The Hamilton Bulldogs are a major junior ice hockey team that is part of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). Founded in 2015, the Bulldogs are based out of Hamilton, Ontario and play their home games at FirstOntario Centre.

Owned by Michael Andlauer, the Bulldogs relocated to Hamilton after spending 34 years as the Belleville Bulls. With a passionate fan base and an exciting style of play, the Hamilton Bulldogs are an exciting addition to the OHL.

Mason McTavish is a Swiss-born forward who played for the Hamilton Bulldogs in the NHL. 

Mason was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers with their seventh overall pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, but he never made it to North America and instead opted to play for his hometown team, the Bulldogs.

Mason had an impressive rookie season with Hamilton, scoring 21 goals and 43 points in 73 games before being signed by Edmonton as a free agent at the end of 2017-18. 

In 2018-19, Mason struggled defensively but still managed 16 goals and 36 points in 71 games - good enough for fourth on Hamilton's scoring list behind Dylan Strome, Mitch Marner and Tyler Bozak - earning him another contract from Edmonton worth $650K over three years.

Andreas Karlsson is a 47-year-old centre who has played in the NHL for 19 seasons. He has also played in the KHL, AHL, and IHL. Karlsson was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the first round (5th overall) of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft.

He has won the Stanley Cup with Ottawa in 2007 and the Gold Medal with Sweden at the 2006 Winter Olympics. Karlsson has played in over 1,000 NHL games, scoring 465 goals and 940 points. He has also won two Gold Medals with Sweden at the World Championships.

Karlsson was traded to the Chicago Wolves in 2002 and spent six seasons with the team. He then signed with the Detroit Red Wings in 2009 and spent five seasons with the team. Karlsson was traded to the San Jose Sharks in December of 2017 and spent one season with the team.

He has announced his retirement from the NHL at the end of the 2018-19 season. Karlsson is a two-time Olympic Gold Medalist and three-time Stanley Cup champion. 

He is also a two-time Norris Trophy winner (the league's best defenceman) and a six-time All-Star. Andreas Karlsson was inducted into the Canadian Hockey Hall of Fame in 2016.
