Axel Witsel was born on January 12, 1989 in Liège, Belgium. He started his career at RRC Vottem and then played for CS Visé before joining Standard Liège in 2006.

In 2011, he joined Benfica where he made over 100 appearances and won two Portuguese Liga titles (2012–13, 2013–14). In July 2016, Witsel signed with Atlético Madrid for a reported fee of €40 million.

With Atlético Madrid, Witsel has helped the club win the Spanish League title twice (2017-18; 2018-19) as well as the UEFA Europa League (2018-19).

Collins Fai is a Cameroonian international footballer who plays as a right back or left back for Al-Tai. Collins started his career with FC Bamenda in 2005 and made 18 appearances for the club before joining Union Douala in 2013.

Michy Batshuayi is a Belgian professional footballer who plays for Turkish club Fenerbahçe. He made his senior debut in 2009 for Standard Liège and has since played for several top-flight clubs across Europe, including Anderlecht, Brussels and Fenerbahçe.

In 2014, he scored 22 goals in 33 appearances to help Belgium reach the World Cup Finals. At international level, Batshuayi has represented Belgium at youth level before making his full international debut in 2016.

Gilbert Bodart is a Belgian football goalkeeper who played for Standard Liège and Bordeaux. Bodart was born in Ougrée on 2 September 1962. He started his career with CS Verlaine in 1972 and played for Standard Liège for eleven years.

Bodart played for Bordeaux in 1997, but returned to Standard Liège the following year. Bodart retired from professional football in 1998. He has made 445 appearances in the Belgian First Division, scoring ten goals. Bodart is a member of the Belgian national team and played six times.

Igor de Camargo is a Brazilian international striker who has played for clubs in Europe, most notably Borussia Mönchengladbach and Atlético Madrid. De Camargo was born in Porto Feliz, Brazil, in 1983 and started his career with local side Estrela.

He made his senior debut in 2000 and went on to feature for Genk, Valencia, Atlético Madrid and Borussia Mönchengladbach, winning three Eredivisie titles and three Spanish Cups with the latter. 

De Camargo represented Brazil at under-20 and under-23 level, winning the 2002 South American Championship and the 2003 Copa América.

He made his international debut for Brazil in 2006 and has since made over 50 appearances, scoring 14 goals. De Camargo retired from professional football in 2017, having played for Atlético Madrid in the Copa del Rey final that year.

Marc Wilmots is a Belgian politician who served as the Prime Minister of Belgium from 2003 to 2007. Wilmots was born in Jodoigne, Belgium in 1969. He played as an attacking midfielder in his youth career, and was named Belgian Footballer of the Year in 1988.

Wilmots served as the President of the Belgian Football Association from 2002 to 2003. He was appointed Prime Minister of Belgium in 2003, and served until 2007.

He spent the next 11 years with the Belgian side, winning three Belgian Pro League titles and two Belgian Cups.

Dragutinović moved to Spain in 2000, joining La Liga side Standard Liège. He won the Spanish Cup with the club in 2002, and helped them reach the UEFA Cup semi-finals in 2004. He rejoined Gent in 2005, before moving to Sevilla the following year. 

He has won five Liga titles and the Copa del Rey with Sevilla, as well as being named in the Champions League Team of the Season twice.

Guy Vandersmissen is a retired Belgian footballer who played as a midfielder. Vandersmissen began his career at Standard Liège, where he made over 250 appearances over a seven-year period.

He then moved to Everton, where he spent two seasons before retiring in 1981. Vandersmissen later served as the assistant manager of Standard Liège. He was inducted into the Belgian Football Hall of Fame in 1994.

Vandersmissen is currently the head coach of the Belgium U21 team. He was born on 25 December 1957 in Tongeren, Belgium. Guy Vandersmissen retired from football in 1981 after playing for Everton and Standard Liège.

Régis Genaux was a right back who played for Standard Liège in the 1990s. Genaux died in 2008 at the age of 35 after a long battle with cancer. Genaux was a regular member of the Belgian national team, and was part of the squad that won the 2004 European Championship.

Genaux is best known for his trademark long throw-ins. Genaux is survived by his wife and two young daughters.

He spent six seasons at Standard Liège before joining Genoa in 1996. Goossens won the Belgian Cup with Standard Liège in 1995 and was also named in the Belgian team of the year that year.

He left Genoa in 1997 and signed for Italian side Lazio the following year. Goossens enjoyed a successful spell with Lazio, scoring 42 goals in 101 appearances. He moved to French side Bordeaux in 2001 and helped the club win the French Cup that year.

He left Bordeaux in 2003 and signed for English side Nottingham Forest. He spent two seasons with Forest before retiring in 2005. 

Michaël Goossens began his playing career at Schalke 04, where he made over 200 appearances and scored 51 goals. He then moved to Standard Liège, where he won the Belgian League title in 2003 and 2004.

He then moved to Grazer AK, before joining Sint-Truidense in 2005. He then moved to Eupen in 2006, before retiring in 2007. Michaël Goossens then went on to play for Bercheux in France. 

He retired from playing in 2009. Michaël Goossens then became a coach at Lierse SK. He was appointed as assistant manager at Standard Liège in 2013.

Ivica Mornar is a forward who played for Hajduk Split and Eintracht Frankfurt in his senior career. Mornar made his debut for Hajduk Split in 1991 and went on to make 79 appearances for the club over the next six years.

He joined Eintracht Frankfurt in 1995 and made 19 appearances for the club over the next two seasons. Mornar joined Iranian side Sepahan in 1999 and played for the club for two seasons. Mornar then moved to Russian side FC Rostov in 2002 and played for the club for three seasons.

Mornar returned to Europe in 2006 when he joined Romanian side Steaua Bucureşti. He left Steaua Bucureşti in 2009 and joined Turkish side Fenerbahçe. Mornar signed for Iranian side Persepolis in 2011 and played for the club for two seasons. Mornar retired from professional football in 2014.

Alexandre Czerniatynski was born on 28 July 1960 in Charleroi, Belgium. He started his career at Sporting Charleroi before moving to Royal Antwerp in 1981.

He then spent four seasons with Anderlecht, and scored 87 goals in total. He moved to Standard Liège in 1989, and helped them to two Belgian titles. He then joined Mechelen in 1996, where he played until 1997.

He then moved to Germinal Ekeren, before retiring from football in 1999. Alexandre Czerniatynski represented Belgium at international level, and scored 212 goals in total. He is currently a football coach, and is currently in charge of Royal Tilleur FC.

Alexandre Czerniatynski was named Belgian Footballer of the Year in 1988 and 1990. Alexandre Czerniatynski is a Belgian manager who has had a successful managerial career in the Belgium First Division. He began his managerial career at Standard Liège, where he was in charge of the youth team.

He then moved on to take over at KV Mechelen, where he led the club to promotion to the Belgian First Division. He then spent two seasons in charge of Kampenhout, before moving on to Union SG. 

He spent one season at Beveren before joining Olympic Charleroi. He left Olympic Charleroi in 2018 to take over at KFC Duffel.

He returned to Olympic Charleroi in 2019, this time as manager.

Lukunku made his professional debut with ASOA Valence in 1995 and remained with the club until 1997. He scored 26 goals in 52 appearances during his time with the club.

Lukunku moved to France in 1997 and signed for Lille OSC. He scored 32 goals in 115 appearances for the club and helped them win the Ligue 1 title in 2000. 

Lukunku then moved to English club Manchester United and scored 25 goals in 91 appearances for the club.

He also won the Premier League title with United in 2004. Lukunku then moved to Turkish club Galatasaray and scored 38 goals in 97 appearances for the club. 

He also won the Turkish Super League title with Galatasaray in 2006. Lukunku then moved to Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua and scored 33 goals in 101 appearances for the club.

He also won the Chinese Super League title with Shanghai Shenhua in 2012. Lukunku then moved to Belgian club Anderlecht and scored 32 goals in 94 appearances for the club. 

He also won the Belgian Pro League title with Anderlecht in 2016. Lukunku then moved to Russian club FC Krasnodar and scored 34 goals in 76 appearances for the club.

He also won the Russian Premier League title with FC Krasnodar in 2018. Lukunku then moved to Saudi club Al-Nassr and scored 36 goals in 89 appearances for the club. 

He also won the Saudi League title with Al-Nassr in 2019. Lukunku then announced his retirement from professional football and will be joining Al-Nassr's coaching staff as a technical director.

Henk Vos is a Dutch football player, who has played for PSV, RBC, Willem II, Standard Liège, and Germinal Ekeren. He is best known for his time at Standard Liège, where he won the Belgian Pro League title in 1993.

Vos made his international debut for the Netherlands in 1988 and has since played at UEFA Euro 1992, the 1994 World Cup, the 1998 World Cup, and the 2002 World Cup. He was named in the Dutch team of the century in 2001.

He retired from professional football in 2003, but continues to play for amateur side FC Eindhoven. Vos is married and has two children. 

Henk Vos was born on 5 June 1968 in Wouw, Netherlands. He started playing football at the age of six for RKSV Cluzona.

Dino Arslanagić is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Turkish side Göztepe. He started his career with Mouscron, before joining Lille in 2009.

Cyriac started his senior career with ASEC Mimosas in 2004. He amassed over 100 caps for the Ivorian side, before moving to Turkish side Fenerbahçe in 2013.

Cyriac helped Fenerbahçe to the Turkish Cup in both 2013 and 2014, as well as the UEFA Europa League in 2015. He moved to English side Watford in the summer of 2016, and made his debut for the Hornets in the FA Cup against Woking on 3 January 2017.

Dalmat started his career with Joué-les-Tours in the French second division before joining Nantes in 2000. 

He made his Ligue 1 debut for Marseille in 2002 and went on to play for Grenoble and Châteauroux before joining Orduspor in the Turkish Super Lig in 2016.

Dalmat has won two caps for France and played at the 2002 World Cup. He is currently with Orduspor on loan from Marseille. 

Dalmat is a versatile midfielder who can play in both midfield and defence. He has been described as a hard-working player who is capable of creating chances for his team.

Dalmat has been a regular fixture in the Orduspor starting eleven and is expected to help the club challenge for promotion to the Turkish Super Lig. 

Dalmat is currently the club's joint-leading goalscorer with six goals in all competitions. Dalmat is a French international and is expected to feature at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
