Alessandro Nesta is a 46-year-old Italian footballer who currently plays as a center-back for the Indian club Chennaiyin. Alessandro Nesta began his career at Lazio in 1993, before moving to Milan in 2002 where he made 224 appearances over seven seasons.

He then joined Montreal Impact in 2012 and played 31 games before returning to Italy with Chennaiyin the following year. 

Alessandro Nesta was part of the Italian side that won the 2006 World Cup and the 2007 European Championship, as well as reaching the final of the UEFA Champions League twice (2003–04 and 2007–08).

In 2013, Alessandro Nesta became manager of Serie B side Catania after leaving Milan midseason following their relegation from Serie A; however, he left Catania less than two years later without having won any matches under his command. 

Although mainly recognized for his defensive prowess, Alessandro Nesta has also been known to score goals occasionally – most notably scoring an injury-time equalizer against Barcelona in 2005 which helped Milan win their third Champions League title.

On 2 July 2017, it was announced that Alessandro Nesta would join the English club Queens Park Rangers on a one-year contract. He made his debut for QPR on 17 October 2017 coming on as a second-half substitute in their 3–1 home victory over Reading FC.

Róbert Orri Þorkelsson was born on April 3, 2002 in Reykjavík, Iceland. He is a defender and currently plays for CF Montréal in the Canadian Premier League.

After playing youth football with Afturelding, he signed his first professional contract with Icelandic side KA Akureyri in 2018.

Felipe Martins is a Brazilian midfielder who currently plays for Orlando City in the MLS. Felipe Martins spent his youth career playing for PSTC-Londrina and Atlético Catarinense-Arangua SC, before making his debut with Orlando City in 2015.

Felipe Martins has been praised for his strong defending ability, as well as being able to score goals from midfield. Felipe Campanholi Martins was born on September 30th 1990 in Engenheiro Beltrão, Brazil, and is 5'7".

He rejoined Vancouver Whitecaps FC midway through 2018 season and has since appeared 47 times scoring twice during that time span including one goal against Orlando City this past year. 

In 2021, Felipe joins D.C United but only makes 1 appearance before retiring at the end of the season due to injury.

Jack McInerney is a forward who has played for Philadelphia Union and Montreal Impact in his career. He was born on August 5, 1992, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

McInerney started playing football at the Cobb Futbol Club when he was just six years old and went on to play college football at Vanderbilt University before joining MLS side Philadelphia Union in 2010.

Didier Drogba is a retired Ivorian footballer who played as a striker for several clubs in France and England. He began his career with French club Dunkirk, before moving to Ligue 1 side Guingamp in 2002.

After helping Guingamp reach the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup, he joined Chelsea where he won three Premier League titles, two FA Cups and one Champions League trophy during six seasons at Stamford Bridge from 2003 to 2010.

In January 2011, Drogba signed for Shanghai Shenhua after leaving Chelsea following their relegation from the Premier League; however, he only made five appearances for the Chinese Super League side before retiring later that year due to injury.

Drogba rejoined Marseille on a short-term contract in December 2013 but left again shortly afterward without making an appearance for them either 6 or 7 months later 8 when his contract expired. 

Since then 10, he has been playing 11 professional football 12 intermittently 13 across Europe 14.

Didier Yves Drogba was born on March 11th 1978 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.[1] He started out playing football with local sides Dunkirk[2] and Tourcoing,[3] both in France's top division Ligue.

After impressing at the youth level with Le Mans, Ivorian powerhouse Olympique de la Gamba drafted him into their squad ahead of the 1988–89 season.

However, after featuring just twice – both coming off the bench – " Dido" opted instead to join fellow second-division outfit Abbeville midway through 1989 campaign.

It wasn’t until 1991 that “The Beast” would make his debut for Vannes appearing 22 times over two seasons prior to joining ambitious third-tier Levallois Athletic alongside compatriot Nicolas Anelka on July 24th, 1993. 

Chelsea paid £16 million (then €21m/£15m) plus add-ons which took their tally up to 23million euros (£18m/$26m).

Victor Wanyama is a Kenyan defensive midfielder who joined Tottenham Hotspur in 2017. He made his debut for Kenya in 2011 and has since played at the Africa Cup of Nations, World Cup, and Copa America tournaments.

Wanyama had a successful stint with Southampton before joining Spurs in 2017. In total, he has made over 280 appearances for clubs including JMJ Youth Academy (2006–2008), KF Korona Kielce, Celtic, Southampton, and Tottenham Hotspur.

Victor Wanyama is a Kenyan international footballer who plays as a midfielder for Tottenham Hotspur. Wanyama began his career with Beerschot in Belgium, before moving to Celtic in Scotland in 2011. 

He joined Southampton for £12 million in 2013 and spent five seasons there before joining Tottenham Hotspur for £11 million in 2016. In 2020, he moved to Canada to join Montreal Impact of the MLS; this was his first ever move outside of Europe or Africa. 

Wanyama has represented Kenya at senior level on several occasions, most notably at the 2006 World Cup and the 2007 Confederations Cup where they reached the semi-finals both times.

Kei Kamara is a Sierra Leonean international forward who currently plays for Canadian club CF Montréal. 

He was born in Kenema and played youth football with Kallon, before going on to play college soccer at California State Dominguez Hills Toros, where he made over 100 appearances and scored 43 goals.

After failing to land a professional contract following his graduation from college, Kei joined MLS side New England Revolution in 2006 but only stayed with the team for one season before moving onto English side Portsmouth FC later that year. 

In 2008, he signed for Houston Dynamo where he made over 70 appearances and scored 31 goals during three seasons there before joining Montreal Impact in 2015.

Ignacio Piatti is a Argentinian winger who has played for Montreal Impact, Parma, and Juventus. Piatti started his career with Club Mitre de General Baldissera before moving to Parma and then to Juventus in 2012.

He has made over 150 appearances for Juventus, scoring 34 goals. Piatti was named Serie A Footballer of the Year in both 2013 and 2014. 

He was also named to the PFA Team of the Year in both 2013 and 2014. Piatti was transferred to Montreal Impact in 2015.

Marco Di Vaio is a former Italian international striker who is best known for his time with Lazio. Di Vaio has spent the majority of his career in Italy, playing for Lazio and Montreal Impact in the MLS.

Bojan Krkić is a Spanish footballer who plays as a forward for Roma and Milan. Krkić was born in Linyola, Spain, in 1990. Krkić began his career at Barcelona, where he made 22 appearances and scored 10 goals in two seasons.

In 2007, Krkić moved to Roma, where he made 37 appearances and scored seven goals. Krkić signed with Milan in January 2014, but he was loaned to Ajax the following month. Krkić has represented Spain at the under-21 level and the senior team.

Bojan Krkić was a nominee for the 2013–14 Serie A Forward of the Year award. Krkić made his debut for the Spain national team in a friendly against Slovakia on 14 November 2013. 

Krkić was born to a Spanish father and a Serbian mother. Bojan Krkić began his career at the Spanish club Barcelona.

He then spent time on the Catalan side of Espanyol. Bojan transferred to Premier League Stoke City in 2014. He has since played for Mainz 05 and Montreal Impact in Germany and Canada, respectively. 

Bojan has made 74 appearances for Stoke City and is currently with the Impact. Bojan has also represented Spain at the UEFA European Under-17 Championship and UEFA European Under-21 Championship.

He is a creative midfielder with a good eye for goals. Bojan is a regular for the Spain national team and has appeared in eight games. 

Bojan is a key player for Stoke City and is expected to lead the midfield for the club in the 2019–2020 season.

Maxim Tissot is a Canadian left-back who currently plays for Atlético Ottawa in the Canadian Soccer League. Tissot first came to prominence with CS Aylmer, playing for the club from 2004-2008.

He then moved to FC Outaouais, where he spent 2009-2013. Tissot made his debut for the Montreal Impact in 2013 and has since made over 100 appearances for the club.

David Choinière is a midfielder who currently plays for Forge FC in the Canadian Premier League. David began his career with the Quebec club L’Association Acadienne de soccer before moving to Europe to play for FC Lorient in France.

David signed with Forge FC in early 2019 and has been an important part of the club's success so far. 

David has made several appearances for the Canada national team and was part of the team that won the CONCACAF U-20 Championship in 2018.

David is a hard-working midfielder who is always looking to contribute to his team. David is a versatile midfielder who can play anywhere in the midfield. 

David is looking to continue his success with Forge FC in the Canadian Premier League and international play for Canada.

David Choinière was born in Montreal, Quebec on December 2, 1994. David started playing soccer at an early age, joining his local club in Montréal at the age of six. David quickly emerged as a talented player and was called up to the Canada U18 team in 2009. 

 David made his professional debut with FC Montreal in the Canadian Premier League in 2016, and he went on to play five games for the club.

Sebastian Breza is a 24-year-old Canadian goalkeeper who currently plays for Carrarese on loan from Bologna. Breza started his youth career with FS Salaberry before moving to CS Sainte-Julie in 2014.

Breza is well-known for his shot-stopping ability and was named the best goalkeeper in the Canadian Premier League in 2017. Breza has been capped by Canada at youth level and has also represented his country at U-20 level.

Breza is a regular for Canada at international level and was part of their squad for the 2017 CONCACAF U-20 Championship. 

Breza is predicted to be a top goalkeeper in the future and could be a key player for Canada at the 2022 World Cup.

Breza is the son of former Socceroo Craig Breza. Breza has two sisters, one of whom is also a goalkeeper. Breza is a Ottawa Senators fan.

Final Words

CF Montréal has had a number of talented players throughout its history, but some of the best in the club’s history have been defenders Sylvain Distin and Matteo Ferrari.

Distin was a key part of the club’s success during the late 1990s and early 2000s, while Ferrari was a consistent performer in the midfield.
