The Owen Sound Attack is an Ontario Hockey League team based in Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada. The team has been in existence since 1989 and is one of the most successful teams in the OHL.

The Attack play their home games at the J.D. McArthur Arena inside the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre and are known for their passionate fan base. The Attack have made numerous appearances in the Memorial Cup, and have won the J. Ross Robertson Cup twice.

The team is also the proud owner of several OHL records and is considered one of the most successful franchises in the league.

Kurtis MacDermid was born in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada on March 25th 1994. He is a 6'5" tall forward who plays for the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Kurtis has played for numerous teams over his career including: Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, Kingston Frontenacs, and Windsor Spitfires before signing with the Los Angeles Kings as an undrafted free agent in 2013.

His best year to date came in 2017-2018 when he scored 25 goals and had 43 points in 82 games played. Kurtis is known as one of the hardest working players in hockey and often puts up big numbers despite being a bottom six player most nights.

Outside of hockey, Kurtis enjoys spending time with his family and friends skating or watching sports events together Kurtis MacDermid is a defenceman who has played in the NHL for the Colorado Avalanche and Los Angeles Kings. 

He was originally drafted by the Avalanche but did not sign with them and went to play college hockey at Miami University of Ohio instead.

After playing two seasons with Miami, MacDermid was signed by LA as an undrafted free agent in 2015 and made his NHL debut that season. 

In 2017-18, he had a career year statistically, scoring six goals and 22 points in 79 games played for LA before being traded to Edmonton Oilers at the trade deadline. 

In 2018-19 he spent time on IR after breaking his hand during training camp with Edmonton; however he returned to play later that season and recorded nine more points over 37 games played for Edmonton before being released midway through the 2019-20 season.

At present, Kurtis MacDermid plays defense for HC Bolzano of Italy's top league Serie A1.

Bobby Ryan was born on March 17, 1987 in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He played his junior hockey with the United States National Team Development Program and made his NHL debut with the Ottawa Senators in 2006-07.

Injuries limited him to just 53 games over four seasons before he was traded to the Anaheim Ducks in 2009-10. 

Ryan scored 41 goals for Anaheim that season and helped them make it all the way to the Western Conference Finals, where they were ultimately defeated by Chicago Blackhawks.

The following year saw Bobby score a career-high 95 points (41 G, 46 A) as Anaheim reached once more the Stanley Cup Final but this time lost to Detroit Red Wings 4–0. 

After three more productive years with Anaheim (2011-13), Ryan left as an unrestricted free agent for Toronto Maple Leafs who reeled him.

In on a five-year contract worth $25 million US including an option for another year at $7 million US/$1M buyout fee should he not be retained by Toronto after that initial campaign).

Since then Bobby has played 71 regular season games scoring nine goals and adding 14 assists while serving primarily as a depth player on two different teams - Vancouver Canucks (2015-16) and Washington Capitals (2017-18). 

On July 1st 2018 Bobby signed a one year deal with Pittsburgh Penguins worth $700K CAD/yr/$600K USD which would include an additional $100K if he makes it into 20+ games or any playoff appearances which is something we know he will do.

Cody Ceci is a defenceman for the Ottawa Senators. He was drafted by the Sens in the 2nd round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. 

Cody Ceci has had a successful career with Ottawa, winning two Stanley Cups (in 2017 and 2018) as well as reaching other playoff rounds multiple times.

In addition to his on-ice achievements, Ceci is also known for his charitable work with various causes, most notably cystic fibrosis research and cancer awareness initiatives Outside of hockey, Cody lives in Toronto with his wife Brooke and their son Caden who both attend school there.

Joey Hishon is a 31-year-old goaltender who has played for the San Antonio Rampage in the AHL. He was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2009 but never made it to the NHL.

In 2015, he signed with the Rampage and has since been playing well, posting a record of 25-14-4 with a 2.92 GAA and .912 save percentage this season.

Gemel Smith is a forward for the Texas Stars in the American Hockey League. He was drafted by the Dallas Stars in the second round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

In his rookie season with Dallas, he scored 25 goals and 32 assists for57 points in 82 games played. After two seasons with Dallas, Gemel was traded to Calgary Flames on February 14th, 2015 as part of a three-team trade that also involved the Colorado Avalanche and the Minnesota Wild.

The next year, Gemel had an impressive campaign with Calgary scoring 41 goals and 62 assists for 95 points in 122 games played which led to him being named to represent Canada at World Championship.

Where he helped lead them to Gold medal game against Sweden where they lost 4-3 after leading 3-1 late in third period but still claiming their first ever world championship gold medal.

On July 1st, 2017 it was announced that Gemel signed a one year contract extension with Calgary Flames worth $1 million dollars.

Currently playing out his final season before becoming an unrestricted free agent on July 1st 2020 looks likely that gemel will sign another contract extension prior to then.

Joseph Blandisi is a Canadian centre who currently plays for the Pittsburgh Penguins. 2. He was drafted by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the second round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

Blandisi made his professional debut with Springfield Thunderbirds of the American Hockey League (AHL) in 2013-14 before joining Columbus for the 2014-15 season. 

Injuries limited him to just 44 games over two seasons, but he impressed enough to be signed as an unrestricted free agent by Pittsburgh in summer 2016.

Jake Dotchin is a defenseman for the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League. He was drafted by Tampa Bay in the 3rd round (77th overall) of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

Dotchin played major junior hockey with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds and helped them win a Memorial Cup in 2014 as well as an OHL Championship in 2013-14.

Nick Suzuki was born in London, Ontario on August 10, 1999. Suzuki was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2nd round, 36th overall, in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.

Suzuki has played in the NHL for the Canadiens and the Vancouver Canucks. Suzuki has represented Canada at the World Junior Championships and the World Cup of Hockey.

Mike Angelidis is a Canadian Football League player who played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He was drafted by the Tiger-Cats in the second round of the 2006 CFL Draft.

He played college football at the University of California. Angelidis has also played for the Montreal Alouettes, Edmonton Eskimos, and BC Lions. He has been a member of the Canadian national team.

He played with the Panthers for two seasons before he was traded to the Edmonton Oilers in 2014. He was traded to the Calgary Flames in 2016 and played with them for two seasons. He is currently playing with the Vancouver Canucks.

Greg Jacina played for the Panthers, Panthers, and then the Rauma in the Finnish Elite League from 2003-2015. 

Jacina was undrafted in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, but he was signed by the Panthers as a free agent. Jacina played in 192 games over the course of his career, scoring 39 goals and adding 61 assists.

Jacina has since retired from professional hockey, but he is still playing in the Finnish Elite League.
