Western Kentucky Hilltoppers football is an American college football program in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision. Established in 1908, the Hilltoppers have a long and storied history of success on the field and in the classroom.

The Hilltoppers have won 11 conference titles, including four in the Ohio Valley Conference, and have appeared in ten bowl games. With a strong tradition of championship-level play, the Hilltoppers are sure to provide exciting football season after season.

1. Tyler Higbee

Higbee was a standout tight end at East Lake High School in Clearwater, Florida. 

Higbee played college football at Western Kentucky and caught 71 passes for 1,017 yards and 10 touchdowns over three seasons with the Hilltoppers.

After going undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft, Higbee signed with the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent. Higbee has appeared in 47 games (26 starts) over four seasons with the Rams, recording 264 receptions for 3,295 yards and 22 touchdowns.

He also registered 85 tackles and seven sacks on defense while playing mainly as a tight end or H-back fullback role during his tenure in LA. In March 2019, Higbee's contract expired and he opted not to renew it with the team. 

He is now a free agent once again after spending four years with them overall. Tyler Higbee was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the 3rd round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

Higbee played tight end for Western Kentucky University and had over 2,000 receiving yards and 25 touchdowns during his college career. Higbee is considered a big-play receiver who can make plays downfield. 

Higbee has started two games for the Rams this season and caught six passes for 63 yards and one touchdown. The 23-year-old will look to continue his success with the Rams in future seasons.

2. George Fant

George Fant is a 30-year-old offensive tackle from Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was drafted by the New York Jets in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft and has since made over 100 appearances for them including four seasons with over 50 tackles.

In 2018, Fant joined the Seattle Seahawks on a one-year contract and played well enough to be offered another deal at the end of the season. 

George Fant is married with two children and enjoys hunting, fishing, playing golf, working out, and spending time with his family.

George Fant was undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft but signed with the Seattle Seahawks and played for them until 2019. He then signed with the New York Jets and has been there since 2020. Fant has made 53 starts in 75 games, including 47 during his time with the Seahawks and 6 while with the Jets.

He's had an impressive career thus far, recording 1,147 yards on 158 receptions (15 touchdowns) as well as 7 rushing touchdowns over that span of time. George Fant is a key part of both teams he's played for so far and will continue to do so moving forward.

Taywan Taylor was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in 2017. He played for them from 2017 to 2018 and had a total of 54 catches for 741 yards and four touchdowns.

Taywan Taylor is 27 years old, 5'11" tall and weighs 205 pounds. Taywan Taylor was a prolific receiver at West Virginia, where he racked up over 1,000 yards and 11 touchdowns during his career.

After being drafted in the seventh round by the Cleveland Browns in 2019, Taywan made an immediate impact with his speed and catch-and-run ability. 

In 2020, Taywan became one of only two players in NFL history to record three receiving touchdowns on 100 or more receiving yards (joining Antonio Brown).

The Houston Texans signed Taywan to a four-year contract extension in August 2020, which set him as the team's starting wide receiver for the foreseeable future. 

As a member of the New Orleans Breakers throughout the 2022–present season, Taywan has helped lead them to back-to-back playoff appearances while ranking second all-time in receptions behind only Jerry Rice with 207 catches during that span.

Rod Smart was a running back and kick returner for the Chargers from 2000-2002. He had a brief stint with the Baltimore Ravens in 2003, but did not make any appearances.

In 2004, he signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he played until 2007. After spending 2008 out of football due to injury, Rod returned to play for the Indianapolis Colts in 2009 and 2010 before retiring at age 34 after two seasons there.

As of 2018, Rod is an assistant coach at Western Kentucky University as part of their staff coaching running backs and wide receivers on offense and special teams on defense.. Rod Smart was an undrafted free agent out of Louisiana Tech and made the Philadelphia Eagles' 53-man roster in 2001.

He played one season with the Eagles before being waived during training camp in 2002 and signing on to the Edmonton Eskimos practice squad. He signed a contract with the Carolina Panthers later that year and spent three seasons with them, starting 26 games at cornerback. 

In 2006, he was traded to Oakland for quarterback JaMarcus Russell, but only spent two seasons there before retiring after playing just five games in 2008 due to injury.

Jeff Brohm was the head coach at Louisville Cardinals from 2017 to 2019. He played football for San Diego Chargers, Washington Redskins and then San Francisco 49ers.

After coaching for three seasons at Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, he became the new head coach of Louisville in 2017. As a player, Jeff Brohm had an impressive playing career with stints with the San Diego Chargers (1994) and Washington Redskins (1995-1997).

In his first season as a head coach, Jeff Brohm led the Louisville Cardinals to their first bowl game since 2013 - defeating Georgia Southern 45-42 in the TaxSlayer Bowl on New Year’s Day 2019. Jeff Brohm is a former quarterback at Louisville and has coached in the NFL for 10 seasons.

He was most recently the head coach of the Illinois Fighting Illini, but he fired after just one season. Jeff Brohm is currently coaching with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as their quarterbacks coach.

6. Mel Mitchell

Mel Mitchell is a safety who played collegiately at Western Kentucky. Mel was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 7th round of the 2003 NFL Draft, but he did not sign with them and instead went to play for the Miami Dolphins.

In 2007, Mitchell signed with the Tennessee Titans and has been there ever since barring a one-year stint with Jacksonville in 2016. While playing for Tennessee, Mel won two Super Bowls (XXXVIII and XXXIX) as well as four AFC Championships (2007-2009).

He also made it to two Pro Bowls (2010 & 2017). On January 1st of this year, Mel announced his retirement from football after 11 seasons playing professionally. 

Mel Mitchell was a standout cornerback for the New Orleans Saints from 2002-2005. After leaving the Saints, he had two stints with the Patriots (2006-2007).

He played in all 16 games during his first season with New England and recorded four interceptions and one sack. In 2007, Mitchell appeared in just five games before being traded to the Philadelphia Eagles where he played out his career.

Bailey Zappe is a quarterback for the New England Patriots. He was drafted in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Bailey Zappe attended Victoria East High School in Victoria, Texas.

He was a four-year starter for the school's football team. After graduating from high school, Zappe attended Houston Baptist University. He played for the Houston Baptist Broncos in 2017 and 2018.

Zappe was drafted by the New England Patriots in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He has appeared in one game for the Patriots, completing one pass for six yards. Bailey Zappe is currently on the Patriots' active roster.

Bailey Zappe was a standout quarterback at Boca Raton High School and was one of the most highly-touted prospects in the country. 

Zappe was a two-time C-USA MVP and led the Buccaneers to a 20-win season in his junior year. Zappe played in four bowl games, including the 2021 Boca Raton Bowl, where he was named MVP.

Zappe was drafted in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL draft by the Denver Broncos. Zappe is currently a starting quarterback for the Broncos and has led them to a 5-3 record.

White was a standout quarterback at NSU University School in Florida, and was recruited by several Division I programs. He chose South Florida over Florida State and Miami, and competed for the Bulls from 2013 to 2014.

White transferred to Western Kentucky in 2015, and was named the starter as a true freshman. He led the Hilltoppers to a victory over Alabama in the 2017 Sun Bowl, and was drafted by the Jets in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

White is a hard-working and tenacious quarterback who is looking to make a name for himself in the NFL. He is a threat to run with the ball, and has a strong arm. White is entering his fourth NFL season, and is hoping to improve on his rookie campaign.

He is a long-shot to win the starting job, but is looking to contribute in any way possible. White is a passionate player who is looking to improve his game every season. He is a natural leader on and off the field, and is looking to be a valuable asset to the Jets moving forward.

Brandon Doughty was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the 7th round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Doughty played for the Miami Dolphins in 2016 and 2017 before being released in 2018.

Doughty has also played for the Washington Redskins and the Los Angeles Rams. Doughty has completed 128 of 263 passes for 1,584 yards and 11 touchdowns in his career. Brandon Doughty is currently a free agent.

Brandon Doughty is a former Arizona Cardinals quarterback who has played in the NFL since 2015. Doughty was drafted in the sixth round by the Cardinals in 2015 and played in 12 games that season. Doughty started all 16 games in 2016, but missed the final six games of the season with an injury.

Doughty was traded to the Los Angeles Rams in 2018 and started all 14 games for them. Doughty led the Rams to the playoffs for the first time in franchise history, but they were eliminated in the first round. Doughty is a two-time C-USA Most Valuable Player and FBS passing yards leader.

Forrest Lamp was born in 1994 in Venice, Florida. He attended high school at Venice (Venice, Florida). He played college football at Western Kentucky. Lamp was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the 2017 NFL Draft and signed a four-year contract.

Lamp has played in 27 games and started 21 of them since being drafted. He has a total of 49 tackles and two sacks. Lamp is a guard and is considered to be a starter for the Rams. 

Lamp is married and has one child. Lamp is considered to be a promising player in the NFL and is expected to improve in the future.

Forrest Lamp is an extremely talented offensive lineman who has the potential to be one of the best in the league. Lamp was drafted by the Chargers in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft and has quickly made a name for himself on the offensive line.

Austin Reed is a graduate student at Western Kentucky University and is the starting quarterback for the Hilltoppers. Reed was born on February 22, 2000 and is just 22 years old.

Reed is 6'2" and weighs 230 pounds. Reed played high school football at Taylor County High School in Kentucky. Reed started his college career at Murray State, but transferred to Western Kentucky in January of 2018.

Reed has played in five games for Western Kentucky this season and has completed 57% of his passes for 602 yards with five touchdowns and four interceptions. Reed is a dual-threat quarterback who is able to run and pass.

Reed is considered to be one of the top quarterback prospects in the 2019 NFL Draft. Reed is expected to graduate from Western Kentucky in May 2019 and will then be eligible for the NFL Draft.

Jonathan Dowling was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the 2014 NFL Draft. Dowling played college football at Western Kentucky. He has also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Miami Dolphins, and Oakland Raiders.

Antonio Andrews is a running back for the Tennessee Titans. He was originally undrafted but signed with the Titans in 2014. Andrews has made a name for himself in the NFL with his speed and ability to break tackles.

Andrews was born in Enterprise, Alabama in 1992. He played high school football at Fort Campbell in Kentucky. After graduating from high school, Andrews attended Western Kentucky University. He played for the Hilltoppers from 2010 to 2013.

Andrews was undrafted in the 2014 NFL Draft but signed with the Titans. He made his NFL debut in the 2014 season. Andrews has been a mainstay on the Titans offense since 2014. He has amassed over 1,000 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns in his career.

Andrews has also been a valuable member of the Titans Special Teams unit. He has returned punts and kickoffs for the Titans. Andrews is a speedster who can break tackles. He is a threat to score anytime he touches the ball. Andrews is a hard worker who is always looking to improve his game.

He is a valuable member of the Titans team. Antonio Andrews is a tough runner who has played a key role in the Titans offense over the past few years. He is a versatile player who can play any running back position.

Iyiegbuniwe was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the 2018 NFL Draft. He played linebacker for the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers during his college career.

Iyiegbuniwe has been praised for his aggressive play and strong tackling. He is set to make his NFL debut with the Panthers in the 2018 season. Iyiegbuniwe was a standout lineman for the Chicago Bears in 2018, helping the team make it to the playoffs.

He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Iyiegbuniwe will likely be a backup lineman for the Seahawks, but he is an exciting player to watch. He is from Nigeria, and he is the first Nigerian-born player in the NFL.

DeAngelo Malone is an outside linebacker for the Atlanta Falcons. He was drafted in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Malone attended Cedar Grove High School in Ellenwood, Georgia.

He was a three-star recruit and was ranked as the No. 82 overall player in the nation by ESPN. Malone played college football at Western Kentucky. He was a starter for the Hilltoppers and was named to the All-American second team in his final season.

Malone was drafted by the Falcons in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He made his NFL debut in Week 8 of the 2020 season. Malone has recorded 33 tackles and one sack in his rookie season. He is expected to be a key part of the Falcons' defense in the future.

Malone is a member of the National Guard and is currently serving in Iraq. He is scheduled to return to the Falcons in 2020.

Andrew Jackson was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the 2014 NFL Draft. Jackson played for the Colts for two years before being traded to the Spokane Empire in 2017.

David Carter was a standout offensive guard for the Indianapolis Colts during the 1970s and 1980s. He was inducted into the Indianapolis Colts Hall of Fame in 1997.

Carter also played for the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions. He died from a heart attack in 2021 at the age of 67. David Carter was a 6th round draft pick of the Houston Oilers in 1977.

Carter played for the Oilers for two seasons and then spent three seasons with the New Orleans Saints. He compiled 246 receptions for 3,764 yards and 26 touchdowns in his career. Carter was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2001.

He currently works as a football analyst for Fox Sports. David Carter is a well-respected football player who is still active in the game.

Mitchell Henry was a tight end for the Cleveland Browns. He tragically died in a car accident in June of 2017. He was 24 years old. Mitchell Henry was a standout player at Elizabethtown High School.

He attended Western Kentucky University and was never drafted. Mitchell Henry was a strong blocker and was able to catch the ball well. Mitchell Henry is remembered as a talented player who had a bright future ahead of him.

His death is a tragedy and his family and friends are heartbroken. Mitchell Henry will be remembered as a great player and a kindhearted person. 

Mitchell Henry had a solid rookie season with the Green Bay Packers in 2015. Henry was a reliable backup for the Packers and is expected to be a mainstay in the team's backfield in the future.

Jackson is a two-time Pro Bowler and was named to the All-Pro team in 1984. Jackson is also a two-time All-American and was inducted into the Western Kentucky Hall of Fame in 2002. Jackson is currently the head football coach at Sullivan Central High School in Sullivan, Kentucky.

Jackson was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS or Lou Gehrig's Disease) in 2013 and passed away in 2016 at the age of 70. 

Jackson is a beloved figure in the Sullivan community and his death has left a void in the community. Jackson's legacy will live on through his coaching and his work with ALS research.

He was most recently the defensive coordinator of the Toronto Argonauts, where he led them to the Grey Cup in 1981. Lindsey is a two-time nominee for the NFL Coach of the Year award and was inducted into the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians Hall of Fame. 

He is currently one of the longest-serving coaches in the NFL and is widely respected for his coaching abilities. Lindsey is a member of the American Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame and the Canadian Football Hall of Fame. 

He is married to the former Diane Lindsey and has two sons, Brad and Jeff. Lindsey is a devout Christian and often speaks about his faith in public appearances. He is a huge fan of the Kentucky Wildcats and is often seen at games wearing a Kentucky shirt.

Virgil Livers was a two-time Pro Bowler with the Chicago Bears. Livers was a tough and physical cornerback who was known for his interceptions. He was also a standout punt returner for the Bears, with a career average of over 20 yards.

Livers was released by the Bears in 1979 and then retired from football. Livers has since worked as a football analyst for Fox Sports. Livers was inducted into the Chicago Bears Hall of Fame in 2001. He is currently a sports radio host in Kentucky.

Livers is currently in his seventies and is still playing football at a competitive level. Livers is a highly respected member of the Chicago Bears community. Livers played 12 seasons in the NFL, recording 230 interceptions and 12 touchdowns. Livers was a two-time All-Pro and three-time Pro Bowler.

In 2016, Livers was inducted into the Western Kentucky University Athletic Hall of Fame. Livers currently works as an NFL analyst for Fox Sports.

26. Davlin Mullen

Davlin Mullen is a retired American football cornerback who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Oakland Raiders. Mullen was drafted by the Steelers in the seventh round of the 1982 NFL Draft.

He played college football at the University of Miami. Mullen was a member of the Steelers' Super Bowl team in 1986. He also played in the 1987 and 1990 Pro Bowls. Mullen was released by the Steelers in 1995.

He then retired from football. Mullen has been a television analyst for NFL games since 2000. Mullen is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame. Mullen and his wife, Charlene, have two children. Mullen is a pastor in the Pittsburgh area.

Mullen is a resident of McKeesport, Pennsylvania. Davlin Mullen was drafted by the New York Jets in the eighth round of the 1983 NFL Draft. 

He played for the Jets for three seasons before being traded to the Cleveland Browns in 1986. Mullen finished his career with the Browns and retired after the 1995 season.

Mullen was a three-time Pro Bowler and was named to the All-NFL First Team in 1985. Mullen is currently the quarterbacks coach for the Miami Dolphins. 

He was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 2006. Mullen is married and has two children. Davlin Mullen is a beloved member of the New York Jets community and is always welcome at the team's home games.

In 2007, Tyson Helton became the head coach at UAB and led the team to a 6–6 record. In 2008, Tyson Helton led UAB to a 7–5 record and a berth in the FCS playoffs.

28. Jimmy Feix

Feix was a prolific quarterback in the 1950s and 1960s, leading Western Kentucky to three consecutive bowl games. He later served as an assistant coach at Western Kentucky and then as the school's AD from 1986 to 1991.

Feix died in October 2014 at the age of 83. Feix was the head coach of the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers for 29 seasons, compiling a 106-56-6 record. Feix led the Hilltoppers to six OVC championships, including the 1975 and 1978 titles.

Feix was also awarded three OVC Coach of the Year honors, most recently in 1980. Feix was inducted into the OVC Hall of Fame in 2003. Feix retired from coaching following the 2003 season. Feix died in 2013 at the age of 80.

He has accumulated 38 tackles, two sacks, and one forced fumble. Williams is expected to compete for a starting spot on the offensive tackle depth chart with the New Orleans Saints. Williams Jr. is an explosive running back who will make an impact in the NFL.

Keith Paskett was a wide receiver for the Tennessee Titans from 1990-2001. He had a very successful career, with over 1,000 yards receiving in each of his 10 seasons.

After his retirement from the NFL, Paskett became an analyst for the Titans. He is currently the team's wide receivers coach. Keith Paskett was born in Nashville, Tennessee on December 7, 1964.

He played football for the Vanderbilt Commodores and was drafted by the Houston Oilers in the first round of the 1990 NFL Draft. Paskett played 10 seasons in the NFL with the Tennessee Titans. He was a three-time Pro Bowler and was named to the All-Rookie Team in 1990.

After his retirement from the NFL, Paskett became an analyst for the Titans. He is currently the team's wide receivers coach. Keith Paskett has two children, a son and daughter. He and his wife, Toni, reside in Nashville, Tennessee. Keith Paskett is a member of the Tennessee Titans Ring of Honor.

He retired in 2016. He is now a football analyst for ESPN. Bobby Sippio is a former wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Slaughter.

Bobby Sippio was an All-OVC selection in 1999 and 2000, and was also a Division I-AA All-American in 2000. Sippio was a three-time ArenaBowl champion with the Orlando Predators, winning in XX and again in XXX. 

After retiring as a player, Sippio served as an assistant coach with the Detroit Lions and California Redwoods.

Joseph Jefferson was born in Russellville, Kentucky in 1980. Jefferson played college football at Western Kentucky and was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the 2002 NFL Draft.

Jefferson has played for the Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Tennessee Titans. Jefferson has made three Pro Bowls and was named to the All-Pro team in 2007. Jefferson is a two-time winner of the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award and was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Year in 2009.

Jefferson was released by the Titans in March of 2019 and is currently a free agent. Jefferson is married and has two children. 

Jefferson is a member of the National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame. Joseph Jefferson was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the 2002 NFL Draft. Jefferson played for the Colts from 2002-2005.

Barry Wagner Jr. is a retired NFL punter. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in 1985, but did not play in the league. He played for the New York Giants in 1986.

He retired in 1997. He was a member of the United States national team in the 1987 World Cup. He is married and has two children. He is a resident of Escondido, California.

He is a golf enthusiast. He is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Barry Wagner Jr. is one of the most decorated football players of his era. He played in the NFL for 14 seasons and won three Super Bowls.

Wagner was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 1986 NFL Draft. He played for the Cardinals, Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears, Cleveland Browns and San Diego Chargers before joining the New England Patriots in 1995.

Wagner was a three-time Super Bowl champion with the Patriots. He was a key member of the team that won the 1996 championship. He also played for the Detroit Lions in 1997. Wagner was named to the NFL All-Decade Team for the 1990s.

He was a two-time Pro Bowler and a two-time All-Pro selection. Wagner is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He was inducted in 2013. Wagner is currently an analyst for NFL Network.

36. Sherrod Coates

Sherrod Coates is a linebacker who has played for the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens. He was drafted in the first round of the 2002 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns.

He has also played for the Baltimore Ravens and Atlanta Falcons. He has won two Super Bowls with the Baltimore Ravens. He has also been named to five Pro Bowls. He has played in 914 games in his career.

He has recorded 235 sacks and has forced 36 fumbles. He has also made 126 interceptions. He is a two-time AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year. Sherrod Coates was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in 2003. He played for the Browns for two seasons and then moved on to the Edmonton Eskimos.

In 2006, he had a breakout season with the Eskimos and was named the CFL's most valuable player. After his impressive season, the Cleveland Browns signed him to a contract but he was waived in 2007. Coates has since had a successful career in the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals.

He has also played for the Seattle Seahawks and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In 2018, Coates was named the Ravens' Walter Payton Man of the Year. 

He is currently a free agent and is likely to sign with a new team in the near future. Sherrod Coates is a versatile player who can play both running back and receiver.

37. Arnold Winkenhofer

Career

Arnold Winkenhofer was a professional tennis player who competed in the 1930s. He was the runner-up at the U.S. National Championships in 1935 and 1936.

Winkenhofer also won the Cincinnati Championships in 1937 and the Pacific Coast Championships in 1937. Winkenhofer retired from professional tennis in 1939.

He later served as the tennis coach at the University of California, Los Angeles. Winkenhofer died in 1989 at the age of 84. He was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1975.

Winkenhofer was born in 1905 in Huntingburg, Indiana. Winkenhofer competed in the 1930s as a professional tennis player. He was the runner-up at the U.S. National Championships in 1935 and 1936.

He also won the Cincinnati Championships in 1937 and the Pacific Coast Championships in 1937. Winkenhofer retired from professional tennis in 1939. He later served as the tennis coach at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Winkenhofer died in 1989 at the age of 84.

38. Pete Marcus

Career

Pete Marcus was a long-time Major League Baseball player and manager. Marcus played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Philadelphia Phillies in his career.

He is best known for his time with the Pirates, where he won three World Series titles. Marcus also served as the Pirates' manager from 1971 to 1978. After his career in baseball, Marcus served as the manager of the Pittsburgh Pirates' farm team, the Indianapolis Indians, from 1979 to 1991.

Marcus passed away in 1997 at the age of 79. Marcus played for the Washington Redskins from 1944 to 1953. He was a three-time All-Pro and two-time Pro Bowler. 

Marcus was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1978. After his professional career, Marcus served as the head football coach at Western Kentucky from 1954 to 1967.

He also served as the athletic director at Western Kentucky from 1967 to 1977. Marcus was responsible for Western Kentucky becoming a Division I-A program. He passed away in 2006.

39. Carl Brazley

Brazley was a member of the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl XXXIX championship team. He was also a member of the Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl XLIX championship team. Brazley was inducted into the Western Kentucky University Hall of Fame in 2005.

Brazley currently works as a broadcaster for the NFL Network. Brazley was born on September 5, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky. 

Brazley is 65 years old. Brazley was an all-star for the Montreal Alouettes during their time in the CFL. Brazley was a two-time Grey Cup champion with the Toronto Argonauts.

Brazley played for the San Diego Chargers in 1987. Brazley currently works as a football analyst for TSN. Brazley is a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame.

40. Jordan Meredith

Jordan Meredith was a highly decorated high school player in Kentucky, earning first-team all-state honors as a senior. Meredith attended Western Kentucky, where he played guard for two seasons before being undrafted in 2021.

Meredith has since been signed by the Las Vegas Raiders and is currently their starting guard. Meredith has shown flashes of brilliance during his short career, and is looking to develop into a top-tier guard in the NFL. Meredith is a hard worker who is looking to improve his game each and every day.

Meredith is a young player with a lot of potential, and is sure to become a household name in the NFL in the years to come. 

Jordan Meredith is a player to keep an eye on in the future, as he is sure to make an impact on the NFL stage. Meredith was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL draft.

Meredith played college football at North Carolina. Meredith has appeared in one game for the Rams in the 2021 season. Meredith is a reserve/futures player with the Rams.

Final Words

The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers football program is one of the most successful in NCAA Division I football history. The Hilltoppers have won six conference championships and have produced many successful players, including All-Americans and NFL players.

Some of the best players in Hilltoppers football history include quarterback Randall Cunningham, running back Marshall Faulk, and defensive end Dwight Freeney.
