The Guelph Storm are a premier ice hockey organization based in Guelph, Ontario. Founded in 1991, the team has been competing in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) ever since, providing a high caliber of hockey for fans in the community.

The Storm are known for their passionate fan base and have celebrated many successful campaigns, most recently winning the OHL Championship in the 2018–19 season.

Givani Smith was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on February 27th 1998. At just 24 years old, Smith is already an experienced professional hockey player having played for the Maple Leafs and Senators organizations.

He has good speed and agility which make him very difficult to defend against off the rush. Known for his strong offensive play, Smith has scored 22 goals and added 41 assists in 134 career games thus far. 

His contract with Ottawa will expire at the end of this season; however he is expected to be re-signed by another team before then due to his high level of play Givani Smith is a left winger for the Detroit Red Wings.

He was drafted in 2016, and has since played for Florida Panthers and Detroit Red Wings. Smith is known for his speed and agility on the ice. Despite being relatively new to professional hockey, he has already established himself as a key player on several teams. 

His skill set makes him an excellent option both offensively and defensively; he can score goals or create chances for others playing alongside him on the ice. With continued development, Givani Smith could become one of the most successful players in NHL history.

Brian Willsie was born in London, Ontario, Canada on March 16, 1978. He is 6'1" tall and weighs 202 pounds. He is a right wing and played for the Colorado Avalanche.

He has scored 117 goals and added 211 assists in 914 career games. He is a three-time winner of the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy, awarded to the player who best displays gentlemanly conduct and sportsmanship.

He has represented Canada in international competition on numerous occasions and was a member of the gold-medal-winning team at the 2002 World Championships. In 2006, he was traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning and then to the Calgary Flames in 2009.

He was released by the Flames at the end of the 2009-10 season and has since played for the New York Rangers and the Philadelphia Flyers. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2016.

Ryan Merkley is a 22-year-old defender who was born in Oakville, Ontario. Merkley played college soccer at the University of Oregon, where he was a two-time All-American and a 2017 Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year.

Mike Prokopec is a right wing player who has played for a number of teams in the NHL. Prokopec was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first round of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft.

He has also played for the Philadelphia Flyers, Colorado Avalanche, Anaheim Ducks, and Nashville Predators. Prokopec has won a number of awards, including the Hart Memorial Trophy as the NHL's most valuable player in 2002-03.

In his playing days, Bes was a 6'0'' tall, 190 lb power forward/center. Bes was drafted by the Laredo Bucks in the second round of the 1996 NBA Draft. Bes played for the Bucks from 1996-2002, averaging 10.4 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.

Bes played for the Utah Jazz from 2002-2004, averaging 5.5 points and 2.4 rebounds per game. Bes then played for the Toronto Raptors from 2004-2006, averaging 7.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. 

Bes then played for the Dallas Mavericks from 2006-2007, averaging 5.7 points and 2.0 rebounds per game.

Sylvain Cloutier spent many years playing in the NHL, starting with the Chicago Blackhawks. He was a key player on the Blackhawks teams that won two Stanley Cups in the 1990s.

After leaving the Blackhawks, Cloutier played for the AHL's Adirondack Red Wings, the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks and the Houston Aeros. He retired from playing in 2009. Sylvain Cloutier is now a hockey coach, working with the QMJHL's Val-d'Or Foreurs.

He is married and has two children. Sylvain Cloutier is a regular contributor to the French-language sports magazine, La Presse. 

Cloutier was named a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2013. Sylvain Cloutier is one of the most decorated players in NHL history, having been awarded three Stanley Cups, an Olympic gold medal and a World Championship gold medal.

Scott Kosmachuk is a 29-year-old right winger who played for the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League (AHL) during the 2015-16 season. Kosmachuk was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the third round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

He has also played for the Anaheim Ducks, Calgary Flames, and Winnipeg Jets. Kosmachuk has competed in three NHL playoff games, all of which were with the Anaheim Ducks. He has also appeared in 185 AHL games and scored 47 goals and 108 points.

Kosmachuk is a two-time Memorial Cup champion, having won the championship with the Windsor Spitfires in 2013 and the London Knights in 2016.

Martin St. Pierre was born on August 11, 1983 in Embrun, Ontario. He is a left-handed shot and played for the Chicago Blackhawks, Boston Bruins, Ottawa Senators, HC Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk, and Oulun Kärpät.

He has won three Stanley Cups with the Blackhawks, and two with the Bruins. He was selected to the Eastern Conference All-Star team in 2009 and 2010. He is a two-time Olympic gold medalist with Team Canada. Martin is married to Joanne and has two children.

Zack Mitchell was born in Orangeville, Ontario, Canada in 1993. He played his junior hockey with the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).

Mitchell made his professional debut with the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL) in the 2012-13 season. He struggled to produce offensively with the Wild, however, he was a mainstay on the team's penalty kill.

Mitchell was signed by the St. Louis Blues on 7 July 2015. He made his NHL debut with the Blues on 17 October 2015 in a 5-4 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks. Mitchell was traded to the Carolina Hurricanes on 2 February 2017.

He was released by the Hurricanes on 25 February 2017. Mitchell signed with the Vancouver Canucks on 2 March 2017. 

Zack Mitchell was drafted by the Minnesota Wild in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft but did not sign with the team. He has played for the Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk, Dinamo Riga, Dinamo Minsk, SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers and NHL affiliate, the Minnesota Wild.

Mitchell has played in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) for the past two seasons with Dinamo Minsk and SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers. 

Mitchell has played in 190 games in the AHL and KHL combined, scoring 24 goals and 54 assists. Mitchell has represented the United States at the World Junior Championship (WJC) in both 2015 and 2017. Mitchell is currently in his fourth season with the Minnesota Wild.

Peter Holland is a Canadian centre who has played in the NHL for the Carolina Hurricanes and the Detroit Red Wings. He was drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes in the third round of the 2009 NHL Draft.

He signed with the Detroit Red Wings as a free agent in 2015. He has played in 165 NHL games, scoring 32 goals and adding 56 assists. Holland was part of the Canada team that won the World Junior Championship in 2010.

He has also played for the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League. Holland is a two-time winner of the AHL's Top Scorer Award. In 2018, he signed a one-year contract with the Vancouver Canucks. Holland is married and has two children.

Holland returned to the NHL in 2017 with the New York Islanders. He played with the team until he was traded to the Arizona Coyotes in February of 2018. He signed with the Vancouver Canucks in April of 2018 and played with them until he was traded to the Edmonton Oilers in January of 2019.

Holland signed with the Detroit Red Wings in January of 2019 and played with them until he was traded to the Florida Panthers in February of 2020. Holland signed with the Montreal Canadiens in February of 2020 and played with them until he was traded to the Philadelphia Flyers in February of 2021.

Holland signed with the Colorado Avalanche in February of 2021 and played with them until he was traded to the Minnesota Wild in February of 2022. Holland signed with the New Jersey Devils in February of 2022 and played with them until he retired in May of 2022.

Chris Hajt is a former Canadian football player who played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Hajt was drafted by the Roughriders in the third round of the 1998 CFL Draft.

Hajt played college football at the University of Tulsa. Hajt has also played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Hajt has won two Grey Cups with the Roughriders, in 2007 and 2013.

Chris Hajt was a highly-touted prospect when he was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the 1996 NHL Draft. He spent four seasons with the Oilers, making an impact both on and off the ice. He was traded to the Washington Capitals in 2001 and played with them until 2008.

Hajt then spent two seasons with the Füchse Duisburg of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga before signing with HC Bolzano in Italy. Hajt retired from professional hockey in 2009. He now works in the Oilers scouting department. Hajt is a three-time Olympian and a two-time World Champion.

He is also a two-time nominee for the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy. Hajt is a highly-respected member of the hockey community.

Wright was born in Kitchener, Ontario in 1976. Wright began his hockey career playing for the Edmonton Road Runners in the OHL. Wright was drafted by the Dallas Stars in the 2nd round of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft.

Wright made his NHL debut with the Dallas Stars in the 1999-2000 season. Wright played for the Dallas Stars until 2004. Wright signed with the Montreal Canadiens as a free agent in 2004. Wright played for the Montreal Canadiens until 2008.

Wright signed with the Calgary Flames as a free agent in 2008. Wright retired from professional hockey in 2008. Wright was drafted by the Dallas Stars in the 98th overall in the 1994 NHL Draft. Wright spent his entire professional playing career in the NHL with the Dallas Stars.

He played 602 career games, registering 234 points. Wright also played for the Calgary Flames, Philadelphia Flyers, Lukko, Genève-Servette HC, and Frankfurt Lions. Wright was a key player on the Stars' 2006 Stanley Cup championship team. He was also a member of Canada's 2006 World Junior Championship team.

Zac Leslie is a Canadian defender who currently plays for English side Sheffield Wednesday. Leslie started his career with local side Nepean United before joining the Ottawa Fury in 2014.

He made his debut for the Canada national team in 2016 and has since gone on to make eight appearances. In January 2019, Leslie signed for English side Sheffield Wednesday. Leslie has also represented Canada at youth level.

Leslie is a versatile defender who is capable of playing at either centre-back or left-back. He is a hard-working defender who is known for his ball-playing ability. Leslie is a regular for the Canada national team and is considered one of the country's brightest young defenders.

Kent McDonell played for the Columbus Blue Jackets for six seasons before retiring in 2012. McDonell was a prolific scorer in the NHL, amassing over 350 points.

He was a member of the Canadian national team and won a silver medal at the 2002 Winter Olympics. McDonell was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2007 and has since been an advocate for the disease.

He is married to his wife Shelley and they have two children. McDonell has since become a commentator for the Blue Jackets and is also a hockey coach. Kent McDonell was drafted 225th overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 1997 NHL Draft.

After playing four seasons with Skellefteå AIK in the Swedish Elite League, McDonell made his North American debut with the Carolina Hurricanes in 2000. He played six seasons with the Hurricanes, helping the team to a Stanley Cup Championship in 2005.

Nick Bootland is a retired professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League for the Cleveland Barons. Nick Bootland was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the second round of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft.

Nick Bootland played his junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League with the Ottawa 67's. Bootland made his NHL debut with the Cleveland Barons in 2002. He was traded to the Edmonton Oilers in 2003 and played with them until 2006.

Bootland then signed with the Atlanta Thrashers and played with them until 2010. Bootland retired from professional hockey in 2010. Since retiring from hockey, Bootland has worked as a television colour commentator for the Flames and the Oilers.

Dmitri Samorukov was born on June 16, 1999 in Volgograd, Russia. At 6' 3" and 188 pounds, Samorukov is a tall defenceman who shoots left. Samorukov has played for CSKA Moscow in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) and was selected by the Montreal Canadiens in the first round (24th overall) of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.

In his rookie season in the KHL, Samorukov scored six goals and added twenty-four assists for thirty-six points in fifty-six games. 

The Canadiens assigned Samorukov to their AHL affiliate, the Hamilton Bulldogs, for the 2018-19 season. In sixty-six games with the Bulldogs, he scored eight goals and thirty-one assists for forty-seven points.

Samorukov is expected to make his NHL debut with the Canadiens in the 2019-20 season. Samorukov's father, Dmitri Sr., played in the NHL for the Philadelphia Flyers and the Atlanta Thrashers. 

Dmitri Samorukov is a member of the Russian national team, and he played in the 2018 World Junior Championship. In 2019, Samorukov was named the KHL's Defenceman of the Year.

Eric Beaudoin is a left wing who has played for the Florida Panthers. He was drafted by the Panthers in the third round of the 2000 NHL Entry Draft. He has played in 535 career games, scoring 107 goals and adding 138 assists.

Rumun Ndur was born on July 7, 1975 in Nigeria. He is 6'2" tall and weights 244 pounds. Rumun is a defenceman and played for the Buffalo Sabres. He has a left shot and played in the NHL from 1999-2004.

Daniil Chayka is a young, talented defenceman that was drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in the 3rd round of the 2016 NHL draft. Chayka has spent the majority of his career playing in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), where he has recorded 57 points (10 goals and 47 assists) in 214 games.

Chayka has also played in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Manitoba Moose, where he has recorded eight points (one goal and seven assists) in 32 games. Chayka is a strong skater that can move the puck up the ice quickly. He is also a good shot blocker and has a good physical game.

Chayka is expected to make the jump to the NHL this season and could become a key player for the Jets. He will need to continue to develop his game if he wants to become a top-level defenceman. 

Chayka is a longshot to make the Stanley Cup playoffs this season, but he is worth watching. Daniil Chayka is a promising defenceman that is looking to make a name for himself in the NHL.

Adam Dennis is a goaltender for the Rochester Americans in the American Hockey League. Dennis was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the second round, 54th overall, of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.

Dennis played college hockey at the University of Michigan. Dennis made his professional debut with the Amerks in 2006. 

Dennis signed a two-year contract with the Sabres in December 2011. Dennis was traded to the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for a second-round draft pick in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft on February 27, 2013.

Ryan Risidore is a defenseman who played for the Springfield Falcons in the American Hockey League. He was drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in the second round of the 1997 NHL Entry Draft.

Phillips has represented Canada at junior level. He has also played for Team Canada at the U17 and U19 levels. Phillips is a left-handed shooter. He has been with Liiga team Levanger since 2017.

Phillips has also played for the Canadian national team at various youth levels. He is currently playing in the Liiga. Phillips was drafted in the first round, by the Los Angeles Kings, in the 2017 NHL Draft.

Chris Madden is a goaltender who has played in the NHL for 14 seasons. He was drafted by the Hartford Whalers in the second round of the 1997 NHL Entry Draft.

Tom McCollum is a professional American football player who currently plays for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). McCollum attended the University of Minnesota, where he played college football for the Gophers.

He was drafted by the Vikings in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft. McCollum has been selected to the Pro Bowl three times, and was named first-team All-Pro in 2018. McCollum is the son of Tom and Marlene McCollum, and has two brothers, Austin and Tyler.

McCollum is married to his wife, Amanda, and they have two children, son Hudson and daughter Harper. McCollum is a Christian and has spoken about his faith in the media. McCollum is a philanthropist, and has donated money to charity through the Tom McCollum Foundation.

Garrett Sparks is a goaltender for the Toronto Maple Leafs. He was drafted by the Leafs in the 190th overall in the 2011 NHL Draft. Andrew Penner is a goaltender who has played in the NHL for the Columbus Blue Jackets, Philadelphia Flyers, and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Penner was drafted by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.

In 2007, Penner was traded to the Philadelphia Flyers. In 2009, Penner was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins. Penner played in the 2010 Stanley Cup Final with the Penguins, but they were defeated by the Vancouver Canucks.

In the 2013-14 season, Penner signed with the Pittsburgh Penguins. In the 2017-18 season, Penner signed with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. Penner has played in 598 NHL games, recording 246 wins, 240 losses, and 119 ties.

Penner was a part of the Canadian team that won the gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics. Penner played for the Dayton Bombers, Johnstown Chiefs, Springfield Falcons and Syracuse Crunch in the NHL. He was undrafted and never played in the NHL for a full season.

He played for the W-B/S Penguins, Colorado Eagles, and Wheeling Nailers in the AHL. He retired in 2012. Penner was a two-time AHL All-Star and a two-time Calder Cup Champion. He played in 206 NHL games. Penner was born in 1987 in Belleville, Ontario. He has a wife and two children.

Scott Walker was born in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada in 1973. Walker played for the Carolina Hurricanes from 2007-2008, where he had 10 goals and 16 assists for 26 points in 56 games.

Walker has also played for the Milwaukee Admirals, the Chicago Blackhawks, and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Walker has played in over 650 NHL games and has scored over 230 points. Walker has also played for the United States Men's National Team, and was a part of the 2006 Winter Olympics team.

Walker was signed by the Minnesota Wild on July 1, 2016, and played in 11 games for the team before being released on October 3, 2016. Walker is currently a free agent and has been linked with a return to the Carolina Hurricanes. 

Walker is married and has four children. Walker is a right wing who is known for his speed, scoring ability, and strong defensive play.

Barr was a prolific scorer in his NHL career, amassing over 1,000 points in 1,414 games. After being drafted by the Bruins in the second round of the 1980 NHL Entry Draft, Barr spent several years in the minors before making his debut with Boston in 1984-85.

He was a key member of the Bruins' Stanley Cup-winning team in 1990, scoring 23 points in 23 games. Barr was traded to the Calgary Flames in 1995, where he played until he was traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2001. He retired after the 2001-02 season, having played his last game with Tampa Bay.

Barr has since become a successful coach, coaching the Lowell Lock Monsters of the American Hockey League for two seasons. Barr was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2013. Barr has two children, a son and daughter. Barr currently resides in Toronto.
