The Iceland national football team is a highly accomplished team that has been representing the country of Iceland in international football tournaments since the late 1940s. The team is managed by the Football Association of Iceland and is a member of both FIFA and UEFA.

Róbert Orri Þorkelsson was born on April 3, 2002 in Reykjavík, Iceland. He is a defender and currently plays for CF Montréal in the Canadian Premier League.

After playing youth football with Afturelding, he signed his first professional contract with Icelandic side KA Akureyri in 2018. 

Róbert has represented Iceland at various youth levels including under-15s, under-17s, under-19s and senior squad level from 2017 onwards.

Birkir Bjarnason is a central midfielder for Adana Demirspor in Turkey. He has played for Iceland at the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Birkir started his career at KA Akureyri, before moving to Austrått and then Figgjo.

Eiður Guðjohnsen was born in Reykjavík, Iceland in 1978. He started his career at Valur in 1994 before moving to PSV in 1995. 

He joined Bolton Wanderers in 1998 and went on to play for Chelsea, Barcelona, Monaco, and Stoke City before joining Tottenham Hotspur on a loan in 2010.

Ragnar Sigurðsson is a 36-year-old Icelandic professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for English club Everton. Sigurðsson made his professional debut with Icelandic side Fylkir in 2004 and helped the club to the Icelandic Cup in 2005.
