Rúben Dias is a 25-year-old centre back who currently plays for Manchester City. Rúben Dias started his career at Estrela da Amadora before moving to Benfica in 2015.

Di María is a world-class attacking midfielder who has played for some of the biggest clubs in Europe, including Real Madrid and Juventus. Di María was born in Rosario, Argentina in 1988 and started his career with Torito before joining Rosario Central in 2005.

Di maría joined Benfica in 2007 where he made 76 appearances over three seasons before moving to Real Madrid at the end of 2010. He spent two years in Madrid before signing for Juventus ahead of the 2016–17 season.

Julian Draxler is a German attacking midfielder who currently plays for Benfica on loan from Paris Saint-Germain. 

Draxler made his professional debut with Schalke 04 in 2011 and has since spent time at several other clubs, most notably PSG where he won Ligue 1 and the French cup during his two seasons there.

Darwin Núñez is a Uruguayan striker who currently plays for Liverpool. He was born on 24 June 1999 in Artigas, Uruguay and has played for La Luz youth team.

In March 2018, he made his senior debut for Liverpool in the Premier League against Cardiff City and scored two goals in a 3-1 victory.

Axel Witsel was born on January 12, 1989 in Liège, Belgium. He started his career at RRC Vottem and then played for CS Visé before joining Standard Liège in 2006.

Yaremchuk is a striker who currently plays for Club Brugge. He started his career with Karpaty Lviv and spent six years with the club before signing for Dynamo Kyiv in 2012.

Rui Costa is the current 34th President of Benfica, having been in charge since 10 October 2021. 

He first came to prominence as a player with Sporting CP, winning two Primeira Liga titles and two Inter-Cities Fairs Cups with them before moving on to Valencia CF where he won another La Liga title in 2006.

After leaving Valencia, Costa joined Chelsea FC for £32 million but only managed four Premier League appearances before being loaned out to Atlético Madrid where he helped the club win their first-ever European Cup in 2014.

Odysseas Vlachodimos is a German-born goalkeeper who currently plays for Portuguese side Benfica. Odysseas spent time with Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart's youth teams before signing his first professional contract with the senior side in 2012.

José Augusto was born in Barreiro, Portugal in 1937. He began his career with Barreirense before joining Benfica in 1959. José Augusto was a prolific goalscorer for Benfica, scoring 163 goals in 344 appearances.
