2012 Nhl Entry Draft Best Players of All Time

Brandon McNally

The 2012 NHL Entry Draft was a landmark event in the history of hockey. Held on June 22-23 at Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, it marked the 50th edition of this annual league ritual and provided an opportunity for future stars to make their mark on professional hockey. The top three picks were Nail Yakupov going to the Edmonton Oilers, Ryan Murray to the Columbus Blue Jackets and Alex Galchenyuk chosen by Montreal Canadiens – all surefire superstars who have since made waves throughout their young careers. But beyond those first few names there lay incredible talent from around North America ready to prove themselves as well as players from Europe looking for a chance to bring their skills stateside. With such promise surrounding this draft class it’s no wonder that expectations ran high amongst teams seeking greatness; hopes which ultimately paid off with many successful draftees coming out of Pittsburgh that year – some still playing today.

Girgensons is known for being an excellent skater, possessing great speed both forwards and backwards. This ability to get up and down the ice quickly can be very dangerous for opposing teams.

His offensive skills are also not to be underestimated; he is capable of putting up points at a high rate even if he isn't necessarily involved in the offence from start to finish.

One potential downside to Girgensons' game could be that he tends to gamble too much on plays instead of making simple, smart decisions - this may lead him into trouble more often than not against better opponents.

Despite this flaw, Girgensons still possesses all the requisite qualities needed for success at any level; he just needs to learn how best use them given his circumstances.- In short, Zemgus Girgensons is a talented player who should continue developing at whatever team he ends up playing for next season or beyond.
