Ohtani is a two-way player who has spent most of his career as a pitcher but can also hit. He was the first player in history to be drafted twice by MLB teams, and he made his debut with the Los Angeles Angels in 2018.

Chone Figgins was born on January 22, 1978, in Leary, Georgia. He attended the University of Southern California and played for the Trojans baseball team.
In 2002, Chone signed with the Anaheim Angels and made his MLB debut that year playing 3 games before being traded to Seattle later that season.
In 2004, he helped lead the Mariners to their first ever playoff appearance and a World Series berth where they were eventually beaten by Boston in seven games.
In 2007, Figgins led all AL third basemen with a .919 fielding percentage while also clubbing 25 home runs en route to an All-Star selection.
Figgins enjoyed another successful campaign in 2009 when he batted .305 with career highs of 34 home runs and 119 RBIs as well as leading all major league third basemen in total bases (337).
Despite missing significant time due to injury from 2011-2013 (hips/throwing shoulder), Figgins continued to hit well enough (.285) for teams interested in signing him but ultimately elected free agency after making 11 appearances for Los Angeles Dodgers during the 2014 season at age 36.
Following speculation linking him once again with an LA return throughout spring training 2015 however, it was announced on March 31st that Chone had retired from professional baseball following 12 seasons largely spent splitting his time between MLB & NPB play.
4. David Fletcher

Louis Cardinals in the 3rd round of the 2010 draft. Carpenter made his MLB debut with the Cardinals in 2011 and has since been a key player for them both on offence and defence over the past few years, earning him several accolades including 2 Gold Glove Awards (2012-2013).
Matt Carpenter is currently contracted to play with the San Diego Padres until 2020 but is rumoured to be attracting interest from other teams should he decide to move on from this current association later down the line. Matt Carpenter is a talented first baseman with the St.

Despite this down year which saw him post a slash line of/.269/.341 over 105 games played, Yankees general manager Brian Cashman wisely signed Mike Moustakas to a 3yr/$33M contract extension before Spring Training even started; marking the beginning of what hopefully will be many more productive years ahead for one of baseball’s truly unique players.

16. Rance Mulliniks
Mulliniks was signed by the California Angels as an amateur free agent in 1976. He played for the Angels from 1977-1981, before being traded to the Montreal Expos.
Mulliniks spent three seasons with the Expos, and then one season with the Cleveland Indians (1984). Mulliniks retired after playing in just 88 games over two seasons with Cleveland (1985-1986).
After his baseball career ended, Mulliniks began working as a scout for both teams in MLB. In 2007, he was inducted into Tulare County's Sports Hall of Fame alongside former NHL player Wayne Gretzky and boxer Muhammad Ali Mulliniks was a noted power hitter in his day, as he hit 73 home runs during his time with the Blue Jays.
He also had a batting average of .272, which is respectable for someone of his caliber. Mulliniks is most notable, however, for being one of the few position players to win three MVP Awards (1992-1994).
After finishing his career with the Angels and Royals in 1995 and 1996 respectively, Mulliniks retired from baseball at the age of 36.
Rance Mulliniks will always be remembered fondly by Blue Jays fans for his accomplishments on and off the field over the course of 18 seasons in Major League Baseball.
