clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain, Bastia, and Monaco.

Christian Pulisic is an American attacking midfielder who currently plays for Chelsea. He first came to prominence as a teenager when he played for Brackley Town in the UK before moving on to Michigan Rush and then PA Classics in Germany.

Greaves was a prolific striker during his playing career, netting 224 goals in 321 appearances for Tottenham Hotspur and AC Milan. Greaves won two League titles with Spurs before moving to Italy, where he helped AC Milan win the European Cup in 1967.

Greaves returned to England in 1970 and finished his career with Chelsea, winning another League title at the club in 1974. After retiring from football, Greaves became a media personality and commentator on sport for BBC Radio 5 Live. 

He died aged 81 in September 2021 after a long battle with cancer Greaves was a prolific goalscorer in the 1960s and 1970s, netting 38 times for West Ham United between 1971 and 1976.

Greaves also played for Brentwood, Chelmsford City and Woodford Town during his time as a footballer. Greaves made his international debut in 1957 and went on to score 57 goals for England over the course of three years. 

He won the 1966 World Cup with England as they triumphed over Argentina in what has been widely regarded as one of the most memorable tournaments ever staged. Greaves retired from football at the age of 34 after playing his final game for Fulham F C in 1980.

Thiago Silva is a central defender who has played for Chelsea since 2017. Silva was born in 1984 and began his career at Fluminense before moving to Barcelona-RJ in 2001.

Joe Cole is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for Liverpool and Chelsea. Joe Cole started his career at West Ham United, before moving to Chelsea in 2003.

Didier Drogba is a retired Ivorian footballer who played as a striker for several clubs in France and England. He began his career with French club Dunkirk, before moving to Ligue 1 side Guingamp in 2002.

After helping Guingamp reach the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup, he joined Chelsea where he won three Premier League titles, two FA Cups and one Champions League trophy during six seasons at Stamford Bridge from 2003 to 2010.

Didier Yves Drogba was born on March 11th 1978 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.[1] He started out playing football with local sides Dunkirk[2] and Tourcoing,[3] both in France's top division Ligue.

After impressing at the youth level with Le Mans, Ivorian powerhouse Olympique de la Gamba drafted him into their squad ahead of the 1988–89 season.

However, after featuring just twice – both coming off the bench – " Dido" opted instead to join fellow second-division outfit Abbeville midway through 1989 campaign.

Ruud Gullit was born on September 1, 1962 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He played for ASV Meerboys and DWS before joining Feyenoord in 1979. 

Gullit then starred for PSV from 1985 to 1987 before moving to AC Milan and becoming one of the most successful Dutch players of all time.

In 1993 he joined Sampdoria on a loan but returned to AC Milan later that year after they bought his contract outright. Between 1994 and 1995, he played for Newcastle United in England where he won two Premier League titles as well as the UEFA Champions League. 

After finishing his playing career with Sampdoria in 1997, Gullit took up coaching positions with Chelsea (1998–2001), Real Madrid (2002) and Holland national team (2003).

He retired from coaching at the end of 2006 season having won 4 Eredivisie titles with Ajax.[1] Ruud Gullit is currently a football commentator working alongside former teammate Phillip Cocu during broadcasts of Serie A matches on Fox Sports Asia.

In November 2013 Ruud was inducted into the Dutch Football Hall Of Fame by current Feyenoord manager Ronald Koeman.[5] On May 2nd 2014 it was announced that Ruud would be taking over as head coach at AEK Athens following Marcelo Bielsa's resignation due to health concerns.

Ricardo Carvalho is a Portuguese international footballer who plays as a centre back for the Spanish club Real Madrid and the Portugal national team. Ricardo Carvalho started his career at his hometown club Amarante before moving to Porto in 1997.

He won three Primeira Liga titles with Porto, two Taça de Portugal trophies, and one Inter-Cities Fairs Cup during his time there. 

After winning the 2004 Champions League with Porto, he joined Real Madrid where he has since won numerous honors including four La Liga titles and two UEFA Champions Leagues crowns.

In the 2014–15 season, he helped Portugal win their first-ever European Championship medal after playing in all six of their matches en route to the final in France. 

Ricardo Carvalho was named captain of Portugal by new manager Fernando Santos following Euro 2016 qualifying campaigns which saw them top Group A ahead of Hungary and Croatia on goal difference despite not scoring any goals between them.

He announced his retirement from international football on 25 November 2017 following an unsuccessful World Cup qualification campaign for Portugal.

This followed reports that he had been omitted from Vicente del Bosque's squad due to differences over tactical decisions made by Del Bosque during previous matches against Spain.

On 2 July 2018, it was announced that Ricardo would return to Alverca on a one-year contract until 30 June 2019.

Mata is a Spanish international midfielder who has played for both Real Madrid Castilla and Valencia. Mata first came to prominence with Real Oviedo, where he started out as an attacking midfielder before progressing through the youth ranks at the club.

After joining Valencia in 2007, Mata quickly established himself as one of the team's key players and helped them reach two La Liga titles during his tenure there. 

In 2011, Mata transferred to Chelsea where he continued to play an important role under then-manager Roberto Di Matteo; however, after seven seasons with Chelsea, he moved on to join Galatasaray in January 2018.

John Terry is a centre-back who has played for Chelsea and West Ham United. He is currently a captain for Chelsea. Terry made his debut for Chelsea in a Premier League match against Arsenal on 14 September 1998.

He went on to make over 350 appearances for Chelsea, winning Premier League titles in 2004, 2005, and 2006. Terry captained Chelsea to their first Champions League title in 2008.

Gianfranco Zola is a former Italian professional footballer who played as a forward. Zola began his career with Corrasi Oliena in 1980, and went on to play for Nuorese, Torres, and Napoli during his time in the professional game.

He is most noted for his time with Napoli, where he won the Serie A title in 1989 and 1990, and also represented Italy at the 1990 World Cup. Zola retired from professional football in 1993, and later served as the manager of Sampdoria and Lazio.

In 2018, he was awarded an OBE for his services to football. Gianfranco Zola is a former Italian professional footballer who played as a midfielder.

Peter Osgood was a professional footballer who played as a striker. Osgood was born in Clewer, Berkshire, England in 1947. Osgood began his career at Chelsea in 1966 and went on to make over 350 appearances for the club.

Osgood was part of the Chelsea team that won the League Championship in 1970 and the FA Cup in 1971. Osgood also won two UEFA Champions League medals with Chelsea. 

Osgood retired from professional football in 1981, having played for Chelsea in the final of the European Cup in 1970 and the UEFA Cup in 1976.

Osgood later worked as a football coach and television pundit. Osgood died of a heart attack on 1 March 2006 at the age of 59. Osgood was posthumously inducted into the Chelsea Hall of Fame in 2007. 

Osgood was Chelsea's captain and a key player in their successful period in the 1970s. Osgood played for Southampton and Norwich City before joining Philadelphia Fury in 1978.

Born in Paramaribo in Suriname, Hasselbaink started his career playing for local side GVO in 1984. He moved to Dutch side ZFC in 1986, where he would make his senior debut in 1988.

Hasselbaink spent four seasons with Dutch side AZ Alkmaar, scoring 46 goals in 46 appearances. He then moved to English side Chelsea in 1994, where he would score 49 goals in 101 appearances.

Peter Bonetti was born on September 27th, 1941 in Putney, England. He started his career at Worthing, before moving to Reading in 1961. 

He made his Chelsea debut in 1965 and went on to make over 400 appearances for the club over the course of a nine-year spell.

He retired from professional football in 1978, having won three League Championships and one FA Cup with Chelsea. He passed away on April 12th, 2020 at the age of 78 after a long battle with cancer. Peter Bonetti started his footballing career with Chelsea in 1959.

He scored the winning goal in England's World Cup victory in 1966. Bonetti then transferred to St. Louis Stars in 1975. He spent two years with the club before joining Dundee United in 1979. Bonetti retired from professional football in 1986. He has since gone on to coach at youth level.

Bonetti was made an honorary life member of Chelsea in 2006. He is currently a coach for the Italian national team. Bonetti was inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame in 2007.

Ray Wilkins was an English professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He started his career at Chelsea, before moving to Manchester United in 1984.

He spent two seasons at Milan before moving to Paris Saint-Germain in 1987. Wilkins won two Premier League titles and one FA Cup during his time at Manchester United, while also featuring for England at the 1986 World Cup.

Bobby Tambling was a Chelsea striker who played for the club from 1959 to 1970. Tambling was a prolific goalscorer during his time with Chelsea, netting 164 goals in 302 appearances.

Tambling was also a regular for England, playing 43 times and scoring 17 goals. Tambling retired from professional football in 1974, but continued to play for non-league sides until 1982.

Tambling was inducted into the Chelsea Hall of Fame in 2009. Tambling is currently a commentator for Sky Sports. 

Tambling was born in 1941 and passed away in 2014 at the age of 81. Bobby Tambling made his professional debut with Crystal Palace in 1970 and went on to play 68 games for the club.

Tambling left Palace in 1973 to join Cork Celtic and went on to make 82 appearances for the club. Tambling moved to Waterford in 1978 and spent one season with the club before moving to Shamrock Rovers. 

Tambling spent one season with Shamrock Rovers before returning to Cork City. Tambling retired from playing in 1979 and went on to manage Cork Celtic for two seasons.

Tambling later managed Crosshaven F.C. before retiring from management in 1990. Tambling is currently the assistant manager of Cork City. Bobby Tambling was a very talented footballer and is now considered one of the greatest League of Ireland players of all time.

Gianluca Vialli was born in Cremona, Italy in 1964. Vialli started his career with Pizzighettone before joining Cremonese in 1978. Vialli spent the majority of his career with Sampdoria, appearing 223 times and scoring 85 goals.

Vialli was a successful striker, winning two Serie A titles and a European Cup with Sampdoria. Vialli also represented Italy at international level, winning the World Cup in 1990 and the European Championship in 1992. Vialli passed away in London, England in 2023, aged 58.

Vialli was a Juventus player from 1992 to 1996, where he won the Serie A title twice. He then moved to Chelsea, where he won the Premier League title in his first season and the Champions League in his second. Vialli remained at Chelsea until 1999, when he moved to Juventus.

Vialli won the Serie A title with Juventus in each of his three seasons at the club, and he also won the Champions League in his first season with them. 

Vialli then moved to Chelsea again, this time as manager, and he won the Premier League and Champions League in his first two seasons in charge.

Vialli left Chelsea for the final time in 2002, moving to Watford. He returned to Chelsea as assistant manager in 2019, and he will continue in that role until 2022. 

Vialli is also a former Italian international, making his debut in 1983 and playing 59 times for his country. Vialli is currently a pundit for Sky Sports, and he has also been involved in coaching the Italy national team.

Nevin joined Tranmere Rovers in 1992 and played for them until 1997. Nevin joined Kilmarnock in 1997 and played for them until 1998. Nevin retired from playing in 1998. Nevin has been a coach at Watford, Everton, and Chelsea.

Nevin has also been a television pundit for ITV. Nevin was made an OBE in the 2017 Queen's birthday honours. Pat Nevin was born in Scotland in December of 1958. Nevin began his football career playing for Motherwell in the Scottish Premier League.

Nevin was a member of the Scotland national team from 1982-1996, during which time he won a U-18 championship and a U-20 championship.

He has also worked as a scout for clubs including Reading and Chelsea. He has also played for Egham Town and Northwood. He has won several caps for the England national team.

He currently coaches the under-14s at Chelsea. He has also written a book about his experiences as a footballer.

Final Words

Chelsea Football Club is one of the most successful and iconic clubs in English football. Founded in 1905, the club has won more than 20 major trophies, including five Premier League titles, four FA Cups, two Champions Leagues, and the Europa League.
