Kevin De Bruyne is a 31-year-old Belgian midfielder who currently plays for Manchester City. Kevin De Bruyne started his career at KVV Drongen, before moving to Gent in 2005.

In 2008, he joined Genk and went on to make 97 appearances for the club over six seasons. De Bruyne made his international debut for Belgium in 2012 and has since gone on to represent them at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

He was named PFA Players' Player of the Year in 2017 and 2018, as well as being nominated for the Ballon d'Or both years; however.

John Brooks is a German-born defender who has played for Hertha BSC II and Benfica. At 6ft 4in, he is one of the tallest defenders in Europe and his strength and aerial ability make him an important part of any team.

John Brooks made his debut for Hertha BSC II in 2011 and went on to play 37 games over two seasons before joining Benfica in 2015.

Edin Džeko is a 36-year-old striker for Inter Milan. He was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and started his career with Željezničar. 

He has spent most of his professional career at Inter Milan where he has won numerous awards, including three Serie A titles and two Italian Cups.

In international competition, Džeko has represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at every level from youth to senior levels, making him one of the most capped players in their history. He is also an important member of the Inter squad who will compete in this year's UEFA Champions League tournament.

Edin Džeko was born on March 17th, 1986 in Sarajevo (Bosnia & Herzegovina),[4] to mother Selma (née Pecić) and father Safet Džeko.

From an early age, it was clear that Edin had footballing talent; after watching Manchester United play on TV as a youngster, he decided that he wanted to be like Paul Scholes when he grew up.

After leaving primary school,[9][10], young Džeko began his footballing journey by joining the local club Željezničar, before moving on to Dinamo Zagreb’s academy at the age of 16.

Following successful trials with both clubs, it wasn't long until Edin made his professional debut for Željezničar against FK Radnički Niš on October 18th, 2003 aged just 17 years old - scoring within minutes of coming off the bench.

 It would be another 3 years before Edin would score again for Željezničar but during this time he developed into one of Europe’s top strikers; finishing as a joint-top scorer during the 2005–06 season alongside Valencia’s David Villa.

The following season saw him join Italian giants Juventus FC on loan for 6 months but despite impressing throughout Italy, poor form led to Juve canceling.

Julian Draxler is a German attacking midfielder who currently plays for Benfica on loan from Paris Saint-Germain. 

Draxler made his professional debut with Schalke 04 in 2011 and has since spent time at several other clubs, most notably PSG where he won Ligue 1 and the French cup during his two seasons there.

Diego Benaglio is a goalkeeper who has played for several clubs in his career. He enjoyed some success with Grasshoppers, winning the Swiss Cup and Super League titles while at the club.

In 2007, he moved to Juventus where he made over 100 appearances before joining Manchester United in 2014. At Man Utd, Benaglio won two Premier League titles and an FA Cup during his time there.

Simon Kjær is a Danish centre-back who has played for AC Milan since 2017. Kjær originally joined FC Midtjylland in 2007 and made 19 appearances over two years before moving on to AC Milan.

At club level, Kjær has won three Danish Championships with FC Midtjylland and one Spanish La Liga title with Sevilla during his time in Spain as well as the Copa del Rey with both clubs. 

The defender also represented Denmark at youth international level, making his debut in 2006 aged just 16 years old.

Outside of football, Simon Kjær is a keen golfer and was part of Team Denmark’s successful campaign at the 2016 European Championship where they finished runners up behind Portugal – he also featured prominently in their victory against Sweden later that year. Niko Kovač is a former German footballer and current manager of Bundesliga side VFL Wolfsburg. He began his career with Hertha BSC, playing in the Bundesliga for them from 1990 to 1991.

Afterwards he had brief spells at Rapid Wedding and Hertha Zehlendorf before joining Bayern Munich in 1993 where he remained until 2001. 

He then spent two seasons with Borussia Dortmund, making a total of 291 appearances and scoring 16 goals during his time there before retiring at the end of 2004-05 season.

In 2009 he took over as head coach of Hannover 96, leading them to promotion to the Bundesliga in his first season but being sacked after just five months due to poor results.

This was followed by three years as assistant manager at Schalke 04 under Jens Keller before taking over as head coach at VFL Wolfsburg in January 2019.

Wout Weghorst is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a striker for Turkish club Beşiktaş and on loan from English side Burnley. He began his career at Dutch club NEO, before moving to Eredivisie giants Feyenoord in July 2011.

He made his debut for Feyenoord aged just 18 months later, scoring the winning goal in their 3–2 victory over NEC Nijmegen in the KNVB Cup final. 

Weghorst was named PFA Young Player of the Year following his season with Feyenoord and helped them win both the Eredivisie championship and the Johan Cruyff Shield (Dutch Supercup).

Bas Dost is a Dutch professional footballer who plays for Utrecht in the Netherlands, and formerly played for VfL Wolfsburg. Bas Dost was born on 31 May 1989 in Deventer, Netherlands.

Bas Dost started his playing career at CVV Germanicus before moving to Emmen in 2001 where he spent six seasons with the club. 

In 2007, Bas Dost joined Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg where he has since made over 200 appearances and won two Bundesliga titles (2011-12 and 2013-14).

Zvjezdan Misimović is a German attacking midfielder who has spent his entire professional career in Russia, playing for Dynamo Moscow and Krylia Sovetov Samara.

A versatile midfield player with experience at both the club and international level, Misimović was part of Germany's U-21 squad that reached the final of the 2006 European Championship.

Dženan Pejčinović was born in Munich, Germany on 15 February 2005. He is a forward and currently plays for VfL Wolfsburg. He made his debut for Bayern Munich in the 2012-13 season and has since appeared in a further 25 matches for the club.

Pejčinović has also represented Germany at U-17, U-19 and U-21 level. He has been described as a powerful and fast forward, with good technique and a strong aerial presence.

Jérôme Roussillon is a French left-back who currently plays for Union Berlin. Roussillon played youth football for Saint-Denis. Roussillon made his senior debut with Union Berlin in 2016.

Miroslav Karhan was born on 21 June 1976 in Hlohovec, Czechoslovakia. He started his football career with Spartak Trnava in the Czechoslovak First Division in 1986.

Karhan moved to Spain to play for Betis in 1999. He made 33 appearances for the club. In 2000, Karhan joined Nové Mesto nad Váhom in the Slovak First Division. He has since made 152 appearances for the club.

Karhan has been a key player for Nové Mesto nad Váhom, and he has helped the club to win the Slovak First Division twice, as well as the Slovak Cup. He has also played for the Czech Republic at international level.
