Parma Calcio 1913 is an Italian professional football club based in the city of Parma, Emilia-Romagna. Founded in December 1913, the club has since grown to become one of Italy’s most successful teams, winning multiple titles and cup competitions over the course of its storied history.

Buffon is a world-renowned goalkeeper who has played for Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain. Buffon was born in 1978 in Carrara, Italy and began his career with Parma in 1991.

He made his debut for Juventus in 2001 and went on to make 510 appearances for the club, winning five Serie A titles and three Champions League medals. In 2018, Buffon joined PSG but left two years later after failing to agree on new terms with the French side.

Buffon announced his retirement from football at the age of 44 following Juve's victory over Torino in the Italian Cup Final on 23 May 2019. Buffon is currently officiating as goalkeeper coach at Parma.

Buffon is one of the most decorated players in world football, having won numerous accolades including five Serie A titles and three Champions League crowns.

Buffon has made 176 appearances for his club side Juventus and was an integral part of their back-to-back title successes in 2006 and 2007. 

Buffon's international career saw him feature at three World Cups - notably helping Italy to victory in 2006 - before he retired from international duty following Euro 2016. 

Buffon has since returned to playing for Juventus, but will now turn his attention to coaching as he takes up a role with Italian national team boss Giampiero Ventura ahead of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers later this year.

Now into his 40s, Buffon continues to be a key player for Juve domestically and internationally, with rumors rife that he could retire at the end of next season should they win another league title.

Fabio Cannavaro is a former Italian professional footballer who played as a central defender. Cannavaro made his senior debut with Napoli in 1991, and went on to play for Parma, Juventus, Real Madrid and Internazionale over the course of six seasons.

He won two Serie A titles with Juve before moving to Real Madrid in 2006 where he was part of the team that claimed La Liga and the UEFA Champions League twice apiece. 

In 2009 he joined Inter Milan but left just four months later after failing to agree on terms on a new contract; subsequently joining Benevento as their head coach in December 2013.

At the international level, Cannavaro represented Italy at Euro 2004 and the 2006 World Cup where they reached both finals (the first time they had ever done so). 

After ending his playing career in 2014, Cannavaro became manager of Egyptian club Al Ahly SC but was sacked midway through the 2016–17 season following poor results. Currently, Fabio is Head Coach at Benevento Fc based out of Naples.

Lilian Thuram was a French international defender who spent his entire professional career with Monaco. He won the Ligue 1 title in 1995 and was named club captain that same year.

Thuram is widely regarded as one of the best defenders of his era, and he helped Monaco to two Champions League titles during his time there.

After leaving Monaco at the end of the 1996 season, Thuram joined Juventus where he played for three seasons before retiring from football at age 35 due to injury sustained while playing for France in the 2002 World Cup quarterfinals against Brazil.

In 2013, Thuram became a manager after being appointed head coach of Al-Gharafa SC in Qatar. Thuram, who played for Parma and Juventus before joining Barcelona in 2006, was a world-class defender. 

Thuram helped France win the World Cup in 1998 and the European Championship two years later. He retired from international football after the 2008 Euros but returned to play at the 2012 Olympics with France.

Thuram is one of only five players to have won both the Champions League and La Liga titles while playing for Barcelona (the others being Xavi Hernandez, Iniesta, Messi and Ronaldo). 

Lilian Thuram has been voted into three French Football Halls of Fame - he received his first honour in 2002, followed by another two in 2009 and 2013 respectively.

Adrian Mutu is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Rapid București. He began his career at Argeș Pitești before moving to Dinamo București and then Inter Milan, where he won the Champions League in 2002.

After two seasons with Parma, Mutu joined Hellas Verona in 2003 where he helped the club reach the UEFA Cup Final that year. In 2007, Mutu signed for Fiorentina where he won another Serie A title in 2009–10 and was also named Serie A Player of the Year that season.

In June 2011, after nine years with Fiorentina, Mutu moved to Chelsea on a free transfer; however, he only made eight appearances for them before being loaned back to Fiorentina later that year.

On 5 January 2013, it was announced that Mutu had rejoined Rapid Bucureşti on a three-and-a-half-year contract following his release from Chelsea. Adrian Mutu has been capped 47 times by Romania and played at Euro 2004 and World Cup 2006.

Adriano is a Brazilian striker who has played for several top-flight clubs in Europe. Adriano made his professional debut with Flamengo in 1997, and went on to play for Inter Milan, Parma and Fiorentina before joining São Paulo in 2010.

Faustino Asprilla is a Colombian footballer who played as a forward for clubs in his homeland and abroad. He made his professional debut with Cúcuta Deportivo in 1988, before moving to Colombia's top club Atlético Nacional the following year.

After two years at Nacional, he moved to Newcastle United in England for £1 million in 1992 - making him the most expensive Colombian player of all time.

Matías Almeyda is a former Argentine professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. He started his career at River Plate, before playing for Sevilla, Lazio and Parma.

He joined AEK Athens in 2016 and has since helped the club to third place in the Greek Super League.

Gianfranco Zola is a former Italian professional footballer who played as a forward. Zola began his career with Corrasi Oliena in 1980, and went on to play for Nuorese, Torres, and Napoli during his time in the professional game.

Alberto Gilardino is an Italian professional footballer who currently plays for Genoa. Gilardino started his career at hometown club Biella before moving to Serie A side Parma in 2002.

Crespo started his career at River Plate, where he won two league titles. He moved to Parma in 1996, scoring 62 goals in 116 appearances. Crespo joined Lazio in 2002, and helped the club to two Serie A titles.

He moved to Chelsea in 2003, where he won the Premier League title in 2005 and the FA Cup in 2006. Crespo spent two years with Inter Milan, before returning to Chelsea in 2008. He retired from professional football in 2013, after playing for Al-Duhail in Qatar.

Hristo Stoichkov is one of the most successful and iconic Bulgarian footballers of all time. He played for some of the biggest clubs in the world, including Barcelona and CSKA Sofia, and is the all-time leading scorer for Bulgaria.

Stoichkov was born in 1966 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, and started playing football at Maritsa Plovdiv. He soon attracted the attention of some of the biggest clubs in Europe, and joined CSKA Sofia in 1984. 

He remained at the club for the next nine years, winning several trophies, including three Bulgarian titles and the European Cup in 1988.

In 1990, Stoichkov moved to Barcelona, where he played alongside some of the greatest players in history, including Romário, Luis Figo and Zinedine Zidane. 

He won three La Liga titles and two Spanish Cups, as well as the European Cup in 1994. He retired from football in 1995. Stoichkov is now a football commentator and ambassador for several charities.

He has also written several books about his life and career, including My Barcelona Years (2001) and Stoichkov: Memoirs of a Football Legend (2012). 

Hristo Stoichkov is still considered one of the best forwards in history, and is widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time. He is a three-time Ballon d'Or winner, and was named the European Footballer of the Year in 1994.

Dino Baggio was an Italian midfielder and one of the world's greatest footballers. Baggio was born on 24 July 1971 in Camposampiero, Italy. Baggio began his career with Tombolo before joining Torino in 1984.

Sérgio Conceição is a Portuguese professional football manager and former player. He has spent most of his managerial career with Portuguese club Porto.

Conceição played professionally for Académica and Porto, winning the Portuguese Liga and Portuguese Cup with the latter. He became manager of Porto in 2018.

Conceição's first season in charge saw Porto win the Primeira Liga and the UEFA Champions League. Conceição was born in Coimbra, Portugal, in 1974. He began his playing career at Académica in 1986, making over 30 appearances for the club.

In 1995, he joined Porto and went on to make 56 appearances for the club over the next nine seasons. Conceição was named Portuguese League Manager of the Year in 1998. 

He retired from playing football in 2003. Conceição was a successful manager, most notably at Standard Liège, helping them to four consecutive Belgian titles and a UEFA Cup appearance.

Conceição has also managed Olhanense, Académica, Braga, Vitória Guimarães and Nantes. He left Porto in May 2017, after six years in charge. Conceição was born in Lisbon on December 4, 1972. 

He began his career as a player with Sporting Clube de Portugal, making his senior debut in 1995. Conceição earned 26 caps for Portugal, and played at the 1998 World Cup and the 2002 World Cup.

He retired from playing in 2003. Conceição took up management in 2010, when he was appointed assistant manager at Standard Liège. He was appointed manager of Olhanense in October 2012, and led them to the Portuguese Liga title in his first season.

Savo Milošević was born on September 2nd 1973 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was then part of Yugoslavia. He started his career at Proleter Ruhotina-Johovac before joining Partizan in 1992.

He spent two seasons with Partizan before moving to Aston Villa in 1995. In 1998, he joined Lazio where he spent four seasons before retiring in 2002. Milošević is one of the most successful footballers from the former Yugoslavia and was a member of the country's national team.

He is currently the sporting director of Partizan. He has also been involved in coaching and has worked with clubs such as Red Star Belgrade and FK Rad. Milošević was named in the UEFA 100 Best Players of the Century list and was also voted the Serbian Footballer of the Year in 2003 and 2004.

In 2017, he was named in the FIFA 100 list of the world's greatest living footballers.
