Tab Ramos is a Uruguayan-born midfielder who played for NC State and Miami before moving to Europe in 1995. Ramos enjoyed great success with Real Betis, winning two La Liga titles and the Copa del Rey twice during his time there.

He then moved to America to play for MetroStars, where he won another MLS Cup title in 2002. After retiring from playing professionally, Ramos has worked as a television pundit and coach at various levels of football around the world.

Víctor Ruiz is a Spanish centre-back who currently plays for Betis. He began his career at Barcelona, before moving to Espanyol in 2006. In 2008 he joined Cornellà and helped them win promotion to La Liga that season.

Cristian Tello was born on 11 August 1991 in Sabadell, Spain. He started his career playing for Can Rull before joining Barcelona in 2002. In 2008, he moved to Espanyol and played there until 2010.

Luis Aragonés was a Spanish footballer who played as a midfielder or forward. He is best known for playing for Real Madrid and winning several titles with the club, including the European Cup in 1960.

Aragonés also played for Oviedo, Betis, and Plus Ultra. He retired in 1964 and later served as manager of Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid. Aragonés died on 1 February 2014 at the age of 75. 

He was a national team player and participated in the 1958 World Cup and the 1962 European Championship.

Aragonés was inducted into the Spanish Football Hall of Fame in 2000. He was awarded the Gold Medal of the Order of the Arts and Letters by the French government in 2012. 

His son, José Aragonés, also played football. Luis Aragonés was a successful manager and player in the world of football. He was manager of Atlético Madrid from 1974 to 1978, before moving on to manage Betis and then Atlético Madrid again.

Aragonés is perhaps best known for his time at Barcelona, where he led the team to two Champions League titles. He retired from playing in 1988, but continued to work in football as a manager. Aragonés died in 2016 at the age of 87.

Robert de Pinho de Souza was born on February 27, 1981 in Salvador, Brazil. He started his career with Coritiba before moving to Botafogo-SP and then Servette.

He made his debut for São Caetano in 2002 before joining Spartak Moscow on loan in 2003. He then moved to Kawasaki Frontale on loan in 2004. He rejoined PSV in 2006 and stayed with the club until 2007.

He then moved to Betis in 2007 where he continued to play until 2013. Robert then moved to Atlético Mineiro in 2013 and retired from professional football in 2016. He has won 34 caps for Brazil and scored 5 goals.

Robert is currently the sporting director of Atlético Mineiro. Robert joined Al-Ittihad Jeddah in 2007 and played for them until 2010. Robert then joined Monterrey for two seasons, where he tallied 16 goals in 12 appearances.

Hadžibegić is a former football player who played for Sarajevo and Real Betis. He later became a manager, most notably with Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2016, he was appointed manager of Valenciennes in the French second division.

Hadžibegić has led Valenciennes to second place in the division, just one point behind Ligue 1 side Monaco. 

Hadžibegić has also won the Coupe de France with Valenciennes in 2017. He is expected to continue his managerial career in Europe after leaving Valenciennes at the end of the season.

Hadžibegić was born in Sarajevo, FPR Yugoslavia in 1957. He played for Sarajevo from 1966 to 1976 and later played for Real Betis from 1985 to 1987. 

He then moved to France to play for Sochaux from 1994 to 1995 and Toulouse from 1995 to 1996. He retired from professional football in 1996. Hadžibegić was appointed manager of Valenciennes in 2016.

Benjamín Zarandona was born on 2 March 1976 in Valladolid, Spain. Zarandona began his career with Valladolid B in 1994. He made his senior debut with Valladolid in the 1996 season and went on to play 30 games for the club.

Zarandona left Valladolid in 1998 to join Racing Santander. Zarandona spent four seasons with Racing Santander, making over 100 appearances for the club. Zarandona joined Getafe in 2002 and spent four seasons with the club.

Zarandona joined Real Madrid in 2006 and spent six years with the club. He left Real Madrid in 2012 to join Atlético Madrid. Zarandona retired from professional football in 2016. Benjamín Zarandona was born in Valladolid in 1995.

Michal Bílek is a Czech midfielder who has played for Sparta Prague and Real Betis. He was part of the Czech Republic's squad at the 1998 World Cup. Bílek has also played for the Czech Republic at Euro 2004 and the 2006 World Cup.

The Real Betis Balompié is a Spanish professional football club based in Seville, Andalusia. Founded in 1899, the club has played its home games at the Estadio Benito Villamarín since 1954.

The club’s main rivals are Sevilla FC and Atlético Madrid. The club was originally known as Atlético Betis and played in the regional leagues until 1921, when it was promoted to the Tercera División.
