The Manchester Monarchs were a professional ice hockey team that brought excitement and energy to the city of Manchester, New Hampshire. Founded in 2015, the Monarchs were a member of the ECHL and an affiliate of the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings. The team played their home games at the SNHU Arena and quickly became a fan favorite in the city.

During their five years in Manchester, the Monarchs made a name for themselves with their hard-working, tenacious style of hockey. From the passionate fan base to the exciting on-ice product, the Monarchs provided a great atmosphere for the city and its people.

Derek Forbort is a defenseman who played for the Manchester Monarchs in 2013. He was drafted by the San Jose Sharks in the second round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.

Derek has also played for the Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings, winning a Stanley Cup with Anaheim in 2007. In 2016-17, he won his first Norris Trophy as best defensive player in hockey.

On July 1, 2018, it was announced that Forbort had signed an eight-year contract extension with the Kings worth $47 million ($8 million annually). Derek is married to model Jessica Hartzell and they have two children together - daughter Harper (born March 2017) and son Brayden (born October 2018).

Derek Forbort shoots left and played for the Boston Bruins, Los Angeles Kings, Calgary Flames and Winnipeg Jets in the NHL. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings 15th overall in 2010. 

Derek Forbort has been playing professionally since 2013-14 season with stints with each of his previous teams except for Calgary which he joined midway through the 2014-15 season.

Derek Forbort is a puck-moving defenseman who can quarterback a power play from the blue line or provide crucial depth on defense when needed. 

His offensive game has developed significantly over time as he currently leads all rookie defenders in scoring with 16 points (7 goals, 9 assists) in 51 games this season despite averaging just 21:54 minutes per game played thus far in his career.

Martin Jones is a goaltender for the San Jose Sharks. He was drafted by the Boston Bruins in the first round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft and made his debut with them in 2008-09.

After spending four seasons with Boston, he was traded to the Sharks as part of a six player deal on December 11th, 2013. 

In 2016-17 he became just the fourth goalie in league history to record at least 30 wins and 10 shutouts in a season (joining Martin Brodeur, Patrick Roy, and Ed Belfour).

He has won two Stanley Cups with the Sharks (2014 & 2017) and led all goalies during both championships runs in goals against average (.933). Martin Jones has been a goalie in the NHL for six seasons and is coming off his third season with the San Jose Sharks. 

In 2016–17, he led all goalies with 48 wins on the season and was second in goals against average (2.31).

He also set a career-high with 10 shutouts. Martin Jones won silver medals at both the World Junior Championships (2010) and Winter Olympics (2014), as well as gold medals at the World Cup of Hockey (2017) and IIHF World Championship (2018). 

Outside of hockey, he studied business administration at Northeastern University before turning professional full-time in 2010.

He married his long-time girlfriend Brittany Laughlin in 2018; they have one child together named Archer born in 2019.

For 2018-19 Toffoli signed a six-year contract extension with Lassie worth an estimated $42 million US dollars ($664k per game). 

He is known for his speed, passing skills, and strong shooting ability from both wings or at center ice – which has led him to be called "the best pure shooter I've ever seen." His wife Chiara gave birth to their daughter Mia on October 25th 2019; Tyler's second child together.

Tanner Pearson is a 30-year-old Canadian professional ice hockey player. He played with the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL) from 2018 to 2019.

Pearson was originally drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the third round, 79th overall, of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. He spent four seasons playing college hockey for Michigan State University before being traded to Pittsburgh during his fourth season there.

In 411 career NHL games, Pearson has scored 45 goals and added 95 assists for 140 points. His best statistical season came in 2017–18 when he recorded 20 goals and 50 assists for 70 points in 82 games played with Pittsburgh.

Pearson won gold at both the 2014 World Junior Championships and 2016 IIHF World Championship as part of Canada's junior team; he also represented Canada at multiple youth tournaments including world championships on three occasions prior to turning pro.

Colin Miller is a defenceman for the Vegas Golden Knights. He was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada on October 29th 1992 and he currently weighs 196 lb (89 kg).

Colin played junior hockey with the Kitchener Rangers of the OHL before being drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in 2012 at age 19th overall in the NHL Entry Draft. 

After playing two seasons with Anaheim, Miller was traded to Columbus where he spent three years as a key player on their Blue Jackets squad who made it to the playoffs twice during that time period before signing with Vegas as an unrestricted free agent ahead of their inaugural season in 2018-19.

In his first year with Vegas, Miller put up 14 points (6 goals and 8 assists) en route to earning Team MVP honours while helping lead them to their first ever Stanley Cup championship victory over Chicago Blackhawks in Game 6 of The Finals.

In 2010 he won his first Stanley Cup with the Phoenix Coyotes. He was signed as an unrestricted free agent by the Montreal Canadiens in July 2013.[1] On February 26, 2014, Bissonnette was traded to Ottawa Senators in exchange for forward prospect Jonathan Drouin.

The day after being traded to Ottawa, Bissonnette cleared waivers and became a free agent again on March 1st.[3][4] On May 5th 2015 Paul signed a one-year contract extension with Anaheim Ducks worth $1 million dollars[5].

Jordan Weal is a 30-year-old centre who has played for the Los Angeles Kings and Philadelphia Flyers. Jordan was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the second round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.

He made his NHL debut with the Kings in 2012, scoring his first career goal against Roberto Luongo in a 3-1 victory over Vancouver Canucks. In 2014, he signed as a free agent with Philadelphia Flyers and helped them reach the Stanley Cup Final where they were defeated by Pittsburgh Penguins..

Brandon Kozun is a right wing in the KHL and has been playing professionally since 2008. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in 2007, but never played for them as he was traded to the Phoenix Coyotes before their inaugural season.

He then spent two seasons with HC Sochi of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) before signing with SKA Saint Petersburg prior to the 2013-14 season. 

Brandon's most productive year statistically came during his time with SKA, where he registered 44 points (21 goals and 23 assists) in 54 games played.

After another successful year in 2014-15 which saw him score 37 points (19 goals and 18 assists), Kozun signed a three-year contract extension with Saint Petersburg at the end of that season which runs until 2018-19.

Injuries have hampered Brandon over recent seasons, limiting him to just 57 games played between 2015/16 and 2017/18 due to injuries including a broken foot which caused him to miss much of 2016/17.

Despite this injury history however, Kozun still managed 38 points (20 goals and 18 assists) last season - his highest total since tallying 50 points while playing for Sochi two years previously.

Jason LaBarbera is a goaltender who has played for the Coyotes, Flames, and Oilers. LaBarbera was drafted by the Coyotes in the third round of the 2000 NHL Entry Draft.

He has also played for Nürnberg in the Bundesliga, and was part of the Canadian national team at the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Bodnarchuk has represented Canada at international level, and was a part of their squad at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

He has also won a Canadian Championship with the Montreal Impact in 2013. He has been a part of the Impact since their inaugural season in 2012, and has since helped the team win two MLS Cups. Bodnarchuk is a regular for Canada and has made over 50 appearances for the national team.

Vey made his NHL debut with the Kings in the 2014-15 season. In the 2017-18 season, Vey was traded to the St. Louis Blues. In the 2018-19 season, Vey was traded to the Vancouver Canucks. Vey has played in the KHL for Barys Nur-Sultan. Vey married his wife, Jenna, in July of 2019.

Vey is a centre/right winger. Linden Vey was drafted 96th overall by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. 

Vey has spent the majority of his career playing with the Kings' AHL affiliate, the Manchester Monarchs. He made his NHL debut in the 2013–14 season and has since played in over 100 games.

Vey has also represented Canada at both the World Juniors and the World Championships. In 2017, Vey was signed by the Calgary Flames as a free agent. Vey has been a productive player, recording over 20 points in each of the past two seasons. He is expected to be a key part of the Flames' offense next season.

Richard Seeley was born on April 30th, 1979 in Powell River, British Columbia. He was drafted in the 5th round, 131st overall by the Boston Bruins in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft.

He played for the AHL Lowell Lock Monsters, the Manchester Monarchs, and the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. He was signed by the New York Islanders to a one-year contract in September of 2012.

He was released by the Islanders in October of 2012. He was signed by the Toronto Maple Leafs to a one-year contract in October of 2012. He was released by the Maple Leafs in November of 2012.

He was signed by the Los Angeles Kings to a one-year contract in November of 2012. He was released by the Kings in January of 2013. Richard Seeley was a defenseman for the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL from 1999 to 2011.

He was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the 137th overall in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. He played for the Vienna Capitals, EBEL, Füchse Duisburg, KHL Medveščak Zagreb, and the Belfast Giants in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga before retiring in 2011.

Kolomatis played defence for the Hershey Bears in the American Hockey League (AHL) for four seasons before signing with the Tampa Bay Lightning in the summer of 2016.

He played college hockey for the University of Vermont, where he was a two-time All-American and Hobey Baker Award winner as the top player in the NCAA. Kolomatis made his NHL debut with the Lightning in the 2016-17 season, and played in all 82 games for the team.

He was traded to the Boston Bruins in the summer of 2018, and played in all 82 games for the team in the 2018-19 season. Kolomatis was originally drafted by the Lightning in the sixth round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

Mark Morris played defense for Colgate and Union during his playing career. Morris coached at St. Lawrence for two seasons before joining the New Haven Nighthawks of the AHL in 1988.

Morris became the head coach of the Dallas Black Hawks in 1994 and led the team to the Stanley Cup Finals in 1999. Morris retired from coaching following the 2004-05 season. Morris currently serves as an assistant coach for the Colorado Avalanche.

Morris was inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame in 2007. Morris was awarded the Lester B. Pearson Award as Canada's top sportsman of the year in 2007. Morris has written two books about his coaching career. Morris was born in Massena, New York and is married with three children.

Morris was an assistant coach for the Vancouver Canucks from 2003 to 2004. Morris then became the head coach of the Saginaw Spirit in 2004. 

Morris led the Spirit to the 2004–2006 OHL Championship. Morris then became the head coach of the Northwood School Prep. Morris coached the Monarchs to the 2014–2015 Atlantic Hockey Championship.

Morris then joined the Florida Panthers as an assistant coach. Morris was named the head coach of the Charlotte Checkers in January of 2019. Morris has a record of 337–225–53 with the Monarchs, Checkers, and Panthers.

He was named assistant coach with the Wildcats in September of 2016. Giuliano is a graduate of Nashua South High School. He and his wife, Amanda, have two children. He is a member of the United States Hockey Hall of Fame. He was born in Nashua, New Hampshire, on June 20, 1979.

Jeff Giuliano played for Boston University from 1998 to 2001. He was a two-time captain, and helped lead the Terriers to the Frozen Four in his sophomore year. 

Giuliano played for the Manchester Monarchs from 2002-2008. During his time in the organization, he tallied 134 points (54 goals and 80 assists) in 236 games.

After playing for the Monarchs, Giuliano joined the Dynamo Minsk of the Kontinental Hockey League. He tallied 61 points (24 goals and 37 assists) in 122 games. Giuliano then signed with the Iserlohn Roosters of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. 

He tallied 39 points (13 goals and 26 assists) in 79 games. Giuliano then signed with the New Hampshire Wildcats of the American Hockey League.

He tallied 25 points (9 goals and 16 assists) in 57 games. Giuliano signed with the Manchester Monarchs of the ECHL on a one-year contract for the 2018-19 season. He will serve as the assistant coach for the Monarchs.

Hubie McDonough was a highly skilled left winger who played in the NHL for the Los Angeles Kings, New York Islanders, San Jose Sharks and NHL Draft Undrafted.

McDonough was known for his speed, agility and scoring ability. His career spanned from 1986 to 2002. He was a fan favorite for his scoring ability and passion for the game.
