Nemanja Vidić is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Premier League club Manchester United and the Serbia national team. 

A product of hometown Jedinstvo Užice, Vidić made his senior debut with Red Star Belgrade in 2000 before moving to Premier League side Manchester United in 2003.

He has also played for Inter Milan and Barcelona, winning two Serie A titles with the latter. Holder of 38 international caps, Vidić represented Serbia at the 2006 World Cup and Euro 2008 finals, helping them to their first major tournament victory since 1990 at Euro 2012. 

In 2018 he captained his country to their second consecutive title win at the Russia World Cup competition.

Considered one of Europe's best defenders during his peak years, notably being named on Fifa's Best XI five times (2004–06).

Vidić was once fined by Italian football authorities after calling opposing players "cunts" live on television following a match between Juventus and AC Milan; this led him to an indefinite UEFA suspension from all competitive matches.

Retiring from international play after the 2014 World Cup qualifiers due to injury,[4][5] he announced his return for 2019 shortly before that year's edition commenced but withdrew again soon afterward citing family reasons.

After retiring from playing professionally in December 2018, Vidić began work as manager of former club Sloboda Užice.

Aleksandar Katai is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Red Star Belgrade. Katai made his debut for Vojvodina in 2009 and went on to make 29 appearances for the club.

Aleksandar Pešić is a Serbian footballer who plays for Serbian club Red Star Belgrade. He started his career at Serbian side Partizan, where he won the Serbian SuperLiga and Serbian Cup during his time there.

He then moved to Premier League side Crystal Palace, where he spent two seasons. He then joined Serbian side Red Star Belgrade in January 2019. He has represented Serbia at U-20, U-21, and senior levels. Aleksandar Pešić is a goalscorer, having scored over 50 goals in his career.

Mihajlović was born in Vukovar, SR Croatia, SFR Yugoslavia in 1969 and played for Borovo, Vojvodina and Red Star Belgrade before joining Roma in 1994. 

He spent 12 seasons with the Italian side, making 126 appearances and winning two Serie A titles.

Mihajlović retired from professional football in 2004, having played for Lazio for 20 years. He later became a manager, taking charge of Fiorentina in 2010.

However, he was sacked after only six months in charge. Mihajlović died in Rome, Italy, aged 53, in December 2022, after a long battle with illness.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters and son. Mihajlović was an attacking full-back who was known for his pace, crossing and shooting. 

He was also a hard-working and disciplined player, often going to ground to win the ball back. Mihajlović was a member of the Yugoslavia national team, making his debut in 1988.

He made 54 appearances and won a bronze medal at the 1992 Olympic Games. Siniša Mihajlović is remembered as one of the best defenders in Roma's history. 

He was a key part of the side that won two Serie A titles in the 1990s, as well as the team that reached the semi-finals of the Champions League in 2004.

Guélor Kanga was born in Oyem, Gabon on 1 September 1990 and is an attacking midfielder for Serbian side Red Star Belgrade. Kanga made his senior debut for Gabon in 2009 and has since played at the 2010 and 2014 Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.

Bora Kostić was a Yugoslavian international footballer. He played for Red Star Belgrade, Vicenza and Yugoslavia. Kostić was a left winger and centre forward.

Kostić was part of the Yugoslavian national team that won the bronze medal at the 1960 Olympics. Kostić also won the silver medal at the 1960 European Championship.

Kostić was capped 78 times for Yugoslavia, scoring 38 goals. Kostić later played for Red Star Belgrade, Vicenza and AEK Athens. Kostić died aged 80 in Belgrade, Serbia.

Kostić was inducted into the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) Hall of Fame in 2005. Kostić was born on 14 June 1930 in Obrenovac, Yugoslavia.

Bora Kostić was born in 1962 in Serbia and he started playing football with Red Star Belgrade. Kostić was a powerful and skilful forward and he was a regular for Yugoslavia at the international level.

Kostić represented his country at the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960 and he also played in the European Championship in France in 1960. Kostić left Red Star Belgrade in 1966 and he signed for St. Louis Stars.

He stayed with the club for two seasons before moving to the San Francisco Dons. Kostić finished his career in the United States with the Seattle Sounders and he retired in 1992. Kostić was honoured by his home country with the Order of National Hero in 2003.

Kostić is now a football coach, working with the youth teams of Red Star Belgrade.

Darko Pančev is a Macedonian professional footballer who plays as a forward. He started his career at Vardar, before moving to Partizan in 1986. 

He won the Yugoslav Cup with Partizan in 1991, and also won the UEFA Cup with the club in 1992.

He moved to Chelsea in 1996, but failed to make an impact, and later returned to Partizan. He retired from professional football in 2003, and later managed several clubs in his home country. 

He made his international debut in 1988, and played at UEFA Euro 1996 and the World Cup in 2002.

He is the father of current Chelsea player Mladen Pančev. He was named Macedonian Footballer of the Year in 2006, and was also voted Partizan's Greatest Ever Player in a poll conducted by the club's supporters.

Rajko Mitić was Yugoslavia's head coach from October 1970 to March 2008 and played for Red Star Belgrade in the 1940s. Mitić led Yugoslavia to the 1974 World Cup, but lost in the quarterfinals to West Germany.

He later coached Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Mitić died in 2008 at the age of 85. He is the father of Slaven Mitić, who is also a football coach. Rajko Mitić is considered to be one of the greatest Yugoslav footballers of all time.

He was inducted into the FIFA World Cup Hall of Fame in 2006. Mitić is a member of the Serbian Football Hall of Fame. 

He is also a recipient of the Order of the Red Star. Rajko Mitić was a versatile midfielder who played for clubs in Serbia and Yugoslavia.

He represented his country at the Olympics and UEFA European Championship. After retiring as a player, Mitić became a manager. 

He led Yugoslavia to the UEFA European Championship in 1968, but they were runners-up. Mitić died in December 2013 at the age of 83.

Vladimir Jugović was born in Trstenik, SFR Yugoslavia in 1969. He started playing football for Red Star Belgrade in 1989, and made 62 appearances for the team before moving to Rad in 1990 on a loan.

Jugović made 16 appearances for Rad before returning to Red Star Belgrade in 1992. Jugović played for Red Star Belgrade until his retirement in 2002. He has made 11 appearances for the Serbia national team, and was a part of their 2002 World Cup squad.

Jugović was inducted into the Serbian Football Hall of Fame in 2006. Jugović is currently a football coach at Red Star Belgrade. He was the head coach of Serbia U21s from 2008 to 2011. Jugović has also worked as a football commentator for various Serbian TV networks.

Vladimir Jugovic was a very successful forward during his playing days in Serie A, and he also had a successful international career.

Petrović was born on 1 July 1955 in Belgrade, PR Serbia. He started his footballing career at Red Star Belgrade in 1972 and went on to play for Arsenal, Royal Antwerp, Brest, Standard Liège and Nancy.

Petrović made his international debut for Yugoslavia in 1982 and played at the World Cup in Spain in 1998. Petrović retired from playing in 1996 and took over as manager of Serbia. He led the team to the 2006 World Cup and the 2010 World Cup.

Petrović was voted manager of the year in 2006 and 2010. He was appointed as Serbia's permanent manager in November 2013. 

Petrović has three sons, including Manchester City midfielder Aleksandar. Petrović was knighted by the Serbian government in May 2016.

He was named honorary president of Serbian club Partizan in July 2017. Petrović was awarded the Order of the White Eagle by Serbian president Tomislav Nikolić in March 2018.

Dragan Stojković is a Serbian football administrator and coach. He has served as the president of the Football Association of Serbia and Montenegro (FAS) since 2001.

Stojković began his football career with Partizan in 1982. He won the Yugoslav Championship with the club in 1988 and the Serbian Cup in 1989. Stojković moved to Italy in 1990 and joined Juventus.

He won the Italian Cup with the club in 1991 and the Italian Supercup in 1992. Stojković moved to Spain in 1993 and joined Barcelona. He won the Spanish Cup with the club in 1994 and the Spanish Supercup in 1995.

Stojković moved back to Serbia in 1996 and joined Partizan. He won the Serbian Championship with the club in 1998 and the Serbian Cup in 1999. Stojković joined Ajax in 2000 and won the Dutch Cup with the club in 2001.

He also won the Dutch Supercup in 2001. Stojković moved to FAS in 2001 and served as the president of the football association until 2005. He also served as the head coach of the Serbia national football team from 2002 to 2004.

Stojković has also served as a football referee. He was a referee in the 1998 World Cup and the 2000 European Championship. Stojković is currently the head coach of the Serbia national football team.

Ilija Najdoski is a Macedonian football defender who played for clubs in his home country and abroad, most notably with Russian club Krylia Sovetov Samara.

Uroš Spajić is a Serbian football defender who currently plays for Red Star Belgrade. Spajić started his career with Radnički Beograd before joining Red Star Belgrade in 2014.

El Fardou Mohamed Ben Nabouhane is a French-born forward who currently plays for APOEL. Ben Nabouhane spent most of his youth career playing for French side JS Saint-Pierroise.

He joined Le Havre in 2006 and helped the club win promotion to Ligue 1 in 2008. Ben Nabouhane joined APOEL in 2016 and has since made over 150 appearances for the club. 

The 33-year-old has been a regular for APOEL in the Cypriot First Division and has scored 42 goals in total.

Srđan Mijailović was born on 10 November 1993 in Požega, FR Yugoslavia. He is a midfielder and currently plays for Red Star Belgrade. Mijailović has represented Yugoslavia at youth level.

Milan Pavkov is a Serbian professional footballer who currently plays for Al-Fayha. Pavkov is a centre forward who has played for clubs in Serbia, FR Yugoslavia, and Qatar.

Pavkov made his professional debut with Serbian club Red Star Belgrade in 2011. He spent two seasons with the club before moving to Qatar in 2014. Pavkov spent two seasons with Qatar's Qatari club Al-Fayha before moving back to Serbia in 2017.

Stefan Mitrović is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Spanish club Getafe. Mitrović started his career at Red Star Belgrade, before moving to Rad Belgrade in 2008.

He made his debut for Serbia and Montenegro in a 2010 World Cup qualifying match against Azerbaijan, and has since made over 50 appearances for his country. Mitrović joined Spanish club Getafe in January 2017.

Sékou Sanogo is a Ivorian international footballer who plays for Paris FC on loan from Red Star Belgrade. Sanogo started his career at hometown club Abidjan FC, before moving to Belgian side FC Sékou Djaména in 2007.

Yegor Prutsev is a Russian midfielder who currently plays for Serbian side Red Star Belgrade. Prutsev was born on December 23, 2002 in the city of Nizhny Novgorod.

He began his youth career with FC Tekstilshchik Ivanovo before moving to FC Lokomotiv Moscow in 2015. Prutsev made his first-team debut for Lokomotiv Moscow in the Russian Cup in 2016.

He joined Red Star Belgrade in January 2019. Prutsev is a versatile midfielder who can play in either defensive or attacking positions. Prutsev is known for his accurate passing and dribbling skills.

Anthony Ohikhuaeme Omoijuanfo was born on 10 January 1994 in Oslo, Norway. He is a forward and currently plays for Brøndby. He made his senior debut for Holmlia in 2010.
