51 United Kingdom Soccer Best Players of All Time

Andrew Kovacs

The United Kingdom has a proud history of soccer, with many of its teams regularly competing in international tournaments.

While each of the four home nations of the UK – England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland – are represented separately in the FIFA World Cup and UEFA European Championship, the United Kingdom does not field a single national team in any international competition.

Despite this, the UK’s soccer heritage is rich and varied, from the success of the Premier League to the vibrant grassroots and youth leagues up and down the country. With the home nations all competing in major tournaments, the UK still has a vested interest in the global game.
