Aiden McGeady is a Scottish footballer who currently plays for Hibernian. He began his career at Busby Boys Club before joining Celtic in 2000. 

He then moved to Premier League side Everton, where he made over 100 appearances between 2004 and 2007, before moving to Hibs in 2008.

He has since won two Scottish Premiership titles with Hibs and represented the Republic of Ireland internationally on many occasions, including at the 2014 World Cup finals in Brazil. 

McGeady has also been capped by Scotland at U21 level and played for them at UEFA Euro 2012 qualifying campaign which ended in disappointment due to group stage exit from competition.

Humphrey was born in Jamaica in 1987 and moved to England when he was a child. He started his career at Walsall before moving to West Bromwich Albion in 2006.

Humphrey spent two seasons with Shrewsbury Town before moving to Stafford Rangers on a loan in 2007. Humphrey joined Garstang FC in 2016 and has been a regular starter for the club.

Humphrey has had a successful playing career, scoring 132 goals in 8 seasons for Motherwell. He moved to Preston North End in 2013, and helped them win the League Cup in 2016. He then joined Hibs in 2017, but was loaned out to Bury in 2018.

He rejoined Hibs in 2018, and has since been a regular in the side. Humphrey has also represented Jamaica internationally, playing 12 times. He is currently manager of Gretna 2008.

Jack King is a former English defender and midfielder who is currently playing for Preston North End in the English Premier League. King made his professional debut with Oxford United in 1998, and went on to play for Swansea City and Preston North End in the English Premier League.

King has also played for the England national team, and was part of the team that reached the semi-finals of the 2010 World Cup.

Scott Laird is a left-back/midfielder who has played for Plymouth Argyle and Weston-super-Mare. Laird was born in England in 1988. He started his career at Plymouth Argyle in 2006.

Neil Mellor is a former English professional footballer who played as a striker. Mellor started his career with Sheffield United, before moving to Preston North End in 2008.

Mellor was named the League One Player of the Year in 2011, and helped Preston reach the play-offs that season. Mellor left Preston in 2013, and signed for League Two side Southend United.

Final Words

The Preston North End Football Club is one of the oldest clubs in the English football league system, which was founded in 1875. The club has played in the top division of English football since 1888, and has won the FA Cup twice, in 1892 and 1893.
