Bolton Wanderers Football Club is an iconic club with a rich history of success. Founded in 1895, the club has an impressive record of competing in the top divisions of English football, even making their way to the Premier League in 2001.

The team has seen many highs and lows over the years, and are currently in EFL League One. In 1945, the club suffered a tragedy at Burnden Park, where 33 fans lost their lives in a human crush.

After this, the team moved to the University of Bolton Stadium in 1997, and have been there ever since. Despite their current place in League One, Bolton Wanderers Football Club remains an important part of the English football landscape.

Okocha was born on August 14, 1973 in Enugu, Nigeria. He started his career with Enugu Rangers before moving to Bundesliga side Borussia Neunkirchen in 1990.

After a year at Frankfurt Okocha moved to Paris Saint-Germain where he played for eight seasons and won the Ligue 1 title twice. 

In 2002 Okocha signed for Bolton Wanderers and spent four years there before retiring from professional football in 2007 due to injury aged 34 years old.

Jay-Jay has since worked as a coach with Qatar SC and is currently their head of coaching staff after being appointed in December 2017.[3] Jay-Jay Okocha was a world class footballer who played for one of the biggest clubs in England. 

He started his career with Nigerian side Hull City, before moving to English giants Arsenal.

Jay-Jay Okocha won many trophies during his time at Arsenal, including two Premier League titles and an FA Cup. After leaving Arsenal, Jay-Jay Okocha had spells at Chelsea and Real Madrid before retiring from football in 2007. 

Since retirement, Jay-JAY Okocha has worked as a television pundit and ambassador for various charities around the world.

The former Nigeria international is still widely considered one of the best midfielders ever to play the game.

Kevin Nolan started his career at Bolton Wanderers, before joining West Ham United in 2006. 

He has made over 350 appearances for the Hammers and won two Premier League titles with them in 2014 and 2018.

Nolan was appointed as coach of West Ham United on 25 May 2019, following the sacking of Manuel Pellegrini. Nolan was born in Manchester on October 3, 1984. He began his career at Bolton Wanderers before joining Newcastle United in 2009.

Nolan played for West Ham United from 2011 to 2015 and then moved to Leyton Orient in 2017. In 2018, he became the manager of Notts County but resigned after one season due to personal reasons.

Lee Chung-yong is a South Korean international footballer who plays as a winger for Ulsan Hyundai in the K League. Lee first came to prominence at FC Seoul, where he made 54 appearances and scored 11 goals between 2004 and 2009.

After two years out of the game, Lee signed for Bolton Wanderers in England but struggled to make an impact there before moving back home to Crystal Palace in 2015. 

The 34-year-old has since helped Palace win promotion back to the Premier League after finishing runners up last season.

Lee Chung-yong is a Korean international football player who has played for South Korea at various youth levels before making his senior team debut in 2007. 

Lee started out playing for club side Ulsan Hyundai but has since had a successful international career with South Korea, including appearances at the AFC Asian Cup and AFC Youth Championship.

Jared Borgetti is a Mexican international striker who has played for Atlas, Santos Laguna and Sinaloa. He is most famous for his time at Bolton Wanderers where he scored 19 goals in two seasons.

Following his release from Bolton, Borgetti joined Pachuca but only stayed there for one season before moving to Mexico City side Toluca in 2006. 

At the age of 35, Borgetti announced his retirement from football after failing to regain his form with Toluca following an injury-hit season in 2009/10.

In total, Jared Borgetti made 295 appearances in La Liga, Premier League and Football League Championship combined as well as scoring 188 goals during a 17-year professional career Borgetti was born in the United States but played for Mexican club Al-Ittihad. 

Borgetti had a successful international career with Mexico, playing in 89 matches and scoring 46 goals.

Eiður Guðjohnsen was born in Reykjavík, Iceland in 1978. He started his career at Valur in 1994 before moving to PSV in 1995. 

He joined Bolton Wanderers in 1998 and went on to play for Chelsea, Barcelona, Monaco, and Stoke City before joining Tottenham Hotspur on a loan in 2010.

Iván Campo Ramos was born in 1974 in San Sebastián, Spain. He started his career with Logroñés, before joining Alavés in 1996. He spent 10 years at Alavés, making over 300 appearances and winning a Liga and Copa del Rey title.

Campo joined Valencia in 2013, helping the club to an unbeaten season and an appearance in the Champions League.

Davies was born in Sheffield, England in 1977. After playing youth football with Sheffield United, Davies signed with Chesterfield in 1993. Davies made his professional debut in 1995 and went on to score over 100 goals for Chesterfield.

Davies joined Bolton Wanderers in 2001 and quickly established himself as one of the league's top strikers.

Nathaniel Lofthouse was born in Bolton, England on 27 August 1925. He played football for Bolton Wanderers and Manchester United before becoming a centre-forward for Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.

Lofthouse was an England international and won 57 caps, scoring 16 goals. He retired from playing in 1968 and later became managing director of Tottenham Hotspur. Lofthouse died in Bolton, England on 15 January 2011 at the age of 85.

He was inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame in 2002. Lofthouse was awarded an OBE in the 2001 Queen's Birthday Honours. 

He was a member of the British Football Association and the Football Association of Ireland. Lofthouse is remembered as one of the greatest footballers of all time.

Nat Lofthouse is one of the most successful managers in Bolton Wanderers' history, leading the club to the FA Cup in 1971 and the UEFA Cup in 1985.

Bruno Ngotty is a French centre-back who spent most of his playing career with Lyon. Ngotty made a name for himself during his time at Lyon, winning Ligue 1 titles in both 1988 and 1995.

John McGinlay is a Scottish striker who played for Bolton Wanderers in the Premier League. McGinlay started his career at Fort William before moving to Nairn County in 1983.

Williams was born in Bangor, Wales, on 6 November 1995. He started his career at Wrexham, making his first-team debut in 2013. Williams joined Bolton Wanderers in July 2016.

Josh Sheehan is a Welsh professional footballer who plays for Bolton Wanderers. Sheehan started his career with Swansea City where he played over 100 times for the club in all competitions.
