Kevin De Bruyne is a 31-year-old Belgian midfielder who currently plays for Manchester City. Kevin De Bruyne started his career at KVV Drongen, before moving to Gent in 2005.

In 2008, he joined Genk and went on to make 97 appearances for the club over six seasons. De Bruyne made his international debut for Belgium in 2012 and has since gone on to represent them at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

He was named PFA Players' Player of the Year in 2017 and 2018, as well as being nominated for the Ballon d'Or both years; however.

He lost out to Luka Modric each time De Bruyne is one of the most highly-rated young players in Europe, and has been labeled as a potential successor to Andrea Pirlo at Juventus.

Romelu Lukaku is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a striker for the Italian club Inter Milan on loan from Chelsea. Lukaku started his career at Rupel Boom, before moving to KFC Wintam in 2004.

He then played for Lierse and Anderlecht before joining Chelsea in 2014. In 2017–18, Lukaku won the Premier League with Manchester United and was named PFA Player of the Year, while also being nominated for the Ballon d'Or award that year.

On 31 August 2018, it was announced that he had joined Inter Milan on loan until 2020.[4] In May 2019, he helped Inter reach the UEFA Champions League final after scoring twice against Barcelona during their semi-final tie.

Lukaku has been capped over 100 times by Belgium and scored 27 goals for his country,[6][7][8] including 11 international goals in 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches which led to Belgium reaching Russia.

He represented Everton from 2009 to 2015; however, he moved back to Stamford Bridge following their relegation from the Premier League in 2016 and has since made 146 appearances.

He scored 82 goals across all competitions for Chelsea – making him one of the most successful strikers in English football history. Romelu Lukaku is a professional footballer who plays for Manchester United and the Belgium national team.

Lukaku scored his first goal for Chelsea in their 3-1 victory over West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on 21 September 2014. He was loaned to Everton from Chelsea during the 2013–14 season, scoring 15 goals in 31 appearances before returning to Stamford Bridge. 

On 1 January 2017, he joined Manchester United for £75 million ($112 million). In total, he has made 110 appearances and scored 53 goals for Everton and Manchester United combined. 

At the international level, Lukaku has represented Belgium at every age group from U15s up to senior nationals, including appearing at both the World Cup (where they reached the round of 16) and Euro 2016 (where they were knocked out in the group stage). 

After helping Inter Milan win Serie A title in the 2018–19 season, Lukaku signed a contract with Chelsea until 2021 but left them after only 26 games due to poor form which led him to being dropped by manager Maurizio Sarri.

Thibaut Courtois is a Belgian goalkeeper who currently plays for Real Madrid. Courtois began his career with Bilzen V.V., before moving to Genk in 2009.

He made his debut for Belgium in 2012 and has since played at the 2014 World Cup, Euro 2016, and the 2018 World Cup. 

He is considered one of the world's best goalkeepers and was named Best Player at UEFA EURO 2016 after guiding Belgium to victory over France in the final.

With 119 caps, he is fourth on Belgium's all-time appearance list behind Romelu Lukaku (150), Marc Overmars (152), and Axel Witsel (154). In 2017, Courtois signed a new long-term contract with Real Madrid that runs until 2024. 

After making an error against Atletico Madrid which led to their opponents netting an equalizer during their Champions League semi-final first leg. He conceded two goals from set pieces during their 3–1 La Liga win over Barcelona. 

But still managed to keep a clean sheet as Los Blancos went through 5–0 aggregate thanks to the away goals rule - becoming only the third club ever to do so in European competition after Ajax Amsterdam & Juventus Fc.

May 11th 2019) Thibaut Nicolas Marc Courtois signs another year extension with Real Madrid keeping him contracted until 2024. Thibaut Courtois is a professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Chelsea and Real Madrid. 

Thibaut Courtois was born in 1993 in Belgium and began playing football at a young age with the local side KVK Olympia Rotterdam. In 2009, he joined Genk on loan before signing with Chelsea the following year. 

He made his debut for the Blues in 2012 and went on to win two Premier League titles, an FA Cup, and the Europa League with them during his time there. 

In 2018, he moved to Real Madrid where he has won another La Liga title and the Champions League twice over since joining them.

At the international level, Thibaut Courtois has represented Belgium at both youth levels (U18 & U21) as well as making one appearance for their senior team at Euro 2016 qualifying.

Dembélé is a midfielder for Belgian club Fulham and was part of the team that reached the last 16 stage of the World Cup in Russia. Dembélé started his career at Germinal Beerschot and played for Willem II before joining AZ in 2006.

He signed for Fulham in 2010 where he made 62 appearances over 5 seasons, including 41 starts, helping them to win promotion to the Premier League in 2013/14. 

In January 2018, Dembélé joined Liverpool from Fulham on a six-and-a-half-year contract reported to be worth £100 million ($130 million).

He has represented Belgium at youth level but did not make his full international debut until 2017 when he captained them at Euro 2016 qualifiers against Gibraltar and Andorra.

Jan Vertonghen is a Belgian footballer who currently plays for Anderlecht in the Belgian Pro League. He started his career at Dutch club VK Tielrode before moving to Belgium to play for Germinal Beerschot and then Ajax.

At international level, Vertonghen has represented Belgium at every level from under-17s to senior squad, making him one of the most capped players in his country's history.

In 2011 he joined Tottenham Hotspur where he made over 200 appearances and helped them win the Premier League title in 2012/13 and the FA Cup in 2014/15.

Christian Benteke is a Belgian international striker who currently plays for D.C. United in the United States. He started his career with JS Pierreuse before moving to Standard Liège and Genk, where he made over 130 appearances between 2006 and 2013.

In January 2014, Benteke joined Aston Villa on a five-and-a-half-year contract for a reported £32 million ($45 million). However, he only made eight appearances for Villa before being loaned out to Liverpool in September of that year. 

After six months at Anfield, Benteke was sold to Crystal Palace in June 2015; however, he only played nine times during his time at Selhurst Park and was subsequently released by Palace in January 2016 after failing to agree terms on a new contract.

Finally, Benteke moved back to Belgium and signed with Lille ahead of the 2016–17 season; however, he failed to score in 14 league games before being loaned out again – this time to Wolfsburg – midway through the season.

At the end of November 2017 it was announced that Benteke had rejoined DC United on an initial one-year deal. Christian has scored 34 goals from 111 senior club appearances.

He is also capped 81 times, scoring 10 goals including two against Spain when they met at Euro 2012 as well as playing all three matches (including penalties) at the World Cup 2010 held in South Africa making him eligible for selection into Belgium's. '

A' team squad which played their first ever competitive match against Luxembourg earlier this month - losing 1–0 but Christian still managed 70 minutes playing off the bench.[8] What an amazing story.

Mangala is a Belgian-born midfielder who currently plays for Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League. Mangala made his debut for Anderlecht aged just 18, and went on to play over 100 matches for the club before joining Borussia Dortmund in 2016 on loan.

Mangala was one of the key players for Belgium at the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup, helping them reach the semi-finals where they were beaten by Spain. 

At 1.78 metres (5ft 10in), Mangala is considered both physically and technically strong enough to be a midfield mainstay in modern footballing environments.

Dries Mertens is a Belgian professional footballer who plays for Turkish side Galatasaray as a forward. Dries Mertens was born on May 6, 1987 in Leuven, Belgium.

Becoming joint top scorer along with Ruud van Nistelrooy among Belgian players ever when tallying 8 goals across all official competitions these performances saw him nominated for The Best Fifa Men’s Player Award alongside Cristiano Ronaldo & Lionel Messi.

Axel Witsel was born on January 12, 1989 in Liège, Belgium. He started his career at RRC Vottem and then played for CS Visé before joining Standard Liège in 2006.

Alexis Saelemaekers is a Belgian winger who currently plays for AC Milan. Alexis was born on 27 June 1999 in Sint-Agatha-Berchem, Belgium and is 1.80m tall. Alexis began his youth career with RSC Anderlecht before signing for Italian side AC Milan in 2017.

Injuries have prevented him from making an impact at Milan so far but he has shown glimpses of brilliance during pre-season matches.

Dedryck Boyata is a Belgian footballer who plays for Club Brugge. He first emerged as a talent in Belgium with RWDM Brussels before joining Manchester City in 2009.

Boyata has made over 130 appearances for Manchester City, helping them to win two Premier League titles and the FA Cup during his time there. 

In 2015, he joined Club Brugge on a season-long loan from Manchester City and went on to make 28 appearances for the club that year en route to winning the Belgian Pro League title.

Jan Ceulemans was born in Lier, Belgium in 1957. He started his career at Lierse before moving to Club Brugge in 1978 where he would play for the next 23 years.

Ceulemans is well-known for his attacking midfield play and has represented Belgium on numerous occasions, including at the 1982 World Cup and Euro 1984.

Timmy Simons was born in December 1976 in Belgium and started his career playing for Klein Kempen Bekkevoort. He then moved to KTH Diest where he played until 1994.

In 1995, he signed with Standard Liège and had a successful spell there before moving to Anderlecht in 2001. After four seasons at Anderlecht, Timmy joined FC Barcelona where he spent six years before joining Borussia Dortmund in 2013.

At the age of 36, Timmy made the move to Stoke City after impressing during a pre-season trial period earlier this year. 

 Despite only featuring sparingly so far this season due to injury, it is hoped that Timmy can continue his good form into next season and help lead Stoke back into the Premier League.

Christian Kabasele is a Zambian-born Belgian professional footballer who currently plays for Watford in the English Premier League.

Paul Van Himst was born on October 2nd, 1943 in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, Belgium. He played for Anderlecht from 1951 to 1975 and won two Belgian Championships with the club.

After retiring as a player, Van Himst went into management with Molenbeek where he served until 1986. In 1999, Paul Van Himst was inducted into the Belgian Football Hall of Fame alongside other greats such as Johan Cruyff and Silvio Berlusconi.

On February 27th, 2009, Paul van Himst suffered a stroke that left him paralyzed from the neck down but he has since made significant progress and continues to live independently. 

Paul Van Himst played for Eendracht Aalst from 1976-1977 and then had a long managerial career with Belgian sides including Anderlecht, Molenbeek and Belgium.

Van Buyten started his career at JS Froidchapelle before moving to Olympic Charleroi in 1993. He spent two seasons with UBS Auvelais before moving to FC Somzée in 1994.

Van Buyten moved to Manchester United in 1997 and spent six seasons with the club. He joined Barcelona in 2011 and spent two seasons with the club before retiring in 2013.
