Brad Friedel is a goalkeeper who has spent his entire career with Tottenham Hotspur. He was born in Ohio and attended UCLA, where he played 66 games for the Bruins between 1990 and 1993.

Friedel made his professional debut in 1992 with Spurs' Division Two side Whitehawk, before joining their first team the following year. He subsequently became an integral part of the Spurs squad, making over 500 appearances during his time at the club.

In 2006, Friedel signed for Aston Villa but left after just one season due to injury problems; he then returned to Tottenham until his retirement in 2016-17 season at age 40.

Brad Friedel is a former American goalkeeper who played for clubs including Blackburn Rovers and Tottenham Hotspur.

He had a long international career with the United States, making 82 appearances in total. Friedel retired from playing at the end of the 2016-17 season, but continues to manage both club and country sides as part of his retirement plans.

Christian Benteke is a Belgian international striker who currently plays for D.C. United in the United States. He started his career with JS Pierreuse before moving to Standard Liège and Genk, where he made over 130 appearances between 2006 and 2013.

In January 2014, Benteke joined Aston Villa on a five-and-a-half-year contract for a reported £32 million ($45 million). However, he only made eight appearances for Villa before being loaned out to Liverpool in September of that year. 

After six months at Anfield, Benteke was sold to Crystal Palace in June 2015; however, he only played nine times during his time at Selhurst Park and was subsequently released by Palace in January 2016 after failing to agree terms on a new contract.

Finally, Benteke moved back to Belgium and signed with Lille ahead of the 2016–17 season; however, he failed to score in 14 league games before being loaned out again – this time to Wolfsburg – midway through the season.

At the end of November 2017 it was announced that Benteke had rejoined DC United on an initial one-year deal. Christian has scored 34 goals from 111 senior club appearances.

He is also capped 81 times, scoring 10 goals including two against Spain when they met at Euro 2012 as well as playing all three matches (including penalties) at the World Cup 2010 held in South Africa making him eligible for selection into Belgium's. '

A' team squad which played their first ever competitive match against Luxembourg earlier this month - losing 1–0 but Christian still managed 70 minutes playing off the bench.[8] What an amazing story.

Chambers has played for Arsenal since he was a child, and made his senior debut in 2014. Chambers is an England international, having won the FA Community Shield with Arsenal in 2014.

Chambers is 6'0" tall and plays as a centre-back or right-back for Aston Villa. Chambers has been described as "solid", "reliable" and "a disciplined defender".

Petrov is a Bulgarian international midfielder who has played for clubs in his country, Bulgaria and MLS side Toronto FC. Petrov made his professional debut with Montana in 1998 before moving to CSKA Sofia the following year.

He spent two years at the club before joining Lazio in 2001. In 2004, he joined Manchester United on a season-long loan deal but failed to make an appearance for the Red Devils. 

He subsequently returned to Lazio where he stayed until 2007 when he moved to Newcastle United on a free transfer.

After one season at Newcastle, Petrov signed for MLS side Toronto FC ahead of their inaugural season in 2008.

Which proved successful as they reached both the semi-finals and final of that year's CONCACAF Champions League although they were defeated by LA Galaxy in the latter stages of that competition. 

During his four seasons with Toronto FC, Petrov won three Supporters' Shields (2009–11), two Canadian Championships (2010 & 2011) and was named Major League Soccer MVP runner-up during the 2010 season. 

On 7 July 2013 it was announced that Petrov had transferred from Toronto FC to Russian Premier League side Lokomotiv Moscow.[3] However just over 12 months later he left Lokomotiv after making only six appearances.

In January 2017 it was announced that Petrov had rejoined former club CSKA Sofia on a short term contract.[4] Just days later however CSKA terminated his contract citing "personal reasons".

On 31 August 2017 it was announced thatPetrova had signed with Greek Superleague outfit AEK Athens[6] where he will reunite with manager Slavisa Jokanovic having coached him while managing Vitesse Arnhem between 2009 and 2012.

Ashley Young was born on July 9, 1985 in Stevenage, Hertfordshire[4]. Ashley started his career at Watford and made over 200 appearances for the club before joining Manchester United in 2006.

He won a Premier League title with Man United in 2008 and also lifted the FA Cup that year. After six years with Manchester United, Ashley signed for Aston Villa in 2012 and has since helped them to win two Championship titles (2013-14) and one FA Cup (2018).

In total, Ashley has made 427 appearances for England including 86 during Euro 2016 where he played a key role as the team reached the semi-finals.

Peter McParland is one of the most decorated players in Aston Villa history, with 293 appearances and 98 goals to his name. He made his debut for the club in 1951 and went on to play a major role in their success in the 1960s.

Peter McParland was an accomplished midfielder who enjoyed a successful international career with Northern Ireland. Following his retirement from playing, McParland took up management positions with Glentoran and Hong Kong.

He is most famous, however, for his time in charge of Worcester City, who he led to promotion to the Football League in 1964. McParland passed away in 2013 at the age of 80.

Nigel Spink is a goalkeeper who has played for West Ham United, Portsmouth and Birmingham City. He made his professional debut in 1976 for West Ham United and went on to make over 200 appearances for the club.

He joined Portsmouth in 1985 and made over 100 appearances for the club before moving to Birmingham City in 1992. He played in the Football League for Birmingham City, Portsmouth and West Ham United, and was a member of the Portsmouth team that won the FA Cup in 2003.

He retired from professional football in 2005 and has since worked as a goalkeeping coach with several clubs.

Brian Little is a 69-year-old English striker who played for Aston Villa in the 1970s and 1980s. Little made his international debut for England in 1978 and scored 16 goals in 47 appearances.

He retired from international football in 1984. Little is currently manager of League Two club Northampton Town. In 2010, Little was named the Football League's Manager of the Year. Little was born in Newcastle upon Tyne, England.

He started his career at Aston Villa and played there for three seasons. Little then moved to Everton and played for them for two seasons. He then moved to Birmingham City and played for them for three seasons. Little then moved to Northampton Town and is currently their manager.

Brian Little began his managerial career with Wolverhampton Wanderers in 1986, where he would remain for six years. 

He then had a two-year spell at Darlington, before joining Leicester City in 1994. Little would stay with the Foxes for six years, helping them to two promotions, as well as a League Cup win.

He then left Leicester for Aston Villa in 1998, and spent four years with the club before leaving for Stoke City in 2000. He spent two years with the Potters before joining West Bromwich Albion in 2002. 

He then had a two-year spell with Hull City before returning to Tranmere Rovers in 2007. He then had a two-year spell with Wrexham before joining Jersey in 2016. He has won over 100 matches as a manager, as well as two promotions and one League Cup.

Final Words

Aston Villa Football Club is one of the most historic and successful football clubs in the English Premier League. The club was founded in 1874 and has played its home games at Villa Park since 1895.

The club’s best players of all time include the likes of George Best, David Beckham, and Paul Gascoigne.
