Pope is a defender who played for D.C. United from 1996 to 2002. Pope helped the team win two MLS Cup titles in 1997 and 1999, as well as four U.S Open Cups during his time with the club.

In 2000, he was named an all-star player of the year and helped lead DC United to their first Supporters' Shield title that season. In 2003, Pope left D.C., signing with New England Revolution where he spent two seasons before retiring at the end of 2005 season due to injury.

Pope has also represented North Carolina State University (NCSU) in college soccer and made one appearance for the United States national team in 1998 but did not score any goals or assists during his time on international duty.

Pope married his wife Allison on January 12th, 2010 after they had been dating since 2006.

Harkes was a midfielder for the 1985-1987 Virginia Cavaliers. He then played for the MetroStars of Major League Soccer from 1993 to 1996 and coached FC Cincinnati in 2016.

Harkes has also coached at Rutgers University, The Ohio State University, and Clemson University.[1] John Harkes was born on September 20th, 1973 in Albany, New York. 

John Harkes began his career as a youth player with the Albany Capitals in the American Professional Soccer League (APSL).

He then played for Sheffield Wednesday and Derby County before joining West Ham United on loan in 1995. After leaving England, John Harkes spent two seasons with Nottingham Forest before returning to Columbus Crew for another two-year stint. 

In 2002, he joined the US National Team and has since made 90 appearances, scoring 6 goals including 2 at World Cup Qualifying matches against Panama and Trinidad & Tobago respectively in 2000.

After retiring from international football following the 2006 Confederations Cup victory over Brazil, John Harkes enjoyed a successful managerial tenure with New York Red Bulls where they won both their.

Eastern Conference championship and Supporters' Shield during his first season in charge of them despite finishing third overall behind Chelsea and Manchester City that year.

He departed after one year to take up an assistant coaching role at FC Cincinnati under former teammate Jesse Marsch who had been appointed head coach there prior to him taking up that post full time later that year.

Christian Benteke is a Belgian international striker who currently plays for D.C. United in the United States. He started his career with JS Pierreuse before moving to Standard Liège and Genk, where he made over 130 appearances between 2006 and 2013.

In January 2014, Benteke joined Aston Villa on a five-and-a-half-year contract for a reported £32 million ($45 million). However, he only made eight appearances for Villa before being loaned out to Liverpool in September of that year. 

After six months at Anfield, Benteke was sold to Crystal Palace in June 2015; however, he only played nine times during his time at Selhurst Park and was subsequently released by Palace in January 2016 after failing to agree terms on a new contract.

Finally, Benteke moved back to Belgium and signed with Lille ahead of the 2016–17 season; however, he failed to score in 14 league games before being loaned out again – this time to Wolfsburg – midway through the season.

At the end of November 2017 it was announced that Benteke had rejoined DC United on an initial one-year deal. Christian has scored 34 goals from 111 senior club appearances.

He is also capped 81 times, scoring 10 goals including two against Spain when they met at Euro 2012 as well as playing all three matches (including penalties) at the World Cup 2010 held in South Africa making him eligible for selection into Belgium's. '

Pontius was born in 1987 and played youth football for Irvine Strikers. Pontius attended Servite High School where he was a four-year starter, scoring 54 goals in 135 games.

Pontius then went on to play college soccer at UC Santa Barbara before transferring to D.C United in 2007. In his first three seasons with D.C., Pontius scored 23 goals and added 16 assists while being named an All-Star once and leading the team to the playoffs twice (2008, 2009).

After two successful years with Daley Blind as captain of United's midfield, Pontius departed for Philadelphia Union during the 2013 season after five years with DC United totaling 105 appearances, 36 goals and 26 assists across all competitions including MLS Cup Playoffs appearances both times he has been part of them (2007 & 2008).

Pontius won the Lamar Hunt U20 World Cup Golden Boot award in 2005 alongside Landon Donovan as well as being named MVP of that year's CONCACAF Under 20 Championship tournament. 

Which Mexico won – becoming only the second player from outside Europe/South America ever to win such a prestigious title behind Pelé himself who had lifted it back in 1958.

Etcheverry was born in 1970 in Bolivia and started his career playing for Tahuichi Academy. He moved to Chile to play for Universidad de Chile and then to Argentina to play for River Plate.

He moved to Europe to play for Valencia and then to Barcelona. He moved to America to play for Los Angeles Galaxy. He retired from professional football in 2003. Etcheverry has been a member of the Bolivia national team and played 81 times.

He was a part of the team that won the Copa America in Ecuador in 2001. He played for Barcelona in the Champions League in 2002 and 2003. 

He has won two La Liga titles (1997 and 2001) and two Spanish Cups (1997 and 2001). Etcheverry started his professional career at Club Bolívar in 1989.

Jaime Moreno is a former Bolivian international footballer who played as a forward. Moreno made his professional debut with Sporting Cristal in 1995 and went on to play for several other Bolivian clubs, including Cruz Azul, La Equidad, and Universitario.
