Son Heung-min is a South Korean footballer who currently plays for Tottenham Hotspur. Son began his career with FC Seoul before joining Hamburger SV in 2010.

Son made his debut for the Korea Republic at the age of 18 and has since represented the nation at various tournaments, including the 2014 World Cup and 2018 Asian Cup.

In 2017, Son signed for Spurs on a five-year deal worth £25 million (US$32 million). Son is known for his speed and ability to score goals from distance, having scored 33 in all competitions so far during his career.

Franz Beckenbauer is one of the most iconic and successful football players in history. He played for Bayern Munich from 1964 to 1977 and won five Bundesliga titles, two German Cups, two European Cup Winners' Cups, a Intercontinental Cup and the FIFA World Cup with Germany in 1974.

After his playing career ended he became manager of several clubs including Bayer Leverkusen, Real Madrid and Manchester United before returning to management as head coach of Bayern Munich between 2001-03. 

In 2005 he was made an honorary citizen of Munich after being named "Bester Spieler Deutschlands" (German footballer of the year) four times consecutively – a record which still stands today.

Franz Beckenbauer has also been involved in various other business ventures including ownership or leadership roles at companies such as Adidas AG, TV channel Sport1 and Porsche AG among others. 

He currently serves on the board of directors for FC Barcelona and is president emeritus of global sports organisation FIFPro International since 2011 having served previously from 1990 until 2003. 

On 15 January 2019 it was announced that Franz Beckenbauer had been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), but would continue to work while receiving treatment Franz.

Beckenbauer was a successful footballer and manager who represented West Germany at both the international level as a player and later in managerial roles.

Franz Beckenbauer is most famous for his time spent managing Bayern Munich, where he led them to numerous Bundesliga titles and appearances in the UEFA Champions League. 

He has also had other coaching roles, including with Marseille and Bayern Munich, but his most recent role was as Sport Director of the Brazilian national team from 2016-2018.

Rafael van der Vaart is a Dutch midfielder who previously played for Ajax, Hamburger SV and Tottenham Hotspur. Van der Vaart joined Esbjerg fB in January 2019 as an assistant coach following his retirement from playing.

Van der Vaart has represented the Netherlands at international level on several occasions, most notably during the 2006 World Cup and Euro 2008 tournaments. In 2012, he rejoined Spurs after spending two years with Real Madrid.

He left White Hart Lane in 2014 to join Hamburg but returned to England the following year when he re-signed with Tottenham Hotspur.

Lewis Holtby is a German midfielder who currently plays for Holstein Kiel. He began his career at Sparta Gerderath, before moving to Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2004.

Holtby made over 200 appearances for Gladbach before joining Alemannia Aachen in 2007. In 2011, he signed with Schalke 04 and helped the club win promotion to the Bundesliga that season.

When they purchased 50% of his contract from Gladbach, but this wasn’t long lasting as after only 11 games across all competitions including two starts in Champions League group stage matches, injury forced him into surgery which ruled him out indefinitely.

This setback caused further complications within negotiations between both clubs so eventually it came down to a head-to-head battle between BMG & Schwarzgelben Troisdorf - Dortmund lost 4–0.

Ultimately due together injuries sustained whilst still registered with Gladbach signing permanently with Alemanna Aachen became possible though initially not without some controversy as many felt that Gelsenkirchen had reneged on their promise of giving young.

Ivica Olić is a Croatian footballer who is currently assistant coach of Croatia. Olić began his playing career at Davor in Croatia before moving to Germany to play for Hertha BSC II.

André Breitenreiter is a former German footballer who played as a midfielder. He is most famous for his time at Hannover 96, where he won two Bundesliga titles and the DFB-Pokal.

Horst Hrubesch is a 71-year-old German football coach who has worked with the German U21 side. Hrubesch began his coaching career at FC Pelkum in 1978, before spending three years with SC Westtünnen.

He then moved to Hamburger SV, where he spent six seasons before joining Borussia Dortmund in 1985. Hrubesch spent two seasons with Dortmund before joining Standard Liège in 1986.

Josef Posipal was born in 1927 in Lugoj, Romania. He started his career with TSV Badenstedt in 1943. He moved to Blau-Weiß Wölpinghausen in 1945 and then to SV Linden 07 in 1946.

Posipal made his international debut for Romania in a 1948 World Cup qualifying match against Finland. He played in the German Bundesliga for Hamburger SV from 1953 to 1962. Posipal was a part of the Romanian team that won the 1966 World Cup.

He also played in the 1966 European Championship and the 1972 European Championship. Posipal retired from professional football in 1972. 

Posipal died on 21 February 1997 in Hamburg, Germany. Josef Posipal was a talented footballer who represented West Germany in international competition.

Posipal began his career at SV Arminia Hannover, before moving to Hamburger SV in 1949. He enjoyed a successful spell at HSV, winning two Bundesliga titles and the German Cup.
