Bayo is a forward who currently plays for Watford in the English Premier League. He made his debut for the club in 2016 and has since scored 11 goals in 57 appearances.

Bayo started his career with Stade d'Abidjan in Ivory Coast before moving to Spain to play for Racing Santander and Real Betis, respectively. He was loaned out to Granada CF during the 2017–18 season but failed to make an impact, which led Watford to sign him permanently that summer.

Bayo represented Ivory Coast at under-17 level before making his senior international debut in 2018 against Senegal, scoring one goal on his debut as part of a 2–1 victory.

Despite being born and raised in Daloa, Bayo grew up supporting Spanish side Atlético Madrid due to their former Ivorian player Radamel Falcao playing for them when he was young; this helped contribute towards Watford's decision to sign him despite limited first-team experience elsewhere.

Bayo is known as "El Confundido" (The Confused One) because of how often he changes positions on the pitch - something which has contributed towards him becoming a prolific finisher both at club level and internationally.
