Cruyff is one of the most famous footballers in history and was a key player for Ajax, Barcelona and Los Angeles Aztecs during his career. 

He is considered to be one of the best players ever to play the game and won numerous trophies, including three European Cups with Ajax, two La Liga titles with Barcelona and two Copa del Reys with Madrid.

Cruyff retired from professional football in 1983 but continued to coach teams until 1991. He later became a television commentator on Dutch matches. Cruyff died at the age of 68 after a long battle against cancer. 

Johan Cruyff is one of the most influential and celebrated footballers in history. He was a key part of Ajax's success during the 1970s and 1980s, winning 36 trophies in total.

Cruyff also had a successful managerial career, managing Ajax from 1985 to 1988 before moving on to manage Barcelona for nine years between 1989 and 2003. 

His playing style - characterized by quick passing and clever movement - has been widely copied by other players since his retirement as a player. 

Cruyff received numerous awards following his illustrious career, including three FIFA World Cups (1974, 1978, 1982) as well as two European Championships (1976, 1984).

Van Basten is a Dutch footballer who played as a striker for Ajax and AC Milan. He was once voted the best European player of all time by French magazine L'Equipe, and he also won four Ballon d'Or Awards.

After leaving Milan in 1995, Van Basten spent two seasons with Paris Saint-Germain before retiring from professional football at the age of 37. 

In 2006, Van Basten became manager of Ajax, but was fired after just six months in charge due to poor results.

He later returned to coaching, taking over at FC Barcelona in 2013 where he led them to their first-ever La Liga title in 2014–15 season On 30 May 2016.

It was announced that van Basten would take over as head coach of the Netherlands national team following Dick Advocaat's resignation after the country failed to qualify for Euro 2016 finals.

Under his leadership, they reached the semi-finals of World Cup 2018 held on home soil.

Jari Litmanen is one of the most decorated footballers in Finnish history, with a total of 56 caps and over 400 club appearances to his name. 

He spent most of his career at Reipas alongside current Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, before moving on to Barcelona in 1999 where he won two La Liga titles and a Copa Del Rey.

After three years with Barca, Litmanen signed for Anderlecht where he helped them win the Belgian Primeira Division title in 2003–04 season. 

In 2006, Litmanen joined Munich 1860 where he finished his playing career after two seasons; during this time he also managed FC Helsingin Jalkapallokerho from 2009 until 2011.

Since retiring as a player, Litmanen has taken up coaching roles at both Ajax and Liverpool's academy sides as well as working as an ambassador for FIFPro, the world's leading players' union.

On 20 February 2017, aged 51 years old, Jari Olavi litmanen announced his retirement from professional football following thirteen successful seasons spanning spells at Barcelona (1999-2006), Bayern München (2006-2007) Valencia CF (2007-2008).

Antony is a Brazilian winger who currently plays for Manchester United. Antony started his career with São Paulo before moving to Manchester United in 2018.

Antony has been called up to the Brazil national team several times and was part of their squad at the 2018 World Cup. Antony is known for his speed, dribbling ability, and crossing ability as a winger.

Antony is expected to start playing more centrally this season after being rotated between wingers and central midfield during the first half of 2019/20 season. 

Antony is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays for English club Manchester United and the Brazil national team.

Antony started his career at Corinthians, before moving to Europe to play for Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus. He then joined Manchester United in 2018.

Edwin van der Sar is a Dutch goalkeeper who played for Ajax and Manchester United. Van der Sar has made over 300 appearances in the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, and World Cup.

He was named Ajax Player of the Year in 1998 and 2003, as well as being named Man Utd Player of the Year in 2005. After retiring from playing professionally, he served as CEO of Ajax until his departure in 2016.

Edwin van der Sar was born on October 29th 1970 in Voorhout, Netherlands to Jan and Margaretha. Edwin began his career at Foreholte before moving to VV Noordwijk where he would make 189 appearances between 1985–1990.

In 1990 he signed with Manchester United helping them win their first ever Premier League title that season, while also appearing at UEFA Champions League semi-finals, Copa America final, Euro 1996 final, and 1999 FIFA Confederations Cup Final.

In total Van Der Sar appeared 416 times for Manchester United scoring 24 goals across all competitions whilst winning 5 major trophies including 3 league titles., 2 FA Cups 1 Intercontinental cup, and 2 European Super cups. 

On July 14th 2004 after 12 years with Man Utd; during which time they had won 4 more Premier Leagues & The Uefa champions trophy (1997), Edwin announced his retirement due to an Achilles tendon injury sustained against Newcastle United on November 26th 2003.

However just 9 months later on May 30 2006 following new signing David De Gea’s debut v Blackburn Rovers; Edwin came off the bench replacing De Gea 83rd minute & conceded a goal leading to a 3–1 defeat ending their 19 game unbeaten run.

This proved to be Van Der Sar’s last competitive appearance for MAN UTD., making 383 apps overall (+282) totaling 301 clean sheets.

Daley Blind is a Dutch international defender who currently plays for Bayern Munich. Blind made his professional debut with Ajax in 2008, and went on to make 102 appearances for the club over three seasons before joining Groningen on loan in 2010.

In 2014, Blind transferred to Manchester United where he has since played 146 games and scored five goals. A versatile defender capable of playing at either centre-back or left-back, Blind was part of the Netherlands team that finished runners-up at UEFA Euro 2016.

Daley Blind is a Dutch international footballer who currently plays for English side Manchester United.

Daley Blind has represented his home nation Netherlands at multiple youth levels and made his senior debut in 2009. After impressing with Ajax, he moved to Premier League club Manchester United in 2014 where he has since become an important member of the team. 

In 2019, Blind helped Manchester United reach the UEFA Nations League Final where they narrowly lost against Portugal on penalties after a goalless draw in the semi-final stage.

With over 90 appearances for Manchester United, Daley Blind ranks as one of their longest-serving players and remains an integral part of their squad going into the 2020 season.

On 2 July 2018, it was announced that blind had signed a new contract with Manchester United until 2022 which will keep him at Old Trafford until at least 30 June 2023.

Davy Klaassen is a Dutch footballer who plays for Ajax. He has also played for HSV Wasmeer and HVV de Zebra's in his youth career. Davy Klaassen was born on 21 February 1993 in Hilversum, Netherlands and started playing football at the age of five with local club HVV de Zebra's.

After impressing during his time at youth level, Klaassen joined Dutch giants Ajax in July 2009 and made his debut three years later against Groningen in the Eredivisie. 

Since joining Ajax, Davy Klaassen has become one of the most popular players within the squad and has won two successive Eredivisie titles as well as being crowned Johan Cruijff Klasseman (a title given to the best player within Holland) twice consecutively between 2014-2015 and 2016-2017 season respectively.

In addition to winning trophies with Ajax, Davy Klaassen has also represented Netherlands national team at under-19s, under-21s, senior level and was part of their successful 2017 FIFA World Cup campaign where they reached quarter-finals before losing to France1. 

Having spent six seasons with Amsterdam side since 2009, it was announced by manager Peter Bosz that he would be leaving after talks over a new contract failed to materialize following their run to the Champions League semifinals this past season which ended up losing 4–1 on aggregate against Liverpool FC.

Lisandro Magallán is a central defender who currently plays for Elche. Magallán made his senior debut with Gimnasia La Plata in 2010, and has since played 26 games for the club.

He was part of Argentina's U20 squad that won the 2011 South American Youth Championship, as well as their side at the 2012 Toulon Tournament. Magallán made his international debut with Argentina in November 2013, coming on as a substitute in a 2-1 defeat to Paraguay.

In December 2016 he signed an extension to his contract until 2020 with Elche.[2] Lisandro Magallán is a midfielder who currently plays for Boca Juniors. 

He has played for Rosario Central and Defensa y Justicia on loan in Argentina before joining Ajax in 2019. Magallán was born in 1994 and made his international debut for Argentina U20s in 2016.

Frank de Boer is a Dutch football manager and defender who has spent most of his managerial career with Ajax, winning the Eredivisie title twice in 2011 and 2015.

De Boer made his professional debut for Ajax in 1988, going on to make 328 appearances for the club over 14 seasons before moving to Barcelona in 1999. At Barcelona, he won two La Liga titles and was part of their victorious 1998–99 Champions League squad, as well as reaching the UEFA Cup Final that year.

He left Barça after just one season to join Turkish side Galatasaray, but unhappy with life in Istanbul decided to retire at the end of his contract there four years later. 

After retiring from playing De Boer took up coaching positions with Rangers (2005-2006), Al-Rayyan (2006) and Al-Shamal (2007). 

In November 2011 he was appointed head coach of Ajax following Ruud Gullit's departure from the post and led them back into European competition by finishing second in his first season at helm.

They went on to win both domestic trophies during the 2012/13 campaign – including runners up spot behind PSV Eindhoven – before repeating this feat again in 2015/16 securing three consecutive league titles overall between 2014/15 & 2016/17 seasons.

On 2 July 2018 it was announced that Frank de Boer would leave Ajax at the conclusion of their pre-season tour due to “personal reasons” leaving speculation rife about whether or not he will manage another club next term.

Luis Suárez is a talented Uruguayan striker who has had an illustrious career playing for top teams in Europe. 

Suarez signed with Premier League club Liverpool in January 2014, and helped the team win the Champions League in 2015.

Maarten Stekelenburg is a goalkeeper for Ajax. He has been with the club since 1997 and played over 350 games for them. Stekelenburg was part of the Netherlands' successful side at Euro 2012, where they reached the semi-finals before losing to Spain.

In 2013, he helped Ajax reach their fourth consecutive Dutch championship and his 100th appearance in all competitions came against Feyenoord in March of that year. 

Having made his international debut back in 2002, Stekelenburg represented his country at three World Cups (2006, 2010, 2014) as well as two European Championships (2008, 2012).

On 16 January 2016 it was announced that Stekelenburg would be out for six months after fracturing his ankle whilst on international duty with Holland.[4] Senior career starts from 1 July 2007.

Dennis Bergkamp is a Dutch professional footballer who played as a forward for Ajax, Inter Milan and Arsenal. Bergkamp was born on 10 May 1969 in Amsterdam and started his career at Ajax before moving to Inter Milan in 1993.

He spent the majority of his time at Arsenal, winning three Premier League titles and two FA Cups with the club. After leaving Arsenal in 2006, he had brief spells with Barcelona and Parma before retiring from football later that year.

In 2011, Bergkamp was named as head coach of AZ Alkmaar but left the position after one season due to personal reasons. He has since been working as an ambassador for several clubs including Ajax, Inter Milan, Feyenoord Rotterdam and FC Utrecht.

Sébastien Haller is a French-born striker who currently plays for Borussia Dortmund. He started his career at FCO Vigneux before joining Brétigny Foot in 2007.

In 2012, he moved to Auxerre and subsequently made over 100 appearances for the club, scoring 36 goals. He joined Borussia Dortmund in 2019 and has since scored six goals in 17 appearances for the Bundesliga side.

Sébastien Haller is widely considered one of France's most promising young strikers and has been called up to the national team on multiple occasions; most recently being named in their squad for the World Cup Qualifiers against Bulgaria and Romania later this year.

Zlatan Ibrahimović is an award-winning striker who currently plays for AC Milan. He was born in Sweden and started his career with Malmö BI before transferring to FBK Balkan in 1995.

In 1999, he moved to Malmo FF where he enjoyed great success scoring over 150 goals in 200 appearances.

After leaving Italy, Ibrahimović signed for Barcelona where he helped lead them to multiple cups and league championships before transferring to AC Milan in 2011.

There was some speculation that Ibrahimović would leave Milan after failing to agree on terms on a new contract but instead, he re-joined PSG for an additional two seasons in 2016 and 2017 respectively. 

As of 2019, Ibrahimovic is currently playing for LA Galaxy where he continues to be one of the most dominant players in MLS history. 

With over 100 international caps under his belt as well as goals scored throughout Europe's major leagues, it is safe to say that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will go down as one of football's all-time greats.

Edson Álvarez is a Mexican professional footballer who currently plays for Ajax. He started his career with América before moving to Ajax in 2019. Mexico, making his debut in 2016.

Steven Berghuis is a Dutch footballer who plays for Ajax. He made his professional debut with Vitesse in 2007 and spent three seasons there before joining Go Ahead Eagles in 2009.

After a year at AEK Athens, he joined Ajax in the summer of 2013 and has since played more than 250 matches for the club, scoring 30 goals. In 2016, Berghuis helped Netherlands win their first ever European Championship title.

He was named Dutch Footballer of the Year for both 2015 and 2016[5][6] and also won two Eredivisie titles (with Ajax) as well as two KNVB Cups (both with AEK).

On 28 November 2017,[7] Berghuis scored his 100th goal for Ajax during a 5–0 victory over Excelsior Rotterdam. With 78 caps to his name, he is currently the fourth-highest-capped player in Netherlands' history behind Arjen Robben, Wesley Sneijder, and Robin van Persie.

Dušan Tadić is a Serbian professional footballer who currently plays as a forward for Dutch club Ajax. He made his senior debut with local side Ajax in 2007 and has since established himself as one of the Netherlands' most prolific frontmen.

Tadić was part of Serbia's victorious squad at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, where he scored two goals in their campaign to reach the final. Dušan Tadić was born on 20 November 1988 in Bačka Topola, SR Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia to parents Slobodan and Dragana.

Bergwijn is a Netherlands international winger who currently plays for Ajax. Bergwijn started his career at Ajax before moving to PSV in 2014. After two seasons with PSV, he joined Jong PSV in 2016 where he has since played 112 games and scored 29 goals.

Bergwijn was called up to the Dutch national team for the first time in 2017 and made his senior debut that year against Luxembourg.

Pasveer started his career at SC Enschede, before moving to Twente in 2003. Pasveer made his debut for Ajax in 2007 and has since been a regular starter in the team's goalkeeping corps.

Frank Rijkaard is a Dutch football player and manager. He played for Ajax, AC Milan, Real Zaragoza, Barcelona and Internazionale. As a midfielder or defender, he was known for his vision on the pitch as well as his passing ability.

In 2006, he retired from professional football after managing Barcelona to two La Liga titles in three years. After retiring from playing professionally, Rijkaard took up management positions with both Valencia and PSV Eindhoven before coaching Saudi Arabia's national team in 2018. 

He is one of the most successful managers in Dutch football history, with a total of 414 wins from 75 games.

He also has an international career as assistant manager to Guus Hiddink and led Sparta Rotterdam to their first ever Dutch title in 2003. In 2008 he was appointed manager of Barcelona, where he won two La Liga titles before retiring at the end of the 2011-12 season.

Sjaak Swart was a winger who played for Ajax, Feyenoord and Rangers. He won the Dutch championship with Ajax in 1961 and the European Cup with Feyenoord in 1970.

He also won two Scottish titles with Rangers in 1974 and 1975. Swart made his international debut for Holland against Spain in February 1958 at age 20, and went on to make 57 appearances for his country over the next six years including three World Cups (1962, 1966, 1974).

After retiring as a player, he became assistant manager of Eredivisie club NEC Nijmegen before becoming head coach of amateur side FC Dordrechtia from 2005 until 2007 when he took up an executive role with Sparta Rotterdam.

Florian Grillitsch is a 27-year-old Austrian footballer who currently plays for Ajax. He started his career with SVSF Pottschach in 2001 and then played for St.

Pölten until 2013. At club level, Grillitsch has been an important part of the Ajax team that have won three Eredivisie titles since 2016, as well as the Dutch Cup in 2018.

Wesley Sneijder is a Dutch footballer who plays for Turkish club Galatasaray, and previously played for Spanish clubs Real Madrid and Inter Milan. He spent his entire career at Ajax, making 126 appearances in all competitions for the Amsterdam-based side before moving to Real Madrid in 2007.

Ruud Krol is a Dutch left-back who played for Ajax, Vancouver Whitecaps and Napoli in the 1970s and 1980s. He won 83 caps for the Netherlands between 1969 and 1983, scoring four goals.

After retiring as a player, Krol became manager of Mechelen in 1989 before leaving after two seasons to take over at Feyenoord. 

In 2002 he was appointed assistant coach of the Netherlands national team under Bert van Marwijk but resigned after only six months due to personal reasons; his son had died earlier that year.

Since 2006 he has been working as an analyst for television channel RTL4's coverage of Dutch football matches.

Rinus Michels was a Dutch international footballer who played as a striker for Ajax and the Netherlands. He is considered one of the greatest strikers in history, winning five European Cups with Ajax between 1946 and 1958, as well as two World Cups with his country.

After retiring from playing professionally he managed several teams before becoming coach of Barcelona in 1974, where he won four successive league titles. He died aged 77 after a long battle with cancer Rinus Michels was a highly successful manager in the football world.

He led Ajax, Barcelona, and Netherlands to several honours including three FIFA World Cups. Michels is also well known for his disciplinarian style of management which helped develop some of the best players in history such as Johan Cruyff and Marco van Basten. 

In later years he had difficulty managing clubs due to personality clashes with some of the senior figures at his various clubs but still remained one of Europe's most respected managers overall.

Michels died suddenly at the age of 68 after suffering from a heart attack while on holiday in Spain.

Ahmetcan Kaplan is a 19 year old centre back who currently plays for Ajax. He started his career with Trabzonspor before moving to Ajax in the summer of 2020.

Kik Pierie joined Ajax from Heerenveen in the summer of 2017. The defender has played for both the U-15 and U-17 teams at USA national team level, before making his senior debut against Peru in November 2016.

Outside of football, Kian enjoys spending time with friends and family and playing tennis Kian Fitz-Jim is a Dutch footballer who plays for Ajax as a midfielder. Kian Fitz-Jim has represented the Netherlands at both U15 and U16 level, before making his senior debut in 2020.

In total, Kian Fitz-Jim has made 74 appearances for Ajax since joining the club in 2020, scoring two goals along the way. With six caps to his name so far, Kian Fitz-Jim is set to continue representing his country over the coming years.

Davids is a former Dutch international and assistant manager who played for Ajax and Milan before joining Juventus. Davids was born in Suriname, but grew up in the Netherlands.

After leaving Juve, Davids moved to Barcelona where he spent two seasons on loan before returning to Italy with Internazionale. 

He retired from football in 2006 at the age of 29 after playing 159 league games for Juventus, Ajax and Milan combined as well as representing his country at various levels including three World Cups (1998, 2002 and 2010).

Since retiring from playing football, Davids has worked as an assistant manager with both Ajax and the Netherlands national team although he left his role at Barca earlier this year due to injury.

Edgar Steven Davids was elected into the Amsterdam Sports Hall of Fame in December 2017. In September 2018 it was announced that Edgar Steven Davids would become Assistant Manager of FC Groningen starting from October 1st.

Benni McCarthy is a former South African international footballer who played as a forward. He began his career at Ajax, before playing for Celta Vigo and Manchester United.

McCarthy was part of the South Africa national team that won the 1996 African Cup of Nations, and also reached the final of the 1995 Confederations Cup. After retiring from professional football in 2002, he took up coaching duties with Manchester United first-team squad.

In May 2018 he was appointed first-team coach at Manchester United. McCarthy has two daughters with wife Toni: Isabella (born 2004) and Nora (born 2006). 

Benni McCarthy is a former footballer who played for clubs including Porto, Blackburn Rovers and West Ham United.

He made his international debut for South Africa in 1997 and went on to play 79 times for the country over a 12-year period. McCarthy retired from playing in 2012, but has since gone on to manage several clubs in his home country of South Africa.

Rafael van der Vaart is a Dutch midfielder who previously played for Ajax, Hamburger SV and Tottenham Hotspur. Van der Vaart joined Esbjerg fB in January 2019 as an assistant coach following his retirement from playing.

Van der Vaart has represented the Netherlands at international level on several occasions, most notably during the 2006 World Cup and Euro 2008 tournaments. In 2012, he rejoined Spurs after spending two years with Real Madrid.

He left White Hart Lane in 2014 to join Hamburg but returned to England the following year when he re-signed with Tottenham Hotspur. 

Van der Vaart was part of the Netherlands team that won UEFA Euro 2004 and reached the final of UEFA European Championship 2010 where they were narrowly beaten by Spain.

At club level, van der Vaart has won three Eredivisie titles (with Ajax), one Spanish Liga title (with Atlético Madrid) and one German Bundesliga title (with Bayern Munich). 

Van Der Vaaft has also appeared for Holland at various other major international tournaments including Copa America 2007, Confederations Cup 2009 and World Cup 2010 as well as EURO 2008 where they finished runners-up behind Spain.

He announced his retirement from professional football in January 2019 after making 115 appearances over 11 seasons which spans five different countries: The Netherlands; Germany; Spain; England & Scotland respectively.
