The Toronto Marlies are an exciting professional ice hockey team that bring the thrill of the game to their passionate fans in Toronto.

As a part of the American Hockey League (AHL), the Marlies compete in the North Division of the Eastern Conference. Owned by Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment, the Marlies have become a top competitor in the AHL, winning several division titles and the 2018 Calder Cup.

Sam Carrick is a 30-year-old forward from Stouffville, Ontario. He spent four seasons with the Toronto Marlies of the AHL before making his NHL debut in 2013-14.

Carrick has appeared in 157 regular season games for Toronto and scored 31 goals and added 41 assists. In May 2017, he signed a one-year contract with the Ottawa Senators after being claimed off waivers from the Maple Leafs.

With Ottawa, Carrick has played 71 games scoring six goals and adding 11 assists to date as of October 2018 Sam Carrick was drafted 144th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2010 NHL Draft. 

He has played for the Anaheim Ducks and Toronto Maple Leafs since 2012, but is most well-known for his time with the Maple Leafs.

Sam Carrick is a strong two-way player who excels in defensive zone coverage and playing physically against opposing players. 

In 2018 he signed an extension with the Maple Leafs that will keep him with the team until 2024. Sam Carrick is a valuable part of both teams' organizations and looks to continue providing value on ice moving forward.

Zach Hyman is a versatile forward who has played in the NHL for six seasons. He was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2010 and made his debut with them that year.

Hyman has since established himself as one of the most consistent forwards on the team, averaging over 20 minutes of ice time per game during his career so far. In 2017, he signed a three-year contract extension with the Maple Leafs worth $9 million total dollars.

Hyman is married to fellow Canadian tennis player Sabrina Santoro and they have two children together - daughter Hazel (born 2016) and son Leo (born 2018). 

Outside of hockey, Zach enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf and hiking outdoors when he can find time away from training or games.

Zach Hyman is a left wing who shoots right. He was drafted 123rd overall by the Edmonton Oilers in 2010 and has since played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Florida Panthers, and most recently, the Columbus Blue Jackets. 

Zach Hyman started his career playing junior hockey with the Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds of the OHL before being traded to Toronto in exchange for Brett Lebda and a second-round pick in 2013.

Zach Hyman made his NHL debut with Toronto during the 2014–15 season and recorded two points (1 goal, 1 assist) over 19 games. 

In 2015–16, Zach Hyman scored 20 goals and added 26 assists for 46 points in 74 games as a rookie with Toronto; this led to him making Team Canada at the World Championships that year where he helped lead them to victory over Sweden in overtime on May 11th, 2016 en route to becoming tournament champions.

On July 1st of 2016, Zach Hyman signed an eight-year contract extension with Columbus worth $32 million dollars ($6 million per year). During his time there he won Stanley Cup 2018 against Vegas Golden Knights.

Zigomanis is a veteran of the NHL, having played in over 1000 games. Zigomanis has spent his entire career with the Toronto Maple Leafs organization, playing for them from 2000-2012.

Zigomanis was one of the most offensively gifted players on the team during his time there; he scored over 100 goals and 260 points in that span. 

After spending two seasons away from the NHL due to injury, Zigomanis signed with the Marlies as an unrestricted free agent in 2016 and has been performing well ever since.

He is known for his speed and ability to score goals both at even strength and on special teams – attributes which have helped him earn a reputation as one of Canada's top forwards at international competitions such as World Championships and Olympic Games. 

In recent years, Zigomanis has become more involved off ice - he founded a hockey school in 2013 which provides opportunities for underprivileged children to participate in organized hockey programs .

He also works closely with leukemia research foundations throughout North America raising money for pediatric cancer research initiatives.

Timothy Liljegren was born in Kristianstad, Sweden on April 30th 1999. He is a 6'0" 183 cm tall defenceman and has played with the Toronto Marlies of the AHL since 2016-2017.

Liljegren was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the 1st round (7th overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. As of March 2019 he had scored 2 goals and 11 assists for 13 points in 38 games with Toronto Marlies, ranking first among all rookie defensemen in scoring so far this season.

The Sens have an option to keep him under contract for another year at $4 million but it's not clear if they will do so yet or trade him before then as there are already plenty of blueliners ahead of him on Ottawa's depth chart including Erik Karlsson, Brady Tkachuk and Josh Norris who are all expected to be back from injury very soon).

Pierre Engvall was born on May 31st 1996 in Ljungby, Sweden. He is 6'4" tall and weighs 198 pounds. 

Pierre started playing hockey at the age of four, and quickly became a fan favorite for his explosiveness and scoring ability.

In 2018-19, he led all rookies in points with 54, and helped lead Toronto to the playoffs where they were eliminated by Boston Bruins in the first round.

Pierre as he enters into what could potentially be considered his sophomore season; so far this campaign he's registered 10 goals and 22 assists which places him fourth on team leader Andreas Johnsson's point tally behind only Mitch Marner (#1), James van Riemsdyk (#2) & Leo Komarov (#3).

Pierre has always been known as an incredibly fast skater who can easily shake off defenders before opening up shooting lanes or making quick cuts to elude defenders – both offensively AND defensively – something that often makes him difficult for opposing teams to contain both on offence AND defence simultaneously.

His combination of speed , agility , strength , shot accuracy/power along with game-winning plays make Pierre one of the most dangerous players in today’s game.

6. Justin Holl

Holl was drafted in the 3rd round, 71st overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. He made his professional debut with the Marlies in 2012-13 and has since played for them all but one season (2015-16 when he spent time with the AHL's Syracuse Crunch).

Holl has had a consistent career producing offensively despite playing on teams that have fluctuated wildly between being competitive or out of contention. In 2018-19, he set new highs in points (61) and assists (34) while playing on an improved team which finished 7th in their division.

Holl is known as a two way player who can play both forward positions well and is also very defensively responsible averaging 2:39 minutes per game over his career thus far. 

At 30 years old, Holl remains unsigned beyond this season with rumours circulating that he could be looking for more money than what is currently offered to him by any NHL club interested in signing him long term.

7. Joey Anderson

Anderson was drafted in the fifth round, 133rd overall by the Binghamton Devils in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. 

He played collegiate hockey with St Cloud State University where he won a national championship in his sophomore year and led them to their first Frozen Four appearance as a junior.

Anderson made his professional debut with the Devils AHL affiliate, the Albany Devils in 2017-2018 season before getting called up to play for New Jersey as an injury Replacement on February 25th, 2019 against Ottawa Senators. 

Anderson scored his first career NHL goal on March 9th, 2019 against Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky which would be enough to secure victory for NJ over Columbus 3-1 that night and earn him. 

Rookie of The Month honors for March alongside teammate Cory Schneider who had been awarded January's honor.

In total Joey has appeared in 36 games (20 starts) scoring 10 goals and 7 assists while averaging 14:27 minutes per game - good enough for ninth best rookie points average among all players who have played at least 20 games this season.

Seth Griffith has spent his entire professional career in the NHL with the Boston Bruins. He was drafted by the Bruins in 2010 and made his debut that season.

Griffith quickly became a fan favourite, scoring 50 goals and 150 points over four seasons with Boston before being traded to Nashville in 2015. 

Injuries limited him to just 47 games over two seasons with Nashville but he bounced back nicely after signing with Detroit for the 2017-18 campaign.

The Red Wings are currently without a contract for next season but expect him to be involved in negotiations as he is one of Detroit's top players. 

Seth Griffith was drafted by the Boston Bruins in 2012. Seth played for the Bakersfield Condors of the AHL before joining their NHL affiliate, the Providence Bruins in 2016.

Seth made his debut with Boston during the 2017–2018 season and has since remained with them through to present day. Seth is known for being a hard working player who will go to great lengths to win games or put points on the scoreboard for his team-mates. 

At just 23 years old, there's plenty of potential still left in Griffith's tank and he looks like he could be a long term fixture in either league he plays in - AHL or NHL.

Alex Steeves was born on December 10, 1999 in St. Paul, Minnesota. At 5'11" and 185 pounds, Alex is a forward who plays for the Golden Gophers men's basketball team.

Alex has been a part of the program since his freshman year and led them to their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance as a junior this past season. 

In addition to basketball, Alex also wrestles at Minnesota State Mankato and is majoring in sport management with an emphasis in sports marketing/branding at University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus.

Outside of school, Alex loves spending time with friends and family including going skiing or snowboarding during winter months or hitting up the pool during summertime. Alex Steeves is a right-handed shooter who currently plays for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the NHL.

 He has also played for the Toronto Marlies in the AHL. Alex was undrafted, but he has been able to make an impact on both leagues since being drafted.

Alex has scored 105 goals and 191 assists over his career thus far, which shows that he can score goals at a high level. Alex is known as a hard worker and competitor who will do whatever it takes to win hockey games or matches. 

Alex is only 21 years old, so there's plenty of room for him to improve further in his career - we look forward to watching him continue developing.

Joseph Blandisi is a Canadian centre who currently plays for the Pittsburgh Penguins. 2. He was drafted by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the second round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

Blandisi made his professional debut with Springfield Thunderbirds of the American Hockey League (AHL) in 2013-14 before joining Columbus for the 2014-15 season. 

Injuries limited him to just 44 games over two seasons, but he impressed enough to be signed as an unrestricted free agent by Pittsburgh in summer 2016.

While with Columbus, Blandisi helped lead them to their first ever appearance in The Stanley Cup Finals, where they lost to Washington Capitalsfour games to one 6.

Blandisi has played 63 career NHL games, scoring 16 goals and adding 21 assists Blandisi is a left-handed shooter who has spent time with the Toronto Marlies, New Jersey Devils, Anaheim Ducks and Pittsburgh Penguins in his playing career.

Blandisi was drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in 2012 but never played for them as he was traded to the New Jersey Devils shortly after being drafted. 

After spending two years with the Devils, Blandisi was traded to the Anaheim Ducks where he enjoyed some success before being dealt again to Pittsburgh in 2015. 

In total, Blandisi has played 162 NHL games and scored 16 goals and 25 assists during that time period.

Currently, Blandisi is a member of the Colorado Avalanche having joined them at the start of this season.

11. Michael Hutchinson

In total, Hutchinson has played 178 games in the NHL, posting a record of 47-27-9 with a 2.58 goals against average and .930 save percentage. 

On July 1st, 2017 Hutchinson signed as a free agent with the Vancouver Canucks and he made his Canucks debut on October 5th against Calgary.

On March 6th 2018 Hutchison was traded to the Colorado Avalanche for defenseman Nikita Zadorov and forward Jussi Jokinen Hutchinson played his first NHL game with the Boston Bruins in 2010. 

He has also played for the Winnipeg Jets, Florida Panthers, and Toronto Maple Leafs. Hutchinson is currently a Free Agent and playing in the AHL with the Henderson Silver Knights.

Hutchinson was drafted by Vegas Golden Knights 77th overall in 2008 but never signed with them and instead played for other teams until he joined the AHL with Henderson this season.

Moore was born in Thousand Oaks, California and started playing hockey at the age of 4. Moore played high school hockey in Southern California and was named captain of his team his senior year.

Moore played college hockey at the University of Denver and was a two-time NCAA champion. Moore was drafted by the New York Rangers in the second round of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. Moore made his NHL debut with the Rangers in the 2017-2018 season.

Moore spent the majority of the 2018-2019 season with the Rangers' AHL affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack. 

Moore was recalled by the Rangers on January 10, 2019 and made his NHL debut that night against the Philadelphia Flyers. Moore scored his first NHL goal on January 15, 2019 against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Moore was selected to the 2019 AHL All-Star Game as a representative of the Hartford Wolf Pack.

Mason Marchment is a 27-year-old Canadian right wing who played for the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League (AHL) in 2018. Marchment was drafted by the Maple Leafs in the second round, 53rd overall, of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

Marchment made his NHL debut with the Maple Leafs in 2017, recording an assist in a 3-2 victory over the Ottawa Senators. On February 15, 2018, Marchment was traded to the Toronto Marlies in exchange for Jake Gardiner. 

In 68 games played with the Marlies in 2018-19, Marchment recorded 26 points (10 goals and 16 assists) to go along with 71 penalty minutes.

Marchment has represented Canada at the World Junior Championships in 2015 and 2017, as well as the World Championships in 2018. Marchment is a two-time recipient of the AHL's Rookie of the Year award, earned in 2014 and 2016. 

Marchment is also a two-time recipient of the AHL's Most Improved Player award, earned in 2017 and 2018. Marchment is a restricted free agent heading into the 2019-20 season.

In the following season, Kapanen made the jump to the NHL with the Maple Leafs and recorded 23 points in 60 games. 

In the 2017-18 season, Kapanen recorded career highs in goals (21) and points (44) in 82 games with the Maple Leafs. Kapanen was traded to the Florida Panthers in the summer of 2018 and posted 18 points in 41 games.

In the 2019-20 season, Kapanen recorded 14 points in 41 games with the Panthers. On 30 October 2020, Kapanen was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs in a blockbuster deal that sent John Tavares to the New York Islanders.

Campbell is a 6'4", 193-pound center who has spent his entire professional career with the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League. Campbell has spent the past four seasons as the IceHogs' captain, leading his team to the playoffs each year.

He has also appeared in over 500 NHL games, recording 21 points (7 goals, 14 assists). Campbell was originally drafted by the Nashville Predators in the third round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. 

After playing four seasons with the Predators, Campbell was traded to the Anaheim Ducks in 2008.

He spent two seasons with the Ducks before being traded to the Philadelphia Flyers in 2011. Campbell played one season with the Flyers before being traded to the Chicago Blackhawks in 2013. 

Campbell then spent two seasons with the Blackhawks before joining the IceHogs in 2017. Campbell is a two-time AHL All-Star and is the franchise's all-time leader in goals (220), assists (416), and points (560).

Richard Clune is a forward for the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League. He was drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in the second round, 50th overall, of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.

He played college hockey at Michigan State University. Clune scored his first career NHL goal on October 14, 2007, against the Philadelphia Flyers. He was traded to the Ottawa Senators on February 26, 2017.

He was traded to the Toronto Marlies on February 28, 2017. He has played in 226 NHL games, scoring 21 goals and adding 31 assists. 

He was named to the AHL All-Rookie Team in 2008. He was named the AHL Player of the Month for October 2017.

Richard Clune was a left-wing for the Los Angeles Kings, Nashville Predators, and Toronto Maple Leafs in the NHL. He was drafted 71st overall in 2005 by the Dallas Stars. 

Clune retired from the NHL in 2022 after playing for 10 seasons. Clune has played in over 650 games in the NHL and has scored over 190 points.

Clune is a two-time Stanley Cup champion, with the Los Angeles Kings in 2012 and the Nashville Predators in 2017. Clune also won a Gold Medal with Canada at the World Championships in 2015. 

Clune was an important part of the Stars' Stanley Cup-winning teams in 2011 and 2016. Clune is a respected veteran player in the NHL and is known for his hard work and determination on the ice.

Clune is married to Catherine Clune and they have two children. Clune is a dedicated family man and enjoys spending time with his wife and children.

Hoefenmayer was traded to the Edmonton Oilers on February 26, 2019 in exchange for a 2020 fifth-round draft pick.

Hoefenmayer was named the Oilers' captain on March 10, 2019. Hoefenmayer is a two-time AHL All-Star and was named the league's MVP in the 2018–19 season. Hoefenmayer is a member of the Canadian national team.

Greg Scott is a centre for the Calgary Flames. He was drafted in the first round, 22nd overall, in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the Flames. Scott has represented Canada in international play, most notably at the World Junior Championships.

In the 2011-12 season, Scott scored his first NHL goal against the Edmonton Oilers. He has also appeared in five playoff games for the Flames, recording one assist. In the 2013-14 season, Scott was named an alternate captain for the Flames.

In the 2014-15 season, Scott had a career year, scoring 31 goals and recording 54 assists. He was named to the NHL First All-Star Team and won the Hart Memorial Trophy as the league's most valuable player. In the 2017-18 season, Scott was traded to the Florida Panthers.

Greg Scott was drafted in the NHL Draft but was undrafted. Scott played for Brynäs IF, Toronto Marlies, and CSKA Moscow before joining the NHL. 

Scott has played for the Columbus Blue Jackets, Anaheim Ducks, Nashville Predators, and New Jersey Devils. Scott has appeared in over 350 NHL games and has scored over 50 goals.

Scott is a two-time Stanley Cup champion with the Nashville Predators in 2017 and 2018. Scott has represented Sweden in international play. Scott is a speedy and hard-working player who is known for his goal-scoring abilities. 

Scott is a key member of the New Jersey Devils and is expected to be part of their future. Scott is a versatile player who can play both center and wing.

Oleksy is a defenseman who has played in the NHL for the Penguins and Coyotes. He was drafted by the Coyotes in the sixth round of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
