Steven Berghuis is a Dutch footballer who plays for Ajax. He made his professional debut with Vitesse in 2007 and spent three seasons there before joining Go Ahead Eagles in 2009.

After a year at AEK Athens, he joined Ajax in the summer of 2013 and has since played more than 250 matches for the club, scoring 30 goals. In 2016, Berghuis helped Netherlands win their first ever European Championship title.

He was named Dutch Footballer of the Year for both 2015 and 2016[5][6] and also won two Eredivisie titles (with Ajax) as well as two KNVB Cups (both with AEK).

On 28 November 2017,[7] Berghuis scored his 100th goal for Ajax during a 5–0 victory over Excelsior Rotterdam. With 78 caps to his name, he is currently the fourth-highest-capped player in Netherlands' history behind Arjen Robben, Wesley Sneijder, and Robin van Persie.

Hakim Ziyech is a Dutch international footballer who currently plays for Chelsea. He began his career with Reaal Dronten, and made over 100 appearances for the club before joining Ajax in 2012.

During his time at Ajax, he won two Eredivisie titles and the Europa League in 2017. In 2018, he joined Premier League side Manchester City on a season-long loan deal; however, this was later terminated by City due to disciplinary reasons.

He subsequently signed for Chelsea permanently in January 2019.[5] Hakim Ziyech has been described as an attacking midfielder or winger with excellent dribbling skills and passing ability.

He represented Netherlands at under-17 level,[7][8] then made three senior appearances before retiring from international football after their qualification campaign for the 2018 World Cup[9].

De Jong is a prolific striker who has been with PSV since 2014. De Jong represented Switzerland at youth level, before moving to Holland to play for De Graafschap in 2001.

After two seasons with Twente, he moved to PSV where he has become one of the most important players in their squad over the past few years. 

Jong is known for his goalscoring ability and quick feet which allow him to beat defenders easily; this has made him an attractive target for top clubs around Europe.

He will hope that things continue on this path when he represents Switzerland at the 2016 European Championships later this year. 

De Jong is married and father of two children; both of whom are involved in football either as parents or athletes themselves.

FK Příbram. He moved to Ajax in 2013 and made his senior debut in 2015. Twente since 2018. Václav Černý is a Czech professional footballer who plays for Dutch club Ajax as a midfielder.

Sadílek is a midfielder for Twente and has represented the Czech Republic at youth and senior level. Sadílek was born in Uherské Hradiště in 1999 and started playing football at local club 1.

FC Slovácko. Sadílek spent two seasons at PSV, where he made over 100 appearances and won the Eredivisie title in 2017. Sadílek made his international debut for the Czech Republic in 2018 and has since played at the UEFA European Under-21 Championship and the World Cup.

Przemysław Tytoń is a Polish goalkeeper who currently plays for Dutch side Twente. Tytoń made his senior debut with Hetman Zamość in 2004. He has since played for several other clubs in the Polish league, including Wisła Kraków, Jagiellonia Białystok, and Ruch Chorzów.

Tytoń joined Dutch side Twente in 2015. He has made several appearances for the Polish national team, including at the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 European Championship.

Wout Brama is a Dutch international defensive midfielder who currently plays for Twente. Brama started his career at hometown club PH Almelo, before moving to Dutch giants Jong FC Twente in 1999.

Brama has represented his country at various youth levels, and made his senior debut in 2006. Brama has been an important part of Twente's midfield over the past few seasons, and is currently their captain.

Boschker was born on October 20th, 1970 in Lichtenvoorde, Netherlands. He began his footballing career at local team Longa '30 before signing with Dutch side Twente in 1990.

Boschker spent 10 years with Twente, making over 350 appearances. He won the Eredivisie title with the club in 1998. Boschker then spent two seasons with PSV Eindhoven, before joining AZ Alkmaar in 2006.

Boschker spent four seasons with AZ, making over 100 appearances. He then joined FC Utrecht in 2010, retiring from professional football in 2014. Boschker has since been working as a goalkeeping coach with several Dutch clubs.

He is also a member of the Dutch national team, having made over 30 appearances. Boschker is currently a goalkeeping coach with FC Utrecht. 

Sander Boschker is a Dutch footballer who most notably played for Dutch side Twente. Boschker has also played for Dutch side Ajax, but did not feature in any league matches for the club.

Blaise Nkufo is a striker who played for Switzerland from 1993 to 2007. Nkufo was born in Kinshasa, Zaire in 1975. He started his career with Lausanne in 1993.

Nkufo moved to the Swiss Super League side Echallens in 1995. He joined Al-Arabi in 1996 and spent two seasons with the club. Nkufo signed for Swiss side FC Sion in 2007 and retired from professional football in 2009.

Nkufo has represented his country at senior level and has scored six goals in 16 appearances. He is currently the assistant manager of FC Sion. Nkufo was named in the Swiss Football Federation's Team of the Century in 2009.

Blaise Nkufo is a versatile player who has played in both midfield and defense for a number of clubs in Europe.

Eddy Achterberg was a midfielder who played for FC Twente and FC Groningen. He was born in Utrecht in 1947 and played for the Netherlands at the international level.

Achterberg is a scout for FC Schalke 04. He has 341 caps for the Dutch national team and 40 apps for FC Twente and FC Groningen. Achterberg is retired from professional football and currently works as a scout for FC Schalke 04.

Achterberg began his managerial career at FC Twente, working as an assistant to current Schalke 04 manager, Felix Magath. Achterberg was caretaker manager of Schalke 04 in 2004 before being given the role on a permanent basis the following year.

Achterberg's time at Schalke has been successful, with the club winning the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal in 2011. Achterberg is currently in his fifth season as Schalke 04 manager.

Frans Thijssen was a versatile midfielder who played for NEC Nijmegen, FC Twente, and Ipswich Town in the Netherlands and England. Thijssen made his debut for NEC Nijmegen in 1970 and played 83 games for the club over the next three years.

He joined FC Twente in 1973 and played 167 games for the club over the next three years. Thijssen joined Ipswich Town in 1979 and played 125 games for the club over the next three years. 

Thijssen won the Dutch Cup with NEC Nijmegen in 1972 and the Eredivisie with FC Twente in 1975.

He played for the Netherlands at the 1974 and 1978 World Cups. Thijssen retired from football in 1983. Thijssen is currently a football coach. 

Frans Thijssen was a very versatile player who was able to play in midfield or as a forward. He was a key member of the Dutch national team and helped the Netherlands win the 1974 and 1978 World Cups.

Nico-Jan Hoogma is a Dutch defender who has played for clubs in both his native Netherlands and in Italy. 

Hoogma has represented his country at both the major international tournaments, the World Cup and the European Championships.

In 2016, Hoogma joined Serie A side Bologna on a two-year deal. Hoogma has a reputation for being a hard-tackling defender, and he has been praised for his composure on the ball. 

Hoogma is likely to retire at the end of the 2016-17 season, after which he will be inducted into the Dutch Football Hall of Fame.

Hoogma is the son of former footballer and manager Nico Hoogma. Hoogma has two children, a son and a daughter. In his spare time, Hoogma enjoys playing golf. 

Nico-Jan Hoogma was a Dutch professional footballer who played as a midfielder for Cambuur, Twente, Hamburger SV and Heracles. He started his career with Cambuur, before moving to Twente in 1992.

There, he won the Eredivisie title in 1998 and the KNVB Cup in 2000. He then transferred to Hamburger SV where he spent six seasons, before joining Heracles in 2006. 

He retired at the end of the 2008-09 season. He made his international debut in 1996, and played at the 1998 World Cup and the 2002 World Cup. He was named in the Dutch squad for the 2006 World Cup, but did not feature in the tournament.

He is the father of Jordy Hoogma, who is also a professional footballer. Hoogma was born in the Netherlands, and is of Surinamese descent. 

He is a devout Christian, and regularly gives presentations on faith to young people. Hoogma was honoured with the IFFHS World Team of the Year award in 2000.

Epi Drost was a Dutch football goalkeeper. He played for FC Wageningen and the Netherlands national team. He received the KNVB Cup in 1977. He died of a heart attack in 1995.

Epi Drost played for FC Twente from 1980 to 1982 and also represented the Netherlands in international competition. Drost was a versatile player who was able to play as a midfielder or as a defender.

After leaving Twente, Drost embarked on a managerial career, first with RBC and later with STEVO. Drost is currently the manager of amateur side FC Oss.

Kick van der Vall was diagnosed with dementia in 2016 and died in February of the same year. Kick van der Vall was a Dutch international footballer who played for Feyenoord, FC Twente and Vitesse.

He was one of the most consistent strikers in Dutch football throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Kick van der Vall began his football career with Feyenoord, where he made over 350 appearances and scored 67 goals. Following spells at FC Twente and Vitesse, he retired in 1991. 

Kick van der Vall was a prolific goalscorer, who is considered one of the greatest Dutch strikers of all time.

He is also the all-time leading scorer in the Dutch Eredivisie and the Dutch Cup. Kick van der Vall was a member of the Dutch national team, and played in the 1974 and 1978 World Cups. He also played in the UEFA Euro 1976 and the 1988 European Championships. 

Kick van der Vall was honoured with a statue in his home town of Rotterdam in 2007. He was also awarded an honorary doctorate by The University of Utrecht in 2014.

Kick van der Vall is a co-founder of the Dutch charity foundation Het Korps Zorgkundigen (The Corps of Health Care Professionals). 

The foundation raises money for children's hospitals and medical facilities around the world. Kick van der Vall is married to Dutch actress Marit van der Velde, and they have two children. Kick van der Vall died in May 2016, at the age of 75.

Niels Overweg was a defender who played for DWS in the Netherlands from 1967-1972. Overweg was a part of the side that won the Dutch championship in 1972 and was a part of the side that reached the semi-finals of the European Champions Cup in 1971.

After retiring from playing Overweg became a football coach. He has coached teams such as Ajax, NEC, Feyenoord and AZ Alkmaar. Overweg was named Dutch Footballer of the Year in 1980 and 1982. Overweg was inducted into the Dutch Football Hall of Fame in 2003.

Niels Overweg was born in Amsterdam on 15 May 1948. Overweg was a successful manager in the Netherlands, leading Vitesse to two Eredivisie titles and third place in the 1990-91 season. 

He then moved to England to take charge of FC Twente, where he led the team to the Eredivisie title in his first season.

He left FC Twente after only two seasons to take over at Telstar, where he remained for three years before moving to Cambuur in 1995.

He was appointed as manager of the Netherlands national team in February 2016. He led the team to the semi-finals of the UEFA European Championship in France, but they were eliminated by Portugal. 

He resigned from his position after the tournament, citing personal reasons. Overweg is currently the manager of Vitesse Arnhem in the Dutch Eredivisie.

Piet Schrijvers was born on 15 December 1946 in Jutphaas, Netherlands. He started his career with HVC in 1963, and then played for DWS from 1965 to 1968.

He joined FC Twente in 1968, and played for them until 1974. He then joined Ajax in 1974, and stayed with them until 1983. He then moved to Zwolle, and played for them until 1985.

Piet Schrijvers was capped 56 times for the Netherlands, scoring one goal. He retired from football in 1983, and died on 7 September 2022 at the age of 75. Piet Schrijvers was a successful manager in the Dutch football league system.

He was appointed manager of FC Wageningen in 1987 and led the club to promotion to the Eredivisie in 1989. 

Schrijvers then had a two-year spell in charge of TOP Oss, before moving on to AZ in 1995. He was dismissed by AZ after just one season in charge, and later took charge of FC Zwolle.

In his six years in charge of Dutch clubs, Schrijvers won three championship titles and two Dutch Cups. Schrijvers made his international debut in 1974 and played at the FIFA World Cup later that year. 

He went on to make 14 appearances for the Netherlands, including appearances at the European Championship and the UEFA Euro 1996.

Schrijvers retired from playing football in 1998, and took up a managerial role with FC Zwolle. He left Zwolle in 2001, and has since been working as a scout for FC Twente.

Kalle Oranen started his career with hometown club Boekelo before moving to Rotterdam to join Feyenoord in 1968. He spent nine seasons with Feyenoord before joining PSV Eindhoven in 1976.
