Mohamed Salah is a forward for Liverpool and was born in Egypt on 15 June 1992. He made his professional debut with Al Mokawloon in 2010 and then joined Basel the next year.

He helped Basel win the Swiss Super League in 2013 and 2014, as well as reaching the Champions League semi-finals that year. 

In 2015, he signed for Chelsea but only played six league games before being loaned to Fiorentina where he scored 11 goals in 35 appearances.

After returning to Chelsea, Salah joined Liverpool for £36 million ($48 million) in July 2017 and has since been an important part of their squad.

Scoring 44 goals across all competitions including 32 Premier League goals this season which led to him being named PFA Players' Player of the Year at the end of 2018/19 season.

Hitz is a goalkeeper who has played for Basel in Switzerland since 2009. He was named Swiss Goalkeeper of the Year in 2017 and 2018. Hitz won his first Champions League title with Dortmund in 2021, becoming the first player from Switzerland to do so.

Marco Streller is a Swiss forward who has played club football in both Switzerland and Germany. Streller started his career at FC Aesch before moving to FC Arlesheim in 1997.

Scott Chipperfield is a former Australian left midfielder who played for clubs in Australia and Europe. Chipperfield started his career at Bellambi FC in Wollongong before moving to Tarrawanna Blueys in 1995.

Benjamin Huggel was born in 1977 in Switzerland and started playing football at a young age with FC Münchenstein. He made his professional debut in 1987 and soon became a key player for the club, winning several titles and playing in the UEFA Cup.

Taulant Ragip Xhaka was born in Basel, Switzerland in 1991. He started his career with Concordia Basel, before joining FC Basel in 2009. Xhaka has made over 200 appearances for Basel and has won eight Swiss Super League titles.

Lang is a Swiss defender who currently plays for Basel. Lang started his career with FC St. Gallen, before moving on to Swiss sides FC Sion and FC Luzern.

Otto Demarmels is a retired Swiss footballer who played as a defender and midfielder. Demarmels made his senior debut with St. Gallen in 1967 and went on to make over 350 appearances for the club over the course of a 15-year career.

Jörg Stohler started his football career at FC Pratteln in 1963. He was a defender for most of his career, but later on he also played as a midfielder. He was a part of the Swiss national team for many years, and he participated in the 1978 World Cup.

He ended his football career in 1996. After his football career, he started working as a coach at FC Pratteln and other clubs. He has also been a referee for many years. 

He is now retired, but he still spends his time coaching and refereeing. He is a well-known figure in the Swiss football community.

He is also a writer, and he has written several books about football. Jörg Stohler started his managerial career at FC Münchenstein in 1988. 

During his time at Münchenstein, he led the club to a first-place finish in the Swiss Super League in 1996. He later moved on to manage FC Laufenburg before taking the helm at FC Pratteln in 2007.

He led Pratteln to a second-place finish in the Swiss League in 2009 before departing for FC Basel in 2010. He managed Basel to three consecutive Swiss League titles from 2011 to 2013. Stohler then left Basel to take the reins at FC Grenchen in 2014. 

He led Grenchen to their first-ever Swiss Cup championship in 2017. He departed Grenchen after two seasons and took the reins at FC Basel II in 2019.
