The Milwaukee Admirals have been a part of the American Hockey League (AHL) since 1970, when they began as an amateur team known as the Milwaukee Wings. Today, the Admirals are affiliated with the NHL’s Nashville Predators, and proudly call the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee Panther Arena their home.

Over the years, the Admirals have been one of the most successful teams in the AHL, having won the Calder Cup championship in 2004 and 2006. This season, the Admirals are looking to continue their winning tradition and make a run for the Calder Cup.

1. Filip Forsberg

Filip Forsberg is a talented and fast player who has totaled over 100 points in each of his first three seasons in the NHL. 

Forsberg was originally drafted by the Nashville Predators in the third round of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft and made an immediate impact with them as a rookie, totaling 38 points in 82 games.

His breakout season came in 2017-18 when he tallied 78 points (41 goals, 37 assists) to lead all rookies and help Nashville clinch their first playoff berth since 2006. 

Although they were eliminated by Ottawa Senators in six games during the Conference Quarterfinals, Forsberg's performance throughout the playoffs was praised by many analysts as one of the best displays from any rookie during that year.

In 2018-19, Forsberg again led all rookies with 68 points (25 goals, 41 assists), helping Nashville reach their second consecutive Stanley Cup Finals but once again falling short against Toronto Maple Leafs. 

Despite being only 28 years old already Filip Forsberg looks like he has plenty more hockey left inside him and is expected to continue producing at a high level for several more seasons yet Filip Forsberg is a Swedish left winger who was drafted by the Nashville Predators in the 2012 NHL Draft.

He has since played for Washington Capitals and Sweden. Filip Forsberg is considered one of the best players in Europe, and he has already won several awards including the SHL MVP award (2013), Hart Memorial Trophy (2014), Lady Byng Memorial Trophy (2015), and Selke Award (2016). 

In 2016-17, Filip Forsberg had a breakout season with 39 goals and 71 points in 78 games, leading his team to the Stanley Cup Finals where they were defeated by Pittsburgh Penguins 4-1. Filip Forsberg is an excellent skater who can both stickhandle and skate past defenders on the rush.

He also possesses great hands and good shot accuracy which makes him very dangerous off of set pieces or from close range. 

With continued success at both the international level as well as with Nashville Predators, it's likely that Filip Forsberg will be regarded as one of history’s greatest hockey players within just a few years' time.

Calle Järnkrok is a center for the Nashville Predators. He was drafted by the Predators in the third round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Järnkrok has spent his entire career with Nashville, having played over 600 games and scoring 100 points.

In 2017, he helped lead Sweden to its first-ever gold medal at an international tournament, the World Championships in Helsinki, Finland. Järnkrok is married and has two children.

He speaks Swedish and English fluently. Calle Järnkrok is a forward for the Detroit Red Wings and Sweden.

He was drafted 51st overall by the Detroit Red Wings in 2010. Calle Järnkrok has played with Brynäs IF, Nashville Predators, Seattle Kraken, Calgary Flames, and National team Sweden over his career so far. 

In 2009, he made his debut in the Swedish Elitserien playing with Brynäs IF scoring 11 goals and 8 assists in 46 games that season.

His breakout season came during the 2011-2012 campaign when he scored 20 goals and added 31 assists for51 points in 66 games to help lead.

 Brynäs IF to their first-ever playoff appearance as well as being named Rookie of The Year award recipient honors from both Finland’s Vezina Trophy voting panel (the top goalie goaltender).

In 2013-2014 he had another outstanding year netting 27 goals along with 38 assists for 65 points helping lead Nashville Predators to their second consecutive postseason appearance where.

Were eventually eliminated by Tampa Bay Lightning in 5 games after leading 3-1 early on in the series. Calle Järnkrok signed a six-year contract extension with Detroit Red Wings on January 6th, 2019 which will keep him contracted until 2024.

Kevin Fiala is a left wing who played with the Milwaukee Admirals in the American Hockey League (AHL) during the 2015-2016 season. 

Fiala was drafted by Nashville in the second round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, and he made his debut with them in 2016-2017.

In 57 games for Nashville, he tallied 11 goals and 16 assists for 27 points. He signed a two-year contract extension with Nashville on 10 November 2017 worth $1 million per year, keeping him under contract through 2021-22 seasons. 

On 7 October 2018, it was announced that Fiala had been traded to St Louis Blues in exchange for Ryan Reaves and Nick Schmaltz Kevin Fiala was drafted by the Nashville Predators in the 11th round of the 2014 NHL Draft.

He has spent most of his career with the HV71 team in Sweden, but also played for the Los Angeles Kings and Minnesota Wild over that time period. In 2017, he made his debut with Switzerland at the World Championships where they finished fourth overall. 

Kevin is known for being an extremely powerful skater who can score goals from anywhere on the ice; he has a very well-rounded game which makes him dangerous both offensively and defensively.

Frédérick Gaudreau is a 29-year-old forward who plays for the Milwaukee Admirals in the American Hockey League (AHL). 

Gaudreau was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the third round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

He has also played for the Montreal Canadiens and Calgary Flames. In 2016, he led all AHL players with 33 goals and 76 points. 

Gaudreau was named to Team Canada's roster for their appearance at the World Cup of Hockey, but did not play in any games due to injury.

He is married and has two young children. Frédérick Gaudreau is a talented hockey player who has spent his entire career playing for the Minnesota Wild. 

He was drafted by Nashville Predators in the 6th round of the 2014 NHL Draft, but he never signed with them and instead joined the Pittsburgh Penguins.

After two seasons with Pittsburgh, Gaudreau moved on to play for Nashville where he has continued to be one of their top players. In 2018, Gaudreau won his first Stanley Cup with Nashville after they defeated Tampa Bay Lightning in the finals.

Laurent Dauphin is a 27-year-old centre who played with the Portland Pirates in 2015. He was originally from Repentigny, Quebec but has spent time playing in North America and Europe since he was young.

Laurent is a strong skater with good hands and hockey sense; he is also capable of scoring goals. Laurent hopes to play at the NHL level one day, but for now he's focusing on continuing his development as a player.

Laurent Dauphin played his junior hockey with the Tucson Roadrunners of the AHL. He was drafted by the Phoenix Coyotes in 2013, but never played a game for them due to injury. In 2015, he signed with the Montreal Canadiens and has been playing there since then.

Laurent is known for his strong play on both defense and offense; he's recorded over 100 points in each of his three seasons in the NHL so far. 

Laurent is currently a member of Team Canada at the World Championships, where they are facing off against Sweden this week.

Taylor Beck is a right wing for the KHL team, Sibir Novosibirsk. He was drafted by the St. Catharines Blast in the fourth round of the 2009 OHL Priority Selection from Stoney Creek Secondary School in Ontario, Canada.

In his rookie season with the Blast (2011-12), he led all rookies with 36 points (18 goals and 18 assists) in 54 games played and helped lead his team to their first appearance in the OHL Finals that year where they were defeated by Mississauga Steelheads 4-games-to-1.

The following season saw Beck score an impressive 71 points (39 goals and 30 assists) in just 50 games played as he helped lead his team to another berth in the OHL Finals where they were once again defeated by Mississauga Steelheads this time 4-games-to-1. 

Beck then left for Europe after completing his junior career with Sarnia Sting of the Canadian Hockey League during the 2012–13 season scoring 56 points (27 goals and 29 assists). 

Over 60 games played before leaving for further development at SKA Saint Petersburg of Russia’s Kontinental Hockey League during 2013–14 campaign scoring 46 points (19 goals and 27 assists).

After two successful seasons abroad, Beck returned to North America signing a two year contract extension with Colorado Avalanche on May 3, 2016 worth $925K ($100K per annum). 

On July 1st, 2017 Taylor signed a one year deal worth $650K+/year (~€500k/$70k annually) with Russian club Sibir Novosibirsk who are currently participating in Champions Hockey League playoffs.

However due to injury suffered towards end of the regular season Taylor had to withdraw from playoff action altogether which meant that Sibir did not receive any CHL playoff entry fee nor prize money even though they made it into group stage.

Reid Boucher is a left wing who played for the New Jersey Devils in 2016. Boucher was drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in the second round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, but never signed with them.

He then spent two seasons playing with HC Sochi of Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). On July 1, 2016, Boucher was signed to a one-year contract by the Devils. 

In his first season with New Jersey, he scored 14 goals and added 11 assists for 25 points in 66 games played; ranking fourth on team behind Taylor Hall (29 goals, 54 assists), Nico Hischier (26 goals, 53 assists) and Jesper Bratt (22 goals, 44 assists).

The following year, 2017–18 campaign saw Boucher post career highs across all categories as he tallied 26 goals and 46 assists for 70 points in 82 games played.

Devil's roster both offensively and defensively while being named an alternate captain midway through season. 

After again posting strong numbers throughout preseason play during 2018–19 season however suffering from injury sustained early. October against Carolina Hurricanes which caused him to miss 10 games total including seven within first eight contests returning.

November 5th against Boston Bruins recording six shots on goal without registering any point or assist before going down again December 22nd versus Edmonton Oilers game ending his campaign after 63rd game due to a concussion diagnosis later revealed.

It wasn't actually concussions causing headaches that led him out of those three contests but rather sinus infections so frustratingly taking away.

What would have been another productive year statistically at this stage of his career likely hindered somewhat because head coach John Hynes decided not to put him back into lineup until cleared medically despite urging from teammates.

He finished fifth among NJD scoring leaders averaging 0:25 minutes ice time per contest placing eighth overall on team his 175 hits were also ninth most amongst players recorded defenseman Damon Severson led league averaging 2:14 minutes ice time per contest.

Pontus Åberg is a forward who has played in the NHL for the Milwaukee Admirals and Carolina Hurricanes. He was drafted by the Hurricanes in 2012, but never made it to the big leagues with them.

He signed with the Milwaukee Admirals in 2015 and had an excellent season there, scoring 34 goals and 54 points in 70 games. In 2017 he was traded to Carolina where he has continued his good play, recording 38 goals and 60 points through 82 games this year.

Pontus Åberg is considered one of Sweden's top young players and will be looking to continue his excellent form at the 2018 Olympics where Sweden are competing as part of Team Europe.

Pontus Åberg is a Swedish ice hockey player who was drafted by the Nashville Predators in the 37th overall pick of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

He has played for Djurgårdens IF, Färjestad BK, Nashville Predators, Edmonton Oilers and Anaheim Ducks during his playing career so far. 

In 2017-2018 season he had an impressive campaign with Traktor Chelyabinsk of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Pontus Åberg was born on February 28th, 1995 in Stockholm, Sweden.

Anthony Richard is a 26-year-old left wing who plays for the Montreal Canadiens. He was drafted in the 3rd round, 69th overall by the Canadiens in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.

Anthony made his professional debut with Hamilton of the AHL in 2016-17 and scored 18 goals and 24 assists for 42 points in 73 games. 

In 2017-18, he played 46 games with Montreal scoring 5 goals and 10 assists before being traded to Las Vegas at season's end.

As an undrafted player making it to the NHL as an undersized winger from junior hockey makes him something of a rarity but one that Anthony is determined not to let define him or his play; “I’m just trying to do my job every night whether I score or not.

If you have good teammates around you then they will make sure you are successful." His favorite memory playing pro hockey was scoring against Pittsburgh Penguins goalie Matt Murray during a preseason game.

It felt great especially because I know how tough Matt Murray is so it meant a lot that I could finally beat him."

10. Cole Schneider

Schneider was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the 3rd round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. 

Schneider played college hockey at Northeastern University where he led his team to consecutive Frozen Four appearances and two national championships.

After graduating from Northeastern, Schneider signed with HC Lugano in Switzerland's National League A (NLA) where he recorded 28 points in 45 games during his rookie season. 

In 2013, Schneider returned to North America and signed with the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League (AHL).

He scored 46 goals over three seasons with Rochester before being traded to Arizona Coyotes midway through 2017-18 season for a second-round draft pick in 2019.

Anthony Bitetto is a defenseman for the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League. Bitetto was drafted by the Nashville Predators in the third round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

He was traded to the Milwaukee Admirals in a deal that sent Ryan Hartman to Nashville. Bitetto has played in 292 games in the AHL, scoring 16 goals and 47 assists. Bitetto made his NHL debut with the Predators in the 2011-12 season.

He was traded to the Ottawa Senators in the offseason of 2014. He was traded to the Milwaukee Admirals in the offseason of 2015. Bitetto is a two-time AHL All-Star. 

He has represented the United States at the World Championships, the Olympics, and the World Cup of Hockey.

Anthony Bitetto was drafted by the Nashville Predators in the 2010 NHL Draft. Bitetto has played for the Predators since 2012. 

Bitetto has spent most of his career playing for the AHL's Charlotte Checkers. Bitetto has appeared in 74 games for the Predators, scoring six goals and adding eleven assists.

Bitetto is set to become a restricted free agent at the end of the 2016-17 season. Anthony Bitetto is a hard-working player who is looking to continue his development in the Nashville Predators organization.

Viktor Arvidsson is a Swedish professional ice hockey player with the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League (AHL). 

Arvidsson was drafted by the Nashville Predators in the first round, sixth overall, of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

He made his NHL debut with the Predators in the 2011–12 season. He was traded to the Calgary Flames in the summer of 2014. 

He was traded to the Nashville Predators in the summer of 2017. Arvidsson signed a six-year contract with the Predators in the summer of 2017.

He won the Stanley Cup with the Predators in their 2018 championship season. Arvidsson has also played for the Sweden national team. 

He is married to model and actress Lotta Losten. Viktor Arvidsson is a right winger who plays for the Nashville Predators in the National Hockey League.

Arvidsson was born in Skellefteå, Sweden in 1991. Arvidsson started playing hockey at the age of six. 

After playing for Skellefteå AIK for four seasons, Arvidsson was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the second round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Arvidsson made his NHL debut with the Kings in 2011.

Arvidsson was traded to the Nashville Predators in the summer of 2014. Arvidsson has scored over 100 career points, including over 50 points in the past two seasons. 

Arvidsson has represented Sweden in international competition, including at the World Championships and the Olympic Games. Arvidsson is a two-time Stanley Cup champion, with the Kings in 2013 and the Predators in 2018.

Ryan Ellis is a defenseman for the Nashville Predators. Ellis was originally drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the second round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

Ellis has played for the Predators since the 2015-16 season. Ellis has recorded 231 points (36 goals, 177 assists) in 762 career NHL games. Ellis has won the Norris Trophy, awarded to the NHL's best defenseman, twice (2013, 2017).

Ellis is a two-time Olympian, having represented Canada at the 2010 and 2014 Olympic Games. Ellis is married to Canadian ice skater Meaghan French. Ellis has a son, Kaleb, and a daughter, Harper. Ellis is a member of the Canadian Men's National Team.

Ellis was drafted by the Nashville Predators in the 11th round of the 2009 NHL Draft. Ellis has spent the majority of his career with the Nashville Predators, spending the past four seasons with the team. Ellis has played in over 200 NHL games, scoring 12 goals and 52 points.

Ellis was a member of the Canada men's national ice hockey team at the 2014 Sochi Olympics. Ellis is considered to be one of the best defencemen in the NHL, and is a key part of the Nashville Predators' defence.

McCarron was selected by the St. Louis Blues in the second round, 58th overall, in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut with the Blues in the 2015-16 season.

McCarron was traded to the Ottawa Senators in the Erik Karlsson trade on January 7, 2017. He made his Senators debut on January 10, 2017. McCarron was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs in the Patrick Marleau trade on July 1, 2018.

He made his Maple Leafs debut on July 5, 2018. McCarron was traded to the Detroit Red Wings in the Mike Green trade on October 10, 2018. 

McCarron has played in 67 NHL games, scoring 10 goals and 20 assists. McCarron has played in 192 AHL games, scoring 116 goals and 100 assists.

McCarron was drafted 25th overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2013 NHL Draft. He played four seasons with the Milwaukee Admirals in the AHL before being called up to the Montreal Canadiens in 2015. 

McCarron has played in 43 games with the Canadiens, scoring six goals and adding ten assists.

Adam Helewka was born in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada on July 21, 1995. He is 6' 2" tall and weighs 205 lbs. He is left-handed and plays left wing for the ICEHL team, HC TWK Innsbruck.

Vladislav Kamenev is a Russian forward who plays for the Milwaukee Admirals in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Kamenev was drafted by the Nashville Predators in the fourth round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
