The Hartford Wolf Pack are an iconic professional ice hockey team based in Hartford, Connecticut. Founded in 1926 as the Providence Reds, the team has had a long and storied history, relocating multiple times before settling in Hartford in 1997.

Today, they are proud members of the American Hockey League (AHL) and play their home games at the XL Center. With a rich tradition of success, the Hartford Wolf Pack are an exciting team to follow and cheer on.

Savard played for the Boston Bruins from 1997 to 2011. Savard won two Stanley Cups with the Bruins in 2010 and 2011. Savard was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2012, but he has since recovered.

In 2018, Savard announced his retirement from hockey after 17 seasons in the NHL. Savard is a three-time All-Star and was named to the NHL Second All-Star Team twice (in 2003 and 2005). 

In 2007,Savard was awarded the James Norris Memorial Trophy as the best defenseman in the NHL that season.

Savard has also been nominated for four Vezina Awards (the league's top goalie award) over his career, winning once (in 2009). Marc Savard currently works as an analyst on Sportsnet 590 The Fan radio station when not playing or coaching hockey himself.

Pavel Buchnevich was born in Cherepovets, Russia on April 17th 1995. He is 6'3" and weighs 193 pounds. Buchnevich plays right wing for the St. Louis Blues of the NHL.

Pavel has played with SKA Saint Petersburg, HC Sochi, and Lada Togliatti in his career to date.

Darius Kasparaitis is a Lithuanian-born defenceman who played in the NHL for the New York Islanders, Pittsburgh Penguins, and most recently, Hartford Wolf Pack.

He was originally drafted by the Hartford Wolf Pack in 2006 after playing for Dynamo Moscow of the Russian Super League. In 2011 he won his first Stanley Cup with Pittsburgh over Vancouver in six games.

After losing to Tampa Bay in the Eastern Conference Final in 2013, Kasparaitis returned to Russia to play with CSKA Moscow before returning to North America two seasons later with Anaheim as an unrestricted free agent. 

He rejoined Pittsburgh at the start of 2017–18 but left them just four months later after failing a drug test which resulted in him being suspended from hockey indefinitely On July 1st 2018, Kasparaitis signed a one-year contract extension with HC Sochi of Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).

Lauri Korpikoski is a 36-year-old left wing from Finland. He has played for HC TPS in the Finnish Liiga, as well as several other clubs including Jokerit and KHL team Sochi SKA.

Korpikoski was drafted by the Boston Bruins in the 2nd round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft but never played for them due to contract issues with HC TPS. 

In 2013 he signed with KHL side Sochi SKA where he quickly emerged as one of their top players, winning both the Gagarin Cup and Sakharov Gold Medal in his first season there.

After two seasons in Russia, Lauri returned to Finland this summer signing with HIFK Helsinki on a three year deal worth around $1 million per year. Lauri is known for his strong skating ability and accurate shot which makes him an effective left winger on either attack or defensive play.

Dawes began his hockey career in Manitoba with the Adler Mannheim before moving to Germany to play for the Krefeld Pinguine. 

Dawes had a breakout season in 2012-13, scoring 33 goals and adding 32 assists for 65 points in 46 games played as Krefeld made it all the way to the playoff finals.

Injuries have hampered Dawes since then, limiting him to just 54 games over two seasons with Frankfurt and Kassel before he was released at the end of last year. 

Dawes has announced that he will return to Canada this offseason and sign with Winnipeg's newly formed affiliate team, the Manitoba Moose, who are coached by former NHL player Mike Keane.

The left wing is coming off an injury-plagued campaign where he recorded just four goals and eight assists in 53 games played but is looking forward to getting back on track with his new team this upcoming season.

Pavel Brendl was born in 1981, and is from the Czech Republic. He played for HC Pardubice of the Czech Extraliga before coming to North America in 2005.

Brendl first played in the NHL with Philadelphia Flyers, where he would stay until 2009 when he was traded to Carolina Hurricanes. In 2010, Pavel signed with Phoenix Coyotes, where he stayed through 2013 before being traded again – this time to the Carolina Hurricanes once more.

After spending two seasons back at HC Pardubice (2014-2015), Pavel finally returned to play in North America for Oceláři Třinec of the Czech Elite League during 2017-2018 season Pavel Brendl was drafted fourth overall by the New York Rangers in the 1999 NHL Draft. 

He played for HC Kometa Brno, Mora IK, Brynäs IF, and Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod before joining HC Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk in 2006-07.

Brendl then spent two seasons with KalPa before being traded to Liiga side KalPa JYP in 2009-10. In 2011-12 he joined Rapperswil-Jona Lakers of the National League A (NLA). 

After one season with HKM Zvolen he returned to North America and signed with the New York Rangers on a three year contract worth $8 million dollars as a free agent on July 1st 2016.

On March 1st 2016 Brodie Dupont recorded his first career hat trick in a 5-1 victory over Providence Bruins He finished off the regular season leading Hartford in goals (26) and points (54).

While being named to both AHL First All-Star Team and Eastern Conference Second All Star Team In seven playoff games he tallied six goals and three assists as Hartford made it all the way to their third Calder Cup championship series appearance in franchise history.

Ken Gernander is a retired American professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Minnesota North Stars and Dallas Stars.

Gernander played college hockey at the University of Minnesota, where he was a two-time All-American and helped the Golden Gophers win the NCAA championship in 1990.

Gernander was drafted by the Minnesota North Stars in the first round, seventh overall, of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut with the North Stars in 1991 and had a successful debut season, scoring 19 goals and 44 points in 72 games.

He was traded to the Dallas Stars in the summer of 1993 and had another successful season, scoring 36 goals and 78 points in 82 games. 

Gernander was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs in the summer of 1997 and had his most successful season as a player, scoring 31 goals and 76 points in 82 games.

He was traded to the Detroit Red Wings in the summer of 1999 and had his worst season as a player, scoring just six goals and 18 points in 54 games. 

Gernander retired from professional hockey following the 1999 season. Gernander is currently the head coach of the University of Minnesota's men's hockey team.

On February 13, 2017, Purinton was arrested for the shooting of Srinivas Kuchibhotla and Alok Madasani, two Indian nationals at a bar in Kansas City, Missouri.

Kuchibhotla and Madasani were killed, and Purinton was charged with first-degree murder. Purinton has pleaded not guilty, and his trial is scheduled to begin in February 2019. 

Purinton is a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana. After retiring from professional hockey, Purinton became a real estate agent.

Purinton is a member of the Republican Party. Purinton has two children. On February 17, 2017, Purinton's home in Fort Wayne, Indiana was burned down. 

Dale Purinton was drafted by the New York Rangers in the 1995 NHL Draft and played for the team from 1997 to 2008. Purinton was known for his defense-first play and was a key player on the Rangers' Stanley Cup-winning teams in 2002 and 2007.
