Alan Varela is a 21-year-old Argentine central midfielder who currently plays for Boca Juniors. He made his senior debut with the club in 2017, and has since become an important part of their midfield.

Alan is known for his energy, passing ability and willingness to run forward from defence. He was named in Argentina's squad for the 2019 Copa America Centenario, but did not make any appearances during the tournament due to injury.

In 2018 he helped Boca finish as runners up in both la Liga (Argentina's top football league) and the Copa Libertadores (South American Club Championship). 

Alan is also a regular member of Argentina's Under-20 team, having played at every age group between U15s and U20s levels over the past two years.

Alan Varela was born on 5th October 1996 in Barcelona, Spain. He started his youth career at Barcelona's Luján academy and made his senior debut with Boca Juniors in 2012.

Mateo Retegui is a forward who currently plays for Tigre on loan from Boca Juniors. He began his career with River Plate, and then moved to Boca Juniors in 2017.

Mateo has represented Argentina at youth level, and was part of the team that won the U20 World Cup in 2017. His goalscoring record at senior level is impressive – he has scored 35 goals in 66 appearances so far.

Mateo is known for his pace and energy on the pitch, which makes him difficult to defend against. Mateo Retegui was born on February 10, 1996 in Avellaneda, Argentina. He started his career with River Plate before moving to Boca Juniors two years later.

At Boca Juniors, Retegui made 21 appearances and scored four goals during the 2018–19 season. On November 3rd of this year, Mateo joined Estudiantes on a loan deal until the end of the 2020–21 campaign pending international clearance from both clubs.

Paulo Díaz is a Chilean international footballer who currently plays for River Plate. Díaz began his career at Cobreloa and spent two seasons with the club before joining Italian side Audax Italiano in 2008.

He also had a brief spell with Palestino between 2010 and 2013. Diaz made his international debut for Chile in 2016 and has since played at the 2017 Confederations Cup, as well as representing his country at various Copa America tournaments.

In 2018, he helped River Plate win their eighth Uruguayan Primera División title and qualify for the 2019 Copa Libertadores group stage. 

A full-back by trade, Paulo Díaz can also play centre-back or defensive midfield if required; he has been described as "calm on the ball" with good positional sense and excellent passing ability both short and long distances out from his own box." 

Diego Simeone called him up to Argentina's squad to face Croatia in March 2018 but did not make an appearance due to injury. On 8 January 2019, Diaz was named captain of River Plate.

Diego Nicolás de la Cruz Arcosa was born on 1 June 1997 in Montevideo, Uruguay. De la Cruz is a midfielder for River Plate and has made over 100 appearances for the club since joining as an underage player in 2009.

He played at youth level for Liverpool Montevideo before making his senior debut with the team in 2015. Diego Nicolís de la Cruz won the Copa Libertadores with River Plate in 2017 and was also runners-up in the Recopa Sudamericana that same year.

The 25-year old midfielder is currently contracted to River Plate until 2021 Nicolás de la Cruz is a Uruguayan footballer who currently plays for River Plate in Argentina. He has represented Uruguay at various youth levels, including the Under-17 and U18 teams.

He made his senior international debut in 2015, and has since played 26 times for the nation, scoring five goals. De la Cruz was signed by Liverpool Montevideo in 2015 but left to join River Plate in 2017.

Santiago Hezze is a young midfielder who was born in Argentina and currently plays for River Plate. Santiago has had an impressive start to his professional career, playing regularly for River Plate and making several appearances for the Argentina U20 team.

His performances have caught the eye of some top European clubs, with Barcelona reportedly being particularly interested in signing him up. It's still early days but if he continues developing at the rate he is then Santiago could be one of Argentinian football's most promising stars of tomorrow.

Keep an eye out on this guy – he could be a big player in years to come. He is a versatile midfielder who can play in any of the three midfield positions. He made his debut for Huracán in 2020 and has since become an important player for the club. 

His performances have seen him receive plaudits from both fans and pundits, with many predicting great things for him in the future.

Santiago is known for his hardworking attitude on and off the pitch, which has resulted in him being rewarded with several award nominations over the years. Hezze is currently contracted to Huracán until 2024, meaning that he will continue to be a key part of their squad moving forward.

Agustín Rossi is a goalkeeper who currently plays for Boca Juniors. He began his career with Chacarita Juniors before moving to River Plate in 2016. 

In 2017, he helped River Plate win the Argentine Primera Division title and was named The Best Goalkeeper of the Year by Uruguayan media outlet El País de Chile.

Rossi has also appeared for Argentina at U-17 and U-20 level, making three appearances each between 2014 and 2016 respectively.

He made his full international debut for Argentina on 6 November 2018 in a friendly against Bolivia, keeping two clean sheets in what was seen as a successful performance by coach Jorge Sampaoli.

Agustín Rossi is married to model Luciana Giménez and they have one child together.[2] Rossi is a versatile defender who has played for several clubs in Argentina.

Santiago Simón is a young Argentine winger who currently plays for River Plate. Santiago was born on June 13th, 2002 in José C. Paz, Argentina and has since played for several youth teams across his country before making the move to Europe at the age of 18.

He made his professional debut with River Plate during the 2016/17 season and has since enjoyed some success with the club, including winning two league titles (2016, 2017) as well as reaching the Copa Libertadores semi-finals in 2018. 

Outside of football, Santiago is also an active participant in various charity events and campaigns aimed at helping disadvantaged children around South America.

In 2019 he announced that he would be retiring from professional football at the end of this season after spending three years with River Plate - a decision which fans have hailed as deserved recognition for one of Argentina's most promising young talents.

Martín Ojeda is a Argentine winger who currently plays for Orlando City in the MLS. He made his professional debut with Atlético Tucumán in 2018, and has since represented Estudiantes de La Plata, Independiente del Valle and Club Atlético Lanús.

Martín Ojeda was part of the Argentina Under-20 national team that reached the final of the 2017 U-20 World Cup, where they were beaten by France. 

Martin Ojeda was born on 27 November 1998 in Gualeguaychú, Argentina. He began his career playing for local side Estudiantes de La Plata before moving to Independiente del Valle in 2016.

In January 2019 he joined Club Atlético Lanús on loan until the end of the season. On 10 July 2019 he signed a five-year contract with Orlando City SC as their first ever homegrown player He is a versatile midfielder that has played for Ferro Carril Oeste and Racing Club. 

He was loaned to Huracán in 2018, before joining Godoy Cruz the following year.

Ojeda made his professional debut with Orlando City in 2020 but did not feature again after being released at the end of the season. The 29-year-old Martín is currently on loan with Godoy Cruz from Racing Club.

Facundo Buonanotte is an attacking midfielder who currently plays for Brighton & Hove Albion. He was born in Argentina and started his career with River Plate before moving to Brighton in January 2017.

Facundo has represented Argentina at youth level, but is yet to make his full international debut. In terms of footballing skills, Facundo can be very dangerous down the left flank or behind the front three, as he possesses excellent dribbling and passing abilities.

With a bright future ahead of him, Facundo will hope to continue playing at a high level and help Brighton achieve their goal of promotion back to the Premier League. 

Facundo Buonanotte is a talented Argentine footballer who has played for clubs in his homeland and England.

Facundo started his career at Rosario Central, before moving to Brighton & Hove Albion in 2022. He made his international debut that year with Argentina U20s. 

In 2020, Facundo was part of the Argentinian squad that won the Copa America Centenario. After helping Rosario Central win their second consecutive league title in 2021, Facundo signed for Brighton on a permanent deal later that year.

Facondo is an attacking midfielder who can play anywhere across the front three positions, as well as at center back or even up top on occasion; he’s also very effective when running behind the opposition defense and creating chances for teammates himself. 

With 39 apps (four goals) to date in his senior career, it seems likely that Facundo will add to this tally over time with continued playing time at either club or country level – we look forward to seeing what he produces next.

Ezequiel Barco is a 21-year old attacking midfielder who currently plays for River Plate on loan from Atlanta United. Born in Argentina, Barco spent time with numerous youth clubs before joining River Plate's senior team in 2017.

Known for his speed and dribbling skills, Ezequiel has made several appearances for the Argentina under-20 national team and was also part of their squad at the 2018 FIFA World Cup where he scored one goal in Colombia's 3–1 win over Japan in the group stage.

In June 2018 it was announced that Atlanta United had signed Barco to a season long loan deal, making him eligible to play in MLS games starting July 8th against LA Galaxy.

After impressing during preseason, Barco made his debut for Atlanta United as a second half substitute against Chicago Fire on July 22nd.

Lucas Janson is a 28-year old Argentine left winger who currently plays for Vélez Sarsfield. Lucas started his career with Rosario Central before moving to Velez Sarsfield in 2016.

He has played 46 times for the Argentina national team, making his debut in 2015 and scoring one goal. In 2018, Lucas was named the best player of the Apertura tournament by La Nación newspaper and he also won both the Golden Boot and Platinum Ball awards at that same event.

Outside of football, Lucas works as an advertising executive and he is frequently seen modelling clothing brands such as Tommy Hilfiger or Armani Exchange throughout Argentina and Brazil Lucas Janson is a professional footballer who currently plays for Tigre in the Argentinian Primera División.

He made his debut with the club in 2012 and has since played over ninety games, scoring fifteen goals. Lucas was born in England but moved to Argentina when he was young and started playing football there. 

He had trials with several clubs before signing up with Tigre. Lucas has represented both Argentina at youth level and also country of his birth, England, at international level.

In 2018 he joined Toronto FC on loan from Tigre but only lasted until the end of the season after sustaining an injury which kept him out for most of it. 

Lucas re-signed for Tigre ahead of the 2019 season where he will continue to play as they battle against relegation from Primera División.

Pablo Solari is a forward for River Plate, and he has been with the club since the age of 16. On 22 March 2001, Pablo was born in Arizona, Argentina. He stands at 1.78 metres tall and weighs 102 kilograms (225 pounds).

Pablo started his youth career with Club Rumbo a Vélez before joining River Plate in 2015. In total, Solari has made 66 appearances for River Plate scoring 11 goals.

Including one in this year's Copa Libertadores final victory over Independiente from San Lorenzo de Almagro on 18 May 2019 which secured their place in the 2020-21 season's edition of South America's premier club tournament as well as being named man of the match by Colombian referee Wilmar Roldan.

Pablo also represented Argentina at U20 level but did not make an appearance for them at any major tournaments. Aspiring to become a professional footballer himself when he grows up,[6] Solari dreams of representing either Argentina or Mexico internationally one day.

Sebastian Villa is a Colombian midfielder who currently plays for Boca Juniors. Villa made his professional debut with Millonarios in 2015, before joining Boca Juniors in 2017.

He has played at both youth and senior levels for Colombia, winning the South American Youth Championship in 2013 and the Copa America Centenario Tournament last year. 

In addition to playing football, Villa is also a keen photographer and model; he has featured on covers of magazines such as GQ Latino and FHM Latin America.

Oscar Exequiel Zeballos is a 20-year-old Argentine winger who currently plays for Boca Juniors. Zeballos was born in La Banda, Argentina on 24 April 2002 and began playing football at a young age.

He made his professional debut with River Plate in 2015 before joining Boca Juniors the following year. Zeballos has represented Argentina at youth level and played two matches for the senior team in 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Uruguay and Paraguay.

On club level, he has won two league titles with River Plate (2015–16) and one with Boca Juniors (2018).

Luca Orellano was born on March 22, 2000 in Francisco Álvarez, Argentina. Luca is a right winger who currently plays for River Plate of the Argentine Primera División.

Luca has made 14 appearances and scored one goal for River Plate so far this season. Luca's father played professional football in Argentina, while his mother also competed at a high level as an equestrian rider before giving birth to him.

At just 18 years old, Luca represented his country at the U17 World Cup where he helped them reach the semifinals before losing to Brazil by a score of 3-1 after extra time. After impressing with River Plate during their pre-season preparations,Luca signed a new contract with the club that will keep him at La Bombonera until 2021.

Facundo Farías is an attacking midfielder who currently plays for Colón. He was born in Argentina on August 28th, 2002 and has been playing football since he was a child.

Facundo Farías made his professional debut with Huracán Boca Juniors in 2015 after impressing during a trial period the previous year. 

In 2018, Facundo Farías helped Colón reach the Copa Libertadores semi-finals where they lost to River Plate 4-1 on aggregate despite dominating possession throughout both legs of the tie.

The 20-year old has also represented his country at youth level and scored two goals during appearances for the U20 side earlier this year. 

Facundo Farías is a midfielder who currently plays for Corinthians Santa Fe in the Argentine Primera División. He has also played for Colón, where he became a key member of their squad during their 2017-2019 season.

Facundo Farías was born on 25 July 1995 in Rosario, Argentina. He started playing football at an early age and progressed through the ranks of his local club, Escuela de Fútbol UNL. 

After impressing with his performances for UNL, Facundo Farías moved to Serie A side Corinthians in 2017 where he made 56 appearances and scored 10 goals over the course of two seasons.

In 2019, Facundo Farías joined newly promoted Colón where he will hope to help them return to La Liga after narrowly missing out last season. 

His goal scoring record suggests that this may be achievable – he has already bagged ten goals in eleven games this campaign. 

With over 200 senior international appearances under his belt (including 46 caps for Argentina), FacundoFaría is one of the most experienced players in Argentine football and will be looking to lead his country into World Cup qualification next year as they attempt to become world champions once again.

Máximo Perrone is a young midfielder currently playing for Vélez Sarsfield. He joined the club in 2011, and has since made over 100 appearances for them.

His best season to date was 2016/17 when he scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists in 37 games. Máximo is known for his versatility – he can play anywhere on the pitch, including as a striker or at left back if required.

He has represented Argentina at youth level, and has been called up to their senior squad several times but never played a game for them due to injury problems.

 He is rumoured to be joining Barcelona as part of their new academy set-up next year Máximo Perrone is a talented Argentine footballer who has spent his entire senior career with Vélez Sarsfield.

The midfielder has been capped by Argentina at youth levels, but hasn't yet made his debut for the senior team. He is known for his excellent passing ability and flair in midfield, which has helped him rack up an impressive number of assists over the course of his career.

Despite being just 24 years old, it's likely that Perrone will continue to play football well into the future; he certainly has plenty of quality left in him.

Ezequiel Fernández is a midfielder who currently plays for Tigre. On loan from Boca Juniors, he has been a key player for the team this season. 

Ezequiel was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on 25 July 2002 and started playing football at an early age with local side Atlético Nuñez before joining Boca Juniors' youth system in 2006.

After impressing during his time with the U-20s, Fernández made his senior debut for Boca Juniors against River Plate in November 2013 and went on to make 10 appearances that season as they finished 3rd in La Liga table. 

In 2014/15, Fernández played 33 games across all competitions as Boca reached their first Copa Libertadores final since 2004 but were defeated 1-0 by Corinthians.

He also scored his first goal for the club in that campaign against Rosario Central after setting up Fernando Gago's opener – becoming only the second Argentine ever (after Diego Maradona) to score goals both domestically and internationally while still being eligible to represent their national team at under-21 level. 

Ezequiel's form continued into 2015/16 where he started 31 of 34 league matches - including scoring twice against Independiente at home - helping propel Boca back into contention for title until injury ruled him out late stages of season.

Subsequently missing semi-final clash against São Paulo which saw Jorge Sampaoli take over coaching duties for Chile during their World Cup qualifying campaign Injury once again denied Ezejuel more regular football last year however.

He featured prominently throughout qualification rounds eventually leading Bosnia & Herzegovina 2–1 victory away from home allowing them top spot ahead of Brazilians Cruzeiro. 

With one match remaining eliminating hosts Uruguay on away goals rule thereby earning promotion back to Primera Division.

Diego Valoyes is a Colombian winger who currently plays for Argentine club Talleres. Diego Valoyes made his debut for Colombia in 2018 at the age of just 18 and has since gone on to make 34 appearances, scoring six goals.

In addition to his prowess as a footballer, Diego Valoyes is also known for his charismatic personality and charity work with UNICEF. With 36 international caps under his belt, it's fair to say that Diego Valoyes is one of the most experienced players in Colombia's squad going into the 2022 World Cup finals.

As part of their preparations for the World Cup, Colombia will face Venezuela, Japan and Saudi Arabia in Group C this year before taking on Uruguay in their opening fixture in Russia next month.

After impressing during his time at Racing, Alcaraz moved to Club Atlético Lanús in January 2018 for a fee of £1 million (€1.4 million). He has made 19 appearances for Lanús so far this season and scored one goal – against River Plate in the Copa Argentina semi-final round of fixtures earlier this year.

Carlos' younger brother Facundo also plays football professionally and is currently playing for Pontevedra CF in the Segunda División B Mexican league Carlos Alcaraz is a professional footballer who plays for Racing Club. 

Born in Villa Elisa, Argentina on April 11th 1996, Carlos began his youth career with Deportes Infantiles de Villa Elisa before moving to Racing Club in 2017.

After impressing during spells on loan at CA Boca Juniors and Lanus, Villagra made the move to River Plate permanently in January of 2016. In total, he has made 49 appearances for River Plate since joining them from Argentinos Juniors – scoring six goals along the way.

Villagra represented Argentina at under-17 level before being called up to their senior squad for World Cup Qualifiers against Peru and Chile earlier this year (without playing). Francisco Ortega is a talented left-back who has been playing for Velez Sarsfield since 2016. He was born in Santa Rosa de Lima, Santa Fe, Argentina on March 19th 1999 and plays as a left-back for Velez Sarsfield.

Francisco Ortega has represented his country at U17 level before making his debut for the U20s in 2017 where he helped them to the Copa America semi finals. 

In 2018, Francisco Ortega made 32 appearances for Velez Sarsfield including 3 Copa America matches which saw him score 1 goal against Peru in the group stage and then netting 2 goals against.

Chile in the quarter-final stages of the competition before they eventually lost 4-2 on penalties despite leading 3-1 after 90 minutes thanks to an excellent individual performance from Ortega himself.

With some skillful dribbling and passing that created chances galore; this included one sublime strike from 30 yards out that arrowed into the top corner.

At international level, Francisco Orgeza has played 5 times for Argentina including their appearance at this year's FIFA World Cup where he started all 4 games but couldn't help them get past Sweden (0-1) or Nigeria (0-2). 

However, he was very impressive throughout – always putting in a shift defensively while also providing occasional quality balls forward which led to some dangerous attacks.

It will be interesting to see what kind of role he takes up going forwards now that Aguero and Higuain are no longer there.

He certainly showed glimpses of being something special. Outside of football, Francisco likes spending time with friends and family as well as watching films - preferably action movies although comedies are not entirely unknown either.

29. Sergio Barreto

Sergio Barreto is a young centre-back who has been with River Plate since he was just 16 years old. He made his first team debut in the Primera División Argentina in 2016, and quickly became a regular starter for the side.

In 2018, Sergio helped River Plate win their 19th title, scoring two goals during the season as well as helping to secure qualification for Europe for the first time in over 60 years. 

He is an Argentinian international and has represented his country at U17, U20 and senior levels; most recently being called up for 2019 World Cup qualifiers earlier this year.

Despite still having plenty of development left to do, Sergio is considered one ofRiver Plate's brightest prospects and looks set to be a mainstay of their defense for many years to come.

Sergio Barreto is a Colombian international footballer who plays as a forward for the Argentine club Independiente. He has also played for Colombia at the youth level, appearing in the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup and the 2013 Copa América.

Sergio Barreto began his career with hometown side Independiente, making his senior debut in 2008. After scoring 29 goals over six seasons with the club, he joined Serie A outfit Cagliari on loan in January 2017. 

He made nine appearances before returning to Independiente two months later. Sergio Barreto caught the eye of several top European clubs during his time at Independiente, but opted to stay with them after rejecting an offer from Barcelona in 2016.

However, he was lured back to Europe by Fiorentina ahead of the 2017–18 season; however, injuries limited him to just one appearance for Florence before being released at the end of that season following their relegation from Serie A. 

On 10 April 2022, it was announced that Sergio Barreto had signed for Argentine Primera División side Atlético de Rafaela on a three-year contract until 30 June 2024.

Emanuel Coronel was born on 1 February 1997 in Concepción, Argentina. He is a right-back and has played for several clubs around the world including River Plate and Club Atlético Independiente.

Emanuel Coronel made his debut for River Plate in November 2014 against Lanús. In 2018, he joined Club Atlético Independiente on a season-long loan deal from River Plate.

Emanuel Coronel won the 2017–18 Argentine Primera División title with River Plate after they defeated Boca Juniors 3–1 in the final. Emanuel Coronel is a versatile attacking midfielder who has been with Banfield since his youth career.

He made his senior debut in 2018 and has scored six goals in 54 appearances for the club so far. Emanuel is known for his creativity and passing ability, which makes him a key player on the pitch.

Lautaro Giannetti was born in San Nicolás, Argentina on 13 November 1993. He began his career with Argentine club Estudiantes de La Plata before moving to Europe to join Bologna in 2013.

Gianetti made 25 appearances for the Emilian side and scored one goal before joining Racing Santander prior to the 2015/16 season. Gianetti made 27 appearances for Racing over two seasons and helped them win the Copa del Rey in 2017/18, their first trophy since 1975/76.

In June 2018, Gianetti joined Olympiacos FC on a three-year deal after agreeing to a free transfer from Racing Santander following their relegation from La Liga that season He is a versatile player who can play as either an attacking midfielder or forward. Germán Guiffrey is a young centre-back who currently plays for Gimnasia LP. He has previously played for clubs such as Racing Club, Atletico Rafaela and River Plate.

Germán Guiffrey was born in Concordia, Argentina on 31 December 1997 and is 1.82 metres tall. He started his career with Racing Club before moving to Atletico Rafaela and then River Plate later in his youth development years.

Alexis Maldonado is a young, talented defender who has played for River Plate and Racing Club. He started his career at River Plate before moving on to Racing Club in 2017.

Maldonado was part of the Argentina U20 team that won the FIFA World Cup in 2015. In December 2017, he signed with Premier League side Everton FC on a four-and-a-half year contract.

Alexis Maldonado is known for being strong in the air and solid defensively; he will be an important player for Everton FC this season as they look to consolidate their place in the top half of the table.

Alexis Maldonado is a defender who currently plays for Banfield in the Argentine Primera División. He has played for the team since 2016 and has made 76 appearances overall. Maldonado started his career with Banfield's youth team, making over 100 appearances before breaking into the senior squad.

He has had a successful time at the club, helping them to two league titles and being named Argentina's player of the year in 2018. Maldonado is also known for his versatility; he can play both as a central defender or on the left-hand side of defence. 

This flexibility makes him an important member of Banfield's backline, able to help protect their goal while also providing attacking options from that area of the pitch.

With several years still ahead of him, Maldonado looks set to continue playing top-level football and contribute greatly to Banfield's success moving forward.

Nazareno Colombo is a centre-back who currently plays for Defensa y Justicia. He was born on 20 March 1999 in Quilmes, Argentina and he is 1.84 metres tall.

In 2016, he made his debut for the Argentinian national team and has since played at under-20 level as well as representing their U23 side. 

Nazareno Colombo started his career with River Plate before moving to Defensa y Justicia in 2018 where he has appeared in 52 matches across all competitions so far Nazareno Colombo is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Argentine club Estudiantes.

He made his senior debut in 2019, and has also played for Defensa y Justicia on loan. Colombo started playing football at an early age, joining local side Club Atlético San Lorenzo de Almagro when he was just six years old. 

After progressing through the youth ranks at San Lorenzo, Colombo joined Estudiantes in 2010. Since making his senior debut in 2019, Colombo has quickly established himself as one of Estudiantes’ most important players - helping them to win the Copa Argentina title that season and qualify for Europe for the first time since 2007-08.

Nazareno is also a regular member of Argentina's U20 team, having represented his country at various levels up until now including 2018 World Cup qualifiers earlier this year where they reached the semi-finals before losing to Brazil 5-0 on aggregate (although they qualified as runners-up). 

Despite being relatively young still - only 24 years old - it seems likely that Nazareno will continue playing top level football well into his thirties; with plenty of experience under his belt already, there’s no doubt he would be able to succeed at any club he moved to next.

Diego Armando Maradona is a retired Argentine professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder and second striker. 

He was part of the Argentina national team that won the 1986 FIFA World Cup, where he became known for his outrageous goals and on-field antics.

After retiring from playing football, Maradona had several business ventures, including owning a chain of pizza restaurants in Argentina and Italy. 

In January 2019, it was announced that Maradona had been diagnosed with cancer and would be receiving treatment abroad.

Maradona died on 25 November 2020 at the age of 60 after succumbing to his disease. A controversial figure both on and off the pitch throughout his career, Diego Armando Maradona will always be remembered for being one of the greatest players in history.

 Diego Maradona is one of the most iconic footballers of all time and was a key figure in Argentina's World Cup-winning team in 1986.

Maradona also played for Napoli, Barcelona, Boca Juniors, and Atlético Madrid during his international career, winning numerous honors including five league titles with Boca Juniors.

 After retiring from playing professionally he embarked on a successful managerial career, taking charge of Deportivo Mandiyú, Racing Club, and Al-Wasl before joining Dorados de Sinaloa last year. 

In September 2019 he was appointed manager of Gimnasia de La Plata following the sacking of Eduardo Berizzo. 

With Argentinian sides now being led by former players such as Gerardo Martino and Lionel Messi it is likely that Maradona will only ever be remembered for his achievements,

While representing his country rather than any individual clubs or stints at the international level afterward.

With 57 appearances and 23 goals under his belt so far during his senior career, it's clear that Julián has what it takes to be successful at the highest level of football possible. 

River Plate and spent six years with the club before joining Argentine giants Boca Juniors in 2017. Boca, scoring 19 goals in 29 appearances during his first season with the club.

In 2018, Álvarez joined the international side Argentina U20 and helped them to win the Copa América title that year. 

He then transferred to Argentina U23 where he continued to be a prominent player, netting 9 times in 17 appearances since joining the team earlier this year. 

Julián is currently contracted to River Plate until 2021 but has been linked with several top clubs around Europe including Barcelona and Bayern Munich throughout his career so far - we'll have to wait and see what happens next.

Almendra was born on February 11th, 2000 in San Francisco Solano, Argentina. He started playing football at a very young age and quickly became one of the best players in his region. Almendra joined Boca Juniors from Argentinos Juniors in 2016 and has made an immediate impact upon joining the team.

His skills as a midfielder have seen him become one of the most important members of Coach Víctor Monti's squad.

He made his international debut for Argentina in 2006 and went on to become their all-time leading scorer with 101 goals. In 2014, he helped Argentina reach the World Cup final but they were subsequently beaten by Brazil.

After further success at club level with Atlético Madrid and Manchester City, Sergio Agüero was named PFA Player of the Year in 2016. At 28 years old, Sergio Agüero still has plenty to offer as he looks to add to his record tally of 41 international goals.

Bullaude made his senior debut for Feyenoord in March 2018 against Excelsior Rotterdam and has since scored three goals in 16 appearances. In addition to playing football, Bullaude also enjoys boxing and track cycling. 

He is one of several young players that Feyenoord are hoping can help them challenge for trophies this season; including defender Jordy Clasie and midfielders Davinson Sánchez and Steven Berghuis .

He made his debut for Maipú in 2016 and has gone on to make 58 appearances and score 15 goals over the past two seasons. Ezequiel is known as an attacking midfielder, capable of both creating chances for others and scoring himself. 

Feyenoord are the latest team to have shown interest in him, but it remains to be seen whether they can sign him before the end of the season.

Final Words

. . The Argentine Primera División is one of the most prestigious football leagues in South America, and it has produced some of the best players in history.

Some of the all-time greats include Diego Maradona, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. These three players have dominated the division for many years, and they will be remembered as legends of Argentine football forever.
