Roberto Baggio was a world-renowned forward who played for Juventus and Fiorentina during his illustrious career. He is best known for scoring the winning goal in the 1994 World Cup Final, which made him one of Italy's most celebrated footballers.

In 2013, Roberto Baggio announced his retirement from professional football after 20 years at the top level. Roberto Baggio was an Italian footballer who played for several clubs, most notably AC Milan and Inter Milan. 

Roberto Baggio is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in history, with many calling him "the best ever".

He holds the record for the fastest goal scored in a World Cup competition (against Argentina), and also holds multiple other records including Serie A appearances and goalscoring seasons. 

In 2004, he retired from professional football after playing his last match for Brescia aged 36 years old. Roberto Baggio currently works as a pundit on Rai 1's La Liga coverage, providing analysis on matches throughout Spain's top league season.

Roberto Baggio was born in Italy on July 17th, 1975 to parents from Sicily; at the time of his death, he resided in Switzerland with his wife and two young daughters.

Daniele Adani was born on 10 July 1974 in Correggio, Italy. He started his career at Modena before moving to Lazio in 1994. At Lazio, he played 48 games over two seasons and didn't score any goals.

In 1997, he joined AS Roma where he would play for seven seasons until 2006 when he retired from playing professionally. 

After retiring from playing professionally, Adani took up coaching positions with several teams including Reggina and Parma before joining Sampdoria as their head coach in December 2016 Daniele Adani played for Brescia from 1994 to 1999 and then moved on to Fiorentina, where he played for another four years.

After leaving Fiorentina, Adani spent a year at Inter Milan before returning to Brescia in 2004. He scored 13 goals during his time with the club before announcing his retirement in 2006. 

Adani then took up a coaching role at Empoli until 2008, when he was appointed assistant manager of Vicenza following the departure of Cesare Prandelli to Italy's national team. In January 2012, it was announced that Adani would take over as head coach of Vicenza following the sacking of Davide Ballardini.

Ahmad Benali is a central midfielder who currently plays for Brescia in Italy. Ahmad began his career at Manchester City, making 74 appearances and scoring six goals during his time there.

He moved to Brescia in January of 2018 after spending the previous season on loan with them from Juventus. Ahmad has represented Algeria at youth level but has not yet made an appearance for the senior side.

He is considered one of the most promising midfielders in Europe and could reach great heights if he continues to develop as expected Ahmad Benali is a Moroccan international footballer who has played for Manchester City and Brescia.

He started his career at Moroccan side Moghreb Tétouan before moving to England to play for Manchester City's youth team in 2008. He made his senior debut for Brescia in 2015, after being loaned from Palermo the previous season. 

Ahmad Benali represented Libya at international level between 2012 and 2016, scoring three goals in eight appearances.

In 2018 he joined Crotone on a one-year loan, where he helped them reach Serie A promotion as champions; after the season ended he returned to Pisa on another short-term deal. Ahmad Benali is currently contracted to Brescia until 2022.

Mangraviti is a talented young midfielder who has been in fine form for Brescia this season. He started his career at hometown club Brescia before moving to Juventus aged just 16.

Mangraviti then spent two seasons on loan at Hellas Verona, where he made over 50 appearances and helped the club qualify for Europe for the first time in their history. Mangraviti joined Real Madrid prior to the 2016-17 season but failed to make an appearance for Los Blancos due to injury.

He later rejoined Brescia ahead of the 2018-19 campaign and has since featured prominently in midfield. Mangraviti represented Italy at under-16, under-18, U21 level and even made one appearance for their senior side earlier this year against Malta. 

With maturity coming into his game and plenty of experience behind him, Mangravita looks set to be a key player in Italian football for years to come.

Gheorghe Hagi is a Romanian football midfielder who played for several clubs in his career, most notably Farul Constanța and Luceafărul Bucureşti. He was part of the Romania national team that reached the semi-finals of the 1990 World Cup.

After starting out at FC Constanţa, he spent two seasons at Luceafărul Bucureşti before rejoining FC Constanţa in 1982. In 1983 he helped his club reach the Romanian Cup final but they were defeated by CSA Steaua Bucharest. 

His form with FC Constanţa led to interest from abroad and he moved to Spain to play for Valencia CF in 1984–85 season where he won La Liga and Copa del Rey titles as well as being named Spanish Player of The Year awardee.

He then returned to Romania and signed for Dinamo Bucureşti where he remained until 1996 when he retired from professional football after playing 54 games for Dinamo (including 33 appearances in UEFA Champions League). 

In 2006, Gheorghe Hagi was voted 14th greatest footballer ever by French magazine L’Equipe.[2] During his international career, Hagi made 94 appearances scoring 28 goals. 

He represented Romania at Euro 1988,[3] Euro 1992 Euro 1996,[5] South Africa 2010 and Brazil 2014.

Hamšík started his career at Jupie Podlavice in the Czech Republic. He joined Napoli in 2016 and has since become a key part of their midfield. Hamšík is known for his hard work on the pitch, as well as his ability to score goals from set-pieces.

His contract with Trabzonspor expires in 2021 and there are rumours that he could be leaving Turin soon. Hamšík would be an excellent signing for any club looking to strengthen their midfield options, and will no doubt continue to improve over the next few years. 

Marek Hamšík is a Slovak professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Serie A club Napoli and the Slovakia national team.

Hamšík began his career at Slovan Bratislava, before moving to Italian side Brescia in 2004. He then joined Napoli in 2007 where he has since made over 100 appearances and won two league titles. In 2019, Hamšík moved to the newly-promoted. 

Turkish club Dalian Professional after leaving Napoli. He will be looking to help them avoid relegation this season. 

Hamšík represented Slovakia at youth level, making six appearances between 2002 and 2004 inclusive before earning his first senior call up in 2006 for the U21s.

After winning back-to-back league titles with Napoli in 2018 and 2019, Hamšík was named Serie A Player of the Year both years by Italy's La Gazzetta dello.

Hamšiik has been capped 136 times by Slovakia since debuting against Hungary U17 in 2003.

Andrea Pirlo is an Italian midfielder who currently plays for the Turkish club Fatih Karagümrük. Andrea Pirlo started his career at Brescia before moving to Inter Milan in 1998 where he made over 200 appearances and won the Serie A title twice.

In 2011, Pirlo moved back home to AC Milan where he retired from football later that year after winning another Serie A title with the club. 

Andrea has been capped 74 times by Italy and was a member of their successful 2006 World Cup squad, as well as their team that finished fourth at the 2010 World Cup.

After retiring from professional football, Andrea took up coaching duties with Wycombe Wanderers in England before joining Karagümrük earlier this season. 

Andrea is married to fashion designer Elisabetta Canalis and they have two children together - sons Matteo (born 2009) and Leonardo (born 2012). 

Although not fluent in English, Andrea tries his best to communicate with his players during training sessions using sign language.

Marco Delvecchio is a forward who has played for several top-flight teams, including Inter Milan and AC Milan. He initially started his career at his hometown club, Milan, before moving to Inter in 1995.

After spells at Sampdoria and Lazio, he joined AC Milan in 2007 where he won three Serie A titles and the Champions League in 2013/14. In 2015 he moved to Atalanta where he finished his professional career two years later.

Marco Delvecchio was born on 7 April 1973 in Milan, Italy[1]. Having begun his career with local side Milan during the early 1990s, Delvecchio made an impressive switch to Inter ahead of the 1995 season – helping them win their first ever Serie A title that year under manager Bora Milutinovic.

After impressing domestically once more whilst playing for Sampdoria (winning another league title) and Lazio (reaching both domestic cup finals), as well as being named Italian Footballer of the Year twice by various media outlets.

It came as no surprise when rumours circulated linking him with a move back home to ACMilan midway through 2008; eventually happening just days prior to deadline day after protracted negotiations between both clubs had finally come to fruition.

Having helped them clinch their 26th Scudetto within 3 seasons - becoming only the fifth team ever & youngest squad EVER - 4 months later on 15 May 2009, following yet another lengthy transfer saga involving Real Madrid’s Kaka.

Delvecchio signed a 5-year contract extension until 2016 with an option for another 2 years which would keep him contracted until 2019.

Luca Toni is a successful Italian striker who has played for many clubs over the course of his career. He first came to prominence at Modena, where he scored 32 goals in 64 appearances between 1994 and 1996.

After leaving Modena, Toni spent two seasons with Empoli before moving on to Fiorenzuola and then Lodigiani. In 2000, Toni signed for Vicenza, where he remained until 2001 when he moved onto Treviso. 

At Treviso, Toni helped the club claim promotion to Serie A in 2002–03 and 2003–04 before departing for AC Milan that summer after helping them win their fourth European Cup title in five years (2002).

During his time at AC Milan, Toni was part of another Champions League-winning team (2007), as well as winning further Scudetti (2003; 2005) and Coppa Italia titles (2005). In 2011–12 season,Toni joined Juventus but only managed six league appearances before returning to Italy with Torino later that year.

In January 2019, it was announced that Luca would be joining MLS side LAFC ahead of the 2020 season.

Pep Guardiola is a Spanish footballer who has managed Manchester City since 2016. Guardiola started his career at Barcelona, playing 263 games for the club over 11 seasons before moving to Italy with Brescia in 2002.

He returned to Spain two years later and led Valencia to La Liga and the UEFA Cup in 2007–08, becoming the first coach ever to win three successive major European trophies. 

In 2013, he took charge of Bayern Munich and won Bundesliga titles in each of his first two seasons at the helm; additionally, he reached the Champions League final that year but lost on penalties against Real Madrid.

After leaving Bayern Munich at season's end 2018-19, Guardiola was appointed manager of Premier League champions Manchester City.

His team finished second in their inaugural campaign - their best finish as a top-flight side - behind Liverpool. In March 2019, Pep signed a new contract with Man City until 2023.

Virginio De Paoli was a striker who played for Brescia from 1958 to 1966. He helped the team win two Serie A titles and three Coppa Italia trophies during his time with the club.

De Paoli also represented Italy at international level, winning 34 caps between 1960 and 1970. He scored 11 goals in total, including one against England during the 1966 World Cup finals.

Virginio De Paoli died aged 71 after suffering a heart attack while playing football professionally in his native country of Italy. Virginio De Paoli was a successful Italian footballer who played for clubs such as Varese, Pisa and Juventus.

He also represented his country at international level, winning the 1966 World Cup with Italy. After retiring from playing Virginio De Paoli went on to manage several clubs in Serie A and the Italian lower leagues. In 2009 he was appointed head coach of Udinese Calcio but resigned after just six months in charge due to health problems.

Since then Virginio De Paoli has been out of football managerial contention but is still involved with club governance roles. 

As well as being a successful player Virginio De Paoli is also known for his charitable work, most notably through his involvement with the Special Olympics movement. At the age of 70 he made a return to professional football when he joined Cosenza in Serie D.

He retired from this team too after only four appearances due to injury however it remains unclear if this was an isolated incident or symptomatic of a long term problem with fitness/health etc.

Stephen Appiah was born on Christmas day in 1980, in Accra, Ghana. Stephen Appiah started his career with Hearts of Oak, playing for them from 1995 to 1997.

After leaving Hearts of Oak, he signed with Udinese where he played 36 games and scored zero goals. 

He then moved to AC Milan but did not make a single appearance for the club before being loaned out to Arsenal in England where he made five appearances (scoring one goal).

Finally, he returned to AC Milan and has been there ever since making over 350 appearances and scoring more than 100 goals during his time at the club. 

In 2006, Appiah joined Fenerbahçe where he has remained until now-winning two Süper Lig titles as well as reaching the UEFA Champions League final twice (in 2013 and 2016), both times coming away victorious against Barcelona – something that still stands as one of the greatest achievements in Turkish football history.

Stephen is currently co-owner/manager of newly promoted Premier League side Crystal Palace FC together with billionaire Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan who purchased 50% of the team outright for £57 million back in May 2017 - ensuring their stay up this season regardless.

Dimitri Bisoli is a midfielder who plays for Brescia. Dimitri Bisoli started his career at Serie A side Foligno, before moving to Cesena in 2008. Dimitri Bisoli made his international debut for the Italy U-21 team in October 2010, and has since gone on to play three more times for them.

He was part of the Italian squad that reached the semi-finals of the 2014 World Cup, where they were beaten by Brazil. Dimitri Bisoli made his professional debut with Brescia in September 2013, after impressing during a loan spell from Cesena earlier that year.

Dimitri Bisoli was born in Santarcangelo, Italy on October 5th, 1988. Dimitri Bisoli made his debut with Prato in the 2012–13 season and went on to make 56 appearances for them over two seasons before joining Santarcangelo in 2015. 

He joined Fidelis Andria midway through the 2016–17 season and helped them reach promotion from Lega Pro as champions that year. Dimitri Bisoli transferred to Brescia ahead of the 2017–18 season where he became an integral part of their defence alongside captain Fabio Viviani and defensive midfielder Andrea Lazzarini.

In 101 appearances for Brescia, including 35 during loan spells at fellow league side Bologna and Atalanta, Dimitri Bisoli has scored 12 goals which makes him one of their most prolific defenders ever. 

On July 1st, 2020 it was announced that Dimtri Bisoli had signed a three-year contract with Juventus FC after impressing during a trial period with the club.

Dario Hübner is a forward who played for Cesena, Pergocrema and Fano in Italy. He was born in Muggia, Italy on April 28th 1967. Dario Hübner made his Serie A debut with Cesena in 1987 and went on to play 166 games for the club over the following eight seasons.

In 1992, he moved to Pergocrema where he spent two seasons before joining Fano Calcio later that year. Between 1997 and 2002, Dario Hübner represented Cagliari, Siena and Udinese respectively before retiring from football at the age of 36 years old due to injury.

Dario Hübner played for several clubs over the course of a decade, most notably Brescia and Piacenza. He scored 129 goals in total during his time at those clubs, including 75 at Brescia and 38 at Piacenza. In 2003, he joined Ancona on loan before moving to Perugia the following year.

He then spent four seasons with Mantova before joining Calcio Chiari in 2005 where he enjoyed more success than ever before scoring 23 goals in total from his seven appearances there. 

After leaving Chiari, Hübner moved to Cortefranca but could not help them avoid relegation that season despite playing 16 matches and scoring six times.

Lorenzo Andrenacci is a goalkeeper who currently plays for Brescia in the Italian Serie A. Lorenzo Andrenacci made his professional debut with Fermo in the Lega Pro Prima Divisione at the age of just 18.

He has since played for several other clubs, including Siena and Pescara, before joining Brescia in 2018. At 1.88 metres (6 ft 2 inches) tall, Lorenzo Andrenacci is one of the tallest goalkeepers in Europe and his height has helped him become a key member of both Ferraras’ youth set-up and their first team squad over recent years.

Lorenzo Andrenacci was born on 2 January 1995 in Fermo, Italy and attended local schools before moving to study sports science at university level. He began playing football as a youngster alongside his brother Simone and soon showed potential as a goalkeeper due to his superb reflexes and positional sense on the pitch. 

After progressing through Ferrara’s youth system, Andrea Ranocchia called upon Lorenzo Andrenacci during Brescia’s Europa League qualifying campaign against Rosenborg back in 2016/17 – he kept a clean sheet from behind the home side’s goal to help them progress to Group Stage play following an impressive 4–0 away victory.

In the 2017/18 season, again under new boss Andrea Ranocchia, Andrea produced another outstanding performance between the posts.

Which led Fernando Santos (manager of Portugal national team )to call up him into the Portuguese U21 squad that competed at the UEFA European Under-21 Championship finals held across Poland & Ukraine later that year.

However they narrowly lost out against eventual winners Spain 5–4 on penalties after drawing 3–3 after extra time. This marked Herrera's only senior international cap. 

Another good season followed where despite being plagued by injuries throughout most part of second half of campaign; he managed to keep 19 clean sheets – helping Brescia secure Champions League spot along with Coppa Italia trophy.

The young custodian was also awarded Best Goalkeeper award by fans group “Fermati Bene ongoing project" for this fantastic performance. 

Despite having been capped by Italy Under 21′ s twice now [UEFA European Under 21 Championships ]alongside being selected into Portuguese Senior Squad but yet unable or not able win any medals so far – let us hope that better.

Florian Ayé is a forward for Borussia Dortmund. He made his professional debut in the 2014–15 season, and has since played over 100 matches for the club.

Florian Ayé was born in Paris, France, and started playing football at an early age with local side CS Quincy before moving to US Moissy-Cramayel in 2008.

In October 2018 he scored a hat-trick against Hoffenheim to help Dortmund win 5–0 and secure their place in the UEFA Champions League knockout stages; it was his first treble as a professional player.

Emanuele Ndoj is a central midfielder who currently plays for Serie A club Brescia. He started his career with Padova before moving to Roma in 2013. Emanuele Ndoj has made 21 appearances for the Italy U21 team and was part of their squad that won the 2017 European Championship.

In February 2018, it was announced that Emanuele Ndoj had signed a new contract with Brescia which will keep him at the club until 2020. Emanuele Ndoj is known for his hard-working style on the pitch, as well as his ability to create chances for his teammates from midfield.

Andrea Caracciolo started his career at Sancolombano before joining Brescia in 2001. After a loan spell with Perugia, he joined Palermo in 2005 and quickly became a fan favourite.

In 2007, he moved to Fiorentina but only made one appearance for the club before retiring due to injury. Since leaving football, Andrea has taken up a director of football role at Lumezzane and is still involved in the game as a coach.

He represented Italy at under-21 level and scored two goals on debut against Spain in 2002 Andrea Caracciolo is a versatile attacking midfielder who has played for several Italian clubs. He started his career at Sampdoria, and after several seasons there moved to Brescia.

In 2011 he joined Genoa, where he became one of the most important players in their team. After two years with Genoa, Andrea transferred to Novara on loan before returning to Brescia permanently in 2012.

Fran Karačić is a Croatian right back who currently plays for Italian side Brescia. He began his career with hometown club Kustošija before signing with Serie A side Genoa in January 2016.

After just one season at the Ligurian outfit, he joined Australian side Melbourne City on loan in February 2018. 

He made an instant impact for City, featuring prominently as they finished runners-up in the Hyundai A-League regular season and reached the semi-finals of the AFC Champions League where they were beaten by Guangzhou Evergrande; this was his maiden appearance in international competition.

Jakub Łabojko is a Polish midfielder who currently plays for Brescia. He made his senior debut in 2012 and has since played over 100 games for the club.

Jakub Łabojko was born in Tarnowskie Góry in 1997 and started playing football at local club ŁTS Łabędy before joining Piast Gliwice aged 16. In 2011, he joined Serie A side Lazio on loan but only made four appearances before returning to Brescia later that year.

Stefano Moreo is a talented striker who has played for Brescia in Italy's Serie A. He started his senior career at Milan, where he made over 100 appearances before joining Brescia in 2016.

Alexander Jallow was born in Sweden on 3 March 1998. He started his career with Avesta AIK, before joining Brescia in 2017. Alexander is a right back and has represented Sweden at youth level and internationally.

In his youth career with Union Sportiva Rovereto, he played in the under-17s team which won the 2008 Primavera title before progressing to play for their under-19 side where they also reached the final of that competition in 2011 before losing 2–1 to Inter Milan.

This led him being called up by Roberto Donadoni for Italy's U21 squad who he made his debut against Denmark on October 5th, 2012; scoring two goals during that game including one within 6 minutes of coming onto the pitch as a substitute (the second goal came after 80 minutes).

He continued making appearances for Italy's U21 side until 2015 but then suffered a serious ankle injury while playing against Sweden which ruled him out of action for over six months; upon returning to footballing action.

He scored another hat-trick during a 4–0 victory over San Marino on March 10th, 2016 – helping lead his countryman Antonio Cassano’s Empoli Fc into Serie A as champions that season (they were relegated back down again at the end of 2017/18 though). 

Giacomo Olcer started off 2018/19 campaign well by netting twice during Brescia’s 3–1 home win over Livorno Calcio on September 23rd – continuing what had been a strong start to life back in Serie A following their relegation from.

It last term despite still having some players from their promotion team such as Andrea Ranocchia & Domenico Berardi still partaking due to new contract offers received from them whilst others like Alberto Gilardino have moved elsewhere permanently or are currently injured so not featuring regularly themselves yet.

Although recently sidelined due to injury himself once more however now set to be available again soon afterwards hopefully leading Brescia onwards achieving further success domestically whilst also looking towards.

Europe somewhat closer too given their current league position presently sitting 11th overall albeit only four points behind 7th placed SPAL courtesy OFI Crete who occupy 4th spot having played slightly less games than them thus far this campaign.

Nicolas Galazzi is a winger who currently plays for Brescia. He started his career with Pavese before moving to Inter Milan in 2016. Nicolas has been prolific in Italy, scoring 20 goals and providing 10 assists in just 36 appearances for both Pavese and Inter Milan youth teams.

Tom van de Looi is a Dutch midfielder who currently plays for Italian side Brescia. Van de Looi began his youth career with FC Groningen, before moving to fellow Dutch side ADO Den Haag in 2017.

The 23-year-old has made one appearance for the Netherlands national team, coming on as a substitute during their UEFA Nations League clash against Hungary in October 2018. 

As well as playing football professionally, Tom van de Looi also runs a martial arts academy and competes in taekwondo tournaments throughout Europe Tom van de Looi is a talented Dutch footballer who has played for several clubs in his career.

Flavio Bianchi is a forward currently playing for Brescia on loan from Genoa. He has been with the club since he was just 16 years old and made his first-team debut in 2018.

As one of Genoa's most promising young players, Bianchi attracted interest from many top clubs around Europe and Serie A sides were keen to sign him too, but he elected to stay with the Grifone until the end of his contract in 2020.

In total, Bianchi has made 38 appearances for Genoa across all competitions including 12 starts this season as they fight for promotion back to Serie A after being relegated at the end of last term. 

The 22-year-old scored two goals during Brescia's 3-1 win over Siena on Sunday evening and will be hoping to add more goalscoring performances throughout 2019/20 as he looks to cement himself within Italy's national team setup ahead of future tournaments such as Euro 2020 or World Cup 2022.

Blessed with pace, height and an excellent work ethic off the ball, Bianchi is tipped by many experts as having great potential both domestically and internationally if given enough opportunities at senior level – something that could well come sooner rather than later should Brescia achieve their goal of returning back into Serie A next season.

Patrick Nuamah is a 17-year old Italian midfielder who currently plays for Serie A side Brescia. He has been described as "technically gifted" and possesses excellent ball control.

Patrick was born in Brescia, Italy, and started playing football at the age of six with his local club. After impressing during trials with several top European clubs, he joined Serie A side Juventus aged 15 in 2013.

However, after just one season he switched to Brescia on a free transfer in 2014. Patrick made his debut for Brescia in their 2-0 away victory over Crotone on 9 August 2016, coming on as a substitute for Damiano Tommasi midway through the second half.

Andrea Papetti was born on 3 July 2002 in Cernusco sul Naviglio, Italy. He is a centre back and currently plays for Brescia. Andrea has represented his country at youth level, but has yet to make an appearance for the senior side.

Andrea is known for his aerial ability and strong defence; he also likes to get forward into the attack occasionally. Despite only playing professional football since 2014, Andrea is already well-known.

Within Italian football circles due to his consistent performances with Brescia over that time period Andrea Papetti began his career with Serie A side Brescia before making the move to Italy's under-20 team.

Andrea has represented Italy at youth level and is currently a first-choice for the national side, although he hasn't yet ruled out international retirement.

Federico Viviani is a defensive midfielder who currently plays for Brescia. He began his career at Roma, where he made over 100 appearances between 2005 and 2011.

After spending the 2019 season on loan at Frosinone, Viviani returned to SPAL for the 2020 campaign where he remains currently playing.

Antonio Filippini played for Brescia from 1991 to 2003, before moving on to play for Ospitaletto in 1995. In 1992, he made his Serie A debut with Brescia and went on to score 15 goals in 265 appearances over the course of nine seasons.

After retiring from playing, he became Genoa Women's head coach in 2017. Antonio Filippini played for Serie A clubs Palermo, Treviso and Livorno during his managerial career. In 2011, he was appointed manager of Brescia B. He led the club to promotion to Serie A in his first season in charge.

On 18 May 2018 it was announced that Antonio Filippini had been appointed head coach at Trento ahead of the 2020–21 season.

Marco Zambelli is a defender who has played for several clubs in his youth career. He was signed by Brescia in 2000 and spent four years with the club before transferring to Serie A side Fiorentina.

In 2007, he joined Internazionale where he would make over 100 appearances, including winning two consecutive titles and being named captain of the team in 2009.

In January 2013, Zambelli moved to Atlético Madrid on a six-month loan deal and then permanently in July 2013 after agreeing to a three-year contract with the Spanish club.

He made 36 appearances for Atlético Madrid during his time there before joining Juventus FC on 2 August 2016 as part of an exchange deal involving goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny. 

Marco Zambelli has represented Italy at various youth levels but never made an international appearance senior level until 2017 when he appeared against Spain national football team as part of UEFA Euro qualification campaign.

Matías Almeyda is a former Argentine professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. He started his career at River Plate, before playing for Sevilla, Lazio and Parma.

He joined AEK Athens in 2016 and has since helped the club to third place in the Greek Super League. 

Almeyda was named manager of AEK Athens in December 2018 following an interim spell from Vangelis Morais Matías Almeyda is a Argentine football manager and former player who played for clubs including Lyn, River Plate and Banfield.

He was appointed as the head coach of San Jose Earthquakes in 2018, but left after just two months due to differences with the club's ownership. 

Almeyda holds Mexican citizenship through his father, so he will manage AEK Athens in the upcoming season despite being ineligible to work in Europe because of his switch from an EU club last year.

The 57-year-old has enjoyed success at lower level teams before moving up into more prestigious leagues - most notably leading Brescia to promotion from Serie B in 2004 - although he never won a championship during his time at some of Argentina's biggest sides. 

In December 2002, Almeyda made history when he became Inter Milan’s first foreign signing since they were founded 115 years earlier and helped them win their 47th league title that year; this remains their only European crown (although they have won several other titles domestically).

A powerful forward known for scoring goals both inside and outside the box, Almeyda retired from playing aged 34 following five seasons with River Plate where he netted 44 times in all competitions.

This tally included 14 goals during Inter’s triumphant 2001–02 campaign which led them to be crowned champions of Italy for the first time ever.

Davide Possanzini is a former Italian footballer who played as a striker. Possanzini began his career with Recanatese before joining Torino in 1994. He made only one appearance for the club, scoring four goals in total.

After leaving Torino, Possanzini spent time at several other clubs including Atalanta and Chievo before retiring from football in 2006. Since retirement, Possanzini has worked as a television pundit and coach both domestically and internationally.

Davide Possanzini was born on 9 February 1976 in Loreto, Italy to parents of Italian descent; he later moved to Monza where he attended high school alongside fellow professional footballer Alessandro Del Piero. 

His senior debut came with Recanatese aged just 15 years old; during his five-year spell at the club he scored 35 goals in 65 appearances.

After leaving Recanatese_Possanzini joined Serie A side Torino where he would make just one appearance - netting 4 times against cross-town rivals Juventus (A derby match). 

Injuries hampered him throughout most of 1995 limiting him to no first-team action whatsoever finishing the season without making an appearance. He then had spells at Atalanta, Chievo and Palermo before ending his playing days with Parma FC.

Nowadays he works as a TV commentator/coach mostly working within Europe but having also taken charge of UAE national team games late last year.

Alessandro Matri is a striker who has played for Milan and Prato in Italy. He made his senior debut with Milan in 2003, and helped the team to win two Serie A titles before leaving for Juventus in 2007.

After spells at Roma and Fiorentina, he rejoined Juventus in 2015. Alessandro Matri has represented Italy at international level on several occasions, most notably at the 2006 World Cup and the 2010 World Cup where he scored one goal each tournament.

In 2017 he announced his retirement from professional football after 14 years of playing professionally Alessandro Matri is a talented Italian footballer who has played for several top-flight clubs, most notably Juventus and Milan. He began his career with Lumezzane before moving on to Rimini in 2006.

After two seasons at Rimini, he joined Cagliari where he spent seven years before joining Serie A giants Juventus in 2011. With Juventus, Alessandro made 123 appearances scoring 36 goals over the course of six seasons. 

In 2013, he signed for Milan on loan from Juve but returned to Turin after just one season due to injury problems; however, he was able to make 15 appearances for them during that time as well as score one goal.

In 2016, Alessandro moved abroad again when he signed for Lazio on a free transfer; during his three-year spell at the Stadio Olimpico, he helped them reach the semi-finals of the Champions League twice and win promotion back into Serie A in 2018/19. 

On January 1st 2020 Alessandro announced his retirement from professional football following Sassuolo's relegation from Serie A.

Alessandro Diamanti is a 39-year-old Italian attacking midfielder who currently plays for Western United. Alessandro Diamanti started his career with Prato in 1999, before joining Empoli on loan the following year.

He made 24 appearances for Fucecchio between 2003 and 2004. In 2002, Alessandro Diamanti joined Fiorentina on a season long loan move. He scored three goals during his time at Fiorentina and helped them to win the Coppa Italia that season.

After leaving Fiorentina, Alessandro Diamanti spent two seasons with Roma before moving to Western United in Australia in 2007. 

Alessandro Diamantis has represented Italy at the under-21 level and was part of their 2006 European Championship squad which reached the semi finals stage after beating Spain 3–1 in the quarter finals stages then losing 2–0 to France in the semi final stages.

In November 2009, it was announced that he would be out of action for six weeks due to injury but this did not stop him from being selected for Italy's World Cup Qualification match against. 

Bulgaria later that month scoring both goals in Italy’s 2–0 victory making him available for selection again as they progressed through their qualification campaign reaching UEFA Euro 2012 where he appeared as a substitute against Sweden but didn't feature further.

. . Brescia Calcio is an Italian football club based in Brescia, Lombardy. Founded in 1911, the team has played over 2,000 matches in all competitions and won a total of 36 championship titles.

The most successful period for the club was from the 1960s to the 1980s when they won 26 championships. Some of their best players include Paolo Maldini, Franco Baresi, Diego Maradona and Zinedine Zidane.
