Brandon O'Neill is a 28-year-old Australian defensive midfielder who currently plays for Newcastle Jets. He began his youth career with ECU Joondalup before joining Perth Glory in 2011.

In 2012, he moved to Europe and signed with Belgian side Royal Antwerp on a two-and-a-half year contract. He made his professional debut during the 2013–14 season, appearing in 16 matches as Antwerp finished eighth in the Jupiler Pro League table.

Joshua Brillante is a 29-year-old Australian defender who currently plays for Melbourne Victory. He started his career with the Bundaberg Waves in 2006 and later played for the Bundaberg Spirit before joining Gold Coast United in 2009.

Brillante made his international debut for Australia in 2013 and was part of their squad that competed at the AFC U19 Championships that same year. 

Joshua has been praised for his strong defensive play both domestically and internationally, earning him a place in the A-League All Stars team on several occasions.

Grant started his youth career with Sydney FC, making over 100 appearances for the club before moving to Newcastle Jets in 2013. Grant made a huge impact at Newcastle Jets and helped them reach the A-League playoffs in 2014/15.

He then moved to Melbourne Victory in 2016. At Melbourne Victory, Grant was part of an Australian international side that reached the 2017 AFC Champions League Final, where they lost 2–1 against Júbilo Iwata. 

After two seasons with Melbourne Victory, Grant signed for Sydney FC on a three-year deal in January 2019.

Jack Rodwell is a 31-year-old English centre back who currently plays for Sydney FC. Jack Rodwell started his career at Everton, before moving to Manchester City in 2012.

In 2014, he joined Sunderland and has since made 67 appearances for the club. Rodwell was capped 16 times by England between 2007 and 2012, but has not represented his country since 2015 due to injury problems.

Simon Colosimo is a defender who has played for Carlton, South Melbourne, Manchester City and Perth Glory in his career. Colosimo has represented Australia at youth level and made his senior debut for South Melbourne in 2000.

Dwight Yorke is a former English footballer who played as a forward for Aston Villa, Manchester United, Blackburn Rovers, and Portsmouth. Yorke was born in Trinidad and Tobago, and moved to England at the age of five.

Vítězslav Lavička was born on 30 April 1963 in Plzeň, Czechoslovakia. He played for Plzeň and Sparta Prague in his youth and joined Hradec Králové in 1990.
