Cheikhou Kouyaté is a Senegalese midfielder who has played for Anderlecht, West Ham United and Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League. Kouyate was born on 21 December 1989 in Dakar, Senegal.

He started his career with ASC Yego Dakar before joining RWDM Brussels in 2006. In 2007, he joined Belgian side Anderlecht and made 153 appearances during his time at the club before moving to England to join West Ham United in 2014.

Cheikhou Kouyaté represented Senegal at youth level and won two African Youth Championships (2005 & 2007). 

He made his senior international debut for Senegal against Zambia in November 2010 and has since earned over 50 caps including appearances at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations where they reached the final but lost 2-1 to Ivory Coast.

Kouyaté began his career at Kortrijk, where he was a regular in the team. He moved to English side West Ham United in 2014 and made 129 appearances for the club over the following two seasons.

Papa Bouba Diop was born on 28 January 1978 in Dakar, Senegal. He started his football career with Ndeffann Saltigue in 1994, before joining ASC Diaraf in 1995.

He made his debut for Senegal in a 1998 World Cup qualifying match against Djibouti. He played for Marseille from 2002 to 2006, winning the Ligue 1 title in 2003 and 2004.

He joined Borussia Dortmund in 2007, where he won the Bundesliga title in 2011 and the DFB-Pokal in 2012. He joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2014, and helped them win the French First Division title in 2016 and the French Cup in 2017.

Jules Bocandé was a striker who played for Casa Sport in Senegal and Entente Ziguinchor in France. Bocandé was born in Ziguinchor, Senegal in 1958. He started his career with Entente Ziguinchor in 1978.

He scored 58 goals in 98 appearances for the club. Bocandé moved to France to play for Casa Sport in 1980. He scored 18 goals in 54 appearances for Casa Sport. He moved to Metz in 1984 and played for the club until his death in 2012.

Bocandé was capped 10 times by Senegal. He was also a member of the Senegal national team at the 1998 World Cup. 

Jules Bocandé was born on March 9, 1952, in the town of Niamako in the Casamance region of Senegal. Bocandé began his playing career with the local club Saint-Louis in the Senegal Premier League in 1970.

In 1977, Bocandé moved to the Belgian side Cercle Brugge where he would spend the next six seasons. In 1982, Bocandé joined RUS Tournaisienne and would spend two seasons with the club. Bocandé then joined Seraing where he would spend four seasons. 

In 1986, Bocandé transferred to the French side Paris Saint-Germain. Bocandé would spend three seasons with PSG and help the club win the French Cup in 1988.

In 1991, Bocandé transferred to Lens. Bocandé would spend two seasons with Lens before retiring in 1993.

Tony Sylva is a goalkeeper who has played for several clubs in his career, most notably ADS Aldo Gentina Dakar and ASEC Mimosas. He represented Senegal at the international level and played at the 2002 World Cup.

Sylva is a former African Player of the Year and was named in the Senegal squad for the 2006 World Cup. In 2009, Sylva moved to France to play for Ligue 1 club Lorient. Sylva announced his retirement from professional football in May 2014.
