Founded in 1878, the club has been a mainstay in the English footballing landscape for over a century, competing in the top two tiers of the English football league system. Ipswich Town are currently members of the EFL Championship, and are best known for their FA Cup win in 1978.

Thomas Morris Lawrence was born on 13 January 1994 in Wrexham, Wales. He is a forward and has played for Rangers since 2016. Lawrence made his senior debut with Manchester United in 2013 and has also played for Everton and Liverpool during his career so far.

Tom Lawrence is a talented young midfielder who has had an impressive career in the English Premier League. 

He started his career with Manchester United, but he soon moved on to Carlisle United on loan. He then spent two seasons at Yeovil Town before joining Leicester City in 2014.

Lawrence was part of the Wales squad that won the U21 World Cup in 2015 and 2016. In 2017, he joined Ipswich Town on loan for one season before moving to Derby County in 2018.

Aaron Cresswell is a left-back who currently plays for West Ham United. He was born in Liverpool, England, and began his career with his hometown club Liverpool FC before moving to Tottenham Hotspur in 2012.

Cresswell joined West Ham on a free transfer in the summer of 2019 after leaving Spurs. He has made over 150 appearances for both clubs and won several trophies during his time playing football. 

Aaron Cresswell is known as one of the best defenders in the Premier League and has been awarded many accolades throughout his career including an FA Cup title with Tottenham Hotspur in 2014.

Tommy Smith is a central defender who currently plays for Colchester United. He began his career with Crewe Alexandra before moving to Ipswich Town in 2006.

After making over 100 appearances for Ipswich, he signed for Colchester United in January of 2016. Tommy Smith has represented England at under-21 level and was called up to the senior team for the first time in October of 2017, but did not make an appearance.

With experience playing at both club level and international level, Tommy Smith is considered one of the most promising defenders in English football today Tommy Smith is a versatile midfielder who has played for Ipswich Town, Brentford, Colchester United and Colorado Rapids in his senior career.

He was called up to the England U18 team in 2008 and made three appearances before being dropped later that year. He went on to play for New Zealand at youth level and helped the side win two international tournaments, including the 2010 FIFA World Cup where they reached the semi-finals. 

In August 2020 he signed with Sunderland but hasn't featured for them yet due to an injury sustained during pre-season matches.

Chambers started his career at Middlesbrough and after making over 100 appearances for the club, he was signed by Ipswich Town in 2013. 

Chambers has won two Premier League titles with Ipswich Town (2015, 2017), as well as the FA Cup (2016) and EFL Cup (2017).

He represented England at youth level before making his senior debut in 2010. Chambers announced his retirement from professional football on 2 December 2018 following 18 seasons playing professionally Chambers started his career at Northampton Town, before moving to Nottingham Forest in 2007.

Jonathan Walters is a forward who has played for Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers and the Republic of Ireland. He was born in Merseyside, England in 1983 and started his career at Shaftesbury before moving to Blackburn Rovers in 2000.

In 2001 he joined Bolton Wanderers where he made over 100 appearances before joining the Republic of Ireland in 2013.

Asmir Begović is a goalkeeper who currently plays for Everton. Asmir Begović was born in Trebinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1987. Asmir Begović played youth football with FC Kirchhausen before moving to Southwest Sting Edmonton in 1998.

In 2004, Asmir Begović signed for Portsmouth where he made over 100 appearances during his time there. After leaving Portsmouth, Asmir Begovic rejoined Southwest Sting Edmonton before joining Everton in 2015.

Ryan Fraser is a Scottish winger who currently plays for Newcastle United. Fraser was born in Aberdeen, Scotland on 24 February 1994. He started his youth career at hometown club Aberdeen before moving to English side Northampton Town in 2011.

After impressing during a loan spell with Scunthorpe United, Newcastle signed Ryan Fraser in January 2014 and he has since made over 100 appearances for the Magpies.

Adam Webster started his career at local side Chichester City before moving to Brighton & Hove Albion in the summer of 2018. He has played for England at under-16, 17 and 19 levels, but opted to represent Bermuda at senior level after being called up by coach David Florizone.

Webster made his debut for Bermuda on 6 February 2019 in a friendly match against Guyana which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Frans Thijssen was a versatile midfielder who played for NEC Nijmegen, FC Twente, and Ipswich Town in the Netherlands and England. Thijssen made his debut for NEC Nijmegen in 1970 and played 83 games for the club over the next three years.

Alan Brazil is a Scottish footballer who played as a forward in the Premier League for Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United. Brazil began his career at Celtic Boys Club before moving to Ipswich Town in 1976.

He made his senior debut for Ipswich in 1978 and went on to play 154 league games for the club. In 1983, he moved to Tottenham Hotspur where he spent three seasons. He then moved to Manchester United in 1984 and played 31 games for the club.

He retired from playing in 1986. After his retirement, Brazil became a coach at Manchester United. He left the club in 2007 and has since been coaching in Ecuador.

Ray Crawford is a former English footballer who played as a striker. Crawford started his career at Portsmouth, before moving to Ipswich Town in 1958. Crawford was a prolific goalscorer during his time at Ipswich, and helped the club to promotion to the Premier League in 1963.

Crawford retired from football in 1973, and later worked as a football coach. Crawford was named in the Football League 100 Greatest Players list in 2004.

Romeo Zondervan was born on 4 March 1959 in Paramaribo, Suriname. He played for several teams during his career, most notably Feyenoord, PSV Eindhoven, and PSV Eindhoven II.

He retired from professional football in 2001. Zondervan has since worked as a football coach. He is currently the head coach of Jong Feyenoord. Zondervan is a member of the Surinamese national football team.

Frank Yallop is a former professional footballer who played as a defender. Yallop started his career with Ipswich Town in the 1980s. He went on to play for Blackpool on a loan deal in 1995.

Yallop is a former England international and made his debut in a 0-0 draw against Hungary in 1986. He was part of the Ipswich team that won the FA Cup in 1984 and the UEFA Cup in 1987.
