Mike Modano is a five-time Stanley Cup champion and two-time Hart Memorial Trophy winner as the most valuable player in the NHL. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2014, his first year of eligibility.

After playing for Minnesota North Stars, Dallas Stars and Nashville Predators, he retired after the 2013–14 season at age 41 with 590 goals and 1,459 assists in 1,992 games played. 

Named to USA's Olympic Team for 1998 Winter Olympics but did not play due to injury; won a silver medal on home soil four years later at 2002 Winter Olympics Married to former Miss Texas Jennie Finch since 2003.

They have three children: daughters Makenna (born 2006) and Nolan (born 2009), son Taden (born 2012).

Following retirement from hockey Modano became an analyst for Fox Sports Southwest before joining ESPN as a studio host across multiple platforms including E:60 which debuted on January 17th, 2019 Mike Modano was drafted first overall by the Detroit Red Wings in 1988. 

He played for the Minnesota North Stars until 2011 when he retired. Mike Modano is a three-time Olympian and winner of two Stanley Cups with the Dallas Stars (1999, 2001). In 1999, he became only the second player in NHL history to score 100 goals and win 50 assists in a season.

Mike Modano has been an advocate for mental health awareness since his retirement from professional hockey; through his foundation, MODAO Hockey House, which provides housing and support services to veterans and military families suffering from PTSD or other issues related to service-related trauma.

2. Roope Hintz

He made his NHL debut on January 5th, 2018 against Arizona and scored his first career goal later that night. On March 1st, 2019 he recorded an assist against Edmonton to help secure a 3-1 victory for Dallas; this would be his 100th career point as a Star player.

In 2020, Hintz was named team captain of Team Finland at the World Championship tournament held in France.

He helped lead Finland to its 6th consecutive championship title despite being injured during game 4 of their semi-final matchup against Sweden which ended their chance at winning gold medal outright due to tiebreakers.

Ed Belfour is a goaltender who played for the Chicago Blackhawks, San Jose Sharks, and Dallas Stars. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2011.

Belfour was born in Carman, Manitoba but grew up playing hockey in Edmonton. After being drafted by Chicago in 1987 he went on to play over 1000 games with them before moving on to other teams including San Jose and Dallas where he finished his career after playing two seasons with Russia's CSKA Moscow franchise.

Ed has also been involved with charity work throughout his career which includes working with cancer awareness organizations as well as providing support for children affected by autism spectrum disorder (ASD). 

In 2013 Belfour became an ambassador for Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities which supports underprivileged youth across Canada through sport programs and scholarships.

Joe Nieuwendyk was born in Oshawa, Ontario and played for the Calgary Flames, Dallas Stars and New Jersey Devils. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2011.

Joe Nieuwendyk is one of only two players to score over 1,000 goals and capture a Stanley Cup championship (the other being Wayne Gretzky). 

Nicknamed "The Jet" due to his speed on the ice, he holds numerous NHL records including most career assists (1,834) and most points (2,887).

Injuries forced him to retire at age 36 after playing just 416 games over 10 seasons - an average of less than 60 per year. Joe Nieuwendyk was drafted by the Calgary Flames with the 27th overall pick in 1985. He played for Calgary, Florida and Dallas before retiring in 2006. 

Joe finished his playing career with a record of 611 goals and 1,040 assists for 1,651 points in 953 games.

In 2002 he won the Stanley Cup with the Dallas Stars after scoring 16 goals during the playoffs including 5 game-winning goals. Joe is currently an executive vice president of hockey operations for the Toronto Maple Leafs organization.

Hull was a prolific scorer in the NHL, amassing over 600 goals and 1,500 assists during his career. Hull played for Calgary Flames, St. Louis Blues, Dallas Stars and Detroit Red Wings before being inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009.

Hull's most famous accomplishment may be leading the Calgary Flames to their first Stanley Cup championship in 1989. After retiring from professional hockey, Hull founded The Brett Hull Foundation which helps underprivileged children across North America.

The Alberta native is married to Tanya and they have two daughters together – Kaitlyn and Breanna – who both play hockey themselves. Hull was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the 1984 NHL Draft. 

He played for the Coyotes from 1986 to 2005 and won a Stanley Cup with them in 1996.

Hull also represented his country at several Olympic games, winning a silver medal in 2002 Salt Lake City and gold medals in 1998 and 2010. Hull played on teams that competed at both the World Cup of Hockey (1996) and Canada Cup (1991). 

Brett Hull is one of only four players to score over 1,000 goals in his NHL career, along with Wayne Gretzky, Gordie Howe, and Mario Lemieux; he retired with 1,374 goals scored.

Ryan Suter is a defenseman for the Minnesota Wild and has been in the NHL since 2005. He was drafted by the Nashville Predators in 2003 but never played with them as they traded him to the Minnesota Wild before he ever played a game.

In 2009, Suter signed an eight-year contract extension with Minnesota worth $60 million which made him one of the highest paid defensemen in hockey at that time. 

He won two Stanley Cups with the Pittsburgh Penguins (2011, 2016) and also helped Denmark win gold at the 2018 Winter Olympics where he scored Sweden's only goal in their semifinal loss.

Ryan Suter will turn 38 on January 21st 2020 and has said that if he can play another four or five years then it would be perfect but admitted that his body might not allow him to do so anymore.

Ryan Suter is a talented defenseman who has played in the NHL for 10 seasons. He was drafted by the Nashville Predators in 2003 and has been with them ever since.

In his career, he has won two Stanley Cups with the Predators and also appeared in several other championship games. 

He is known as one of the best defensemen in the league and is often compared to teammate Shea Weber because of their dominant play on the ice together.

John Klingberg is a defenceman for the Dallas Stars. He was drafted by the Stars in the first round, 27th overall, of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. 

Injuries have slowed him down at times during his career, but he has been one of the team's most consistent players over the past few seasons.

Klingberg has represented Sweden at both junior and international levels and won a silver medal at World Juniors in 2014. He made his debut with Dallas in 2015-16 and finished fourth on the team in scoring that season with 38 points (12 goals, 26 assists). 

In 2017-18, he led all-Stars defencemen with 73 points (21 goals, 52 assists) en route to being named to Team Sweden for Euro Hockey Championships where they reached their third final-ever finish – losing 2-1 against Finland John Klingberg was drafted by the Dallas Stars in 2010.

He has played for Frölunda HC, Jokerit, Skellefteå AIK and Anaheim Ducks since then. John has represented Sweden at the junior level and made his international debut in 2012. He is a strong defensive defenseman with good skating ability and a quick shot from the point. 

His consistent performances have seen him rise up the ranks of the NHL over the past few seasons, and he is now one of its most promising defenders.

Colin Miller is a defenceman for the Vegas Golden Knights. He was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada on October 29th 1992 and he currently weighs 196 lb (89 kg).

Colin played junior hockey with the Kitchener Rangers of the OHL before being drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in 2012 at age 19th overall in the NHL Entry Draft. 

After playing two seasons with Anaheim, Miller was traded to Columbus where he spent three years as a key player on their Blue Jackets squad who made it to the playoffs twice during that time period before signing with Vegas as an unrestricted free agent ahead of their inaugural season in 2018-19.

In his first year with Vegas, Miller put up 14 points (6 goals and 8 assists) en route to earning Team MVP honours while helping lead them to their first ever Stanley Cup championship victory over Chicago Blackhawks in Game 6 of The Finals.

Langenbrunner is a right wing who has played for Dallas Stars, New Jersey Devils and Minnesota Wild. He was drafted in the first round (20th overall) of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft by the Dallas Stars.

Langenbrunner had his best season with the Devils in 2008–09 where he recorded 38 goals and 74 points in 80 games. Injuries have limited him to just 63 games over the past two seasons, but he still managed to score 10 goals and 24 points during that time period.

Langenbrunner is known for his hardworking style on and off the ice, as well as his scoring touch from distance which makes him a threat everytime he takes to the ice Langenbrunner played for the Dallas Stars from 1995 to 2013. 

He was a two-time Olympian and won a gold medal in Vancouver in 2010.

Langenbrunner is considered one of the best defensemen in NHL history, with over 1,000 points on his resume. Jamie passed away at the age of 43 after suffering a heart attack while playing golf in Arizona.

Alexander Radulov is a Russian professional ice hockey player who currently plays for CSKA Moscow in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Radulov was drafted by Nashville Predators in first round, seventh overall of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.

He signed with Dallas Stars as a free agent on July 1, 2012 and played with them until he was traded to Montreal Canadiens on February 29, 2016. 

In his four seasons with Dallas, Radulov recorded 136 points (44 goals and 88 assists) while being voted an All-Star twice and leading team in scoring three times consecutively from 2013 to 2015.

On February 29th 2016, Radulov was traded to Montreal Canadiens where he has spent majority of his career since joining the club as a free agent in 2012-13 season after leaving Dallas Stars following their Cup run that year.

He scored 26 goals and 50 assists for 76 points total over 186 games played during 4 years with Habs before signing 2 year deal worth $10 million per season with SKA St Petersburg on May 15th 2020.

Alexander Radulov represented Russia at numerous tournaments such as World Championships (2007), Olympics (2010) and IIHF World Championship(2015). 

He also won gold medal at 2011 IIHF World Junior Championship playing alongside current Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner. 

Alexander Radulov is married to Anastasia Karolina Yurievna Sokolova who he met while both were students at Nizhny Tagil Sports School. They have one son together named Aleksander Antonovich Sokoloskiy born August 2018.

Jason Spezza is a veteran centre who has played in the NHL for over 18 years. 

He was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the first round of the 2000 NHL Draft and has since played for Toronto, Dallas, Pittsburgh and finally Toronto again this season.

Jason Spezza is well known for his ability to score goals and he has scored over 500 career goals which makes him one of the most prolific goal-scorers in league history. 

In addition to scoring goals, Jason Spezza also plays an important role on his teams as he is often relied upon to provide leadership and guidance to younger players on the roster.

He will be 39 years old at the end of this season which means that he may be considering retirement but if he does decide to continue playing then there are no doubts about his status as one of the greatest centres in NHL history.

Neal Broten played for the Minnesota North Stars from 1984-1990. After retiring as a player, Neal became head coach of the University of Wisconsin Badgers in 1998 and held that position until 2006.

He was named assistant general manager of the Dallas Stars on July 4, 2009 and held that position until he resigned effective February 15, 2013. 

On November 18th 2014 Neal was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame with his former teammate Brett Hull Neal Broten is a former NHL player who spent his entire career playing for the Minnesota North Stars.

Neal Broten was drafted by the North Stars in 1979 and played there until 1997 when he was traded to the Dallas Stars. Neal Broten won two Stanley Cups with the Minnesota North Stars, in 1991 and 1993. He also won a Gold Medal with Team USA at the 1994 Winter Olympics. 

After retirement from hockey, Neal Broten became an assistant coach with the Dallas Stars before becoming head coach of their AHL affiliate, Texas Starz, in 2013-14 season.

Dave Gagner played for the New York Rangers, Minnesota North Stars and Columbus Blue Jackets in his NHL career. 

Dave was drafted by the Rangers in the third round of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft and made his professional debut with their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate Hartford Wolf Pack that same year.

He scored his first NHL goal against Dominik Hasek on October 10, 1986, helping lead New York to a 5-4 victory over Detroit. Averaging 18 goals and 37 points per season from 1987 until 1991, Gagner emerged as one of the top young forwards in hockey during this time period. 

In 1992 he signed as a free agent with Minnesota where he would spend six seasons before being traded to Columbus at the trade deadline of 2003-2004 campaign..

After scoring 107 goals for Columbus over two stints (2005-2007; 2010-2014), Gagner retired from playing professional hockey following the 2014–15 season. 

In total, Dave recorded 486 points (235G+273A) in 863 regular season games played across all three leagues - AHL/NHL/ECHL - amassing an overall record of .290/.374/.540.

Derian Hatcher was a defenseman for the Philadelphia Flyers from 1995 to 2007. He was drafted by the Hartford Whalers in the third round of the 1991 NHL Entry Draft, and then traded to Philadelphia before playing his first game with them.

Hatcher is considered one of the best defensive defensemen in NHL history, and won three Stanley Cup championships with Philadelphia (2000-02, 2006-07). 

In 2008 he signed as a free agent with Calgary Flames but spent only two seasons there before retiring at age 36 due to injury.

Hatcher has also played for Anaheim Ducks, Columbus Blue Jackets and Carolina Hurricanes during his career Derian Hatcher was drafted by the Minnesota North Stars in 1990 and played his entire NHL career with them. 

He scored over 300 goals during his time in the league and won a Stanley Cup with Dallas in 1999.

Hatcher also represented Team USA at several international tournaments, including the 2002 Winter Olympics. He retired after playing for Philadelphia in 2008. 

Derian Hatcher is currently an analyst for Fox Sports Southwest and serves as an ambassador for Special Olympics Texas.

Tyler Seguin is a talented and dynamic centre who has quickly become one of the top players in the NHL. After being drafted by the Dallas Stars in 2010, Seguin spent two seasons with their USHL affiliate before making his professional debut with the team in 2012-13.

In 2014-15, he led all NHL centres with 54 goals and finished second overall in points behind only Alex Ovechkin. 

The following season (2015-16), Seguin helped lead Dallas to their first Stanley Cup championship since 1999 and became just the sixth player ever to win both the Art Ross Trophy as leading scorer and MVP honours during the same season.

He was selected to represent Canada at both the 2016 World Championship and 2017 World Cup of Hockey, where he helped Canada reach consecutive final appearances for only the third time in history –winning gold at both tournaments respectively. 

At age 26 years old, Seguin will enter into an arbitration process with Dallas which could result in him becoming a restricted free agent after this upcoming season or signing an extension prior to that happening.

After playing two seasons at Texas A&M University, Faksa made his professional debut with Dallas in 2015–16 and recorded 14 goals and 23 assists for 37 points in 80 games. 

In 2016–17 he registered 21 goals and 26 assists for 47 points in 73 games as Dallas won their first Stanley Cup championship since 1999.

In 2017–18, Faksa improved to 30 goals and 48 assists for 79 points in 82 games as Dallas repeated as champions. 

He was named an alternate captain prior to the 2018 playoffs but did not appear in any postseason contests due to injury; however, he helped lead Dallas back to the cup finals where they lost to Pittsburgh Penguins 4-1.

As a restricted free agent following his fifth season withDallasin 2019–20he signed a six-year contract extension worth an estimated $36 million on 11 July 2020.

Guy Carbonneau was a rugged centre who played for the Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues, and Dallas Stars in the NHL. He was drafted 44th overall in the 1979 NHL Draft and was a mainstay on the teams he played for.

Carbonneau was known for his gritty play and was a key part of many successful hockey teams. Carbonneau retired in 2000 after playing 18 seasons in the NHL. He is now a commentator for the Canadiens and is an ambassador for the sport.

Studenič has announced that he will be leaving Kladno to join the NHL team, the Philadelphia Flyers, in the upcoming 2019-2020 season. 

Marián Studenič was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the 2017 NHL Draft. Studenič played his junior hockey in Slovakia with HK 36 Skalica and HK Dukla Trenčín.

He made his professional debut with the Texas Stars (AHL) in the 2015–16 season. In the 2017–18 season, Studenič played for the HC Slovan Bratislava in the Slovak Extraliga.
