The Portland Timbers are an iconic American professional soccer club based out of Portland, Oregon. Founded in 2011, the Timbers have been a major part of Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member club of the league’s Western Conference.

Since 2011, the Timbers have been playing their home games at Providence Park, creating an atmosphere of passionate supporters and a thriving soccer culture. The Timbers have been successful in the MLS, winning the MLS Cup in 2015, the MLS Supporters’ Shield in 2018, and the U.S. Open Cup in 2018.

Urruti is a striker who currently plays for Austin FC. He began his career with Newell's Old Boys in 2011, and has been very successful in Argentina and Chile.

Urruti represented the Argentine national team at youth levels before making his senior debut in 2013. He is known for his powerful striking ability, as well as accurate passing abilities out of the box.

Urruti is one of the most promising strikers in South American football, and could be a major star in years to come Maximiliano Urruti is a highly talented Argentine footballer who currently plays for FC Dallas.

Urruti has spent the majority of his career playing in Spain, but he has also had time with Portland Timbers and Montreal Impact. He was originally signed by FC Dallas as a Designated Player in February of 2018, and he's been an important part of their attack ever since.

His contract with FC Dallas runs until 2020, so there's plenty of football left to be played from him at this stage in his career. It'll be interesting to see where Urruti goes next – hopefully it'll be back to one of Europe's top clubs.

Jack McInerney is a forward who has played for Philadelphia Union and Montreal Impact in his career. He was born on August 5, 1992, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

McInerney started playing football at the Cobb Futbol Club when he was just six years old and went on to play college football at Vanderbilt University before joining MLS side Philadelphia Union in 2010.

In addition to playing professionally, Jack also spent time on loan with Harrisburg City Islanders and Montreal Impact before signing for Columbus Crew SC in 2015.

Joe Bendik is a goalkeeper for the Philadelphia Union. He was originally drafted by Columbus Crew in 2010 but never played for them before moving to Philadelphia last year.

Joe has experience playing at both MLS level and in Europe with clubs like Rennes, Hannover 96, and Anderlecht. In 2012, he was voted Major League Soccer Goalkeeper of the Year after leading his team to second place in their division.

Joe's father Bob Bendik also played professional soccer as a goalkeeper and represented United States national team multiple times including at the 1984 Olympics where they reached the semi-finals.[2] Joe married his long time girlfriend Jordan Crookston on October 9th 2017[3].

Joe Bendik has been a dominant goalkeeper in Major League Soccer for the past few years. He was drafted by Toronto FC with the 10th overall pick in the 2010 MLS SuperDraft. 

Joe Bendik made his professional debut with Sogndal, before joining Portland Timbers and then Toronto FC where he established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in North America.

In 2016, Joe Bendik joined Orlando City SC and helped them to win their first major title, the USL Championship. Joe Bendik signed with Columbus Crew SC ahead of the 2019 season and is expected to be one of their key players this year. 

In December 2018, it was announced that Joe Bendik had signed a contract extension with Philadelphia Union which will keep him at club until 2022.

Sebastián Blanco is an attacking midfielder who is currently playing for the Portland Timbers. Blanco began his career with Argentine side River Plate. He joined English side Tottenham Hotspur in 2007 and made over 100 appearances for the club.

Mabiala was born on October 8th, 1987 in Montfermeil, a suburb of Paris, France. He started playing football at a young age and made his senior debut with hometown club US Colomiers in the French second division in 2007.

Mabiala joined English side Fulham in 2009, but was released just a year later. Mabiala then signed for Belgian side Anderlecht, with whom he won the Belgian Pro League and the Belgian Cup in 2013. Mabiala moved to England once again in 2014, this time joining Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.

He made his debut for the Timbers in a 3-2 victory over Real Salt Lake on April 1st, 2019. Mabiala has been a regular member of the French national team since making his debut in 2008. He has earned over 40 caps and was part of the squads that won the 2014 World Cup and the 2018 European Championships.

Yimmi Chará is a 31-year-old Colombian winger who currently plays for Portland Timbers. Chará started his professional career with Centauros Villavicencio, before joining Deportivo Cali in 2011.

He made his international debut for Colombia in 2014, and has since made over 60 appearances for his country. Chará is known for his speed, dribbling ability, and set-piece delivery. Chará is a key part of Portland Timbers' attack, and is currently in his fourth season with the club.

Jarosław Niezgoda is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a striker for Portland Timbers. He started his career at hometown club Poniatowa, before moving to Dutch side ADO Den Haag in 2013.

Felipe Mora is a Chilean striker who is currently playing for the Portland Timbers. Mora was born on August 2, 1993 in Santiago, Chile. Mora started his youth career with Audax Italiano.

Aljaž Ivačič is a Slovenian goalkeeper who currently plays for Portland Timbers in the United States. He started his career at Domžale before moving to Olimpija Ljubljana in 2012.

He made his international debut for Slovenia in 2014 and has since played at Euro 2016 and the 2018 World Cup. He is considered one of the best goalkeepers in the world and is a regular starter for his country.

Will Johnson is a Canadian international footballer who plays as a midfielder for Central Florida Crusaders in the United States. Johnson started his career at Woodridge Storm in the Canadian Soccer League, before moving to Blackburn Rovers in the United Kingdom in 2003.

Johnson made his international debut for Canada in 2007, and has since played at the 2007 and 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cups.

Mikaël Silvestre is a defender who has played for Manchester United, Arsenal and Werder Bremen. He was born in 1977 in Chambray-les-Tours, France. Silvestre made his debut for Rennes in 1996 and played for Inter Milan from 1998 to 1999.

He joined Manchester United in 1999 and made 249 appearances for the club over six seasons. He moved to Arsenal in 2008 and played 26 times before joining Werder Bremen in 2013. He signed for Portland Timbers in 2014 but left the club the following year.

John Bain is a Scottish midfielder who played for Bristol City and Portland Timbers in the 1970s and 1980s. John Bain is most notable for his time at Portland Timbers, where he helped the team win the MLS Cup in 1979.

Bain is also a two-time US Open Cup champion. After retiring from playing, Bain became a coach with the Timbers' youth academy. In December 2017, Bain was appointed head coach of Tacoma Defiance, a USL team. John Bain was born on 23 June 1957.

John Bain played for the Scotland national team from 1978 to 1984. After retiring from playing, Bain became a coach with the Timbers' youth academy. 

In December 2017, Bain was appointed head coach of Tacoma Defiance, a USL team. Bain began his managerial career with the Portland Timbers in 1989, but left after one season to manage the Pride.

He returned to Timbers management in 1991, but was fired after two seasons. Bain then spent three seasons with the Metro before moving to the Pride in 1995. He led the Pride to two league championships and two runner-up finishes before leaving in 1996. 

Bain then spent two seasons with Westside Metro before returning to Portland in 1998. He led Portland to a championship in 2000 and then left to take over as general manager of the Kansas City Wizards.

He left Kansas City after one season to take over as head coach of the Seattle Sounders. Bain led Seattle to their first MLS Cup in 2002, but was fired after the season. He then spent one season as head coach of the Colorado Rapids before retiring.

Clive Charles was born on October 3, 1951 in Dagenham, Essex, England. Charles made his professional debut in 1970 with West Ham United. He remained with the Hammers for three seasons before joining Derby County in 1973.

Charles played for Derby County for two seasons before joining Queens Park Rangers in 1976. He spent five seasons with QPR before moving to Portland Timbers in 1982. Charles made over 350 appearances in the English Premier League and earned 17 caps for England.

He also represented his country at the 1978 World Cup and the 1982 World Cup. Charles died on August 26, 2003 after a long battle with cancer. He was 51 years old. 

Charles was a defender and was known for his commanding presence on the pitch. He is remembered as one of the finest English defenders of his era.

Charles was a two-time winner of the PFA Players' Player of the Year Award. He was also inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame in 2003. 

Charles was a regular member of the England team that reached the semi-finals of the World Cup in 1982. He was also a part of the team that reached the quarter-finals of the tournament in 1986.

Charles remains the second most-capped England defender of all time, behind Billy Wright.

Chinedu Dike was born in 1987 in Edmond, Oklahoma and attended Notre Dame where he played football for the Fighting Irish from 2005-2009. Dike is a forward and played 86 games for Notre Dame, scoring 27 goals and adding 27 assists.

Dike was drafted in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders and he has since played for the Dallas Cowboys, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Detroit Lions. 

Chinedu Dike was named to the Associated Press All-America First Team in 2009 and was a second-team All-American in 2010.

Dike was named to the Pro Football Writers of America All-Rookie Team in 2010. Chinedu Dike was named to the NFLPA All-NFL Team in 2014. Chinedu Dike was named the Oakland Raiders' Most Valuable Player in the 2016 season. Chinedu Dike was traded to the Detroit Lions in the offseason of 2018.

Dike was released by the Detroit Lions in December 2018.

Rodney Wallace is a Costa Rican international footballer who last played for Portland Timbers in the United States. Wallace made his senior international debut for Costa Rica in 2009 and has since earned over 50 caps, scoring six goals.

Alvas Powell is a 28-year-old Jamaican international footballer who currently plays for FC Cincinnati in the United States. Powell was born in Danvers Pen, St.

Thomas, Jamaica and has played for a number of clubs in his career, starting out with Second Division side Kingstonian and then spending time with English side Bristol City, Spanish side Gimnàstic de Tarragona, and most recently, FC Cincinnati.

Boyd was born in Irvine, Scotland in 1983. Boyd started his career with Kilmarnock in 1999. He scored 63 goals in 153 appearances for the club. Boyd joined Rangers in 2006 and he has since scored over 100 goals in total for the club.

Boyd has represented Scotland at international level, and he has also played for Celtic and Dundee United.

Victor Griffith made his professional debut for Portland Timbers 2 in a 1-1 draw against Indy Eleven on 12 July 2019. The 22-year-old Panama City native started his career with hometown club, Panama City FC.

Griffith then signed with Liga MX side, Tigres UANL in January 2019. He made his Tigres debut in a 2-1 loss to Club America on 20 January 2019. Griffith went on to make 11 appearances for Tigres before being loaned to Portland Timbers 2 in May 2019.

Julian Bravo is an American defender who currently plays for Portland Timbers 2. Bravo was born in Claremont, California and attended Claremont High School.

He played college soccer at UCLA, where he was an All-Pac-12 selection in his final season. Bravo signed with Portland Timbers 2 in 2016 and has since made over 50 appearances.

Bravo has also represented the United States at youth international level. He is known for his strong defense and accurate passing. Bravo is a potential candidate for the U.S. national team at the upcoming 2018 World Cup.

The Portland Timbers are an iconic American professional soccer club based out of Portland, Oregon. While the Timbers have had a number of talented players throughout their history, some of the best players to ever wear the Timbers jersey are Diego Valeri, Darlington Nagbe, and Fanendo Adi.
