Coventry City Football Club is an English professional football club based in Coventry, West Midlands. Founded in 1883, the club has competed in the English pyramid system for over 137 years, and currently play in the English Championship.

Throughout their history, Coventry have worn a variety of colours and designs for their home kits, with sky blue being the predominant colour for most of their history.

Robbie Keane is an Irish international striker who played for Leeds United and Coventry City in his career. He was born on July 8, 1980 in Tallaght, Dublin and started playing football at a young age with Fettercairn YFC before moving to Crumlin United.

In 1997, he joined Wolverhampton Wanderers where he made 73 appearances over two seasons before joining Inter Milan on loan the following year. 

After only 18 appearances for Leeds United during the 2001–2002 season, Keane moved to Coventry City where he scored 28 goals in 38 matches over two seasons before signing for LA Galaxy in 2007.

Keane has won four Premier League titles (with Manchester United [2003], Chelsea [2004], Tottenham Hotspur [2007], and LA Galaxy [2011]) as well as three FA Cups (with Chelsea [2000].

Manchester United[2006], and Tottenham Hotspur[2008]), one UEFA Champions League title (with Bayern Munich[2009]), five EFL Cup trophies (with Portsmouth[1998], 

Birmingham City[2001],[2003],[2005],[2010] ), an Olympic gold medal with Ireland,[1996] and a World Cup bronze medal with Republic of Ireland.[1995].

He retired from professional football after helping LA Galaxy win their fourth MLS cup title in 2018 and will now take up coaching duties within the club.

Boateng was born in Ghana, and began his football career playing for Nkawkaw. He moved to the Netherlands to play for Feyenoord, where he made 68 appearances over three seasons.

Boateng then signed with Aston Villa, where he spent four seasons before moving to Middlesbrough in 2008. 

In total, Boateng has played 103 matches in the English Premier League and 46 games in the Football League Championship during his career George Boateng started his managerial career at Kelantan FA in 2014.

He was appointed manager of Blackburn Rovers U13s in 2019 and will also take charge of Ghana's national team from 2020 onwards.

John Aloisi is a 46-year old Australian striker who currently plays for Western United in the National Premier Leagues Victoria. John Aloisi started his career at Adelaide City before moving to Standard Liège in Belgium.

He spent five seasons with Antwerp, scoring 35 goals in total. After leaving Antwerp, Aloisi signed for Cremonese in Italy and played 48 matches over three seasons before returning to Australia and joining Western United in 2008.

In 2013, he was appointed head coach of Western United and led them to the NPL Victoria title that year as well as two cup finals (the FFA Cup and NPL Victorian Cup). 

John Aloisi has represented Australia at international level on eight occasions, including appearances at both the 2002 World Cup and 2006 World Cup qualifiers.

He retired from international football after Australia's elimination from the 2014 World Cup Qualifying campaign but returned to play for Melbourne Victory later that season.

Lee Carsley is a former English professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. Carsley started his career at Derby County in the 1992–1994 season and went on to play for Blackburn Rovers, Coventry City, and England U21s.

Gordon Strachan is a Scottish football manager and former player who was manager of Celtic from 2007 to 2016. He played for Dundee and Celtic in his career and was part of the team that won the Scottish League championship in 1983.

He became manager of Celtic in 2007 and led the team to three successive Scottish Premier League titles. 

He was appointed manager of Scottish national team in November 2013 and led the team to the 2014 World Cup. He left Celtic in 2016 and was appointed manager of Dundee.

Gary McAllister is a Scottish football midfielder who played for Leicester City and Leeds United. Gary McAllister was born on December 25, 1964 in Motherwell, Scotland.

McAllister played for Leicester City from 1985 to 1990, and then for Leeds United from 1990 to 1996. In 1996, McAllister moved to Coventry City. McAllister made 221 appearances in the English Premier League, scoring 31 goals.

Kevin Gallacher is a Scottish professional footballer who played as a winger for Dundee United. Gallacher started his career at Dundee United, before moving to Liverpool in 1990.

He played for Liverpool for three seasons, before returning to Dundee United in 1993. Gallacher then played for Rangers, Marseille, Celtic and Aberdeen, retiring in 2007. Gallacher was capped 48 times by Scotland, scoring six goals.

Darren Carl Huckerby was born on 23 April 1976 in Nottingham, England. He started his career at Notts County before joining Norwich City in 2001. He has made over 230 appearances for the Canaries, scoring 36 goals.

Huckerby has also spent time with Stockport County, Walsall, Sheffield United, Bristol City and Blackburn Rovers, as a player and coach.

Ogrizovic is a former goalkeeper who enjoyed a lengthy and successful career in English football. He started his career at ONRYC before joining Mansfield Town in 1977.

Ogrizovic spent 14 years at Mansfield, making over 350 appearances and winning the club's Player of the Year award in 1990. 

Ogrizovic then spent two seasons at Cambridge United, before ending his playing career at Northampton Town in 1995.

Ogrizovic later became a goalkeeper coach at Mansfield Town, before leaving the club in 2006. He has since worked as a goalkeeping coach at clubs including Rushden & Diamonds and Notts County. 

Ogrizovic is also a television pundit, and has appeared on shows such as Match of the Day and Soccer AM.

Roland Nilsson is a former Swedish defender who played for several teams in his career, most notably IFK Göteborg and Sheffield Wednesday. Nilsson was born in Helsingborg in 1963 and started playing football at Helsingborgs IF at the age of 14.

Nilsson made his professional debut in 1981 with Helsingborgs IF and went on to make 124 appearances for the club. 

Nilsson joined IFK Göteborg in 1989 and played 152 games for the club before moving to Sheffield Wednesday in 1994. Nilsson retired from football in 1997 but returned to play for Helsingborgs IF in 1999.

Nilsson also represented Sweden at international level and played 38 times between 1974 and 1980. Nilsson currently works as a football coach for Helsingborgs IF.

Thomas Hutchison is a Scottish football midfielder who played for Dundonald Bluebell and Alloa Athletic in the 1960s and 1970s. Hutchison was born in Cardenden in 1947 and started his career at local side Dundonald Bluebell.

He played 68 games for Alloa Athletic over four seasons, scoring four goals. Hutchison retired from football in the early 1980s and moved to Australia. He later returned to Scotland and began coaching. Hutchison is currently a football coach in Scotland.

Hall joined Southampton in 2007 and helped lead the team to their first ever appearance in the UEFA Champions League. 

Hall left Southampton in 2010 and rejoined Coventry City. Hall retired from professional football in 2011. Hall has since worked as a football manager, most recently coaching Northampton Town.

Jonathan Panzo is a defender who currently plays for Coventry City on loan from Nottingham Forest. Panzo made his Chelsea debut in May 2018 and has since gone on to make over 50 appearances for the club.

Panzo was born in Brockley, London, England and started playing football at the age of six for local side Hayes. 

Panzo joined Chelsea's youth academy in 2010 and made his first-team debut in October of that year, coming on as a substitute in a 3-1 win over Swansea City.

Panzo went on to make over 50 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions, scoring two goals. In 2018, Panzo joined Nottingham Forest on loan and made his debut for the club in a 2-1 loss to Bournemouth. 

Panzo has represented England at youth levels, making three appearances for the England U17s, two appearances for the England U19s, and one appearance for the England U21s.
