Ole Selnæs is a Norwegian footballer who currently plays for Swiss side Zürich. Selnæs made his senior debut in 2009 for Rosenborg, and has since played for several other Norwegian clubs before joining Zürich in 2016.

Selnæs has played primarily as a defensive midfielder for his career, but has also been used as a striker and in central defence. 

Selnæs has represented Norway at under-17, under-19, and under-21 levels, and has also played for the full Norway national team.

Selnæs signed for Zürich in 2016, and has since made over 100 appearances for the club. Selnæs has won two Norwegian Premier League titles with Rosenborg, and also played in the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League. 

Selnæs is one of the most capped players in Norwegian history, having made over 100 appearances for his country.

Selnæs is set to retire at the end of the 2019 season. Selnæs was born in Trondheim, Norway, in 1994.

Kjetil Rekdal is a former Norwegian footballer who played as a midfielder. Rekdal started his career with Fiksdal/Rekdal before joining Borussia Mönchengladbach in 1988.

He spent most of his career with Molde, making 181 appearances over nine seasons. Rekdal joined Rennes on a loan in 1997, before moving to Hertha BSC the following year. He retired in 2000 after winning Norwegian Cup with Molde.

Rekdal made 64 appearances for Hertha BSC before retiring. Rekdal has since been working as a football coach. He was named Norwegian Footballer of the Year in 1996. Rekdal is the father of footballers Espen Rekdal and Odd Rekdal.

Kjetil Rekdal is a Norwegian football manager and former player. Kjetil Rekdal played as a midfielder for Vålerenga and also managed the club from 2001 to 2006. After leaving Vålerenga, Kjetil Rekdal had a stint in charge of Lierse before returning to Vålerenga in 2007.

He then led Aalesund to the Norwegian Premier League title in his first season in charge, before moving on to Rosenborg the following year. 

He has also managed Start and Ham-Kam in the Norwegian second tier. Kjetil Rekdal was born in Oslo in 1969. He is the son of former Vålerenga player Rune Rekdal.

Kjetil Rekdal has represented Norway at international level, making 83 appearances and scoring 17 goals. Kjetil Rekdal will be in charge of Start in the Norwegian Premier League in the 2019 season.

John Carew is a Norwegian international striker who has played for Aston Villa, Rosenborg, and Vålerenga in his career. Carew was born in Lørenskog in 1979 and started playing football at a young age.

He made his professional debut with Vålerenga in 1997 and went on to score 43 goals in 173 appearances for the club before joining Rosenborg in 1999. 

Carew made his international debut for Norway in 2002 and has since scored 34 goals in 87 appearances, including a goal in the 2006 World Cup Final.

He joined Aston Villa in 2008 and has since helped the club to win the FA Cup in 2010 and the League Cup in 2013. Carew is currently with Rosenborg and has scored six goals in 25 appearances for the club this season. 

John Carew is a key player for Norway and is expected to play a part in Norway's upcoming World Cup campaign.

He is a hard-working and skillful striker who is known for his strong heading ability. John Carew is a well-respected player and is a popular figure in the Norwegian football community.

Final Words

Rosenborg BK has produced some of the most successful and iconic players in Norwegian football history. From Henning Berg to John Carew, the club has always been blessed with talent and this has been evident in the number of awards and accolades received by its players.

However, it is difficult to select just a few stand-out players from the club’s illustrious history, as there have been so many superstars who have graced the pitch for Rosenborg. Nevertheless, some of the best Rosenborg players of all time include Henning Berg, John Carew, Erik Thorstvedt, Jan Åge Fjørtoft and Ole Gunnar Solskjær.
