Sidney Crosby is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who currently plays with the Pittsburgh Penguins in the National Hockey League (NHL). 

He was drafted first overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2005 and has won four consecutive Stanley Cups with them, making him one of only six players to have three or more championship titles with one team.

Crosby also holds numerous NHL records, including most points (1,087), most assists (927), and most goals (801). In 2014-15 he led the league in scoring for a record seventh time and was awarded his third Hart Memorial Trophy as MVP of the NHL season. 

Crosby is considered to be one of the greatest players ever and has been honored with many accolades including being named Sportsman of The Year twice by The Globe And Mail newspaper. 

Winning an Olympic gold medal as part of Canada's national men's ice hockey team at Sochi 2014, becoming captain of Team Canada for two periods in 2018.

Malkin was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2005 and has been one of their top players ever since. Malkin won the Stanley Cup with the Penguins in 2009, 2012, and 2017.

He also played on Russia's gold medal-winning teams at the 2010 Winter Olympics and 2014 Winter Olympics. Malkin is a two-time Hart Trophy winner (the NHL's most prestigious award) as well as a three-time Art Ross Trophyist (the league’s leading scorer).

In 2018 he became only the fourth player in history to score 500 goals during his career, joining Wayne Gretzky, Sidney Crosby, and Gordie Howe. 

On 31 January 2019 Evgeni Malkin announced that he would be retiring from professional hockey after 19 seasons with the Pittsburgh Penguins Evgeni Malkin is a Russian-born professional ice hockey player who has played for the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL) since 2003.

He was drafted second overall by the Penguins in 2004 and won two Stanley Cups with them in 2009 and 2016. 

Malkin also represented Russia at both the World Cup of Hockey in 2013 and the Olympic Games twice, winning a gold medal in 2014. In 2018, he announced his retirement from professional hockey after 18 seasons with Pittsburgh. 

Evgeni Malkin is widely considered to be one of the best players ever to play in the NHL and ranks fifth all-time on the points scored list behind only Wayne Gretzky, Gordie Howe, Mario Lemieux and Mark Messier.

Kris Letang is a talented defenseman for the Pittsburgh Penguins. He was drafted by the Penguins in 2008 and has since been one of their most consistent players.

Letang has won multiple awards, including the Norris Trophy in 2012 and 2017, as well as two Stanley Cups with the team. Injuries have kept him from playing at his best over recent years but he remains a key player for Pittsburgh nonetheless.

As one of the top defenders in NHL history, Kris Letang will always be remembered by fans and critics alike Kris Letang is a very talented defenceman who has been playing in the NHL for six years and is currently with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

He was drafted 62nd overall by Pittsburgh in the 2005 NHL Draft and has since made an impact both on and off the ice for his team.

In 2006, he won silver at the World Juniors Championship as part of Team Canada's squad, before helping lead his club to their first Stanley Cup victory in 2009. 

In 2010–11 he established himself as one of the best defenders in hockey, finishing fourth in voting for league MVP honors after leading all blueliners with 27 goals scored - earning him a spot on ice at this year's All-Star Game alongside some of his biggest rivals from that season - Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin.

Kris Letang continues to be one of Pittsburgh's most important players; having led them back to Stanley Cup glory last year, they are looking forward to another successful campaign this time around under new head coach Mike Johnston.

Jake Guentzel is a versatile forward who has played in both the NHL and AHL. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the third round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

In 2017, he led all rookie forwards with 31 goals and 74 points in 82 games for the Penguins. He won a Stanley Cup as part of Pittsburgh's championship team that season.

In 2018, he signed an eight-year contract extension with Pittsburgh worth $36 million dollars Jake Guentzel is a left-wing for the Pittsburgh Penguins and was drafted in the 77th overall by them in 2013.

He has played his entire NHL career with them to date, recording 54 points (24 goals and 30 assists) over that time span. 

Jake was named captain of Team USA at the 2017 World Junior Championships where he led his squad to a silver medal finish after losing the final against Canada.

Having started out playing minor hockey with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins organization, Jake made his professional debut when he joined their American Hockey League affiliate during the 2014–15 season. 

Injuries limited him to just 25 games across three seasons with Pittsburg during 2016–17 and 2017–18 but still managed 12 goals and 16 assists as well as being awarded AHL Player of The Year honors both years respectively.

On July 1st, 2018, Jake signed an extension with Pittsburgh through 2024 which would make him one of only 5 players ever to have played their entire NHL career with one team (the others are Jaromir Jagr, Nicklas Lidstrom, Patrick Roy & Sidney Crosby). 

At 6'1", 211 lb., Jake is considered physically imposing on ice which allows him to become a dominant force on offense, especially when driving towards the net or taking advantage of loose pucks around the opposing goalmouths - something that has helped him tally 24 powerplay markers throughout his NHL career so far.

5. Marc-André Fleury

Fleury is a goaltender for the Vegas Golden Knights. He was drafted by Pittsburgh in the first round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. Fleury played junior hockey with Sorel-Tracy before being drafted by Pittsburgh and made his NHL debut with them in the 2005-06 season.

Fleury has won two Stanley Cups as a member of the Penguins, one with them in 2009 and another with Vegas in 2018. He has also been named to four All-Star Games (2008, 2009, 2010, 2016). 

In 2017 he signed an eight-year contract extension worth $72 million with Vegas making him their highest-paid player ever at that time.

As of 2019, he had recorded 511 wins which makes him fourth all-time behind Martin Brodeur (691), Ken Dryden (575) and Patrick Roy (551).

Fleury was drafted 1st overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2003 and has since played for six different NHL teams. Fleury is a two-time Vezina Trophy winner (the league's top goalie award) and helped lead the Penguins to their first Stanley Cup in 2009.

In 2018, Fleury signed with Vegas Golden Knights as a free agent and led them to their first ever playoff berth. 

Fleury retired from professional hockey after the 2017–18 season but continues to play for Canada at international tournaments. A native of Montreal, Quebec, Fleury is married with three kids and currently resides in Las Vegas.

6. Mario Lemieux

Mario Lemieux is one of the most successful hockey players of all time. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1997 and won four Stanley Cups with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Born in Montreal, Quebec, Lemieux began playing organized hockey at a young age. 

He played for several minor league teams before joining the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1984-85 season. In his rookie year, Lemieux led the NHL in scoring with 104 points (40 goals and 62 assists).

The following year he repeated as leading scorer and helped lead Pittsburg to their first-ever Stanley Cup victory over Calgary Flames. 

At 36 years old, Lemieux became only the fifth player to score 50 or more goals in each of his first 10 seasons in an NHL career During his 20-year career.

Mario scored 692 total goals including 581 while playing for Pittsburgh Penguins alone; this makes him one of only six players to score 700 regular season goals during their professional careers In the 1996-97 season he captured his fourth.

At the age of 15, he joined the Pittsburgh Penguins and quickly became one of their most important players. 

He led his team to three Stanley Cup championships (1991–92, 1992–93, 1993–94) and four Eastern Conference titles before retiring at the end of the 1997 season. 

In 2000, he came back to play for Pittsburgh but retired again after just two seasons due to a recurring neck injury. 

In 2006, Lemieux returned as a consultant with the Penguins organization and helped them win their fourth Stanley Cup championship that year. 

Mario Lemieux is regarded as one of the greatest ever NHL players and is currently sixth all-time in goals scored with 691 career points (382 goals + 369 assists). 

He has been honored with several awards including being named MVP twice (1992–93 & 1994–95), winning an Olympic gold medal in 2002 and World Championship silver medal in 1987 among others.

Jaromír Jágr is a Czech winger who has played for the Pittsburgh Penguins, HC Bolzano, Washington Capitals, New York Rangers and Dallas Stars in his career.

Jaromír Jágr was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the second round of the 1990 NHL Draft. He made his professional debut with Rytíři Kladno in 1989-90 before joining HC Bolzano two years later.

In 1996, Jaromír Jágr joined the Washington Capitals as one of their first-ever international players and helped them reach the Stanley Cup Finals that year. 

After three seasons with Washington, he moved to New York Rangers where he spent six seasons before moving on to Dallas Stars in the 2009-10 season.

After spending just one season with Dallas Star Jaromír Jágr is a Slovak-born Czech professional ice hockey player who has played his entire career in the NHL. 

Jágr was drafted fifth overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1990 and made his debut with them that same year. He has since won two Stanley Cups (1991, 1992) and one Conn Smythe Trophy as MVP of the playoffs (2002).

Jágr also represented Czechoslovakia at three Olympic Games, winning a silver medal at Nagano in 1998 and gold medals at Turin in 2006 and Sochi in 2014. 

In 2017 he announced his retirement from professional ice hockey after playing 19 seasons with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Murphy was a Norris Trophy winner as the best defenceman in the NHL in 1988. 

He played for the Philadelphia Flyers, Los Angeles Kings and Chicago Blackhawks before retiring after the 2002-03 season.

Murphy has been inducted into both the Hockey Hall of Fame and Canada's Sports Hall of Fame. 

In 2010 he became an assistant coach with his hometown Toronto Maple Leafs team Larry Murphy was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in 1980 and played for them until 2001.

He won a Stanley Cup with the Kings in 1993 and was also an All-Star several times throughout his career. 

After leaving the NHL, Murphy went on to play for teams in Europe including spells with the Washington Capitals, Pittsburgh Penguins, Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings.

In 2002 he retired from professional hockey after playing 18 seasons across all levels of competition. 

Larry Murphy is now a broadcaster for Hockey Night in Canada where he covers both Canadian provincial championships as well as international matches featuring Team Canada.

He is also a two-time Stanley Cup champion with both the Senators and Penguins. Francis won gold at the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics as part of Canada's men's hockey team. 

Francis retired from professional hockey in 2003 after playing parts of 11 seasons with three different teams Francis was drafted 4th overall by the Hartford Whalers in the 1981 NHL Draft.

He played for Hartford Whalers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Carolina Hurricanes and Toronto Maple Leafs over his career. Francis was a part of Canada's 1988 Winter Olympics team which finished fourth place. Francis retired from professional hockey following the 2004-05 season.

Mark Recchi is a Hockey Hall of Fame inductee, and was one of the most prolific scorers in NHL history. He played for Pittsburgh Penguins, Philadelphia Flyers, Montreal Canadiens and Carolina Hurricanes over his 19-year career.

Mark Recchi was known as an excellent right winger who could score goals with either hand. His legendary long shot helped him become one of the most popular players in the NHL during his era. 

In 2017, he was honoured by being named one of Canada's Top 100 Most Influential People in History - a distinction that speaks volumes about his legacy both on and off the ice.

Mark Recchi is a retired professional ice hockey player who spent 14 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Boston Bruins, Pittsburgh Penguins and Atlanta Thrashers. Recchi was born on October 25, 1967 in Toronto, Ontario. 

He played junior hockey for the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). After his junior career was over, Recchi signed an entry-level contract with the Boston Bruins in 1987.

He made his NHL debut that season and went on to play 614 regular season games over fourteen seasons with Boston, Pittsburgh and Atlanta before retiring after the 2011–12 season. 

In 1994–95 he won both the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy as best gentlemanly player in the NHL and The Frank J Selke Trophy as best defensive forward in league history. 

Mark Recchi has also represented Canada internationally at several tournaments including World Championship tournaments where he won gold medals at both 1997 Finland tournament and 2006 Russia tournament respectively.

On November 2nd 2016 it was announced that Mark recchi had been diagnosed with multiple myeloma which required him to take chemotherapy treatments from December onward until his death on January 17th 2017 at 57 years old due to complications from cancer.

Rick Tocchet was born in Scarborough, Ontario on April 9th of 1964. Tocchet played his minor hockey for the Toronto Marlies and then joined the Philadelphia Flyers organization.

He made his NHL debut with the Flyers in 1985-86 and went on to play twelve seasons with them before joining Pittsburgh in 2004-05 as a free agent. In total, Tocchet recorded 549 points (269 goals, 280 assists) over 1327 games during his career including 16 postseason appearances.

After leaving professional ice hockey Rick became an analyst for Fox Sports North and NBCSN before being named head coach of Arizona Coyotes in May 2017 but was fired after just 43 days into the job。 Rick Tocchet is a retired NHL player who played for the Boston Bruins, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Arizona Coyotes.

He was also briefly coached by Mike Keenan with the Tampa Bay Lightning. Rick Tocchet enjoyed a successful playing career, winning two Stanley Cups as part of the Tampa Bay Lighting team in 1996 and 2004. 

After his playing days ended he went on to become an assistant coach with several teams including the Flyers and Phoenix Coyotes before becoming head coach of the Arizona Coyotes in 2015.

As a player, Rick Tocchet had an accurate shot and was known for his physical play; these qualities have served him well as an assistant coach where he demands high levels of discipline from his players.

In 2002 Rick Tocochet became head coach of the minor league affiliate Tucson Roadrunners where he led them to their first Calder Cup Championship in the 2006-07 season. 

After three seasons at Tucson Roadrunners, he moved up to be the head coach of the Philadelphia Phantoms where he remained until being appointed head coach of Team Canada at the World Championships in 2017 which they won gold medal.

Jeff Carter is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who currently plays for the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL). Carter was drafted by the Boston Bruins in the first round, 18th overall, at the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.

He played three seasons with Boston before being traded to LA along with prospect Matt Frattin in exchange for defenseman Robyn Regehr and draft picks on July 4, 2006. In his nine-year career with LA, he has scored 387 goals and 733 points in 1,077 games played.

He led all players in scoring during both of LA's Stanley Cup Playoff runs from 2012–13 to 2014–15 and helped lead them to their first championship win against Chicago Blackhawks in six games during the 2015 playoffs. 

On January 6th 2019 Jeff Carter announced his retirement from professional hockey after 17 years playing professionally including 10 seasons as captain of The Los Angeles Kings.

Joe Mullen was a forward who played in the NHL for 17 seasons. He is best known for his time with the Boston Bruins, where he won two Stanley Cups. Mullen also played for the New York Rangers and Philadelphia Flyers, winning another Stanley Cup with Philadelphia in 1999.

After retirement from playing hockey, Mullen became a scout and consultant with teams around the league. He has been inducted into both the Hockey Hall of Fame and United States Hockey Hall of Fame. 

In 2007, Mullen was named assistant coach of the UMass Minutemen men's ice hockey team after serving as an assistant coach at Boston University under Jack Parker from 2002 to 2006.

On July 5th, 2016 Joe Mullen was announced as head coach of HC Slovan Bratislava in Slovakia’s top division 1st League Joe Mullen was a prolific scorer in the NHL, netting over 500 goals and 1,000 points in his career. 

Joe Mullen also played for Calgary Flames, St. Louis Blues, Pittsburgh Penguins and Boston Bruins before retiring in 1997. Joe Mullen was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2006 as a member of the United States national team.

Joe Mullen is currently an executive vice president with the National Hockey League (NHL) Players' Association (NHLPA).

He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the first round, third overall, of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

Staal made his NHL debut with Pittsburgh in 2007 and has since appeared in 639 regular season games, scoring 129 goals and adding 168 assists for 283 points. In 2011-12 he won his first Stanley Cup as captain of the Penguins over Boston Bruins in seven games.

Staal signed a six-year contract extension worth $18 million with Carolina on July 1, 2013.[1] Jordan's father Brent played defenceman for both Toronto Maple Leafs and Calgary Flames during his NHL career before retiring after playing parts of four seasons with Edmonton Oilers from 1985 to 1989.

His younger brother Eric also plays professionally in Europe; he has previously played for HC Davos of Switzerland[3], SC Bernoforte II[4], EHC Biel/Bienne[5], HC Fribourg-Gotteron[6]and ASEC Mimosas FC where he currently resides as team captain.

He signed a one-year contract extension with Carolina on March 24, 2016 worth $925,000 ($7500 x 60 = $4850 per game). In 2017-18 McGinn played 48 games for both the Checkers and Hurricanes scoring 23 goals while adding 28 assists for 55 points total.

On July 1st 2018 Brock signed a three year deal as an unrestricted free agent to return to Carolina where he has spent his entire career up until now playing 147 NHL games recording 61 points (26G, 35A) including 10 playoff appearances recording 7 points (2G, 5A) from 2016 to 2019 seasons.

Jason Zucker is a 30-year-old forward for the Pittsburgh Penguins. 

He was drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in the second round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft and played his first three seasons with that team before being traded to Minnesota Wild in 2015.

In 2019, Zucker signed with the Penguins as an unrestricted free agent and has been playing well this season, scoring 12 goals and adding 10 assists through 54 games.

Darius Kasparaitis is a Lithuanian-born defenceman who played in the NHL for the New York Islanders, Pittsburgh Penguins, and most recently, Hartford Wolf Pack.

He was originally drafted by the Hartford Wolf Pack in 2006 after playing for Dynamo Moscow of the Russian Super League. In 2011 he won his first Stanley Cup with Pittsburgh over Vancouver in six games.

After losing to Tampa Bay in the Eastern Conference Final in 2013, Kasparaitis returned to Russia to play with CSKA Moscow before returning to North America two seasons later with Anaheim as an unrestricted free agent. 

He rejoined Pittsburgh at the start of 2017–18 but left them just four months later after failing a drug test which resulted in him being suspended from hockey indefinitely On July 1st 2018, Kasparaitis signed a one-year contract extension with HC Sochi of Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).

Tom Barrasso is a former goaltender who played in the National Hockey League for fifteen seasons. He was drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in the first round of the 1987 NHL Entry Draft and spent his entire career with that team.

In 2004, he was named to the NHL All-Star Game as a member of the Western Conference team and also won two Stanley Cup championships with Colorado during his time there. 

After retiring as a player, Barrasso became an assistant coach for Team USA at both the 2010 and 2014 Olympic Games, where they reached third place on each occasion.

Tom currently works as an analyst for NBC Sports' hockey coverage and has also been involved in broadcasting other sports competitions such as golf tournaments and NASCAR races from time to time over recent years.
