Keylor Navas is a goalkeeper for Paris Saint-Germain and he has played for them since 2012. Keylor Navas started his career at Saprissa in Costa Rica before moving to Albacete in Spain.

He made his Champions League debut in 2010 and has been a regular member of the PSG team ever since, winning the title in 2018. 

Keilor Navas was named the best goalkeeper at the 2017–18 season's Ligue 1 Awards Ceremony and was also voted as PSG's Player of The Year that same year by fans across Europe.

Joseph Mora is a left-back who currently plays for Charlotte FC in the United States. He started his career with Liga ACB side Alajuelense before moving to MLS club D.C.

United in 2018. In 2021, he joined English Championship side Brighton & Hove Albion on loan until the end of the season.

Allan Cruz is a 26-year-old Costa Rican midfielder who currently plays for FC Cincinnati in the United States. Cruz started his career with his hometown club Nicoya before moving to Cartaginés of Costa Rica's top flight in 2016.

He made 14 appearances and scored 1 goal during that season as Cartaginés narrowly avoided relegation. In 2017, Cruz signed with Liga MX side Toluca FCD on a six-month loan deal and made 7 appearances, scoring one goal. 

After returning to Toluca from his loan spell, he helped them win their first-ever Apertura title (the Mexican league's winter season) as well as reach the semifinal stage of the Copa Libertadores.

Hernán Medford was born in San Jose, Costa Rica in 1968. He began his career with Barrio México in 1980, before joining Saprissa in 1987. He joined Dinamo Zagreb in 1990 and played for them until 1991.

He then joined Rapid Wien the following year, where he stayed until 1996. He then moved to Herediano in the Costa Rican top flight in 1998. 

He has since been the club's manager since 2010. He has made 101 appearances for Saprissa, Dinamo Zagreb, Rapid Wien and Herediano.

He was Costa Rica's captain for the 1998 FIFA World Cup. He is currently Herediano's manager and captain. Hernán Medford is a former football player who played for clubs such as Rayo Vallecano, Foggia and Saprissa. Medford is currently the manager of Honduran side Real España.

He has also had spells coaching in Costa Rica, Mexico and Nicaragua. Medford has amassed a total of 505 appearances for his country, including 135 internationals. 

In 2006, he was named manager of Costa Rica's national team. He left his post with the Costa Rican national team in 2014.

Paulo Wanchope is a Costa Rican international striker who has played for a number of top-flight teams in England and Spain. He first played for Hisediano in the Costa Rican Primera División before moving to English side Derby County in 1997.

Rónald Gómez is a Costa Rican footballer who currently plays for Santa Lucía. Gómez started his career with Carmelita before joining Alajuelense. He joined Sporting Gijón in 1997 but only made two appearances for the club.

He then moved to Hercules but only played 11 games for them. In 1999, Gómez joined OFI Crete. He helped the club win the Greek Cup in 2002. He left Crete in 2003 to join Al Qadsia. 

Gómez made his Costa Rican debut in 1998 and has since made over 100 appearances for his country.

He was part of the Costa Rica squad that reached the quarterfinals of the 2002 World Cup. Gómez is currently manager of Santa Lucía. 

Gómez started his career at Costa Rica's top club, Saprissa, before moving to Greek side APOEL in 2006. He made his international debut in 1993, and has since made 93 appearances for Costa Rica.

In 2009, Gómez moved to Santos de Guápiles in his native country. He helped Santos win the Costa Rican league title in his first season in charge. In November 2011, he was appointed manager of Deportivo Cartagena in his home country. 

He led the team to promotion to the Costa Rican Primera División, but was sacked in September 2012.

In December 2013, Gómez was appointed manager of Halcones, who were playing in the Segunda División. 

He led the club to promotion to the Primera División in his first season in charge. In May 2016, Gómez was appointed manager of Xelajú, who were playing in the Segunda División. He led Xelajú to promotion to the Primera División in his first season in charge.

In May 2018, Gómez was appointed manager of Malacateco, who were playing in the Segunda División. He led Malacateco to promotion to the Primera División in his first season in charge. 

Gómez has also worked as an assistant manager with Costa Rica, helping the team to qualify for the World Cup in Russia. Gómez is currently the manager of Costa Rica's national team.

Luis Gabelo Conejo is a Costa Rican goalkeeper who has played for clubs in his homeland and in Europe. He first made a name for himself as a goalkeeper for Club Deportivo Saprissa, and then played for Zaragoza, Valencia and Atlético Madrid in Spain.

Alejandro Morera was born on July 14, 1909 in Alajuela, Costa Rica. Morera started his career with Alajuelense, scoring 39 goals in 47 appearances. He joined Costa Rican side Deportivo Saprissa in 1927, and helped them win the Costa Rican league title in his debut season.

Morera played for Saprissa until 1939, winning the Costa Rican league title on three occasions. He represented Costa Rica at the 1938 World Cup, and scored Costa Rica's first ever World Cup goal in a 2-1 victory over Mexico. 

Morera retired from football in 1939, and returned to his home country to manage Alajuelense.

He died on March 26, 1995 aged 85. Alejandro Morera is Costa Rica's most successful football manager, having led his country to the quarterfinals of the 2002 World Cup and a Copa America victory in 2007. 

Morera started his managerial career in 1941 with Costa Rica, and went on to manage Costa Rican clubs Alajuelense, Espanyol, Barcelona and Le Havre.

Morera was appointed head coach of Costa Rica in 2006 and led the country to their first World Cup appearance in 32 years. He retired as Costa Rica manager in 2012, but was appointed as an advisor to the new national team coach, Jorge Sampaoli. 

He was born in San José, Costa Rica, on December 9, 1942. Alejandro Morera passed away on September 13, 2016.

Brown Forbes is a versatile forward who can play as a centre forward or on the left wing. Felicio Brown Forbes is a Brazilian attacking midfielder who currently plays for Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala. Forbes was born on 9th of October, 1992, in São Paulo, Brazil.

After starting his career at hometown club São Paulo, Forbes joined German side Rot-Weiß Oberhausen in 2011. 

He made his Bundesliga debut for Oberhausen on 15th of September, 2011, in a 3-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt. Forbes scored his first goal for Oberhausen on 11th of December, 2011, in a 3-1 victory over FSV Frankfurt II.

Forbes transferred to Krylia Sovetov in 2013, where he scored 15 goals in 15 appearances. Forbes joined Ufa in 2014 and helped them win the Russian Cup in his first season. Forbes joined Rostov in 2015, but left them for Arsenal Tula in January of the following year. 

Forbes moved to Anzhi Makhachkala in January of 2018. He has made 22 appearances for them so far, scoring 4 goals.

Diego Campos started his career with Montverde Academy in Florida in the USA. In the 2017 season, Campos moved to Sweden where he played for AIK. Campos joined Chicago Fire in 2018.

Campos has played for the Costa Rica national football team. Campos is a winger and forward. Campos has made appearances for Degerfors in Sweden's top division. Campos is a regular for Chicago Fire in the MLS.

Campos is set to become a US citizen in 2019. Diego Campos is a Costa Rican international footballer who most recently played for SIMA Aguilas in the Costa Rican Primera División.

Juan Cayasso started his professional career with Alajuelense in 1981. He moved to Saprissa in 1988 and scored 52 goals in 183 appearances for the Costa Rican side.

Cayasso then signed for Stuttgarter Kickers in 1990 but only managed to score 11 goals in 53 appearances for the German side. He then moved to America in 1992 and played for Atlante, Puebla and Cruz Azul before retiring in 1998.

Cayasso made his international debut for Costa Rica in 1984 and went on to make 34 appearances for his country. He retired from professional football in 1998 but has since started coaching. Cayasso is currently the head coach of the Costa Rican national team.

He was named the Costa Rican Footballer of the Year in 1994 and 2005. Cayasso was also named the Costa Rican Footballer of the Century in 2000.
