The Chile National Football Team is one of the most celebrated teams in South America and beyond. Representing Chile in men’s international football competitions, La Roja (The Red One) is controlled by the Federación de Fútbol de Chile, which was established in 1895.

Zamorano is a Chilean international footballer who played as a striker. He started his career with Cobresal in 1983 and later spent spells playing for St.

Gallen and Cobreandino on loan. Zamorano made 56 appearances for St. Gallen during his time at the club, scoring 34 goals in the process. He also featured for Chile at the senior level, appearing in 45 games and netting 22 times between 1985 and 1988.

After leaving Switzerland, Zamorano signed for Spanish side Racing Santander before retiring from football at the age of 33 due to injury concerns caused by concussions sustained during his earlier years as a professional player. 

Zamora now works as an ambassador for Concussion Australia and has spoken out about head injuries in sport to raise awareness amongst players and fans alike Iván Zamorano was a Chilean international footballer who played for Sevilla and Real Madrid.

He is best known in his homeland for his time at Colo-Colo, where he won 14 caps and scored 8 goals over three seasons. Zamorano represented Chile at the 2000 Olympic Games, helping them to fifth place in their group stage before being eliminated by Brazil in the quarterfinals. 

After failing to win any silverware during his first spell with Real Madrid, Zamorano enjoyed greater success with Inter Milan, winning back-to-back Champions League titles as well as Serie A crowns in 2001 and 2002.

In 2003, he rejoined Colo-Colo but retired from football shortly after due to injury problems.

Diego Valdés Contreras is an attacking midfielder who currently plays for América. He was born in Chile, and started his career with local club Puente Alto before moving to Europe to sign for Udinese in 2013.

He spent two seasons at the Serie A club, scoring six goals in 41 appearances before joining Atlético Madrid in 2015. 

Valdés made 36 appearances for Atlético Madrid, scoring four goals as they won La Liga title and reached the Champions League final against Barcelona; he also played a key role in their Copa del Rey win that season.

In 2017, Valdés joined MLS side Atlanta United FC on a three-year deal; he helped them reach the playoffs each of his first two seasons there but fell out of favour this season and has been released by the team pending a transfer away from MLS or another club signing him during 2019 winter transfer window.

Carlos Reinoso is a retired Chilean footballer who played as an midfielder. He starred for Audax Italiano during his youth career and went on to play for América in the 1970s before joining Deportivo Neza later on.

He made 34 appearances for Chile between 1966-1977 and was also part of the team that finished third at the Copa America in 1976. After retiring from football, he took up management positions with several clubs including Palestino and Santiago Wanderers among others.

Reinoso was honoured with a life membership by both Audax Italiano and América after announcing his retirement from professional football in 2014 aged 77 years old Carlos Reinoso is a Mexican football player who has played for several clubs throughout his career, most notably Atlas and Tigres UANL.

Carlos Reinoso began his professional career with América in 1981 before moving onto Tampico the following year. He had a successful spell at Atlante between 1999 and 2000, helping them to promotion to La Liga during that time. 

After spending two seasons with León, he signed for Veracruz in 2004 where he spent six years before joining San Luis in 2011.

He rejoined Tigres UANL in 2016 after leaving Veracruz once again and has since made over 100 appearances for the club across all competitions including the Copa MX and Apertura championships this season; providing vital goals along the way as they compete domestically and internationally. 

Carlos Reinoso will be 38 years old at the end of next season which means it's likely he'll call time on his playing days soon afterwards - but we're sure there are many more great things still ahead for him.

Sánchez is a Chilean international footballer who currently plays for French club Marseille. Sánchez was born in Tocopilla, Chile in 1988 and began his career with Universidad Católica before moving to Italian side Udinese in 2005.

After two successful seasons at Udinese, Sánchez joined Premier League giants Manchester United on a five-year deal worth £33 million but failed to make an impact during his time there and returned back to Europe with Barcelona in 2013 where he won La Liga the following season as well as the Copa del Rey.

In 2017, after months of speculation linking him with several top European clubs including Atlético Madrid and Chelsea, Sanchez transferred to Marseille for an undisclosed fee believed to be around €60 million (£52 million). 

A regular starter for both Chile and the country's national team since making his debut aged 18, Sánchez has scored over 50 goals throughout his professional career including 25 league goals combined between Manchester United (four) Barcelona (three) and Atlético Madrid (one).

Having been part of three Copas América squads – 2007, 2011 and 2015 – Sanchez helped Chile reach their first ever final at the tournament held in Brazil this year where they were narrowly defeated by Argentina.

Currently acting as captain of Marseille Sánchez is often described as one of the best forwards in world football being named Footballer of the Year twice by Spanish sports newspaper AS.

Diego Rubio is a Chilean international footballer who plays for Colorado Rapids in the MLS. He began his career at Universidad Católica, before moving to Colo-Colo in 2010.

In 2014 he joined Sandnes Ulf of Norway's Tippeligaen, where he spent two seasons before joining Colorado Rapids in 2016. A prolific striker with good technique and footwork, Rubio has scored over 50 goals throughout his career both domestically and internationally.

Diego Rubio was part of Chile's squad that reached the quarterfinals of the 2017 Copa América Centenario, their best performance at an international tournament to date; they were eliminated by Argentina in the quarterfinals stage however.

Sergio Livingstone was a goalkeeper who played for Chile at the 1960 and 1962 World Cups. He also played for Spanish club Real Madrid, where he won two La Liga championships in 1959 and 1960 as well as being named Zamora Trophy winner both years.

In 1961, Livingstone moved to Brazil to play for Botafogo but only stayed there for one season before returning home to Chilean side Colo-Colo. 

After retiring from playing professionally, Livingstone served as Goalkeeping Coach of Universidad de Chile between 1984 and 1991; during this time they reached the final of Copa América 1986 which they lost on penalties against Argentina's Boca Juniors).

Sergio Livingstone died aged 92 after a long illness in Santiago, Chile. Sergio Livingstone was born in 1936, making him one of the oldest players ever to grace a professional football pitch. 

Sergio made his debut for Unión Española in the 1936-37 season and went on to make over 200 appearances for the club. 

After leaving Unión Española, Sergio signed for Racing Club where he became one of the most successful goalkeepers in Chilean history, winning three league titles and two Copa Chile trophies during his time at the club.

In 1957, Sergio transferred to Colo-Colo where he spent four seasons before retiring from playing professionally at the age of 36 years old. 

Since retirement, Sergio has worked as a commentator with various Chilean television networks and also served as technical director for Universidad Católica between 1988 and 1990.

He was part of the Chile team that won Copa América in 2015 and 2016, as well as being runners-up at the FIFA Confederations Cup in 2017. Claudio Bravo is known for his reflexes and agility, which have led to him being called "the best keeper in the world".

Vargas is a forward and winger who has played for Atlético Mineiro since 2011. Vargas was born in Santiago, Chile in 1989. He started his career at Internacional de Renca before moving to Puerto Montt and Cobreloa.

Francisco Sierralta is a Chilean footballer who currently plays for Watford in the English Premier League. Sierralta made his professional debut with Universidad Católica at the age of 18 and has since played for clubs such as Colo-Colo, River Plate, Udinese and Barcelona B.

Valdés was a Chilean attacking midfielder who played for Colo-Colo and Unión Española during his career. Valdés won the Chilean title with Colo-Colo in 1961 and the Spanish title with Unión Española in 1970.
