The Kitchener Rangers are one of Canada’s most storied junior hockey teams, with a history that stretches back over seven decades.

Founded in 1947, the Rangers have produced some of the best players in the Ontario Hockey League and have won four J. Ross Robertson Cup championships, four Hamilton Spectator Trophy titles, and have appeared in six Memorial Cups.

The Rangers play in the Midwest Division of the Western Conference of the OHL and are based in Kitchener, Ontario. With a passionate fan base, the Rangers continue to be a powerhouse team in the OHL.

Gabriel Landeskog is a 30-year-old Swedish forward who has played for the Avalanche since 2013. 

He was drafted seventh overall by the Avs in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft and put up impressive numbers during his rookie season, scoring 36 goals and adding 59 points in 80 games.

His performance continued into his sophomore campaign, as he registered 41 goals and 73 points in 79 games - both of which were career highs. 

In 2014-15, Landeskog led Colorado to their first Stanley Cup championship since 1996 with 24 goals and 54 points in 78 games - earning him MVP honours along the way.

The Swede missed most of 2016 due to an ankle injury but bounced back with 22 goals and 47 points in 57 games last year; making him a potential contender for this year's Hart Trophy award (the NHL's Most Valuable Player). 

Gabriel Landeskog is married to former Miss Universe Lucia Ardenas whom he met while they were students at Lund University together; they have one child together named Maxime born in 2017.

Paul Reinhart is a Canadian chef who has won many awards for his cooking. He started working in kitchens at the young age of 16 and has since worked in some of the most prestigious restaurants in Canada and abroad.

In 2002, Paul became head chef at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Vancouver, where he helmed the kitchen for six years. Since leaving Vancouver, Paul has opened his own restaurant called La Belle Patate which specializes in Quebecois cuisine.

In addition to being a successful restaurateur, Paul is also an author and television personality; he has appeared on numerous episodes of "Chef's Table" (a Netflix series) and contributed recipes to several cookbooks throughout his career as a professional chef.

Paul currently resides near Ottawa with his wife Lori and their two children Albert and Sophie.

Jeff Skinner is a 30-year-old left wing who was drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes in the first round, 17th overall, of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. 

He has played for both the Halifax Mooseheads and Toronto Marlies of the QMJHL before joining Carolina as a full-time player in 2013.

Skinner led all rookies with 28 goals and 57 points in 64 games during his rookie season with Carolina; he also added 10 assists for 70 points total on the year. 

In 2014–15, Skinner finished second among NHL scorers behind Sidney Crosby with 106 points (37 goals, 63 assists) in 78 games played; he also registered career highs with 24 powerplay goals and 11 game-winning goals that season.

The following season—2015–16—Skinner again dominated offensively posting 128 points (50 goals, 74 assists), leading all players in scoring once more while establishing himself as one of hockey's most reliable offensive weapons over an extended period of time.

Injuries limited him to only 73 regular season games during 2017–18 but still managed to contribute 42 points (17g/27a) along with seven game-winning tallies en route to earning his fourth consecutive nomination for both Hart Memorial Trophy and Art Ross Trophy award winners.

4. John Gibson

John Gibson is a 29-year old goalie who plays for the Anaheim Ducks. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2012 and has since been traded to the Anaheim Ducks.

Gibson has had some success with the Ducks, posting a 46-27-8 record in his five seasons there. However, he's best known for making numerous huge saves during their run to the Stanley Cup Finals in 2016.

Injuries have slowed him down recently and he'll need to continue producing if he wants to remain a starter in the NHL; however, if healthy, Gibson can be one of the top goalies around. John Gibson was drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in the 39th overall pick of the 2011 NHL Draft.

He has since played for them continuously, appearing in over 650 games and posting a respectable 103 goals against average (GAA) and 2 shutouts. In 2013, he won his first Stanley Cup with Anaheim as they defeated Chicago Blackhawks in six games. 

Currently, Gibson is one of the best goaltenders in both North America and Europe, boasting an astounding record of 116-28-5 with a GAA of 2.12 and a save percentage (of .927).

Gibson also represented Team USA at two Winter Olympics - Sochi 2014 and PyeongChang 2018 - where he placed fourth on team standings with a 1-1 record including two saves during overtime to help bring a home the Bronze medal for the United States Men's Hockey Team.

5. Paul Coffey

Coffey played in the NHL for over 20 years, and was a two-time Norris Trophy winner as the league's best defenceman. Coffey is one of just four players to win both an Art Ross Trophy (as leading scorer) and a Stanley Cup (with Edmonton).

Coffey was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2004, and has been honoured with numerous other awards and distinctions throughout his career. 

After retiring from playing hockey, Coffey worked as a color commentator for Edmonton Oilers games on television before becoming head coach of the Penguins' affiliate team, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, in 2010.

In November 2017 he was named assistant coach for Team Canada at the World Championships in Denmark after being appointed by Hockey Canada president Tom Renney. 

Paul Coffey is best known for being a two-time Stanley Cup champion with the Chicago Blackhawks, as well as a member of Team Canada that won the 1991 Canada Cup and 1987 World Championship. 

Coffey played in 1,265 NHL games over his career and was an All-Star nine times.

After retiring from hockey in 2001, Coffey became involved in coaching where he has served as head coach at Edmonton's Oilers Juniors program since 2007. Paul Coffey was born on February 5th, 1959 in Windsor, Ontario to parents Roy and Phyllis Coffey.

Tobias Rieder is a German professional footballer who plays as a winger for RB Leipzig. 

After impressing in the youth ranks at TSV 1860 Munich, Rieder made his senior debut with Bayern Munich II in 2013.

He spent time on loan at Dynamo Dresden and SC Paderborn 07 before joining RB Leipzig in 2017. In Germany's World Cup campaign, he featured prominently as they reached the semi-finals where they lost to France.

Outside of football, Tobias is majoring in business management at university and has also played cricket for Bavaria Cricket Club since age 13 years old. 

A hard working player who never gives up on a challenge, Tobias will be looking to continue his impressive form with RB Leipzig this season Tobias Rieder was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2011 NHL Draft.

He has played for Växjö Lakers, Arizona Coyotes, Los Angeles Kings, Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames in his career so far. Tobias Rieder is a defenceman and he is currently playing with the Buffalo Sabres in the NHL.

Radek Faksa is a Czech-born forward who played for the Plymouth Whalers of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) before being drafted by Dallas in the second round, 50th overall, of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

After playing two seasons at Texas A&M University, Faksa made his professional debut with Dallas in 2015–16 and recorded 14 goals and 23 assists for 37 points in 80 games. 

In 2016–17 he registered 21 goals and 26 assists for 47 points in 73 games as Dallas won their first Stanley Cup championship since 1999.

In 2017–18, Faksa improved to 30 goals and 48 assists for 79 points in 82 games as Dallas repeated as champions. 

He was named an alternate captain prior to the 2018 playoffs but did not appear in any postseason contests due to injury; however, he helped lead Dallas back to the cup finals where they lost to Pittsburgh Penguins 4-1.

As a restricted free agent following his fifth season withDallasin 2019–20he signed a six-year contract extension worth an estimated $36 million on 11 July 2020.

8. Steven Rice

A right winger, Steven Rice was drafted in the 6th round of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft by the Hartford Whalers. 

After playing for the Whalers, Rice moved on to play for the Carolina Hurricanes, Columbus Blue Jackets, Los Angeles Kings and Phoenix Coyotes.

Rice retired in 2007 after playing in 906 NHL games. Rice has two children and currently resides in Kitchener, Ontario. Rice was inducted into the Kitchener-Waterloo Regional History Museum's Hall of Fame in 2009. Rice currently works as a hockey broadcaster for TSN.

Rice was awarded the Lester B. Pearson Award in 2010. Rice was inducted into the Canadian Hockey Hall of Fame in 2013. 

Rice currently serves as an assistant coach for the Kitchener Rangers of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). Rice was a prolific scorer in the NHL, racking up over 1,000 points in his career.

He was drafted by the New York Rangers in 1989 and played with them until 2002. He then went to the Edmonton Oilers and Hartford Whalers before joining the Carolina Hurricanes in 2007. 

Rice retired after playing with the Hurricanes in 2008. He has since been involved in coaching and scouting. Rice is a two-time Stanley Cup champion, having won with the Rangers in 1994 and Edmonton in 1997.

He has also been named an all-star and was named the most valuable player in the playoffs in 1996. Rice is currently a scout for the Rangers. Rice is a well-respected player in the hockey world and is respected for his skills on the ice.

Arber Xhekaj is a 22-year-old Canadian basketball player who plays for the Olympiacos Piraeus of the Greek Basket League. He was born in Hamilton, Ontario, and attended McMaster University.

He was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2018 NBA Draft, but he was waived before playing a game for them. He then signed with the Olympiacos Piraeus. He has a brother, Arian Xhekaj, who is also a professional basketball player.

John Tucker is a retired professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League for the Pittsburgh Penguins and Detroit Red Wings. Tucker was born in Windsor, Ontario, in 1964.

Tucker played junior hockey for the Windsor Spitfires before being drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the second round of the 1982 NHL Entry Draft. Tucker made his NHL debut with Pittsburgh in 1985 and eventually became a Stanley Cup champion with the Penguins in 1991.

Tucker was traded to the Detroit Red Wings in 1995 and spent the remainder of his NHL career with the team. Tucker retired from playing hockey in 2002. 

Tucker has since served as a color commentator for Penguins games on ROOT Sports Pittsburgh. Tucker was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2006.

Shawn Burr was born in 1966 in Sarnia, Ontario. Burr started his career as a model and actor, appearing in commercials and dramas. In 1998, he made his feature film debut in "The Cell".

He was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in "The Ice Storm". Burr appeared in "The Hangover" and "The Cabin in the Woods". He died from a heart attack in 2013 at the age of 47.

Burr was married to actress Elisabeth Shue. He is survived by his wife and two children. Shawn Burr was drafted 7th overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 1984 NHL Draft. Burr played his entire career with the Red Wings, Tampa Bay Lightning, and San Jose Sharks.

He was a two-time Stanley Cup champion with Detroit in 1997 and 1998. Burr was a key player on the Canada team that won the gold medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics. 

Burr retired from professional hockey in 2000. He has since become a television commentator and color commentator for NHL games.

Burr is currently the color commentator for the Detroit Red Wings' AHL affiliate, the Grand Rapids Griffins. 

Burr is also a co-owner of a restaurant in downtown Detroit. Burr is a respected member of the hockey community and is highly regarded for his knowledge and expertise on the game.

Benoit is a defenceman who played for Tappara in the Finnish Liiga. Benoit was drafted in the 7th round, 210th overall by the Ottawa Senators in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

Benoit has represented his country at the World Championships, the World Junior Championships, and the Olympics. Benoit signed with the Flyers as a free agent on July 1, 2017.

Connor Bunnaman is a 24-year-old Canadian centerman who was drafted by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the fourth round of the 2016 NHL Draft. Bunnaman has spent the past two seasons with Guelph of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).

During that time, he has compiled 71 points (31 goals and 42 assists) in 102 games. Bunnaman was a member of Team Canada at the World Juniors in 2017.

Shayne Stevenson is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is currently playing for HC Davos of the National League A (NLA). Stevenson was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the second round, 49th overall, of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft.

He played parts of four seasons with the Canadiens before being traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning in 1995. Stevenson spent the next six seasons with the Lightning, amassing 139 points in 214 games. 

He was traded to the Nashville Predators in 2003, and played two seasons with them before being traded to the Colorado Avalanche in 2005.

David Latta is a retired professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in the eighth round of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft.

Latta played his entire NHL career with the Jets, amassing 419 points (171 goals, 258 assists) in 703 games. He also played for the Philadelphia Flyers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Nashville Predators.

Latta was a member of the Canada men's national ice hockey team, which won a silver medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics. Latta retired from hockey in 2003, and later became a hockey commentator for TSN.

David Bruce is a left wing player who has played in the NHL for 16 seasons. He was drafted in the 8th round by the St. Louis Blues in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft.

Petr Kanko was born in 1984 in Příbram, Czechoslovakia. Kanko played hockey in his hometown of Příbram before moving to the Czech Republic to play for HC Plzeň.

Kanko signed with the Manchester Monarchs of the AHL in 2006. Kanko made his NHL debut with the Kings in 2007. In 2010, Kanko was traded to the Ottawa Senators. Kanko signed with the Carolina Hurricanes in 2014.

Kanko retired from professional hockey in 2016. Kanko has represented the Czech Republic at the Olympics and the World Championships.

Jeff Larmer is a retired Canadian ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Hartford Whalers, Philadelphia Flyers, and Calgary Flames.

Larmer was drafted by the Hartford Whalers in the second round, 34th overall, of the 1982 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut with the Whalers in the 1983–84 season.

Larmer was traded to the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1988–89 season. He played for the Flyers until the 1996–97 season. Larmer was traded to the Calgary Flames in the 1996–97 season.

Serge Payer was born on May 7, 1979 in Rockland, Ontario, Canada. Payer played in the NHL for the Houston Aeros from 2007 to 2009. Payer played for the Phoenix Coyotes from 2010 to 2011.

Chris LiPuma was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1971. He played college soccer at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a two-time All-American.

He was drafted by the Colorado Rapids in the first round of the 1995 MLS SuperDraft. He played for the Rapids for six seasons before moving to the Chicago Fire in 2001.

He spent two seasons with the Fire before signing with the Columbus Crew in 2004. He retired from professional soccer in 2006. He has since worked as a soccer commentator for Fox Sports Ohio and ESPN.
