The New England Revolution is an American professional soccer club based in the Greater Boston area. Founded in 1995, the Revolution competes in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Eastern Conference.

The club is owned and operated by Robert Kraft and the Kraft family, who also owns the New England Patriots of the National Football League. The Revolution have played their home matches at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts since the club’s founding. The team’s head coach is Bruce Arena, who has led the team since 2019.

The Revolution have been one of the most successful clubs in MLS history, having won the MLS Cup in 2002 and the U.S. Open Cup in 2007. The club has also reached the MLS Cup Final five times, most recently in 2018.

In addition, the Revolution have won the Northeast Division title four times, most recently in 2020. The club’s supporters have been recognized as one of the league’s most passionate, and the team’s home games at Gillette Stadium have often drawn large crowds.

Clint Dempsey is a forward for Seattle Sounders FC and was born in 1983. He played college soccer at Furman University before being drafted by the New England Revolution in 2004.

Dempsey spent three seasons with the Revolution before signing with Tottenham Hotspur in 2012. In 2013, he joined MLS side Seattle Sounders FC where he has since been a key contributor both on and off the field.

Clint Dempsey is married to fellow professional soccer player Megan Rapinoe and they have two children together Clint Dempsey is a well-known American professional soccer player who currently plays for Seattle Sounders FC.

Clint has played for the United States Men's National Team since 2002 and has represented his country in several tournaments, most notably at the FIFA Confederations Cup and CONCACAF Gold Cup. 

He was also part of the team that won the 2005 CONCACAF Gold Cup and 2007 MLS Supporters' Shield with Seattle Sounders FC before departing to Fulham on loan in 2014.

After rejoining his original club, Dempsey helped them win their first ever championship in 2017 by scoring two goals in the playoffs against Toronto FC (including one in extra time).

Matt Turner is a goalkeeper who has played for Arsenal in the Premier League. Turner was born on June 24, 1994 in Park Ridge, New Jersey and attended Fairfield Stags academy before signing with Arsenal as a junior player in 2012.

He made his professional debut for Arsenal against Newcastle United in March of 2015 and has since gone on to make over 30 appearances for the club including two Champions League matches. 

In addition to playing professionally, Matt also competes internationally for the USA Men's National Team where he has been capped at U-20 level as well as making one appearance for the full national team squad.

Josmer Volmy Altidore was born on November 6, 1989 in Livingston, New Jersey. He is a 33-year-old striker for the New England Revolution and has played for NY Red Bulls (2008–2011), Villarreal (2009) and Xerez (loan) during his career.

Jozy Altidore made his international debut with the United States in 2014 and scored against Ghana that year to help team USA qualify for the World Cup Finals. 

In 2018, he helped the Revolution win their fourth MLS Cup title after scoring two goals in their 4-1 victory over Toronto FC at BMO Field.

Josmer Volmy Altidore was named MVP of MLS Cup 2018 as well as being nominated for both FIFA Men's Player of the Year award and the CONCACAF Gold Boot Award that season.

Alexi Lalas was born on June 1, 1970 in Birmingham, Michigan. He played for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights from 1988 to 1991 and became a starter his senior year.

Alexi Lalas has spent most of his career playing as a defender for various teams in the United States and Canada including LA Galaxy (2002-2004), Olympiakos Ferencvaros (2005-2007) and Montreal Impact (2008-2010).

In 2010, he joined MLS side Colorado Rapids where he remained until 2014 before joining Atlanta United FC Alexi Lalas is a well-known American soccer player who played for several clubs in the United States and abroad.

He first gained prominence as a member of the U.S. national team, where he won three CONCACAF Gold Cups and two Copa America trophies between 1992 and 1998. After retiring from professional play, Lalas became an analyst with Fox Sports before joining ESPN in 2014 as a studio host and NFL commentator.

In 2007, Lalas was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame.

Sebastian Lletget is a midfielder for FC Dallas. He was born on September 3, 1992 in San Francisco, California and started his career with Santa Clara Sporting before joining West Ham United in 2013.

In 2015 he moved to LA Galaxy where he has been a regular starter since then. Sebastian has represented the USA at under-20 level and played alongside some of the biggest stars in world football including Neymar Jr., Gareth Bale and Wayne Rooney during his time with the senior team.

Omar Gonzalez is a 34-year-old center back who has played for the United States national team. He was born in Dallas, Texas and started his career at the Dallas Texans before moving to Maryland University where he made 69 appearances over three seasons.

After leaving college, Gonzalez moved to MLS side New England Revolution and has since established himself as one of their key players. Omar Gonzalez is a talented defender who has represented the United States internationally for many years. He started his career at LA Galaxy before moving to Europe in 2012, where he played for 1.

FC Nürnberg and Pachuca. In 2016, Omar joined Liga MX side Pachuca on loan, helping them win the league title that season. After spending two seasons with Atlas in Mexico's second division, he rejoined Toronto FC in 2019 as their new captain and helped them reach the MLS Cup final that year. 

Omar will continue playing professionally until 2021 when he will turn 34-years old - making him one of the oldest players in Major League Soccer history.

Christian Makoun is a Venezuelan footballer who currently plays for New England Revolution in the MLS. Christian started his career with Zamora before joining New England Revolution in 2018.

He has played as both defensive midfielder and defender for the club so far. Christian was born on 5 March 2000 in Valencia, Venezuela, and he has been playing football since he was young. Christians senior career began at Zamora where he made 36 appearances over three seasons between 2015-18.

In 2018, Christian joined New England Revolution after being signed by head coach Jay Heaps from Zamora FC's youth team Christian Makoun Reyes is a versatile player who can play either as a defensive midfielder or defender Makoun was born in France to a Haitian father and Ivorian mother. 

Makoun started his career with Zamora, before moving on to play for Juventus U23 and Inter Miami during the 2018-19 season.

He then joined Fort Lauderdale CF on loan for the 2020 MLS season, helping them win the Florida Cup. In January 2021, he signed with New England Revolution of Major League Soccer (MLS).

Tajon Buchanan is a Canadian winger who currently plays for Club Brugge. He made his debut in the Belgian Pro League in 2018 and has since scored six goals in 38 appearances.

Tajon Buchanan was also part of the Canada U-20 squad that won the 2017 Toulon Tournament, scoring two goals along the way. He is set to feature at this year's World Cup with Canada, where he will be aiming to help them reach the knockout stages for the first time ever.

Tajon Buchanan was born on February 8th 1999 and is therefore just 23 years old. Tajon Buchanan is a versatile midfielder who has played for both the Syracuse Orange and Sigma FC in college. 

Tajon Buchanan was drafted by the New England Revolution in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft, but did not sign with them immediately and instead signed a loan deal with Club Brugge.

In his first season with Club Brugge, Tajon Buchanan made 24 appearances and scored two goals. 

He returned to America this offseason and joined up with the New England Revolution once again, appearing in eight games so far this year before being loaned out to Canada for their international friendly matches later this month.

Tajon Buchanan is an exciting player who can play any midfield position well; he will be a valuable asset to whichever team he signs on with next.

Latif Blessing is a Ghanaian midfielder who currently plays for New England Revolution in the MLS. Blessed has played at various youth levels with Accra Hearts of Oak and made his senior debut in 2015.

Blessed has been praised by coaches and teammates alike for his tenacity on the pitch, as well as his ability to create chances for others. His versatility means that he can play anywhere across midfield or forward, making him an important part of any team's attack.

Carles Gil is a Spanish attacking midfielder who currently plays for the New England Revolution in the MLS. Gil was born in Valencia, Spain in 1992 and started his career at local side Valencia CF.

He made his senior debut with Valencia in 2011 and went on to score 18 goals in 107 appearances for the La Liga club. Gil signed for Aston Villa in the summer of 2015 and made an immediate impact, scoring 10 goals in 36 appearances in all competitions.

Gil was loaned to Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna in January 2017 and scored eight goals in 31 appearances. 

Gil moved to the New England Revolution in July 2017 and has since made 26 appearances, scoring six goals. Gil has represented Spain at under-20, under-21, and under-23 levels and made one appearance for the senior side.

Shalrie Joseph is a Grenadian international who played for the New England Revolution in 2010. Shalrie became a professional footballer in 2000 when he joined the St.

John's Red Storm. He made over 100 appearances for the club over the next four seasons before moving to the New England Revolution in 2006. Joseph played a big role for New England during their 2006 and 2007 MLS Cup triumphs.

He was voted the 2007 MLS Defender of the Year and was also nominated for the 2007 MLS MVP award. Joseph left the Revolution in 2010 to join the Chicago Fire, but rejoined them in late 2013. He has made over 200 appearances in MLS, scoring 20 goals.

Joseph has also played for the Grenada national team, making over 30 appearances. He retired from professional football in late 2017 and now works as a football coach.

Brad Knighton is an American goalkeeper who spent time with the UNCW Seahawks during his college career. Knighton made his professional debut with the Carolina RailHawks in 2011 and has since played for numerous other teams in the United States and abroad.

Knighton is a regular member of the United States national team and has represented his country at various tournaments, including the 2010 and 2014 World Cups. Knighton is currently a goalkeeper for Los Angeles FC and is one of the most highly rated players in the league.

Knighton is a two-time MLS Cup champion, having won the title with the LA Galaxy in 2013 and the Houston Dynamo in 2017.

Matt Reis is a former goalkeeper who played for the Los Angeles Galaxy, New England Revolution and UCLA Bruins. He was a part of the Galaxy team that reached the MLS Cup Final in 2002, but they were defeated by the New England Revolution.

Reis then moved to the Revolution, where he played for four seasons. He won the MLS Cup in 2003 and the US Open Cup in 2004. He retired from professional football in 2013. Reis is now a goalkeeper coach with the LA Galaxy. He has also been a television analyst for various tournaments.

Matt Reis was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended UCLA and was a part of the Bruins team that reached the NCAA Final in 1997. Reis is married and has two children. Matt Reis has been an assistant coach for both the LA Galaxy and United States men's national team. 

He is known for his defensive work, which has helped the United States win multiple CONCACAF Gold Cups.

Reis has also had a successful managerial career, including leading LA Galaxy to the MLS Cup in 2014. Reis is expected to join Columbus Crew in 2019 as an assistant coach.

Gustavo Bou is a forward for the New England Revolution in Major League Soccer. Bou was born in Concordia, Argentina in 1990. He began playing football at a young age and represented his country at the U16, U17, and U20 levels.

Bou made his professional debut with New England in 2011. Bou has since made over 100 appearances in MLS, scoring 20 goals. Bou was named to the MLS All-Star team in 2014 and 2016. Bou has been a regular for Argentina at both the senior and youth levels.

Rennicks started his career with New England Revolution in 2012. In 2017, he was called up to the United States U20 team. He made his senior debut for the Revolution in 2019.

Rennicks is an attacking midfielder and forward. He has been praised for his dribbling skills and passing ability. Rennicks is a mainstay for the Revolution and is expected to be a key player for them in the future.

He is a US citizen and has been called up to the national team. Rennicks is a graduate of South Hamilton High School. He is currently training with the U.S. Men's National Team. 

Justin Rennicks was a two-year starter for the Indiana Hoosiers, helping lead the team to a 29-6-1 record and an NCAA Tournament appearance his senior season.

Rennicks was drafted in the first round (11th overall) of the 2019 MLS SuperDraft by the Boston Bolts, but was loaned to the New England Revolution II in early 2020.

Steve Ralston was born on June 14, 1974 in Oakville, Missouri. Steve played for the FIU Golden Panthers from 1993-1995. Ralston then played for the Tampa Bay Mutiny from 1996-2001.

Steve Ralston is a former American soccer player who played for clubs in the United States and Canada. After playing college soccer at the University of Akron, Ralston made his professional debut with the Cleveland Crunch of the American Professional Soccer League in 1997. 

He made a name for himself with the Houston Dynamo, where he spent six seasons as an assistant before joining the San Jose Earthquakes in 2015.

Joe-Max Moore played for UCLA during his college career. After playing for 1. FC Saarbrücken and 1. FC Nürnberg, Moore joined the New England Revolution in 1996.

Moore made 49 appearances for the Revolution during his time there. Moore was traded to the Colorado Rapids in 1999, but he was released shortly after. Moore then signed with the Dallas Burn, but he was released after just one season.

Walter Zenga is a 62-year-old Italian goalkeeper who played for Inter Milan and Sampdoria in the 1990s. Zenga started his career at Macallesi 1927, before joining Inter Milan in 1978.

Wilfrid Kaptoum is a Cameroonian footballer who currently plays for Spanish side Las Palmas. He started his career at Barcelona, before moving to Las Palmas in 2017.
