FC Shakhtar Donetsk is one of the most storied and successful football teams in Ukraine. Founded in 1936, the club has become a symbol of the city of Donetsk and has won numerous domestic and international honors. Costa is a Brazilian international winger who has played for Grêmio, Shakhtar Donetsk and Bayern Munich since 2008. He joined LA Galaxy in 2018. Costa started his career at Novo Hamburgo before joining Grêmio in 2008 where he made over 135 appearances and scored 29 goals.

After spending two seasons with Shakhtar Donetsk, Costa signed for Bayern Munich in 2015 where he made 50 appearances and helped the club win the Bundesliga title that season.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is a Armenian international footballer who plays for Italian club Inter Milan. He began his career at Pyunik in 1995, and made over 100 appearances for the club before moving to Manchester United in 2015.

He has won Armenia's top honour, the Armenian Premier League title, on three occasions (2009, 2012, 2017). In February 2018 he signed with Inter Milan on a two-and-a-half year contract worth €30 million.

Dodô is a Brazilian full-back who started his career at Taubaté. In 2017, he was part of the Brazil U20 side that won the South American Youth Championship.

Darijo Srna is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a right wing-back for Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk. Srna made his professional debut with Neretva Metković in 1997, before joining Hajduk Split the following year.

Răzvan Raț is a Romanian football defender who has played for several clubs, most notably Rapid Piatra-Olt, FC U Craiova and Sporting Pitești.
